We went to a restaurant and got teleported
“So, where are we going to again?” One figure, about fifteen, asked another. They were 5’6, with shaggy red hair, amber colored eyes that seemed to go red in certain lightings, black cargo pants and a white sleeveless shirt, black and red sweater, wears socks and sandals, white socks.
“I told you before, we’re going to the con in town,” the other said. She was 5’7 with white hair, which was dyed, that’s tied into a pony tale. She wore a black t-shirt with a Dragon Age 2 logo on it with some jeans. Her green eyes looked over at her passenger with a frown. “This makes it the tenth time, you owe me a drink now.”
“Better not be any alcohol, you’re on your own then.” The first said, smirking at the second.
“I was thinking a root beer, wise ass,” the woman said with a smirk of her own.
“Alright, I could do that,” The first said. “Hey, I’m getting hungry, can we stop somewhere?”
“Sure, what do you want?” she asked them. “I see some fast food places, or do you want to sit down?”
“The cons in like, five hours, we can sit.” The first said. The driver nodded and the two of them looked around for a restaurant to go to. They decided to go to a place called The Doghouse. The female parked her truck and the two went inside.
Inside, there was strangely no one else but a single person. They looked like they were eighteen, and had black hair, a mix-matched sweater that’s green and a big tan stripe on one side, blue and pink stripes on the other. They seemed to be manning the register, and while it looked like you could get food here, there was a bunch of stuff on the walls that was also on sale.
“Odd never went to a restaurant like this,” the female said with a frown.
“Well, it looks cool, let’s order something,” The first said with a carefree expression. The female rolled her eyes as the two walked up to the counter.
“Excuse me,” the woman said to the being behind the register.
“Yeah?” They asked, turning to the two. While their left eye was covered, the right seemed… off in some way.
“This place serves food, yes?” The female asked before looking around. “Seems a bit empty.”
“Yeah, it’s a slow day,” The being said with a shrug. “Whatcha want?”
“If we’re ordering here then…” The female thought for a moment. “A burger with fries and some root beer with no ice,” she turned to the first being. “I think we order and go sit where ever.”
“Cool, can I have the same but with a milkshake?” The first asked.
“Sure, take a seat wherever.” The being said, walking to the back. The two of them turned and walked over to take a seat in a booth. They waited for a bit before the being returned with their drinks. After giving them the drinks, the being walked back into the back.
“See anything cool on the walls?” The first asked, looking around.
“Yeah,” the female smirked. “Guessing you did as well?”
“Yep,” The first said, smirking back. The female nodded as she drink her root beer.
“How much money do we have?” The first questioned.
“About two thousand,” the female said. “Been saving up for this con, want to get some souvenirs.”
“I got three,” The first said cheekily, sticking his tongue out at the second. The female rolled her eyes again with a chuckle.
“Always the cheeky bugger,” she said.
“It’s my job,” The first said simply. The female chuckled again. The two of them chatted as they waited for their food.
“So… what are you going as again?” the female asked.
“Not really going as anything, just threw this stuff on,” The male said simply.
“Just threw the stuff on, that’s what you said for everything that involves costumes,” the female said.
“I didn’t really have a costume ready… I forgot we were going,” The male said, shrugging.
“Remind me to put a sticky note on your head, maybe you won’t forget then,” she said with a smirk.
“Alright, sure,” He said with a straight face. The female laughed at this and the two continued talking for some time. At that moment, the cashier walked up with their food, putting them down.
“Alright, anything else ya want?” The being asked.
“Not really, those items on the walls look cool,” the female said.
“Whatcha want from the wall then?” They asked, crossing their arms.
“They're for sale? I thought they’re decoration?” the female asked the cashier.
“Nope, everything on the walls for sale,” The being said. “Really should put a sign-up…” They added in a mumble. The female looked over at the male and raised an eyebrow. Asking them a silent question.
“Alright… how about that strange white locket?” The male asked, pointing.
“Sure, you want anything?” The being asked her.
“That two handed sword is nice,” she said, nodding to the large two handed dark gray sword with a black and red wrap handle. The being nodded, before walking over and grabbing the locket and the sword, bringing the two over to their customers. The female's eyes widen at the sword in front of her, it looked real. “How much for them?”
“For everything so far, one thousand,” The being said. “It’s mostly the sword,” They added.
“Sweet,” the female said as she pulls out her money. “I got it,” she added, looking at the male.
“You sure?” The male asked. She nodded.
“The sword cost the most out of the two things, so it’s fair,” she said as she handed the money to the cashier.
The cashier took the money and walked over to the register, putting it in. They then pushed a button, trapping the two in place. The woman blinked and tried to move but couldn't.
“The hell!” she yelled, growling at the cashier.
“Hope you liked the food and stuff, time to send you two on your way,” The cashier send, waving. “Thanks for the business though, it was almost enough for me to let you two stay here, bye!”
As they said this, another button was pressed, the two beings being sent through a portal.
“Sis, you okay?” The male asked his sister, shaking her. The female groaned and opened her eyes.
“Ugg… what hit me?” she asked.
“Dunno, but we got sent into some cave or something,” The male said, fiddling with the chain around their neck. The locket on it seemed to have vanished, but they kept the necklace part on anyway. The female sat up and groaned, her body felt like it was burning.
“A cave?” she asked, starting to look around. She saw that they were in some cave. For some reason, she felt annoyed by this. The male went to help his sister up, grabbing her arm. She hissed in pain as she pulled away.
“Are you alright?” He asked worriedly. She panted.
“Oww… what the fuck was-” she stop as she looked at her arm. She had tattoos that she didn’t have before. She looked at her body and saw that one, it was somewhat revealing, and two, there were familiar tattoos on her.
“So… the ears are new,” The brother commented. She blinked at this and felt for her ears. They were more pointed than before as she paled.
“Is there a mirror or something that I can see my reflection?” she asked.
“We’re in a cave,” He deadpanned. She shot him a glare, which seemed more menacing than before. She was about to say something but she doubled over, her head pounding with pain.
“Are you okay?” He asked, concerned. She didn’t answer, her head being filled with memories that aren’t her’s, yet are. She saw beings that did things to her, made her feel pain. This lasted for ten minutes before it died down.
“God damn it all,” she cursed. She pulled her hands away and looked at them. “Something… happened to me… I don’t know if it’s real or not.”
“Can you describe it to me?” Her brother asked in concern.
“There were… beings… they did things to me… made me get tattoos and-” she stopped as she realized what was going on. “Great, I became the female version of Fenris.”
“I wish I could hug you, but it’d probably just hurt…” ‘Fenris’s’ brother said a little sadly. She looked over at them for a moment.
“Thanks for the thought Xel,” she said.
“You’re welcome,” He said, smiling a little sadly. The two of them soon stood up, which made the female groan at this and looked at Xel for a moment.
“Fine, I’ll bare the pain for a bit,” she said as she offered Xel a hug. He took it, being careful to not touch her skin or tattoos. She smiled at this before pulling away. “Well, now we’re here, better figure out where here is.”
“Yeah, that’d be best,” He said, looking a little perkier. The two of them started to make their way out of the cave. At this point, Xel noticed his sister’s outfit. It showed off her tanned legs and breasts a bit more than normal.
“U-uh, sis, clothes,” He said, blushing a tiny bit and politely looking away.
“Yeah, I noticed,” she said with a frown. “Think the cashier was a perv for this?”
“I… think that’s just what Fenris wears, isn’t it? If he was a female,” Xel said, shrugging. The female nodded but frowned.
“Doesn’t mean I don’t like it,” she grumbled.
“We can find you more clothes once we find people,” Xel said. The female said nothing but silently hoped for some normal clothes. The two of them headed out of the cave and now stood in a forest. It was sunny out and they heard some birds chirping.
“What, that fuck, is up with all this colour?” the female asked, looking around.
“My eyes hurt,” Xel groaned, covering his face. The female looked around until she saw a familiar object; the sword they bought.
“Well, not everything is bad,” she said before walking over and pulling the sword out from the ground.
“Seriously, I can’t open my eyes it’s too bright,” Xel said, eyes shut tight, “What happened?”
“That sword I bought, it's here,” she said.
“Cool… can you lead me until my eyes stop aching from the pastel? I don’t wanna open them and hurt them more,” Xel said, reaching blindly for her.
“Fine, just let me- HEY!” she yelled as they grabbed one of her breasts. She hit him over the head.
“Ow!” They exclaimed, whimpering. “What’d I do?!”
“Got a hand full of my boob, you asshat!” she yelled.
“Sorry…” He trailed off, turning his head away. “But I kinda can’t see right now.”
She groaned at this before taking his hand in hers. “Let's just get going.”
The two of them headed out, the female leading Xel into the forest. He was quiet the whole time, simply trying to keep up with her and not fall. After some time the two stopped for a breather and Xel opened his eyes. They still hurt, so he quickly closed them again with a wince.
“They still hurt?” she asked him.
“Yeah…” He said in a soft voice. Xel heard his sister sit down beside him.
