I rolled my hips as the music hit my ears; I had glow sticks levitating above my head. My white fur glistened under the bright lights, my purple and pink mane sparkled. I was dancing with my best stallion friends Gourmet Palate and Axel; they were always up for a good rave. I closed my eyes and let myself get lost in the crowd and music; I wasn't paying attention and I bumped into another pony. My eyes shot open "Oh no I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going" I said turning around. A pegasus stallion with jet black fur stared at me for a moment, he had golden eyes which held me captive under his gaze. He mane styled his mane into a mohawk which was white and blue, his cutie mark's a cloud with a lightning strike.
"Oh, it's no problem just shows how much fun you are having" he smirked. I smiled at him and walked into the crowd towards my friends, I motioned him to join us. Thunderlane followed behind me Gourmet Palet and Axel nodded their heads and continued to do their thing. I looked up at Thunderlane to see he was nervously biting his lower lip. 'God that's so hot' I thought to myself, I smirked and got closer to him. I grabbed his hooves and put them on my flank, I looked up to see he was blushing slightly. 'Awe he looks so cute' I said to myself with a small smile. As we continued to dance, I noticed one of my best mare friends Vapor trail, I smiled and waved one of my hooves. She waved back and started walking towards Thunderlane and I.
"Hey, girl how are you?" Vapor trail asked. I gave her a smirk and looked at Thunderlane. "Well, looks like you will end up having an all-nighter" Vapor trail joked. I stuck my tongue out and laughed. Thunderlane and I continued to dance, Vapor trail was talking to Gourmet Palet and Axel.
"So you guys how are you tonight?" Vapor asked.
"Great, this turned out to be a better rave than I thought it would be," Gourmet Palet said fixing his mane. Vapor trail nodded in agreement.
"I wasn't even going to show up. I'm glad I did," she said smiling.
"I'll always show up," Axel said with a goofy smile.
"Oh, you will you have no life" Gourmet Palet joked with his best friend. Axel just rolled his eyes and let out a huff. Vapor trail laughed at the two best stallion friends joking around with each other. She looked at Black Light and Thunderlane, she made her way back over to the pair.
"So Thunderlane, what are your intentions with my best mare friend Black Light?" Vapor trail glared up at him. Black Light let out a sigh.
"Oh Vapor Trail I'll be fine, not like he has sinister intentions" She smiled at her friend. Vapor nodded and wandered off, I sighed and looked at the stallion towering over me. "Vapor worries about me, I had a terrible boyfriend a few years back. He was mean and liked to yell a lot," Black Light looked down.
"I'm not like him, I may intimidate because of my size but I'm like a huge teddy bear," Thunderlane smiled. Black Light nodded and looked in the crowd.
"I need to find Vapor trail, something must bother her or she wouldn't have even asked you that question," Black Light finished. Thunderlane walked over to Gourmet Palet and Axel.
"Everything okay? Who is Blackie looking for?" Gourmet Palet asked worry written all over his face.
"She said she would look for her friend Vapor trail," Thunderlane let out a groan.
"Everything will be all right, they just need to talk," Axel said cheerfully. Thunderlane nodded he could see Black Light had found Vapor trail.
"Blackie I can't help but worry you are family" Vapor quietly spoke. Black Light let out a dejected sigh.
"Vapor I know I'm family to you, we've been mare friends since we were little foals. I promise you I'll be fine, I won't let anything happen to me", Black Light smiled. Vapor trail gave her a nod, and they hugged it out.
"I needed that thank you" Vapor concluded. Black Light beamed at her friend and motioned for her to come with her. The two mares strolled back over to the stallions, Gourmet Palet, Axel and Thunderlane waved at them.
"Man, we thought you would leave" Axel sighed. Black Light shook her head and ruffled Axel's white mane while grabbing Gourmet Palet in for a hug, she was whispering something in his ear. He nodded and Black Light looked up at Thunderlane, he huffed.
"All right, Thunderlane thank you for hanging out with my friends and I but I think it's time to go to bed" Black Light groaned.
"Okay, will I see you tomorrow?" Thunderlane asked optimistically. Black Light considered it for a minute, looked up at the stallion and kissed him passionately. Her friends smiled, Black Light waved goodbye as she left. Her group started to walk to Ponyville.
"Girl it's about time you started to show interest in a stallion finally, it's been a while" Vapor trail stated. Black Light nodded in agreement.
"Indeed, he seems like he is more interested in hanging out and getting to know your friends, he wants to get to know you instead of wanting to fuck right away. I say you should continue to see him" Axel remarked. Black Light nodded in agreement at her friend's opinions.
"I know Oreo wasn't the best stallion friend you, but I agree with Axel and Vapor trail. You need to let him in. You need to at least give him a chance" Gourmet Palate expressed. The group trotted into Ponyville, they were almost to Black Light’s house.
