Chapters Twilight was laying in her room in the friendship castle partially undressed as she read a book. It was a very quiet day and that's what she liked. In fact it was a bit to quiet in the town of Ponyville. She had realized that no other citizens were talking. She couldn't understand why. She decided that she couldn't stand the quietness so she went outside and saw something that shocked her.
She saw that everything was a wasteland. She looked around and started to walk. She was baffled by how her old home looked. It frightened her. She had no idea how long she had been inside. One time it was normal and colorful and now it was a ruined plain. She wondered if the other towns and cities looked like this.
None of it made sense to her. When's he went to bed it was all perfect but now it was all ruined. She needed some answers and she needed them immediately and the only way to do that was to find her friends which she was going to do.
It baffled her. She saw somepony walking up to her. Her eyes widened. She had realized that maybe Equestria invaded. She looked around. She felt like she was in a nightmare. She was becoming uneasy. She started to hyperventilate. She ran to Sugarcube Corner. She saw Pinkie Pie making a barricade. Pinkie Pie saw her and pulled her in.
"Twilight where were you!? Celestia is dead and Equestria has been attacked. Nobody is left." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight looked around and saw they all had supplies and weapons. It looked like they were in a war. Twilight was flabbergasted. Twilight lost it.
"What do you mean nobody is left!? I went to sleep last night when everything was fine! What the hell is happening!? Please explain it to me!!" Twilight yelled. Rarity shrugged at her.
"It's true Twilight please believe us." Rarity said. Twilight glared at them. She looked outside and saw that the place was war torn. She looked back at them and saw that Rarity was nodding. Twilight's eye twitched. She started to hyperventilate. She sat down and hugged her legs to her chest and rocked back and forth.
Her friends looked on in concern. Twilight laughed manically. She hyperventilated while laughing. Her eye twitched. Rarity approached her slowly and cautiously. Rarity touched her shoulder.
"Twilight calm down! We will protect you. Please relax. Just talk to us. What's bothering you? Tell us and we'll take care of it. We will tell you anything you want to know Twilight." Rarity said. Twilight rocked back and forth.
"Oh nothing's bothering me! It's fine! It'll all be fine!! It's all super dandy!! It's just nothing's left in Equestria! Everything is ruined! But it's all swell! Hahahahaha!" Twilight laughed in a crazy manner. Rarity rubbed her back in order to sooth her.
"I'm afraid Twilight's lost her mind in a matter of minutes! I thought she would be more rational about what was happening but I guess I was wrong." Rainbow Dash whispered to Fluttershy.
"I thought I was the one who was scared!" Fluttershy said. Rarity nodded at Fluttershy as she agreed with her. They decided to give Twilight space so she didn't feel overwhelmed.
"Lalalalalalala!" Twilight sang to herself. They waited for her to calm down. Soon she had calmed down and was now laying on a mattress they set up for her and sleeping because the situation had tired her out. Her friends hoped that she would calm down so that they could explain the situation to her in a gentle manner.
Soon she woke up. She looked around and saw her friends checking weapons and supplies. She sat up. Rarity came over to her. Twilight looked at her and spoke to Rarity to try and get answers to get questions.
"So when did this war start?" Twilight asked. Rarity winced as she prepared to say the truth.
"A few days ago. You've been sleeping for awhile." Rarity said. As soon as Rarity said that Twilight started to go and eat food from their supplies as she was very hungry. After an hour of eating. She sat on the floor and breathed fast. She spoke.
"Continue!" Twilight said. Rarity was shocked. She shook it off and continued to speak about what happened.
"An army of mercenaries from the far west who hated Celestia took over Equestria as a regime and started to reign war on the civilians. Pockets of resistance have been set up and we've been involved in the war for a few days. We have no idea how to win it but we must fight. The elements of harmony have been destroyed and every place we knew of have been destroyed. Alls we can do now is fight. We need to fight until we die." Rarity said.
Twilight processed this information very carefully and finally understood what was happening. She had to stay alive for the sake of Equestria. She was breathing heavily. She then thought of something and spoke.
"What about the elements of harmony!?" Twilight asked. Rarity shook her head and sighed to Twilight and spoke.
"They have been destroyed. I'm sorry Twilight weapons and knowledge is all that we have." Rarity said. She and the citizens continued to fix weapons and stockpile food for the journey on.
"We can't stay here." Twilight said.
"We forgot to tell you this but some people might still alive. Yes we will have to move to a new safe house tomarrow Pinkie Pie said. They all decided to figure out what to do tomorrow. They figured out that they could stay there for the night but then they would have to continue their journey tomorrow. Twilight decided to go back to sleep as they had a long journey ahead of them.