“We'll get through this, we always do,” she reassured him. He leaned against her, shaking a little, afraid. She pulled him into a hug, ignoring the burning pain she was getting.
“I-i wanna go home…” He mumbled shakily.
“I don't know if we can,” she said. “But we're together, that's a good thing.”
“Yeah…” He said, smiling a little. They stayed like that before standing up.
“Feeling better?” she asked. He nodded, smiling still and stealing a quick hug. This had his head between her breasts. She twitched a bit but let it slide, just this once.
He seemed to realize where he was, quickly letting go and backing up. “S-s-sorry!” He exclaimed.
“It's… fine,” she breathed. “Let's just keep moving.” He nodded, timidly holding a hand out to her. She took it and lead him forward. As the two went, snarls were heard, bushes near them rustling.
The female Fenris heard this and stopped Xel. “Did you hear that?”
“Y-yeah,” He said nervously, sounding scared. “What was it?”
“I don't know,” she said as she reached up for her weapon. “Can you open your eyes to climb up a tree?”
He tried so, wincing in pain with a hiss, but quickly ran to a tree and climbed up it, vanishing into the top of it. The female turned as she pulled her sword out. It was odd, since she had never held a sword before, but it felt like she was trained to fight with it.
A giant wolf like thing came out of the bush and it growled at me. It reminded the female of one of the Beowolves from RWBY, it sure look like one other than glowing green eyes. It had more spikes coming off it and just look more demonic. The woman gripped her sword and waited for it to attack.
It lunged at her with speeds that were inhuman. She moved my sword in front of herself to block its attack and it knocked her back. She grunted in pain before she ducked under one of its swipes and saw it took a chunk out of the tree. She rolled out of the way of the beast, away from the tree with Xel in. The wolf turned to her and charged. The woman then brought up her sword and swung it in a diagonally at the wolf. The blade went into the wolf's shoulder and it let out a roar. One of its claws slashed at the woman's side which it started to burn. She grunted in pain as it grabbed her and threw her into a tree. She gaspped in pain and fell onto the ground dazed. She looked up and saw the wolf coming closer. She painted as there was blood oozing out of her side as she slowly got up. She gritted her teeth as she sheakley held her sword. Her body reacted to this as the tattoos began to glow a pale blue and she start to feel… lighter.
She charged at the at the wolf and swung her blade upwards, cutting it’s arm off as she spun around to slash at the wolf's stomach. It fell to its knees as the woman did something that she felt she done before; her hand glowed as she thrusted it into the wolf's chest. It roared in pain as the woman grabbed something inside and ripped it out of it.
She watched the wolf fell sideways and turned into dust and mist. In her hand was the black heart of the wolf as it too faded away. She painted a bit before falling down and clutching her side in pain. She started spouting curses in a different language as the pain returned to her.
“I-is it over?” Her brothers frightened voice called. He simply heard his sister groan in pain as she held her side. He quickly climbed down the tree, blindly stumbling over to her. “A-are you okay?”
“No…” she groaned a bit. The wound was slowly healing but it still hurt like hell for her. “The hell was- oh wait, you can’t see.”
“Y-yeah,” He said, squirming. She looked up at him before slowly pushing herself up to a sitting position.
“Well… weird demonic werewolf aside, this place is weird,” she informed him.
“We need to get somewhere safe,” He said urgently. She nodded and slowly, and painfully, stood up and took Xel’s hand. The two of them headed out into the forest to search for a place to rest. As they ran, they came across a cottage. The female panted a bit from the pain as she was more pale than normal.
"A… cottage… hope there’s… someone there,” she panted in pain. He nodded, and the two quickly went over, the brother knocking on the door. It took a bit until the door opened and the woman saw… something.
It was a pony, anthro pony with wings. It had yellow fur and a long pink mane. It’s cyan eyes looked at the two in front of it.
“You gotta be kidding me,” the female said as she grunted in pain. Xel didn’t see what’s going on but he heard the door open in front of him.
“H-hello, can you help us, please? My sisters hurt,” Xel said.
“Umm… uhh.. Oh,” the pony in front of them stuttered until she saw the wound in the woman's side. “H-here, let m-me help you i-in.”
The pony reached out and took the female side and helped Xel carry his sister into the cottage. The two set the female down on the couch as she panted. Her breath came much quicker than normal.
“S-stay with me, please,” Xel whimpered to her, looking extremely worried. The pony went over to to one of her cupboards and pulled out some roots, and a descaling agent. She turned the roots into a paste and mixed the agent together to make a poultice. She took it over to the other to and slowly applied it to the females wound. She winced in pain but slowly the pain died down and her breathing went to normal.
"She’ll be fine in a bit,” the pony said. “Umm… is there… something wrong with your eyes?”
“They h-h-hurt to look a-at the colors around,” He told her simply. The pony nodded before walking over to the cupboard and made some sort of potion. This one was a blueish colour. She walked over to Xel and hands it to him.
“H-Here, this might h-held… i-if that’s alright with you,” she said.
“T-thanks…” Xel said, holding his hand out for it. The pony gave him the potion, Xel quickly drinking it. The potion tasted bad, kinda like cold medicine. He shook his head as the liquid went into his stomach.
He felt his eyes tingle a little, opening them. The pastel colors were now at a bearable level to him, which made him smile. “Thank you,” He said. He saw the being in front of him as the pony smiled and nodded.
“Is she going to be okay?” He asked, looking at his sister. The mare nodded again, looking at the elf who’s now sleeping on her couch. “Good… I’ll be napping, then,” He said, before passing out from the day's events.
A few hours later, the next day
Xel woke up from his sleep and saw his sister still sleeping with a blanket on her. He saw that he too had a blanket over him. Keeping it wrapped around himself, he walked over, getting in next to her and snuggling against his sister for comfort. She muttered something but didn’t say anything.
Xel smiled, about to fall back asleep. He then heard something coming from the back that delayed him falling back to sleep. Sitting up, he looked to the source of the noise. He headed the sound again and went towards where it was coming from. Xel walked into the kitchen and out of the window she saw the mare that helped him and his sister is out there with animals around her.
He tilted his head, simply observing. He watched her feed the animals, talk to them, and just generally taking care of them. She had a big smile on her face as she did this.
“Hey, morning,” He suddenly decided to call. This made the mare yelp in surprise before looking at Xel.
“O-o-o-oh, um… m-morning,” she stuttered.
“So… how long until my sis is better?” Xel asked her.
“I-In an hour or t-two,” she said, pulling her mane in front of her to hide herself. “T-the poultice isn’t r-really that strong… sorry.”
“That’s fine, back where we come from that kinda wound would take… longer,” He said simply. She shifted a bit.
“If it was any other, it would have been a death sentence, I’m surprised she lived through a Grimm attack,” she whispered.
“Grimm?” He questioned. She nodded.
“Monsters,” she whispered. She looked around her. “Umm… I need to to go tend to my animal friends, I hope you don’t mind…”
“Alright,” He said, walking back to his sister. When he got back he saw her sitting up with a groan.
“Ugh,” she moaned in pain. Xel immediately was at her side, looking worried. She simply wave him off. “I’m fine, just… sore.”
“You didn’t even have ‘fun’ last night,” Xel tried to joke, attempting to lighten the mood.
“Yeah, the dull pain in my side stopped me,” she snarked back with a smirk.
“Like that would,” Xel commented. The elf playfully pushed Xel.
“Shut up,” she said. Xel laughed, smiling at his sister. The two laughed before the elf frown.
“Man, that wolf thing was messed up, looked a lot like a werewolf with white spikes on its body,” she said with a sigh.
“I was told they’re called ‘Grimm’,” Xel informed her. She looked at him for a moment.
“A werewolf called Grimm, getting an RWBY fib here,” she said quickly.
“Maybe… why were we sent here though?” Xel questioned. The elf shook her head.
“I don’t know,” she informed.
“Maybe we could find out if anything's going on?” Xel suggested. The elf nodded before laying back down.
“Yeah, but for now I’m resting, still sore and tired,” she told him.
“Okay,” He said, getting on the couch with her and snuggling against her.
“Still can’t get over this snuggling thing still, huh?” she asked him.
“I… think these are special circumstances,” He said in a small voice. She sighed at this.
“True,” she said before staring up at the roof of the place. She raised an eyebrow. “By the way, I have to ask you something.”
“What is it?” He asked.
“I was going to ask before we left the house, but why did you have a dress in your room?” the elf asked him.
“O-oh… w-well, I’m… kinda both?” He said uncertainly, scared of her reaction. She simply rolled her eyes.
“I already knew that,” she said. “Just thought you were leaning more male side of things… unless you’re having second thoughts.”
“S-sometimes I… just feel more girly,” He said with a shrug. “And did mom and dad tell you? I don’t remember telling you…”
“I was adopted, remember,” she said giving him a smirk. “But I don’t mind having a little sis, with you and shopping it’s hard to tell.”
“O-okay… maybe w-when we get a house, I’ll be your little sis for a day,” Xel said to her, hugging her with the blanket. The Elf hugged him back. They laid there before falling asleep for a few hours.
