It's Not A Diary, It's A Journal!

Okay, let's get a couple of things out of the way. For starters, I'm not doing this whole journal (it's not a diary, that's just sissy) thing because I want to. When my mom asked me, I said no way, Hosea. I'm not a sissy pony who writes down my feelings and mushy stuff like that. That sounds like something Sweetie Belle would do, but it's just not for me. When my mom threatened to take away my CMC privileges, however, I gave in. I knew at that point that she wasn't asking. At least the journal she picked out isn't girly or sissy. I hate girly, sissy stuff. Except for Sweetie Belle. She's girly, but she's no sissy. She's super pretty, too. Like, really pretty. I honestly don't know about Sweetie Belle. She makes me feel all fluttery and weird. I'll ask Rainbow Dash about it. She always knows about these kinds of things. Anyway, I don't really know what I'm supposed to put in here. I guess I could write about my day or something.
Okay, so today me, Apple Bloom, and Sweetie Belle went down to the creek. Apple Bloom had the brilliant idea to go fishing. I had never fished before, but Sweetie Belle said she went fishing with her dad all the time, so she taught me how to cast the line. Feeling her coat against mine made my face go all red for some reason, and Apple Bloom giggled at us, like she knew something we didn't. We had some trouble with the bait, but eventually, Sweetie Belle managed to use her magic to hook the worms. Apple Bloom managed to catch a couple of decent-sized perch, but Sweetie Belle caught a giant largemouth bass! I didn't catch anything, but I sure had fun! We went to Sugarcube Corner for lunch. Milkshakes were on the house, as payment for helping foalsit the twins last week.
After lunch, Apple Bloom had to help her family around the farm, so I hung out with Sweetie Belle. We went to her sister's store and tried to make a dress. It... probably could have gone better. At least we didn't use all of Rarity's expensive gemstones by mistake, am I right? We kind of got kicked out, so I showed Sweetie Belle some cool tricks on my scooter. She seemed to be impressed. At least, I hope she was impressed. She had to be impressed. I want to impress her. She had to go home, so I went home too and had some dinner with my mom. Dad got stuck with the night shift this time, so that was a bit of a bummer. My parents are never home at the same time. They're always so busy. Anyway, my mom wants me to turn off the light now, so I guess this is it? This whole journal thing is more fun than I thought. Goodnight!