The next day Twilight got up and saw that her friends were already getting ready to move out. They had packed up all their supplies and had stuff by the door to take as well. Twilight got prepared and they all headed out. Pinkie Pie scoped the landscape as they had to make sure nothing would attack them.
Rarity was in the back. Rainbow Dash was looking over a map and leading them while Fluttershy was walking while looking around uneasily. They continued this path. Twilight hoped that they had enough food to get them through days and nights so that they wouldn't starve.
Twilight had realized that yesterday everything was perfect and peaceful but when she woke up she had discovered that war had taken over Equestria. As they walked somebody fired at them. They all ducked for cover and Rainbow Dash fired back. Twilight screamed and ducked as well.
She heard the fire fight go on. She wondered how the hell did these mercenaries overthrow Equestria. She felt bad about this war because they were all that were left. It was not looking good. Soon the mercenaries were killed and they continued on to a new shelter.
"Is everybody okay?" Rainbow Dash asked. They all nodded. Twilight was shaking. She hoped that they would be able to save Equestria from what was happening but the way her friends had spoken to her she wouldn't be surprised if this would be their permanent lives.
Rainbow Dash unfolded the map and pointed out where they all needed to go first. Rainbow Dash spoke.
"This is where we want to head to first. It's the hospital There's probably medical supplies, food, water anything that we can get our hands on is good. We need to go there and get anything we can." She said. They all nodded and they all started to head on over to the hospital. Then they were ambushed.
"Contact!" Rarity screamed. They all ducked for cover and fought the mercenaries. An explosion happened behind them so they moved out of the way. Twilight hid with Fluttershy. They both closed their eyes to what was happening. A launcher flew a small bomb torwards them so they got out of the way and defeated the remaining mercenaries.
Fluttershy whimpered in pain and her friends saw that she was hurt. Pinkie Pie went over to her and treated her injury. They all continued on as they couldn't wait to get to where hey we're going.
"Just how much longer is this place?" Twilight said as she groaned. Rainbow Dash looked at the map and spoke to Twilight.
"A few miles so the sooner we continue the faster we will get there." Rainbow Dash spoke. Twilight decided to not ask anymore questions. They didn't want to run into anymore mercenaries so they walked through alleyways in order to avoid anymore contacts with the soldiers that day.
Where are the elements though? I can't wrap my head around them being destroyed!" Twilight asked. Her friends winced. They tried to tell her as carefully as they could.
"The elements have been destroyed by some sort of radiation. We don't know what the radiation is but we know they are using." Rainbow Dash remarked. She shrugged her shoulders. Twilight shook her head sadly. She couldn't believe it.
They all continued walking through an area that looked like the Everfree Forest. Twilight whimpered. They all whipped out flashlights and looked around as they tried to find their way through the the forest. Twilight started to hyperventilate but tried to calm herself.
They then heard something coming. They saw an airplane. It started to shoot at them. They fired back but it was no use. They looked to another direction and headed torwards it.
"Evasive maneuvers!" Pinkie shouted. Missiles were fired near them but missed them completely. They ran as fast as they could. Twilight was running out of breath. They need to get someplace safe.
Soon they made it out. Pinkie Pie threw a hand grenade and it blew up one of the planes propellers. It crashed causing a huge explosion. They all panted as they were put of breath and continued on.
"It's not safe here. We need to get to shelter immediately. Somewhere on that map is a place were we can rest but I'm not sure for certain." Twilight said.
"We will get there. I promise." Applejack said. Since Applejack was so honest they believed her words. They held onto her words with hope they would make it. Soon a bullet grazed Twilights leg. Rainbow Dash fired into the darkness. They helped Twilight up. Twilight was so exhausted she fell asleep. She was lucky that Applejack was strong enough to carry her.
They soon made it to a cave. They set down their stuff and worked on healing Twilights leg. When they fixed her leg they waited for her to wake up. When she woke up she saw that her leg had been fixed up.
"Are we someplace safe. No mercenary will find us right?" Twilight asked. Applejack shook her head.
"No Sugarcube. If it makes you feel any better all of us will take turns scouting but you won't have to." Applejack said. Twilight nodded at her as she appreciated their offer to let her sleep and fell asleep. They all took turns guarding the place for the night so they could each get a good amount of sleep. They knew that they couldn't make to much noise or they would be heard.