The elf snored as she turned over. She then caused herself to fall off the couch with a loud thud.
“Ow~,” she groaned.
“Big sis?” Xel questioned groggily, peeking over the side of the couch.
“I’m okay, just breaking my nose… again,” she said, pushing herself up off the ground.
Xel helped her up, making sure to not touch her skin. The elf rubbed her nose and grumbled a bit.
“I need railings so I don’t fall off,” she grumbled.
“We need to get you a crib,” Xel joked, chuckling. The elf looked at him for a moment.
“Maybe,” she said. “So… horse people… didn’t the mare look familiar?”
“Dunno, I’ve been on my laptop for the last couple months, haven’t watched TV,” Xel said, shrugging.
“Hmm, well, might as well give her our names, she did help us,” the elf said.
“I guess,” Xel said with a shrug. As he said that the door opened and the mare from before walked in with a worried look. “Hi!” He greeted cheerfully.
“Oh!... umm… h-hi,” she greeted shyly.
“What are you doing?” he asked curiously.
“Umm…” she looked over and peeked out of the window. “Hiding really… Oh! Are you feeling okay?” she asked the elf.
“Better than before.” the elf answered.
“What are you hiding from?” Xel asked. The mare shifted a bit.
“M-my friend… she kinda went insane and is trying to help other ponies for her friendship letter… oh my, I forgot to ask you both your names… I’m sorry,” the mare said sadly.
“It’s okay, I’m Xel,” The currently identifying as a male said, holding his hand out, “Nice to meet you.”
The mare timidly took his hand and shook it.
“H-hello, my name is…” she muttered the last part.
“Sorry, what was that?” Xel asked patiently. She muttered again, a little louder. “Louder please,” Xel said.
“...F-Fluttershy…” she squeaked.
“That’s a nice name you have there, Fluttershy,” He said kindly. The mare blushed a bit from this.
“T-thank you…” she said softly. “And… yours?”
“Viriola,” the elf informed her.
“Nice to meet you two,” she said with a smile.
“So… how long till we can go out?” Xel asked.
“Umm… anytime really,” Fluttershy said as she looked at the door.
“You sure? I don’t want to run into anything bad,” Xel said.
“Umm… defined bad…” the mare asked.
“There was a werewolf thing we ran into, it’s what gave Viriola her injury,” Xel explained to the shy mare.
“Well, not that, ”she informed him. “Or any Grimm in town, if that’s what you mean.”
“Oh, okay,” Xel said, sounding relieved.
“Yes… fighting Grimm would be bad,” Viriola said grimly. “I prefer my body not getting ripped apart.”
“Me too,” Xel said.
“Well, if you need anything, I’ll be here…” the mare shifted a bit before leaving the two alone.
“So, should we try going to town?” Xel asked his sister. His answer came from the sound of the elfs stomach growling.
“That’s a yes,” she said as she grabbed her sword. “Come on, let's find some food or something.”
“Should we ask the mare for money? What if they don’t take ours here?” Xel asked. The elf frowned at this.
“I don’t know-hey!” she pulled out a leather bag that wasn’t there before. “Where the hell did I get this?!?”
“What’s in it?” Xel asked. Viriola opened the bag and saw gold coins in it. “Did… our money turn into this?” Xel guessed.
“Maybe, there’s a lot here…” she started counting the ones she can see. “I think there’s a gold coin for each dollar… and I had about a thousand left so a thousand coins.”
“I had my full three, do I have a… yep,” Xel said, bringing out his own bag.
“So we have four thousand together, I guess we don’t have money problems for now,” Viriola told Xel.
“Yeah, let’s head into town now,” Xel said. The two of them headed out of the cottage. The two saw other ponies going on in their daily lives. They did saw some of them staring at them and whispering. Viriola frowned and got more annoyed that some of them were unicorns staring at her, but she didn’t know why.
Xel was more nervous, sticking close to his sister. As they continued on and more and more of the ponies looked at them, the two found a small restaurant that went by the name ‘Bloodstone Templar’.
“Nice name… I think,” Viriola muttered.
“I dunno…” Xel said, not liking the look. The two of them walked into the place and looked around. It was dark, cozy, something like a coffee shop for brooding wizards. There was thirteen booths, thirteen tables with chairs, thirteen pillars that hold up the the roof of the place which are placed throughout the room, making the path different every time someone walks. There were two old stallions in one of the booths playing chess while smoking pipes. Over by the counter cleaning a mug was a large, ashen gray stallion with an olive coloured mane.
“This place is cozy,” Viriola said simply. Xel looked around at the place before answering.
“I’m still nervous…” Xel mumbled, not liking the place. The elf shrugged before the two walked over to the stallion who’s cleaning the mug. He looked at them with gray eyes.
“What having?” he asked, nodding at the board with the food. Most of it was vegetarian but the two did see some meat meals on there as well, only beside them it said ‘out of stock’.
“Do you have french fries?” Xel asked shyly. The stallion nodded. “Medium please,”
The stallion grunted before looking at the elf.
“I’ll have the same,” she ordered. The stallion grunted again before turning over to what looked like a deep fryer and started it. Viriola and Xel looked around and went over to a booth.
Instead of sitting across, like he normally would, he sat next to her, not wanting to be alone on the other side. The elf saw this and pulled him into a hug.
“It’s okay,” she whispered. He leaned into the hold, shaking slightly. The two stayed there until the stallion was finish making them their food and walked over to them.
“Here,” he said, putting the bowls down for them. “Just let you two know, next time you come here, you’ll have to get the food yourselves.”
“Right…” the elf replied. The stallion walked away from them to get back to his counter.
Xel started nibbling on fries, silent now. Viriola ate her fries without talking as well. All was heard in the building was the occasional sound of one of the stallions moving a chess piece on a chessboard. “So… now what?” Xel questioned.
“Don’t know,” the elf said. “I just don’t know”

Why is everything going crazy? A dragon, that’s why.
“So, how are we gonna get somewhere to live?” Xel asked his sister, the two having just left the restaurant.
“I don’t know…” the elf said. She turned to see the ponies were still staring at them. This just annoyed her more. “TAKE A DAMN PICTURE FOR FUCK SAKES! IT WOULD LAST LONGER!!!”
The ponies jumped at the shouting and rushed off to do what they’re supposed to do. Some of them did take pictures. Xel flinched at the shouting in his ear, hiding in his shirt a little. She fumed a bit before the two started walking again. She was muttering under her breath as she walked with Xel.
“S-sis?” Xel asked, a little scared. The elf looked down at him and softened a bit.
“Sorry, I don’t know why I’m pissed a bit,” she shook her head a bit. “Maybe I’m more short fused with things or something.”
“D-didn’t your cosplay hate mages or something?” Xel asked. “Maybe that’s why?”
“Something like that… but I’m just pissed at everyone around me… other than you I mean,” she said quickly.
“They’re supposed to be magic ponies, I remember…” Xel trailed off. As he said that there were some yelling coming from in front of them. They saw a large group of ponies rushing towards a stallion with something in his hand. There was a magical pull from it that tried to get the two to chase after it, but the two shook it off.
“The hell was that?” The elf asked.
“Dunno, let’s stay away from it,” Xel suggested. As he said that the chase turned into a giant fight that caused the thing in the stallions hand to fly out of his hand, right in front of the two. The elf picked it up and saw it was an old, used doll of a pony. She felt the pull to want it so much that she’ll do anything for it. She frowned and shook it off again.
“All this, over a stupid doll with a spell on it? Magic is a pain in the-” she stopped when she saw the hoard of pony people charging at her. “Ahh shit.”
Right before they tackled her, she pushed Xel out of the way. He fell onto the ground and watch the ponies dogpile on his sister. “VIRIOLA!” He shouted, after getting up, eyes wide as he was reaching for her before he fell on his knees, shaking. He then noticed that the sky turned to night and there was a loud voice calling out for someone named Twilight Sparkle.
He turned, to see the seven ponies. One of them he knew was Fluttershy, which he met at her cottage. There was another one like her, a pony with wings, but this one had blue fur and a rainbow mane. She wore a black tank top and blue sports shorts. Beside her was a unicorn with white fur, a styled purple mane, and wearing a fancy business suit of some kind that showed off her cleavage a bit.
Next to her was a normal pony wearing farmer's clothes; a green plaid that showed off her midsection and a brown coat with some jean shorts and cowboy boots. She had orange fur and a blonde mane with a cowboy hat on her head. Next was another normal pony with pink fur and mane wearing a darker pink t-shirt that hugged her body tightly and also some jean shorts. They all surround a unicorn with purple fur and a purple and pink mane. She wore what looks like a librarian outfit but it had rips, tears, and gunk on it. Her mane was had strands of hair sticking out in every direction and had a twig in it as well.
In front of her was a very large pony with white fur and a mane that looked like an aurora. She wore a flowing white dress with the symbol of the sun on it. She had a crown on her head and also a horn and wings. She was glaring down at the purple unicorn, which made her whimper sadly.