"Why did I think it was a good idea to build my house on the outskirts of Ponyville?" Black Light remarked.
"Yeah, Black Light why d'you think that was a good idea?" Axel commented in between laughs. Black Light rolled her eyes as she hit Axel in the shoulder. "Was that supposed to hurt?" he expressed. Black Light started to laugh at her friends, Black Light was laughing hard enough to snort which caused the rest of the group to laugh.
"Oh, man this is the best night out I've had in a while, I'm glad I came out with you guys" Vapor trail smiled.
"I'm glad you came out as well" Black Light stated. They finally came up to Black Light's house. "Sleepover?" she asked. Every pony nodded. Black Light walked through the gate and walked to the back door, they went into the house and she started getting tons of blankets and pillows.
"There are only four of us do you think you need that many?" Gourmet Palet observed. Black Light nodded.
"We need this many, because I want us all to be comfortable" Black Light let out a sigh as she finished getting the big pile of blankets and pillows ready. Vapor trial went into the kitchen and started to get drinks ready for everyone, Gourmet Palet was right behind her getting snacks ready.
"Blackie, what do you want to drink?" Vapor asked. Black Light thought about it for a moment.
"Banana smoothie" she commented. Vapor started getting it ready for her.
"Blackie what would you like to eat?" Gourmet Palet asked. Now this one she had to think about it.
"Cheesy curly fries" Black Light stated. After Blackie's snack and drink were ready, they got everyone else done. Blackie got a movie ready and got snuggled into her blankets. Every pony enjoyed their snacks as they watched the movie.
"What the hell is this movie called?" Axel asked.
"Isle of Ponies" Black Light commented. Once the movie finished Gourmet Palet and picked up everyone's dishes and started to wash them.
"Oh Gourmet you don't have to do that for me, I should be the one doing dishes you're my guest," Black Light remarked.
"Don't worry about it, it's the least I could do. Plus, when I started every pony was asleep" Gourmet Palet let out a laugh. Black Light smiled at her best stallion friend.
"Well, I will go back to sleep, see you in the morning" Black Light commented. Soon Black Light was fast asleep. The sun was shining through the windows, the birds were chattering. Black Light sat up with a groan, she was the only one up right now so she enjoyed the sunrise. She went back inside to see Gourmet Palet and Vapor trail were up.
"Good morning, you two missed the sunrise" Black Light smiled.
"Ugh, how can you be so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed so early in the morning?" Vapor trail groaned.
"Because she loves to watch the sunrise, I bet she already watered her flowers and garden. And I bet she already fed her koi fish" Gourmet Palet commented. Black Light shook her head.
"No, so far I've just watched the sunrise" she stated. Gourmet Palet shrugged. Black Light filled her watering can with water as she started to water her lilies.
"You have such pretty lilies," Vapor trail remarked. Black Light smiled at her friend.
"Thank you, they are my pride and joy" Black Light commented. "These orange ones right here with the black spots are Tiger lilies. These white and yellow ones are Golden-rayed lilies. These pink ones right here are stargazer lilies, they are my favorite. And I know the yellow ones are Easter lilies" Black Light finished. Vapor trail smiled at her friend.
"Wow, thank you for showing me your lilies, it's crazy how many types you have" Vapor trail stated.
"That's nothing you haven't seen my roses in the house's front" Black Light smiled. The two mares watered the garden and the roses.
"Wow, what type of roses are these?" Vapor trail pointed to a group of white and yellow ones.
"Those are Dog-Rose" Black Light stated. Vapor trail went on to the next group, she pointed at the pink and yellow ones.
"I like these what are they called?" Vapor trail asked.
"Sweet-Brier, they are my favorites as well" Black Light commented. "And these big pink ones are Rosa 'Queen Elizabeth' these are my mother's favorite ones. I always send her a bouquet of these on mother's day" Black Light smiled. The two mares watered Black Light's garden full of vegetables and fruits after they finished they went inside to see that breakfast made.
"Oh Gourmet you didn't have to do this, thank you so much" Black Light smiled.
"I know I didn't, but I wanted too. So we have blueberry pancakes with brown sugar and cinnamon haycakes, fruit salad which consists of apple slices, orange slices, kiwi, pineapple, and grapes" Gourmet smiled at his masterpiece. Every pony dished up and enjoyed their breakfast. Once Every pony finished with breakfast, it was time for some of them to go to work. Gourmet Palet had to leave for his shift at Cafe Hay today. Axel had to leave to make his deliveries of tools, and Vapor trail had to leave to meet up with the rest of the wonder bolts. Black Light was the only one that didn't have to work today, she didn't know what to do with herself. She let out a sigh and went outside, she would go see some of her other mare friends. She fixed her mane into a bun and braided her tail, she brushed her teeth and went outside. Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, and Rarity would be busy with work. She would visit Pinkie Pie first then Fluttershy, she went out the door and made her way to Sugar Cube Corner.