They next day they got up and woke everybody up. They needed to get out of the forest. When they did get out of the forest they saw that the grass had grown tall and that there were wrecked buildings and fires going on. They all went through the place quietly so they wouldn't attract anymore attention.
They soon saw a hospital. They were all shocked they rushed towards it. Inside they went through all that they could find for supplies such as hidden food or medical supplies. Twilight found butterfly needles and bandages. She grabbed them all without thinking.
Rarity proceeded to raid the cabinet for medicine and found a few bottles of pain pills. They all searched the entire room and then when they finished looking for as much supplies as they could. After that they headed out of the hospital and went to the nearest abandoned barracks and found ammo which they collected.
Then all of a sudden mercenaries ambushed them. They all shrieked and ducked for cover and then they started to mow them down. They needed to survive for the good of Equestria. They hid behind ammo cases and fired back. Twilight hid from them as she was probably an important target.
When they were done they continued on searching for something to give them hope but if they didn't find that then they would continue to fight anyway. They searched through a field in the back of the hospital and found an old bunker their they went in for the night as they would continue in the morning at dawn. They unpacked and ate and then rested until tomorrow.
Chapter 3
The next day they had all woken up slowly inside the bunker which they stayed at during the night. They all checked their weapons and ate something and then headed out. When they got outside they saw missiles coming at them. They all moved out of the way and fled the scene. When they got to a safe place they all tried to catch their breaths.
"Damn that was close! Those fuckers never give up! It's ridiculous. I can't believe this shit!" Twilight exclaimed. They all looked around and continued to walk cautiously. They had no idea if their was anybody who could help. They all seemed to be alone in the world with evil mercenaries It was sad but they couldn't give up hope.
They studied the map for a bit and decided to keep on walking on the path that they were going in. They had soon entered a dried up place. They needed to get somewhere that was safe for them. Then a soldier dropped in front of them so Twilight shot him dead and they continued as they were all shooken up from all that had happened to them so far.
They were getting hopeless but they knew that they couldn't be like that all that time. They couldn't give up hope as they needed the hope. They needed to keep some hope inside of their hearts of they would feel helpless without hope so they needed hope. They were hopeful they would find some shelter or extra supplies.
Soon they found a barracks full of deadly mercenaries. They ducked down behind a rock to hide and prepare themselves. They checked their weapons. They stayed quiet while Twilight figured out how to proceed. She decided that they would just attack head on. It was stupid. She looked at her friends and sighed. She then spoke to her friends about he current situation that they were now in.
"I don't see anyway around them at we could choose to go through as hey are blocking everyplace we could possibly go through. We are going to have to attack them head on as much as we can. That's the only way we can possibly cross them. I know you girls want to argue that it's a bad idea and we shouldn't do it this way but I see no way around them. I'm really sorry about that." Twilight said.
"No we should sneak around them! It's deadly if we go straight through! twilight! What are you going to do if we all get killed because of your awful decisions?! We have to sneak past them as it would be another deadly firefight and we don't need another deadly fire fight." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight shook her head as she refused it.
"It won't work. Look around! They are everywhere Twight. I'm all for killing these bastards but we need to be smart about how we go through this. It's deadly either way so what are you talking about Twilight! We need to be smart and careful about this or we will be hurt or worse we will be dead! They have binoculars to find us and missiles, poisonous gas and anything else that's deadly harm us. We need to be smart about this girls! Listen to me! We can't be caught off guard." Rainbow Dahs said.
"No we can't be tied down for a second. We have to go through this. It will be alright I'm confident that we will make it through. I promise! Please trust me! I know we can do this! We've been through tough stuff before so we can make it through this mess as well!" Twilight exclaimed.
She stood by her decision to go straight through the merciaries but her friends didn't like that. Her friends were unsure but they decided to trust her anyway as she was a very smart person and she could get them out of any trouble. They all counted to ten and then they charged at them and started to attack them. The bad guys shot back and they entered into a battle.
They fired at all of them trying to mow them all down. They fought fearlessly and ducked when they could. A huge explosion was caused by a missle by a helicopter as more gun fire took place between them. Fluttershy hid from it as it was to intense. If her friends got injuries though then she would treat them for them.
As they fought back they proceeded to push the mercenaries back as they went forward. They fought as much as they could. Several gunships tried to fire heat speaking missiles but they dodged and hid from those. Soon they had killed them all. They soon ran past the area and walked for a few miles until they were safe from any mercenaries who discovered the bodies.
Twilight was right and Rainbow Dash realized that. If they tried to sneak around them they would have all been killed. Rainbow Dash apologized but Twilight said that she didn't blame her for thinking that that was a good idea as it did seem good at one second but when's he had looked at the area she had realized it wasn't such a good idea after all.