Xel tilted his head, confused, but didn’t really care for them, turning to the spot his sister was and whimpering. He sat there until he felt something coming from the giant pile of ponies, also the feeling to get away from it.
He quickly did so, backing up. As he did he watched as the pile explodes with a pale blue light. He saw his sister standing in the middle of the explosion after it died down and glowing pale blue; kinda like a wraith. She was holding the doll in her fist.
"B-big sis!” Xel cried, running over and hugging her. She blinked at them then at the doll. Her pale blue aura made a purple spark shoot out of the doll and smacked into the purple unicorn.
“Ow!” she yelled. The elf looked at the doll and felt no magic from it, so she tossed it over her shoulder. Xel squeezed his sister tightly, trembling.
“This is what I get for grabbing a doll,” Viriola mumbled under her breath. She put her hand on top of Xel’s head with a smile. “It’s okay, I’m okay.”
Xel whimpered again, a little sob escaping him, clutching her tighter. She sighed as she saw the large winged unicorn walked over to the two.
“That… that was lyrium… how did you use raw lyrium?” she asked the elf.
“I don’t know but… who the hell are you?” The elf asked. Right before the pony asked there was a loud explosion that shook the land. The sky over Canterlot seemed to cloud over as a shape burst out of the palace and flew around.
“No! Not now!” the princess yelled as she flapped her wings and flew quickly towards that shape in that sky. The other ponies saw this and rushed off, leaving the other two standing there.
“Uhh… what just happened?” the elf asked out loud.
“I-i dunno,” Xel said, sounding scared.
“Well… I’m getting the feeling that we shouldn’t stick around, so let’s-” she was interrupted by a roaring sound and a large dragon crashing down in front of them. “OH COME ON!”
Xel let out a whimper of fear, backing up some. The dragon got up from the ground and roared. It looked demonic in nature and to the elf, she saw that it looked like an Archdemon. This only pissed her off.
“You know what, fuck this,” she said as she let Xel go and walked forward towards the dragon. “I came to this fucking world by some weird fucking guy with a fucking weird sweater,” she pulled out her sword and dragged it behind her. “Got attacked by a fucking Grimm, which fucking hurt, got fucking dog piled by some fucking anthro ponies, and now there’s a fucking Archdemon that’s all fucking pissed and stuff. So you know what!” She stood in front of the dragon with two hands on her sword and was glowing. “FUCK YOU!”
With that, she swung her blade at the Archdemon and the force of her blade and the lyrium coursing through her made the dragon stagger a bit from the hit.
The dragon shook its head and growled at the elf. She simply taunted it with a ‘Bring it, ugly’.
It roared at her and charged, it then swiped its claw at her. She blocked it with her sword and the glow around her did as well. She pushed it back and cut into the claw of the dragon. It roared in pain as it breathed fire at her. She ran under it and slashed at its underbelly. Black blood poured out of the dragon as it belly flopped down, trying to crush the elf. She rolled out of the way and felt energy coursing through her before it came out as an explosion of spirit energy. It knocked the dragon back and stunned it. She took another few swipes at it as the Archdemon tried to crush her with its claw. She rolled out of the way again, just as it tried to bite at her. She placed her sword between her and its mouth and held her ground from it.
As this was going on Xel noticed a light from his left. He looked over and saw the seven ponies from before. Six of them were floating in the air as he felt some kind of magic coming off of them. He watched as a rainbow beam shoot out from them and towards both the dragon and his sister. Viriola looked over and saw this coming.
“Oh for fuck-” she yelled as the beam hit her. Xel watched in horror as the beam engulfed her and the dragon. There was a pale blue and dark green energy shoot back at the six and a large explosion erupted. He covered his face and saw six objects shoot out into the sky in different directions. He turned back at where the dragon was and saw that it wasn’t there.
He didn’t care for that, however. “V-viriola?” He called, panicking a little, looking around. He found her laying on the ground, eyes open, not moving. “B-big sister?” He questioned in a small voice, kneeling at her side, trembling.
“I’m not moving,” she said. “I’m not moving, if I’m not moving then nothing will happen.” He looked a little relieved that she was alive, before he wrapped his arms around her, trembling and sobbing. “This won’t help, I’m still not moving from where I was… maybe they won’t see me if I stay here.”
“I-i t-thought you w-were dead,” Xel sobbed, holding her tighter. She sighed and wrapped her arm around me.
“Takes more than that to stop me,” she said as she saw the alicorn looked down at them. “Ahh hell,”
Viriola, Xel, the mane six, and the princess were sitting down in the Golden Oaks Library. The elf was a little ticked that she had to move to someplace else, but she knew laying out in the open won’t do anything for her.
Xel was still clutching her tightly, refusing to let go. Fluttershy gave the elf some more of the stuff she used on Viriola before.
“So… let me get this straight, that Archdemon is really your sister, who's been corrupted by the Fade, which infused some of its essences into the creatures of Grimm, and there are demons around,” the elf summed it up.
“Yes,” the Alicorn answered, who's name was Princess Celestia. “And the only thing to cure its corruption is to use the Elements of Harmony. But now, after that battle, the elements flew off to who knows where.”
“Great…” the elf grumbled. Xel scooted closer to his sister, afraid, and starting to get a bit overwhelmed, with everything that’s going on.
“Look, I know it's hard, but I have to ask you that maybe-”
“First off,” The elf cut the princess off. “It's been a long day, I'm sore and wanting to go to bed.”
“I… see, very well, we'll speak more tomorrow,” the princess said as she stood up. The purple unicorn, whose name was Twilight and liking much better after the princess talked to her, stood up.
“I'll get some pj's for you two,” she said before running up the stairs. The rest of the mane six, who gave the two their names, left with saying goodbye. The princess soon left as well, saying that she'll come tomorrow to see her sister and how she's doing.
The two siblings walked up the stairs and flopped onto the bed with a sigh from the elf. Xel was silent, immediately curling up to her as much as he could. There was a knock at the door and Twilight walked in.
“Here's your pj's…” she told Viriola. “Umm, there isn't any male pj's that are big enough for you… sorry.” she apologized to Xel.
“Whatever's fine…” He said in a soft, tired voice. Twilight nodded and made one of her own purple pj's appeared.
“T-these are mine… they were a bit small for me so… I'm sorry,” she apologizes again.
“They’re fine,” He said, taking the pajamas. She nodded and left the two alone to change. Xel got a nightgown, and that made him blush a small bit, handing the normal pair over to his sister. Viriola didn't say anything as she took off her armor off and put on the pj's. She sighed at the feeling of them on her skin.
Xel quickly changed into the nightgown when her back was turned, and it looked like it covered just enough, and that's it. The elf turned and saw Xel in the nightgown.
“You're sure you don't want the pj's?” she asked.
“It’s fine…” He mumbled, embarrassed. The elf frowns some more and walked over to him.
“Really, if this is too embarrassing for you, we can switch,” she offered.
“I-i’m shorter, it w-wouldn’t cover you,” He reminded her.
“So, if others have a problem then they have to deal with me,” she said, crossing her arms.
“C-can… we just g-get to sleep, please?” He asked. The elf sighed.
“Yeah, let's do that,” she said as she climbed into bed. He curled into her immediately, with his back to her, before doing something that he always did whenever things got too much… sucked his thumb.
Viriola giggled playfully as she hugged him. His face flushed more, but he smiled, leaning back into the hug, needing it right now.
“Remember when you were eight and had that phase that you felt like a girl and had to prove it?” The elf asked.
“Yeah?” He questioned.
“Kinda feels like it again right now, doesn't it,” she said.
“A bit,” He said quietly. Viriola hugged him more, pressing her breasts into his back.
“Those were good times… kinda” she said.
“Kinda?” He questioned, looking back at her.
“Back then when we were little, I said that I'll protect my little sis, but now… it feels different,” she explained.
“Well… what if I wanna be your little sis again?” He questioned. She simply hugged Xel.
“That's up to you, I won't tell you who or what you should be,” the elf said.
“I wanna be your lil sis again,” He, rather she now, said, hugging her sister tightly. The elf smiled.
“Alright, sis…” she gave her a loving hug. Xel smiled, snuggling into her big sister before falling asleep.
Viriola woke up with Xel still sleeping. She chuckled softly before getting out of bed and headed down to get some food. As she walked down the hall, a door opened and a being walked out. She looked like a normal pony bit with dragon wings, claws, dark blue and black scales. She looked at the elf in silence.
“WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!!!” Viriola yelled.
“THAT'S MY LINE!!” the dragon pony yelled back. This caused the other residence to wake up and see what's going on. Xel ran down, changed already somehow, looking worried. She found Viriola and the Kirin now at each other's throats.
“Don't tempt me to blast you to the moon, elf!” the Kirin threatened.
“Bring it on, scaly butt!” the elf threatened back. Xel let out a whimper, getting her sister's attention. She softened a bit at the sight.
"Xel- gla!” she said as someone hit her and the Kirin over the head with a heavy book. The two fell down onto the ground with Twilight behind then with two large, heavy, books in her hands.
