Prologue
"Sapphire? Sapphire where is it?" White asked as the lights in the room began to dim. Sapphire was laying across the ground on her side as tears began to drip from the end of her beak. The Griffon shook her head looking away from the stallion because she didn't want to answer his question wrong. She didn't know what to say, the lab was destroyed and blood was dripping off the table. White Lightning ripped off his jacket and knelt down next to the hurt bird. "Sapphire, please, tell me where it is. Where did it go?" White ducked a bit more as a light bulb above his head sparked with an explosion, his hooves covered in blood just from entering the room.
"I don't ... I don't know! We were trying to track it down and it came ... I was knocked down and when I looked up!" the tears that were only dripping began to flow from her eyes. "All my friends are dead!" She pushed her talons against the ground to get up but White stopped her. She was in no spot to rush things, not with her current condition, to much stress and she would loose it. Her white feathers were stained and White would notice right away that her right wrist was twisted. "How long has it been out, Mr. Weyland? How long has it been.." the griffon gasped a bit as pain shot up her back making it hard to breathe for a moment. Sapphire weakly started to remove her lab coat, her face gave a painful expression because she had to use her twisted hand. A loud and chilling screeching sound rang from the ventilation as the creature was becoming distant from where it had just attacked. White closed his eyes and helped Saph with what was left of her torn lab coat so she didn't have to use her hurt talons anymore than she already had
"I am sorry Sapphire I was trying to get inside. The system had the door mainframe completely locked down!! I feel that any longer and it would have been too late..." White's horn aura lit up as he used magic to grab one of the many broken tests from the ground. Sapphire watched and a look of disappointment rested on her face as she stared into the shattered glass because all of the research was now just pieces of a failure to contain the subject. "I thought it was going to be easier! We had this thing contained and under our control. We were so close to my goal!"
Introduction
Weyland Yutani Corporation
Living in space is the dream of many ponies throughout Equestria and this dream was made possible due to modern advances made by Weyland Yutani Corporation. Weyland Yutani is primarily a technology supplier, manufacturing synthetics, spaceships and computers for a wide range of industrial and commercial clients, making them a household name to all ponies of Equestria. Weyland-Yutani also has numerous non-manufacturing interests; the company has extensive assets in interplanetary shipping and transport so the working scientists and numerous other applicants of Wey-Yu spend allot of time in space. They work hard to build better worlds for the ponies of Equestria, the company was founded in the early industrial age of Equestria by White Lightning, other known as by his applicants as Mr.Weyland.
However, with every good side, there is a dark side of a company. Weyland Yutani has a dark side like no other, one that revolves around greed and death. With the advances building with space travel under the companies wings they were able to reach places far off from their home world, Equestria. Curiosity brought them to a discovery of many interesting and groundbreaking discoveries. These discoveries were never released to the public eye and White Lightning being the head of the company would be held responsible for hiding these discoveries if the public were to find out.
It was one discovery however that changed everything ... Equestria was at war, Ponies vs Griffons, the princesses went to Weyland Corp for help. Surely with their technology, they could help win this war? The company agreed to help fight the war in any way they could, White Lightning wanted this war to be over so they could do their dream. A better world ... it was a trip to the outer reaches of space when they came across something that could actually end this war. It was a creature ...a creature they would continue to fail upon containing. The creature's profile name would be known to the corporation as the Xenomorph. The corporation from that point on would consistently drive its employees and agents to obtain a living sample of the species often without regard for the lives of anyone involved in said attempts so that the creatures may be exploited as biological weapons or otherwise for financial gain. The company also operated numerous research and development facilities throughout the galaxy, often pursuing top-secret research into illegal or dangerous fields, focusing in particular on the study of the Xenomorph species.
From the start, even the lowliest of Weyland-Yutani's employees were aware of the corrupt nature of the conglomerate. It was common knowledge among the company what their plans were in order to aid ponies in the war. It didn't take long before all their focus was on capturing a Xenomorph. Mr.Weyland, who's identity was public for a period of time until he was forced to go into secrecy. It was after a horrible crash on a foreign planet that would leave him stranded alone for weeks that would teach the corrupt pony what he was looking for. The needs to capture a Xenomorph, this was learned because White Lightning (Mr.Weyland) was not truly alone on the desolate planet.
A outcasted alien being who settled there stumbled upon the crash and took in the pony to bring him back to full health. The creature would learn of White Lightning's wishes to capture the Xenomorph and it would help by teaching him what had been done by the race of the aliens for years. How to make a Xenomorph and contain it, and as time moved forward a rescue would come after locating Mr.Weyland and take him from the planet he crashed on. With him he had the knowledge of what they needed, the needs to contain, to capture a Xenomorph. This is where our story begins ... the meeting that will change Weyland history forever.