They had decided to take a break and they in fact set up a small camp. They laid out sleeping bags tha they had found and laid on them. They saw that the battle had taken up the afternoon and it was now nighttime. Twilight hoped they they could survive this bloody war. They soon went to sleep and waited to see what hope tomorrow would possibly bring
Twilight slept in her makeshift bed. They hoped that they were safe there. They looked around one more time and tried to calm themselves down. They would stay there for that night and continue the morning after.
The next day Twilight and her friends got up and ate whatever food they could find to feed themsleves so that they wouldn't go hungry on their perilous trip that they have been traveling along so far and they checked their ammo. They would have to get some more down the line. After doing that they headed on out and continued on their journey hoping that they would find hope somewhere down the line as they journeyed through the barren wasteland of Equestria.
While they walked they made sure that nobody got left behind. They saw that Equestria was in ruins from the mercenaries. Twilight made sure her friends kept up with her as they walked through Equestria. Soon they sat down and took a break. Twilight looked at the map to see if she could find any place with a possible safe house.
Soon they continued on to a secluded area. But before they could get inside they saw and RPG come their way. They quickly jumped out of the way and got to cover while they were shot at. They tried firing back as best as they could. They were getting hammered. They screamed in fright as they ran back.
Twilight reloaded her assault rifle and shot at them and then ducked for cover. They all defended against the mercenaries. It was to overwhelming for them to fight them all by themsleves. It would have been better if somebody could help them but they knew that wasn't going to happen happen as everybody they knew were dead.
They got some ammo off fallen soilders while they shot at the mercenaries. Soon they saw a building and saw that it was an old warehouse.
They quickly escaped from the place so that nothing bad would happen to them that would injure them or hurt them. They got inside the warehouse and closed the door. They were all out of breath. They looked at eachother and then spoke about what had happened as they were all shocked by the event that had happened to them. They hated that they were in this situation.
"Well that was a very tough and scary ambush that had been sprung on us? It was a surprise attack and we don't need anymore of those types of attacks. I think they know how to spot us now and thats not good at all. We have to learn to hide better, We need to learn how to sneak around them more or we will get hurt or killed." Twilight commented about the mercenaries.
"But how can they? They haven't seen us in a while. It's so weird. It's like they know! About us!" Pinkie Pie said as she checked outside for anymore areas. Twilight looked around the corner to see if anymore mercenaries were roaming around. She could hear her friends in the background talk quietly.
"Alright. The coast is clear! Let's go girls we can't waste anymore time because if we do then the stronger they will get and the weaker we will get and that wouldn't be good if we get captured by them as we wouldn't be able to get away unless we were strong. " Twilight said. They quickly rushed across a courtyard into a path and continued on their way. While they continued to walk. They thought about how hard the whole situation was going to be to fix. They knew that they only had so much patience.
Applejack peered nervously over her other friends and they looked around. Flutterhsy to stood back a bit so she could avoid any body trying to harm her. They soon got into another firefight but it was short. Twilight decided to take pictures of some of the bodies to see if she could run them through a database and find out where the leader of the mercenaries was
Twilight tried to formulate a plan that could help her and her friends but she couldn't think of something. She knew that the mercenaries controlled everything which was bad luck for us to have. so if they just found the boss and killed them then either the war would stop or somebody else would took their place.
They realized that if they killed the head boss of the mercenaries then the mercenaries would be weakened. They probably would try and reinstate a new leader but they could try and kill them altogether. It would be hard but they knew that they would possibly be able to manage. The only problem was that they didn't know who the dictator was. They knew they were bad.
Twilight and her friends continued to walk through the fields and dirt paths as they figured out a plan to destroy the entire fleet of the evil ruler and save Equestria. That was heir best bet if they ever wanted to beat the villains. They knew that the leader was probably ruthless and evil and would do anything in their power to destroy the needy and keep the extravagant people.
It ticked Twilight off at was happening all over Equestria which wasn't supposed to be so war waging but it was and it sickened her and her best friends. so she was determined more than ever to kill off every single mercenary that was threatening Equestria. They couldn't let Equestria fall. They got to another camp and decided to rest for that day and decided to continue tomorrow.
They went to sleep in a cave that was safe from harm. It has shelter and it has food which was important stuff that they needed to survive They had some left overs so they were settled for that moment. They hoped to make the world better by killing all of the mercenaries which T hey promised to each other that they would do that. They didn't loose hope and they didn't want to. They were going to go all the way to save the day even if one of them died but they were assured that wouldn't happen to any of them.