“No fighting in my home!!” she yelled. She noticed that the two were knocked out. “Whoops.”
“Big sis!” Xel cried with a distressed whimper, running over and putting her head in her lap.
“I'll take two fish two gooo~...” the elf said in a goofy way.
“Big sis…” Xel sighed, smiling slightly and hugging her. She looked up to see Twilight helping the Kirin, who was mumbling something about banana pie. Xel blinked in confusion at this, tilting her head. Twilight sighed.
“Princess Luna… even with the corruption…” she muttered.
“Corruption?” Xel asked. Twilight nodded as she tried to carry the princess. She almost fell over from the weight.
“Remember… that… dragon from… yesterday?” she asked, grunted a bit.
“Yeah?” Xel said. She pulled her sister up and tried to carry her.
“Well… you're… looking at it,” she explained. “Err… her.”
“How…?” Xel questioned, tilting her head. The two of them carried the two downstairs and dumped them on the couch.
“By the Maker… she's heavy…” Twilight looked at Xel with a look of panic. “Please don't tell her I said that.”
“Okay,” Xel said with a small giggle. Twilight sighed a bit before the two of them headed to the kitchen, where they had some toast, oats, and some fruit. Xel grabbed a toast, nibbling on it.
“Umm… is your sister… always this angry?” The unicorn asked.
“No, it’s just… been a hectic couple days,” Xel said. Twilight nodded as she ate her breakfast.
“It has been, say do you have a place to stay? You're welcome to stay here,” she offered.
“Really?” Xel asked. Twilight nodded.
“Of course, I'll talk to Rarity if she can get or make new clothes for you two.” she said.
“Thank you,” Xel said. Twilight smiled at her and continued eating. “So… how did that happen, the corruption?”
“No one really knows, but I believe that her dreamscape, or the Fade, corrupted her,” Twilight explained.
"Fade?” I questioned.
“Yes, it's a place where dreams lie, it's also where demons reside,” she explained.
“Demons?” Xel asked, blinking.
“Yes… I uhh, don't like to talk about them,” Twilight said, looking away.
“O-oh, okay…” Xel said, squirming. Twilight gave her a sheepish smile.
“Sorry, it's really a topic that involves a lot of talking and I'll bore you.” she explained.
“Okay,” Xel said. She got up, moving around the table to get something on the other side, when she tripped, grabbing onto Twilight for balance.
“Ahh!” Twilight yelled as the two of them fell onto the ground. Twilight groaned a bit before realizing that she's on top of Xel. “I-I’m sorry!”
Xel flushed, covering her face in embarrassment. Twilight was going moved off her and apologize, before realizing something. Xel was giving off a lot of magical energy that it was almost suffocating.
“You're… a mage?” she asked.
“No… I’m not?” Xel questioned, looking confused. “I don’t know any magic.”
“But there's a lot of magic power in you, I'm surprised that I didn't sense to before,” she told her.
“Really? How do I use it?” She asked, looking excited.
“Well, it will take a bit but… I could teach you some spells,” Twilight said, looking away from her.
“Please, I wanna be able to help my big sis,” Xel said, sounding eager. She noticed Twilight was blushing a bit.
“Uhh, s-sure, I'll be happy to t-teach you,” she stuttered.
“What’s wrong?” Xel asked the mare still on top of her.
“N-nothing!” she said before getting off of Xel. Xel got up, looking confused but eager. “Umm, we should see if your sister is awake yet.”
“Oh, okay,” Xel said, going to her sister and shaking her. Viriola mumbled a bit before opening her eyes.
“What… happened?” she asked.
“Are you okay? Head feel good?” Xel asked. The elf rubbed her head a bit.
“Yeah… what hit me?” she asked. Twilight looked away, whistling.
“Nothing, you're okay and that’s all that matters,” Xel said simply hugging her and squeezing. The elf smiled at this before the Kirin rose up from her slumber.
“Ugh, what… hit me?” she asked. She looked around before she locks eyes on Viriola.
“YOU!” they both yelled. They growled at each other before Twilight grabbed both of their ears.
“No fighting in my library,” she said in a stern tone, one that made the two stop.
Xel giggled, amused, hugging her sister tighter. The elf grumbled a bit.
“So… what happened when I was out?” she asked.
“Nothing,” Xel said with a shrug. Twilight cough a bit before asking the princess if she's hungry. She nodded and stood up. Xel noticed her sister staring at the Kirin; mostly the way her hips sway.
Xel giggled, elbowing her sister and wagging her eyebrows, looking at the Kirin, before back at her sister. She blushed a bit.
“W-what? She's a pain in the ass,” she said, crossing her arms.
“That why you were staring at hers?” Xel whispered teasingly.
“Shut up!” the elf said quickly. Xel erupted into giggles, laughing. Viriola grumbled a bit. “Pain in the ass sister of mine…”
“Does that mean you wanna look at mine too?” Xel asked teasingly, giggling.
“You're impossible,” the elf said. Xel giggled a bit more as Twilight and the princess' walk by them. The princess was heading back to Canterlot for the time being.
“Twilight said we could stay here,” Xel informed Viriola. Twilight looked at the two of them as she hearing her name called, seeing Xel idly shaking her hips, making the mare blush. The elf saw this and smirked a bit.
“That's nice,” she said as the princess left and the unicorn exit the room quickly. “Also, I'm not the one looking.”
“What?” Xel asked confusedly, tilting her head innocently.
"A certain… unicorn was looking,” the elf informed. Xel blinked at her before realizing who Viriola was talking about.
“So?” Xel asked, not quite getting it. The elf sighed.
“I'm not going to push it,” the elf stood up. “Now… what to do?”
“I dunno,” Xel said, shrugging. “We could hang out,” She added, sounding hopeful.
“Maybe…” the elf said before thinking about it. “We need new clothes so, there’s that.”
“Twi said a friend would get us new clothes I think,” Xel commented. The elf nodded.
“Alright, let’s put on what we had on and head out,” she said.
“One step ahead of you,” Xel said, sticking her tongue out. Viriola rolled her eyes before heading upstairs to changed.
As this was happening, Twilight walked in with some books. She put them down and blew off some dust.
“Well, this should do it,” she said before noticing Xel was still there. “Oh, is there something up?”
“Vi-vi is heading upstairs to change,” Xel explained.
“Okay, well then,” Twilight patted the few books she brought. “These are some basic magic books that involved the magic schools, they should help you get a better handle on your magic.”
“Thank you,” Xel said, taking the books, giving her a quick peck on the cheek as a thank you, blushing and walking away. Twilight was shocked at this so much that she froze in place. Her face reddened as she stood there.
Xel quickly hurried away, wondering why she’d done that to Twilight. Xel went outside and waited as Viriola came out of the tree.
“What did you do to the unicorn? She’s standing there frozen and blushing,” the elf asked.
“Nothing,” Xel lied terribly. “What do ya wanna go do?”
“Clothes,” the elf said, raising an eyebrow at Xel but didn’t say anything. “It’s better than wearing this all the time.”
“Okay, let’s go find Twis friend then,” Xel said. With that, the two headed out and searched for Twilight’s friend. After talking to some others, the found the place they were looking for and stood in front of the place.
“Well… this is an odd place,” the elf said, looking up at the building.
“It looks like a carousel,” Xel commented. The elf nodded before walking up to the door of the place and opening the door. The place inside had some rolls of clothing ready and some manikins in the windows of the place with different clothing on. There tending to the clothes was the unicorn from the other day.
“Be with you in just a-” the unicorn turned and saw them. “Oh my, it’s you two.”
“Yeah, it’s us,” the elf said, frowning a bit. “You’re… Rarity, right?”
“The one and only!” she said with a bit of flair to her.
“We’re here for clothes,” Xel said.
“Well, you come to the right place!” Rarity said, spreading her arms out to all the clothes. “I will say that when you leave the Boutique, you’ll be satisfied with what you got. Each and every one of these has been made by yours truly.”
“Right…” the elf said, rolling her eyes. She started to walk between the rows of clothes and started to pick some of them. Xel looked around as well but seemed to be having problems picking something.
“My dear, are you having troubles?” the fashionista asked her.
“Yeah…” Xel said.
“Well, what are you looking for?” she asked. Xel shrugged, she wasn’t too good at this stuff. Rarity looked her over for a minute before walking around her.
“Maybe walk around through the rows and see what kinds of clothes catches your eye. Xel nodded, and did so, grabbing seemingly random clothes, some for males, some for females, and some in-between. Overall she got some nice clothes. She took them to Rarity, who gave them a once over.
“Umm, some of these are for stallions,” she asked Xel, raising an eyebrow.
“I know,” Xel said simply. Rarity stared at her before shrugging.
“Well, everyone has their tastes,” she said as she took all the clothes to the counter and started to scan them. She picked up a nice purple dress and she smiled brightly. “Oh~, this is marvelous! Trying to catch someone's eye?”
“No, I just liked it,” Xel said honestly. Rarity raised and eyebrow before narrowing her eyes.
“Sure…” she said as she scanned it and continued to scan the others.