The day after they slept in the cave to regain their energy for that day the night before they had all woken up and we're looking outside the cave. They wanted to make sure that they weren't followed by any spies of the mercenaries. They looked all around to make sure that they weren't ambushed by any mercenaries die to them not looking. They had to avoid making that possible mistake.
They soon figured out that it was okay so they all packed their equipment up and headed on out. When they got outside they continued their journey through the decaying lands of Equestria. It was war torn beyond repair but it was still salvageable as some places could possibly be rebuilt. They made sure they weren't being followed.
They had knowledge that they might not just be facing groups of mercenaries that are all working together as one organization but armies of them and that scared them. They had no idea how they would be able to handle armies of mercenaries by themselves. It seemed hopeless. They wondered how they would deal with that.
They were glad at they hadn't run into any mercenaries as of that moment though as they all could use a break from fighting them all the time. It was wearing them out a lot. They saw that they were coming up a tall mountain. Twilight stopped and turned around to her friends and spoke. Her friends stopped to listen to her talk to them about what they had to do that very moment. They needed to know what they had to get done in order to continue to progress any further.
"We are going to have to climb over this mountain in order to get to the destination of where we want to go. We need to make it their as fast as we can. We can't waste anymore time. I brought rope along so it should do us some good." Twilight said. Twilight swung the rope over the rock and it got tied up in a crevice. She ga a good tug to it and knew that it wasn't going to be let go.
She climbed up the rope as fast as she could so that she didn't fall back down. She hoped that she wouldn't get rope burn if she slid down while holding the rope by accident. When she got on top she climbed the rope to her waist and threw it down to her friends. Her friends climbed up it. Twilight had to make sure not to be pulled over the side by accident. She stayed far back and hugged a tree.
They climbed up the rope one at a time so that Twilight wouldn't fall off. Rainbow Dash went went second and then all of the others went last. They made it up the rope and stood on top of the hill and Twilight took the rope off her waste and then they continued their journey by walking to wherever they were going. They needed to get to another safe spot to camp.
Twilight used her binoculars to scope out any mercenaries in possible small concealed pockets in the mountains. To their disappointment their was a couple. Twilight looked back to the sniper rifle they had been carrying. Twilight put a silencer on the rifle and then she aimed the sniper rifle at the mercenaries and fired at them. Her friends knew exactly what she was doing.
Twilight took them all out and they continued walking to their next destination which they were unsure of where that destination was but they knew that they were going to find it. They were persistant and they needed to be. Twilight knew that they were going to win and save Equestria while also saving the survivors who escaped the war and are now hiding in bunkers or caves that are secluded in safe places away from the dreadful slaughter that the mercenaries were commiting against the citizens of Equestria.
Twilight and her friends knew that they needed to find the person responsible for hiring the mercenaries and ordering the attacks on Equestria. Twilight was angry at them as they had taken away piece in Equestria. She was upset that all of their lives were shattered by this evil group but they knew that they needed to stop them.
Twilight's friends understood Twilights anger. They had lost a few friends to these people so they were going to make the mercenaries pay for all the suffering that they put them through. The only problem was is that their were so many of them and they didn't know how long it would take to find the leader and take out the majority of the group.
"I'm going to avenge Equestria. Mark my words! They will pay for all of the crimes they have committed against Equestria. Twilight said to them. They all nodded at her as she was telling the truth. Twilight and her friends made it to a safe place to stay the night. Twilight saw that the girls were all sitting down taking breaks. Twilight decided to sit down by them.
"I don't mean to say this Twilight. But we can't push ourselves. We have to watch our own health and mental well being. We need to make excellent progress but at the same time we need to be smart about this. I sorry Twilight but it's true. Fluttershy is panting she needs a break." She said. Twilight sighed and decided that they were right.
They all set down their stuff in a scoured area as they set up another temporary camp that they could rest at for a while until they rested up and continued their journey. They rested their for a few hours and eventually stayed their that night to. They're made sure not to be caught by the mercenaries.
The day after they rested they got up and they walked out of the area while they continued their journey to fight the mercenaries. They were wide awake and ready to fight onward. They needed to defeat them and bring back peace to Equestria as quick as they could.
While they were fighting an explosion knocked Twilight backwards. Her friends helped her up and they ran to safety to a secluded area. They saw that they have come upon a Trottingham hospital was in the distance. They knew they had traveled far away. They knew that there could be medicine they could use for injuries there.
They ran to the hospital. Once inside they checked the alleyways and corners for any extra mercenaries. They raced quickly throughout the hospital searching for supplies. Twilight found a chain cutter and came upon a door with a chain on it to lock it. Twilight looked at her friends.
"There's probably other doors liked this. It's a very weird coincidence that a chain cutter was found near a chained door." Rarity said chuckling. Twilight shrugged and pulled the chain loose with the crowbar. She took off the chain and opened the door and then she rushed inside with her friends.
Twilight searched through medicine cabinets to see anything that was of use. While her friends searched though medicine bottles Twilight went over near a station while her friends raided the room for medicine and medical supplies. Twilight took a blood kit and stored it a way. Rarity raised an eyebrow but couldn't respond as Twilight was busy.
They soon heard something bomb the hospital. They ran out of the hospital as the mercenaries bombed it severely. They ran outside and made it just in time as the jets bombed the place. Twilight and her friends ducked for cover. They ran way from the jets as they bombed the hospital.
They were out of breath as the jets destroyed the area of where they just were. They walked fast to a secluded area away from the air strikes. That was when they were ambushed. Twilight and her friends scrambled to cover as they were fired at. Twilight fired back at the mercenary killing him.
They fought off the unexpected ambush attack. A helicopter started to fly towards their way. Twilight shot through the window of the helicopter and the helicopter went down. They needed to get out of the way as the helicopter was falling from the sky in their direction. They got out of the way and it crashed.
They checked out the wreckage to see if they could get anything. They took the extra ammo while they looked in the other compartments. They also got extra medical supplies as well as hidden food. They needed all of that. They took all tha they could ge their hands on and continued on.
They needed to get to more shelter and possibly find out more about the boss who was ordering the mercenaries. They had already checked every soldier for information so that they could capture him but they had found nothing yet. They hoped to find something.
They couldn't find anymore ammo unfortunately. They ran to the next location. They needed to get more supplies and fast since the army was growing at a very fast rate. They couldn't keep up with their number of soldiers which grew in a tremendous speed which scared them.
Fluttershy was beyond terrified due to them not being able to find anymore supplies. They continued to look as they hurried on their journey. They found a few stragglers of mercenaries but they killed them in a quick manner as they had no time to waste as they needed to save Equestria.
Twilight and her friends came under missile fire so they ducked for cover. They had been exposed to these type of attacks before but something had changed and they were about to find out. Then all of a sudden they saw the mercenaries load up a huge missile launcher and if fired several times.
They ran out from that area as quick as they could as several explosions went off behind them. Twilight screamed as they proceeded to viciously attack them with immense firepower. They attacked Twilight and her friends repeatedly to try and drive them back. They hid in a ditch nearby and fired back.
"You fucking pile of shit!" Twilight yelled as she fired back at the mercenaries They entered a heavy gun fight which lasted several minutes. They all fired back at the mercenaries except for Fluttershy who hid. Another missle was launched at them.
"Holy fuck!" Twilight screamed. Rarity shot at them as they used machine guns and missiles against Twilight and her friends. They were almost getting hit so they had to be more careful. Twilight and her friends used all that they had to drive back the soldiers.
Soon the soldiers were overwhelmed and they drew back a bit and Twilight and her friends crawled away. Unfortunately they were hit several times which caused them pain so they got up and ran around the soldiers and escaped. They heard them firing at them it the background. They all stopped and tried to get a break.
"Damn that was close. I almost got killed. These people are persistent." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight nodded at her as they continued on their journey. They hoped that hey could stop the soldiers still but they were at a disadvantage as the soldiers had a lot more firepower. They needed to figure out something.
Twilight and her friends were on the road again as they traveled through their mission. They just had the most intense fight of their lives involving them and the soldiers who hate Celestia and Equestria. They were worn out and they needed to rest themselves for continued battle. They had to win somehow.
They were all exhausted so they got to this store and sat down. Twilight went inside store and found a drink which she gulped down quickly. She ate a few of the snacks in their and then went back outside. She sat down by her friends who were resting from the ordeal.
"I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. We have fought so much. I don't know how we can win this. We will try to win it but at this rate I doubt anything good will happen for us that will boost our chances of saving Equestria." Twilight told her friends.
"Well what ever we do next is up to you Twilight." Rainbow Dash said to her. Twilight sighed. She looked in her bag of supplies that she had as she thought. Twilight looked at her friends and then got out a venipuncture needle. Her friends had no idea what she was trying to do.