“What? I can’t just grab something that looks nice?” Xel asked, irritated.
“I’m not saying anything~,” The fashionista singsonged. Soon Viriola walked over with some clothes as well.
“So, found everything?” she asked her sister. Xel nodded irritatedly. The elf frowned a bit before looking at her clothes.
“Shit forgot something,” she said before heading back towards the clothes. Rarity looked over at her.
“If you don’t mind me asking, that elf, who’s she to you?” she asked.
“Sibling,” Xel said without hesitation. She blinked at her.
“Really? But… she’s an elf,” Rarity said as she put the clothes into a bag.
“So?” Xel asked.
“Well, it’s true that there are elves around, I heard that there's some in the Everfree, but… how to put this nicely… their, second class citizens to Equestria,” Rarity explained. “Them, and the other races.”
Xel frowned at this, a growl coming from her throat. Rarity shook her head.
“It's sad really, they were once…” she stopped with a frown.
“Let me guess, slaves,” Viriola said as she walked over to the two. Rarity’s ears flattened.
“Y-yeah,” she said. Viriola frowned at this.
“Why is this, exactly?” Xel snarled.
“I don't know the details, but…” The fashionista didn't say anything but the elf saw her hand tighten a bit.
“No need to explain, now how much do we need to pay?” she asked.
“Oh… uh, a hundred bits,” Rarity said. Viriola paid her and the two sisters walked out with their clothes.
“We’re changing the other elves situation eventually,” Xel said as soon as they were out of earshot to any ponies.
“Yeah…” Vi-Vi said. “I wouldn't be surprised if we see any elves in this Canterlot place.”
“I hope they don’t try to take you away,” Xel said, worried. The elf snorted.
“They can try,” she said.
“I don’t wanna be by myself…” Xel mumbled, hugging her. The elf sighed and ruffled her hair.
“Like I said, they can try. Not going to turn out in their favor though,” she said. Xel simply hugged tighter. Viriola sighed before looking over and seeing an ice cream shop. “Hey, want some ice cream?”
“Ice cream!” She cheered childishly, nodding. The elf chuckled before leading her sister over to the place and getting some ice cream. Soon, they walked out with ice creams in their hands.
“Ice cream~” Xel sing-song happily, licking the sweet. The elf chuckled a bit as she to eat her sweet. As the two walked, Xel saw a weapons shop and tilted her head, tugging her sister's sleeve before pointing at it.
“A weapons shop? This place seems so peaceful,” the elf said in a sarcastic tone.
“I wanna weapon, to defend myself,” Xel said. The elf looked at the weapons shop for a moment to think about it.
“I would say no but… I’m getting a feeling that this place is going to get hectic,” she said.
“Probably,” Xel said. With a nod, the two of them headed in the place. The place was spacious than what it look like from the outside, which made it looked cramped. There were weapons on the wall, one side had older practical weapons such as swords, daggers, bows, and what not. On the other side were more advanced looking weapons. What surprised Viriola was the being sitting behind the counter. It was a male elf, paying no mind to the two that walked in since there’s no bell.
Xel either didn’t notice or didn’t think about the cashier being an elf, look around for a weapon. As this was going on, Viriola walked up to the elf.
“Umm, excuse me,” she said.
“Hmm?” he said as the elf looked up. “Oh! Well, isn’t this a surprise, I never thought a see a Dalish elf out here.”
“Uhh, not part of the Dalish,” she said.
“Oh? But you kinda look the part, oh well,” he said as he stood up a bit. “Name’s Feren, owner of Feren weapons, from magic to Dust I’ll have something for you.”
“Uhh…” Viriola blinked at him.
“I know,” Feren sighed. “I need to work on it, so what can I do for you?”
“Just looking, maybe getting something.” the female said.
“Well if you need anything, just give me a shout,” he said with a smile. At that moment, Xel walked up to her sister holding a cane. It had a silver dragon claw holding a blue gem, on top of a slick black shaft.
“I’m guessing you’re getting that?” Viriola asked. Xel nodded eagerly, smiling at her sister.
“Uhh, how old are you miss?” Feren asked Xel.
“Seventeen,” Xel said, smiling.
“Oh, you just… look younger,” he said as he took the staff and pressed a few keys. “Okay, that’ll be two hundred bits even.”
Xel reached into her pouch, somehow managing to get two hundred without looking and handing the bits over.
“Okay then, here you are,” the male elf said as he handed the staff over. “Be careful with that, alright.”
“I will,” Xel promised, taking it and smiling. The two of them walked out of the building and finished their ice creams. “This looks so cool!” Xel said, holding the staff up.
“Just be careful with it,” Viriola said to her.
“I already said I would be,” Xel said with a huff, pouting.
“Hey, I’m allowed to worry,” the elf said, frowning.
“Cause you're my big sis,” Xel said with a happy smile. Viriola smiled at her and gave her a small hug.
“We should probably get back to Twilight's now,” Xel said after a minute. The elf nodded at her and the two headed back to the treehouse.
When they got there they found Twilight and a small purple dragon putting books on the shelves. “We’re back!” Xel said.
“Hello,” the dragon said as he put the next few book in the shelves as Twilight waved.
“So, what about that training?” Xel asked Twi.
“Training?” Viriola asked as she put down the bags.
“Twilight says I got a lotta magic, so I wanna learn to use it,” Xel told her big sister. For a moment Viriola frowned at the thought but shook her head.
“I see, well you’ll go do that,” she said as she headed upstairs to change clothes with her bag in hand.
Xel looked confused for a second, before shrugging and looking to Twilight. “So, training?” She asked eagerly.
“Huh? Oh, yes your training,” Twilight said as she hopped down from the step ladder. “Spike, mind finishing up for me?”
“Yeah yeah,” he said lazily as he simply continued.
“So, should we go outside for this or?” Xel asked, tilting her head.
“We’ll go out back, much safer out there,” Twi said as she leads the way. Xel simply followed, twirling the staff a little.
They walked out back of the place and Twilight turned to Xel with some books hovering. “So, what’s first?” Xel asked.
“Well, let’s start with the basic school,” Twilight said as one of the books floated down into her hand. It was a large deep red book. “Primal.”
“Alright, how do we start?” Xel asked eagerly, determined to learn magic. The crystal in her staff flashes red briefly.
“Well, first off a brief telling of this school,” Twilight said as she opened the book. “Mostly, when someone hears the word ‘Magic’ the Primal school would come into mind. It’s the school that deals with the elements, Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth, it’s the most basics of schools yet the hardest to master.”
“Why’s that??” Xel asked, tilting her head. Twilight shrugged.
“Can you stop the wind from blowing? Can you make Fire move on its own? Can you make water freeze on its own? Can you have Earth bend to your will? Most mages spend lifetimes learning how to master Primal and only some do,” Twilight explained.
“Oh, okay,” Xel said simply.
“Okay, so… the first thing we should try is fire, basic fire spell is to hold on in your hand,” Twilight lifted her hand up and a small flame sparked alive in her hand. “Just focus your magic at the palm of your hand and will it to make a flame.”
Xel nodded, holding her hand out and focusing. It seemed to take a minute before her staff glow an orange-red, and a large flame erupted. Twilight smiled at this and nodded.
“Is it hot in here, or is it just me?” Xel joked, watching the flame.
“Oh haha, very funny,” Twilight chuckled.
“So, what’s next?” Xel asked, watching the fire dance.
“Next is to dispel it,” Twilight said. She thrust her hand upwards and launched the flame upwards into the sky. Xel noticed that as she did that, her small breasts jiggled a bit.
Xel blushed, but copied Twilight, doing the same to her own fireball. It went up into the sky and exploded like fireworks. Twilight clapped at this.
“Very nice, but you didn't need to copy me. But you're better than most unicorns,” she chuckled a bit. “Most accidentally burn their clothes off, or others clothes.”
“Were you hoping I’d burn my clothes off?” Xel teased, blushing.
“N-no, that would be bad, with burns and … what not…” she said, blushing and looking away.
“S-so, what’s next?” Xel asked. The next few hours were spent learning some other spells of the Primal school. Even with some good control, Xel did slip up, leaving both her and Twi burnt, cold, and shocked by it.
“This is fun!” Xel said excitedly, even though her clothes were either burnt, soaked, or even torn in some places.
“Y-yeah,” Twilight said, tying her shirt so it didn't fall off, leaving her midsection exposed. Her skirt was somewhat burnt enough to show off her legs a bit more than normal.
“So, what next?” Xel asked eagerly.
“Umm, I think we're done for the day,” Twilight said with a chuckle.
“Aww…” Xel whined disappointedly.
“Don't be sad, you're really good at this, most would take months, even years to get where you are now,” Twilight praised.
Really?” Xel asked, beaming.
“Yup,” Twilight nodded. “You'll get the hang of this in time, but as is some would say you're amazing.”
“Thanks for your help so far,” Xel said.
“I'm happy to help,” Twilight said, now standing near Xel. Xel gave her another cheek kiss, blushing and rushing inside.