What are you doing Twilight?" Rarity asked her friend. Twilight didn't answer as she put the tube into the needle and then she proceeded to tie a tourniquet around her arm she then found a vein and stuck herself while drawing her own blood. Twilight waited for the tube to be filled and then she took out the needle and then she detached he tube from the needle and held it while she put on a jacket.
She motioned her friends to follow her as they continued. Twilight waited until the were up a hill and then while she walked with her friends she turned her head to them and then spoke to them about what she was doing.
"You know how the mercenaries have taken over Equestria right?" Twilight asked. They all nodded at Twilight wondering what Twilight wanted to do. Twilight looked at where she was going and continued.
"We're going to bait them. I know this seems stupid but we will lure them to a trap which they will think they will see us there where I will put this vial of blood that I had collected there and then they will see it and wonder what it means and then once they are all in one spot we will turn on a car and use it to run them over." Twilight said.
"Why are we doing that? I don't seem to understand the point of doing that Twilight." Rarity said. Twilight smirked and responded to her friends doubt.
"After when we run them over we will start firing at them which will catch them off guard so we can eliminate them easily." Twilight said. Rarity and her friends understood and Rainbow Dash spoke up.
"It will be an easy defeat for them." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight and her friends set up the trap. Twilight then saw them so she rolled the vial of her blood to the spot
The soldiers looked down and picked up the vial of blood. Twilight quickly turned on the car and then charged at them and then ran over the group of soldiers. She screamed a victory cry as she ran them down in a one huge group. Her friends then proceeded to fire at the soldiers killing them.
The soldiers tried to fight back. Twilight ran away and then threw a grenade at the car which blew it up near a gas station which killed the guards. It caused a chain reaction causing the gas station to catch on fire. Twilight quickly leaked gasoline on the station and lit that on fire causing a deadly explosion which killed the soldiers.
Her friends quickly ran past he carnage as their plan had been a success. The mercenaries were angry. One of them arrived after seeing the assault from a far. When they saw that their fellow gunmen were killed by the assault they cursed and screamed. Twilight and her friends continued to run away. It had been a huge victory for them.
They couldn't give up yet though as they still had a lot of fights to win in order to defeat the soldiers. The attack only fueled the soldiers hatred of Celestia even more. They hated her for her rule but now since Celestia's close friend had defeated them in a battle it only pissed them off more.
They were at an advantage though. And then while they were walking they saw the bosses right hand man. Twilight grew furious. She wanted to torture the prick. She told her friends what they wanted to do. Fluttershy quickly stood back and ahilded her eyes Fluttershy's friends quickly ganged up on him and then knocked him down. The man started to panic as he was held down. Twilight straddled him.
"Hey! I'm Celestia's student and best friend and I'm going to make you pay for what you have all done to the citizens and her!" Twilight screamed. The man tried to fight back but Twilight quickly took out a blade. The man tried to cry out but they gagged him and then Twilight took the blade and then stabbed him.
The man screamed and convulsed under their weight violently. They threw his dick to the side and pulled out his left eyeball. The man was shaking under them. Rainbow Dash took the blade and started to cut him. The man tried to get out but he was doomed.
Twilight then plunged the knife into his chest and then the man tried to stop them but they quickly lunged the knife right into his chest and carved drawings on his chest. They knew that he was now helpless and would bleed to death but just for extra measure Twilight carved off skin on his stomach who he'd caused him to bleed profusely.
His remaining eye was wide with fear as he cried from the excruciating pain. They held him down until they made sure he died. He convulsed as Twilight stabbed him a bit more and then he bled out and then he let out one more frantic scream and then he died.
Twilight and her friends took his body and drove to the barracks of the soldiers. They quickly hoisted him up on a rope and flung him at the building. The people saw his dead mangled body and screamed from the image. Twilight and her friends drove away.
Twilight and her friends anxiously drove away. Once they got enough away they parked the car and tried to calm themselves. They couldn't believe what they had done. It was the most gruesome act they had committed and they were shocked. They quickly got out and wondered if their was still a chance to save Celestia. They began to talk.
"Do you think we can find her Twilight?" Pinkie Pie asked. Twilight shrugged as they walked through a valley. Twilight looked around her.
"I hope so. If we find her we can have her be reinstated as queen and then she could start arresting the group that had tried to take over Equestria." Twilight told them.
"That thing we did back there made me...sick." Applejack said in an honest way. Twilight nodded understandingly. They felt like that hey we're turning into monsters themselves.
"That was awful." Fluttershy stated. Twilight understood what her friends were feeling. She herself felt pretty sick by the images left in her head. Pinkie Pie shuddered which they nodded understandingly. They continued on their journey hoping to find closure to this terrible event.