“Eep!” Twilight then froze in place and blushing. Spike came out to ask Twilight something but saw her frozen. He sighed.
“Not again,” he groaned before getting a dolly and rolled her inside.
The Magic of Dust and Lyrium
We get a mission, and a dog
“You did… what now?” Viriola asked Xel after she came back from training with Twilight.
“Trained in magic,” Xel repeated.
“I know that since you been going to her for the past week but, you flipped her over ass over tea kettle?” the elf asked, now realizing why the unicorn was dirty when she was walking in the building.
“Maybe,” She said, giggling. The elf stared at her.
“Right… so, how is the… magic training?” she asked.
“Going really good, look!” Xel said, summoning a small flame in her hand.
“Neat,” Vi-Vi said with a smile. She shifted a bit as she felt the anger rising in her from the magic. She growled a bit as she looked away.
“Big sister?” Xel asked worriedly, dispelling the flame.
“Ugh, look I’m happy that your training is going great, it’s just… these memories… it’s hard not to look at magic and get angry,” she paused for a moment. “And if you think you’re going to stop doing that, then I’m going to hit you over the head.”
Xel simply looked away, squirming a little. The elf sighed and rubbed her eyes a bit.
“Please something nice before I start hitting my head on the table for being an ass,” she said. Xel decided to take this as her cue to hug her big sister, burying her face in her chest. Viriola sighed and hugged her back. “Or this would work.”
“I love you, big sister,” Xel mumbled, hugging tighter.
“Love you too,” the elf mumbled back. Celestia seemed to choose that moment to appear, right next to the two. The elf jumped at this. “Jesus fucking christ!”
“I’m sorry but, who’s this Jesus?” The Alicorn asked her.
“It’s something from where we come from, don’t worry about it,” Xel said. Celestia blinked at her before making a chair appeared and sitting in it.
“So, you’re maybe wondering why I’m here,” she asked them.
“Other than scaring the crap out of me?” The elf said. Celestia frowned at her.
“Do you have to be mean to me?” she asked.
“You kinda… came out of nowhere,” Xel said.
“And I’m mean to everyone, other than to Xel,” Viriola added, crossing her arms as Xel sat down in the seat beside her. Xel nodded, hugging her sister again.
“I… see, well I do have to ask, how’s your stay in Ponyville?” she asked them both.
“Good, I'm learning magic!” Xel stated cheerfully. Celestia smiled at her.
“I heard! Twilight was giving me reports on your progress,” she leans in a bit. “Don’t tell her I said this, but you’re progressing faster than she did when she was only half your age.”
Xel giggled, beaming at this. The elf smiled at this as she saw her sister happy.
“What about you?” Celestia asked her. Viriola shrugged.
“It’s… okay, not bad if you’re wondering,” she answered.
“Well… that’s good,” the Alicorn said with a small smile.
“So, why are you here?” Xel asked.
“Yes well, as you know a few weeks ago my sister… lost control and went on a rampage,” Celestia began.
“Yeah, I saw it first hand,” Viriola said with a frown.
“That’s true, I wished my sister would… well, grow up and apologize,” she said. Back at Canterlot, Luna’s ears twitched as she felt like somepony was talking about her, and also angry.
“Right, because old scaly but is pissed that I beat her sorry ass,” Viriola said with a smirk.
Xel smirked, leaning towards Viriola slowly. “Swear jar,” She whispered teasingly. Viriola glared at her before handing her a bit.
“Well, you see, the only thing that could cure her is the Elements of Harmony, and… well… they're not together anymore,” The Alicorn explained.
“Jees didn’t need to be told that,” the elf said. Celestia frowned at her.
“You want us to find them, don't you?” Xel questioned. Celestia sighed and nodded.
“This task would mean that the bearers would have to head out and find them themselves but… it’s dangerous for them,” she explained.
“So you want us to go instead,” Viriola answered her. Celestia nodded.
"You may not be as trained as one of my guards but you can hold your own, and Xel,” she turned to face her. “You’re learning how to use magic, so you’ll be very helpful for the job.”
“I guess…” Xel said, unsure. The Alicorn smiled and put her hand on her shoulder.
“Don’t sell yourself short, I have a feeling that you’ll be very useful in this quest,” she said. Xel seemed unsure still, squirming. Celestia leaned back and looked at the elf. “But in any case, I need your help in finding them, for my sister’s sakes.”
Viriola didn’t say anything as she closed her eyes. The two of them stared at her, waiting for her answer. “I… guess if big sisters coming?” Xel questioned, looking at her big sister.
“I’m thinking,” she said. After a few moments, she opened her eyes. “Fine, I’ll take part in this.” Celestia sighed happily at this.
“Thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me,” she said.
“Maybe I do,” Viriola mumbled a bit as she looked over at Xel before looking at the Alicorn. “So, where are they anyway?”
“Umm… that’s the thing…” She started with a nervous chuckle.
“You have no idea, do you,” Viriola said, narrowing her eyes.
“Why did you not put some kinda tracking spell on them?” Xel questioned.
“Well, when I could use them before, I could sense them from where they were, same with my sister as well, but now with the new bearers, only they can sense them… only… they can’t,” Celestia informs them.
"So we have to wait until they can sense where they are and go get them… great,” Viriola shook her head. “Nothing is ever easy.”
“This’ll be fun,” Xel mumbled sarcastically. Celestia sighed and stood up.
“I would stay and chat more but… I’m needed back in Canterlot,” she looked over at the elf. “I suggest that you come over and meet up with my captain of the Royal Guard, you might learn a thing or two from him about swordplay.”
Vi-Vi didn’t say anything as the Alicorn spread her wings and glowed brightly. She disappeared in the sunlight.
“Oh sure, bright as all hell,” the elf said, rubbing her eyes. “Remind me to get sunglasses later.”
“Big sis… I can’t see again,” Xel said, eyes shut tight. Viriola blinked a few times and saw there were spots.
“Ugh,” she groaned, closing her eyes. “Note to us; get sunglasses.”
“We should do that now… after making me see again,” Xel said, clutching her sister tightly. The two of them stayed like that until their eyes returned to normal. “Okay, sunglasses now,” Xel stated. The elf didn’t say anything. “Sis?”
“Herm, what?” Viriola said, waking up. “What time is it?”
“Did… you fall asleep?” Xel questioned, giggling.
“M-maybe…” the elf said, blushing. Xel laughed, booping her sister. “Q-quit it!”
Xel smirked, only booping her more. Soon the two of them were on the ground laughing in the grass. “So, sunglasses now?” Xel asked after she had calmed down.
“Yes,” the elf said. The two of them got up and headed out to get some glasses.
After an hour later they returned with some sunglasses and drinks. “So, what now?” Xel asked, sipping from her drink.
“I don't know, talk?” Vi-Vi said, sitting for in a chair. “What do you think of Twilight? I've been too busy in the books lately to ask her.”
“What do you mean?” Xel asked with a head tilt.
“What’re your thoughts about her, you spend most of your time with her,” the elf said.
"Well, she’s nice, she’s been teaching magic and stuff, after all,” Xel said simply.
“Is that all?” Viriola asked.
“Y-yeah,” Xel lied, looking away. The elf raised an eyebrow at this but didn't push the topic. “So… what now?”
“Hmmm, maybe head to Canterlot and find this captain. If we're going to go find these elements, I want to be able to fight,” Viriola said and she finished her drink.
“Okay… I guess I learned enough magic for now…” Xel said. Viriola shrugged.
“Give your teacher a break, any more and you'll turn her into a mouse,” she teased.
Xel blushed. “Alright, fine,” She said, very tsundere like, crossing her arms and huffing. The elf rolled her eyes before the two headed to the train station. After some yelling with some ponies, they were riding the train to Canterlot.
“Meanie head,” Xel grumbled, pouting.
“They were asking if I was a servant elf of some noble,” Viriola gestured her sword. “Do servants have swords like this?!”
“Bodyguards?” Xel offered. Viriola opened her mouth, before crossing her arms and mumbled a bit. Giggling, Xel hopped into her sister's lap, hugging her. The elf smiled and hugged her back.
Xel yawned, snuggling into her sister before falling asleep for a nap, the cane set beside the two.
Soon the train arrived at Canterlot. They stepped off the train and looked around at the place and saw the nobles walking around with elves carrying stuff behind them.
“Yup, been here for five seconds and I already hate this place,” she said with a frown.
“Let’s let them make us stronger first… then we free elves,” Xel whispered to her sister.
“I'm the elf here,” Viriola said, tugging on Xel’s ear.
“And you’re my big sister, that makes me, like, an honorary elf,” Xel said, giggling. The elf rolled her eye and the two headed off into the city. As they did, Xel pointed to the castle, suggesting they go there first.
The two headed to the castle. The nobles that they passed stared at them, some mumbling to others near them, some loudly being rude to them.
“Really don't like this place,” The elf said. Xel nodded in agreement, frowning heavily. The two soon got near the place, they found a small take out place and decide to grab some food. Getting only some fries, which was a shoebox full of fries, and some drinks. They sat down on a bench eating.