The main man who was in charge of the paramilitary group was extremely angry at what had transpired as he had heard about it from a guard who was from the barracks who saw the body that Twilight and her friend tortured. He feared for his life as they knew Twilight and her friends were coming to get him. Meanwhile Twilight and her friends were starting to close in on the main place of the soldiers.
"So what do you want to do when we get our hands on the main head of the group?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I say we torture him and then behead him in revenge for tormenting Equestria." Twilight said. Due to their luck they had found Celestia alive in a prison so they freed her and let her follow them. Celestia heard about what Twilight wanted to do and was all for it as she didn't want to arrest the man and let him live comfortably in a jail.
As Twilight, Celestia and her friends proceeded to get closer to the main headquarters of the group became desperate in attacking them but with Celestia's help they had an easy time killing the soldiers. Soon they invaded the barracks and killed all of the personal.
They finally made it to the main chamber of the villain who was in charge of it. They shot his dog and Twilight and her friends dragged him outside causing him to scream and beg. They threw him on his face and Twilight held him down while Celestia spoke.
"You are a disgrace to Equestria. I will make sure that you suffer a painful and extreme death just like how Twilights friends caused your close friend to suffer. They tortured him and killed him till he soaked himself and died in excruciating pain. You are going to suffer!!" Celestia yelled.
Celestia nodded at Twilight and her friends who restrained him. They dragged him down into the cellar where the paramilitary group had been hiding. He screamed from fear and struggled. They pulled him into an old bathroom. He tried to hang onto the wall to stop them but they pried his hands off the wall.
They quickly threw him on the floor and held him down. They stripped him nude as he begged for mercy which they were not going to show him.
The man was screaming. Twilight gagged him with her hand and Celestia quickly came over with a rope. He was shaking his head while he tried to beg. Celestia put down the jar and they stripped the man. They quickly found out that his name Rictor and he had read about the changeling army that had invaded Equestria once and that gave him the idea. They began to stab him repeatedly
Twilight grinned as she got enjoyment out of watching him writhe in agony and despair. Celestia felt satisfied as she got revenge against the man who tormented Equestria. They then broke his legs and quickly threw him outside where a guard beheaded him.
Twilights friends and Celestia went outside and saw that they would have to rebuild Equestria they knew it was going to be a lot of work but they knew that they were going to succeed.
Soon after they killed the man Celestia's guards quickly killed the remaining paramilitary forces. They hanged some while they shot others while giving then no trials what's so ever as what they had down was so awful that they deserved no second chances.
Twilight and her friends were reunited with Spike as Spike had disappeared during the invasion. They quickly went to work rebuilding Equestria. Shining Amour helped rebuild the entire land. They were happy that they had won the war. They also went around and helped save displaced citizens who got lost during the war.
After a few months the rebuilding of Equestria started to go smooth. It would take years to rebuild but they knew that they could do it. They went around and helped people find shelters others medical treatment for the wounds they had received during the war.
The citizens were so glad at what the mane six had done for Equestria. They had realized that the paramilitary group had done more damage than what Tirek did. He was also labeled as the worst villain Equestria had as he ranked among Discord, Tirek and Queen Chrysalis.
They made sure to teach about the event in schools and they put the event in Equestria books history. Twilight and her friends were considered heroes. The event quickly got a painted mirror depicting it inside Cantelot Castle along with other big events that dealt with Twilight and her friends.
They made memorials to the victims who were killed by the paramilitary force. They had done more research into the group and had realized that the group had been around for a lot longer than expected as the group grew in hatred of Celestia for several years.
They had managed to overthrow Celestia's monarchy and tortured and killed it's civilians. It was considered the worst event in Equestria history. Celestia made a law that approved a center to be built which would educate future generations of people about what had happened.
Twilight and her friends were glad to have their rebuilt homes back. They had the friendship castle rebuilt and they restored the elements of harmony into new forms with new designs with the help of the tree of harmony and some ancient magic they had found.
Twilight was so glad to see her parents and Spike again. Pinkie Pie met up with her family on her rock farm again and was able to see the Apple family once again which were her other cousins. They were glad that not all of their family had been killed. They were sad that some were subjected to harsh labor laws under ground. They were able to deal with what happened to them through therapy.
Twilight and her friends were happy that they had saved Equestria. From this war they had learned that love would always win over evil. Evil would always lose no matter what evil people did they would always fail. They had all learned that love was powerful and great and in the end they would be comforted by its power and its message of hope and piece would always resonate with the Equestrian people