“I can’t believe that jerk almost didn’t serve you,” Xel said, frowning as she nibbled on fries. Viriola grumbled as she ate her fries. “I mean, come on, money is money!”
“Ponies are racists,” the elf mumbled.
“Apparently,” Xel said, sighing. As they ate, they heard growling from behind them. Xel eeped, turning around to see what it was. Viriola turned and reached for her sword.
There behind them was a very large dog, bigger than most dogs the two seen. It was covered in scars and bruises and it was growling at them. The elf frowned at it until she saw its eyes dart from them to the box of fries. She reached out for the box and set it in front of her.
“You can have it,” she said. The dog, in turn, launched itself into the box and started eating.
“Aww… poor puppy…” Xel said, holding a hand out to pet the pup. It ignored her as it ate the last of the fries. Xel cautiously pets the pup, being careful. It stopped and looked at her. It looked funny due to having fries sticking out of its mouth. Xel giggled, continued to softly pet the pup.
Soon the dog was done eating and it was time for the two to go.
“Come on Xel, time to go,” Viriola said.
“But what about the puppy?” Xel asked.
“Puppy?! He's bigger than you!” the elf said. The hound barked at her. The two looked at each other.
“I wanna keep the puppy,” Xel stated, hugging it. The elf looked at the hound as it barked.
“Okay, come on,” she said. Xel cheered, beaming and gesturing for the dog to follow the two. The three of them headed towards the castle. The nobles stared at the three of them. The hound growled at them which made them flinch. “Best, dog, ever.”
“Bestestest,” Xel agreed, nodding. Viriola smiled as she walked.
“Think of a name,” she said in passing.
“How aboooout… Rusty?” Xel suggested. The hound barked happily.
“Rusty it is,” the elf said.
"Rusty puppy!” Xel giggled, hugging the pup. The elf, mage, and hound made their way to the castle. The three soon got to the gates but were stopped.
“Halt, what business do you two have here?” one of the guards asked.
“Princess Celestia told us to find someone to teach her to use her sword,” Xel said, “We thought here would be a good place to start.”
“Why would the princess talk to you two?” one of the guards asked, frowning.
“Look pal, if you don't believe us, go ask your princess about it,” Viriola said, frowning. Xel herself huffed, annoyed. The two guards looked at one another.
“I’ll go ask, keep an eye on them,” one of them said before heading into the castle. The two of them and the guard stood there in silent as Rusty barked.
“Is that a pure breed warhound?” the mare guard asked.
"Dunno, their names Rusty!” Xel said happily. The elf rolled her eyes a bit.
“Yes, he is,” she said. The guard smiled at this as the other guard came back.
“Well, it seems that their story is really true, the Princess herself wants to see them,” the guard said.
“Alright, come with me now,” the mare said.
“Hey, why are you taking them?” the first one said.
“Because you literally walked all the way there, all the way back, and now you want to walk all the way back again?” she asked him. The first guard grumbled a bit as the other three followed the mare into the palace.
“So… how interesting is being a guard?” Xel asked curiously. The mare shrugged.
"Meh, not what I thought it was going to be but it beats doing nothing,” the mare said.
“But… isn’t that what you do when you just stand there?” Xel asked. The mare stopped and turned to her.
“... kinda,” she said before frowning. “Maybe I should of went dancing with my sister instead.”
Xel giggled, nodding in agreement. They walked for a bit through the halls before the mare groaned.
“I sometimes hate this place, so easy to get lost in,” she said annoyed.
“Maybe it was made to be like that?” Xel suggested. Both the mare and Viriola groaned at this.
“Then I hate the one who made the designs for this place,” the mare said.
“Yeah,” Xel agreed. Soon, Xel and the mare, whose name was Azure Moon, were talking.
“And so far my sister is doing alright with her job, enjoys it too,” Azure said as she continued talking.
“What’s her job?” Xel asked curiously.
“She’s a dancer,” Azure answered.
“What kinda dancer?” Xel asked. The mare was silent for a minute.
“A… special kind of dancer,” she answered. Xel blinked, tilting her head in confusion. “Something to know when you're older.”
“I’m seventeen,” Xel huffed.
“Oh…” she looked over at the elf who shrugged.
“Xel, do you really want to know?” she asked.
“Nah, doesn’t matter,” Xel said, waving it off. The guard nodded before, finally, finding the door to the throne room.
“Here we are,” she said.
“That took forever!” Xel exclaimed childishly.
“Yeah, if I have to do this again, I might quit and see if my sister's job is hiring,” she said mostly to herself.
“Good luck,” Xel said simply, smiling. The guard smiled at her and heads off. The two stared up at the large doors in front of them.
“You know, if this worlds the same back home then your birthday is two more days,” Viriola said. “Got tickets to the con as a present, never thought it would turn like this.”
“Well... hopefully, we won't get sent to another universe,” Xel said simply, shrugging. The elf nodded before the two walked into the throne room. The room was spacious with windows of, what Viriola guessed, was events that happened in the past. There were only two nobles in the room along with Celestia. The three walked towards her. As they got closer, one of the two nobles frowned and was about to talk to them, but the elf grabbed the nobles head and looked at them.
“No,” she said in a stern tone.
Xel giggled a bit at this, amused. The other noble stared at this before she quickly left the room. The elf lets the stallion go and watched him run out of the room scared. Xel laughed more at this, very amused. Celestia sighed at the sight of this.
"Did you really have to do that?” she asked.
“The noble was going to bad mouth me, I stopped him,” the elf said.
“Meanie heads…” Xel grumbled. Celestia shook her head at this.
“Let’s… move on, I’m guessing you’re here about sword training?” she asked the elf.
“Yeah,” Viriola shifted a bit and rolled her head. “There’s a lot of monsters here, and I’m going to face them. I want to know how to use this dang thing before I face them,” she said as she gestured the sword. The princess nodded.
“I understand,” she turned her head to one of the doors that leads elsewhere. “You can come in now.”
The door opened and two figures walked in. They were unicorns; one of them was a white furred unicorn with a two tone blue mane. He wore gold armor that shined brightly in the sun. Viriola rolled her eyes.
“Bling bling mother fuckers,” she whispered to Xel.
“Swear jar,” Xel whispered back with a giggle.
“Worth it,” she replied as she looked at the other unicorn. “Is is just me or doesn't he look a lot like a male version of Twilight?”
“Yeah… I wonder why?” Xel mused.
“Viriola, Xel, this is Captain Shining Armor,” Viriola snorted at that. “And Dusk Shine. They’re also Twilight's brothers.” Princess Celestia said.
“Ahh, that makes sense, so you’re her twin or something?” Vi-Vi asked Dusk.
“Yes I am, I’m amazed that an elf figured that out,” he said with a smug look.
“Okay,” the elf looked over to her sister. “I hate this guy's guts.”
“Just another meanie head,” Xel huffed, crossing her arms.
“Dusk, please, be nice to them,” Shining told his younger brother. Dusk frowned at him as Shining looked at the two females. “It’s a pleasure to meet the two of you.”
“Yeah, nice to meet you too,” Viriola said. She looked down at Xel and nodded to her.
“Nice to meet one of you,” Xel snarked. The elf patted her head as Rusty sat behind them.
“Right…” Shining said. Dusk frowned at this but didn’t say anything.
“So, have you picked out the instructor for her?” Celestia asked him.
“I have, but I want to see her skills myself,” the captain said. Viriola narrowed her eyes at him.
“You want to fight me?” she asked as a grin grew on her face. “Alright,”
“Well, shall we?” Shining asked as he walked over in front of her. Xel saw Dusk walk over to where Celestia is and did the same. Soon Viriola and Shining Armor were facing each other as the elf pulled out her sword. The captain pulled out his sword and scabbard as he pushed a button on it. The scabbard expanded into a shield as he pulled out his sword.
‘A shield fighter, this is going to be interesting,’ the elf thought as she got ready.
“If I may ask, how much does she know about using a two-handed sword?” Celestia asked Xel.
“She knows a bit,” Xel said simply, not quite answering the question. Dusk snorted at this.
“She’s has nothing on Shining, he’s going to win easily,” he said in a smug.
“And why’s that?” Xel asked challengingly.
“My brother has been trained in combat since he was young, she’ll lose,” he said. Xel frowned at him before looking at her sister.
The elf took the initiative and charged at the stallion to cleave his body in two. He simply blocked it with his shield and pushed her back. He thrust forward with his sword while following it with the side of his shield. Vi-vi deflected the sword and moved out of the way of the shield.
“Figured you use your shield as a weapon,” she commented as she made a downward slash at him. He simply used his shield to deflect her stick and smacked her face with the side of his shield.
“Have to balance it out, offense and defense,” he commented as well. The elf chuckled as she pushed forward.
“She… seemed to be enjoying herself,” Luna yawned as she walked towards the others wearing only a large gray t-shirt that covered her body.
“Sister, it’s so nice to see you up,” Celestia said happily.
“Morning,” Xel said simply, watching the fight.
“Lady Luna! It’s great to see you this great day!” Dusk said happily, pushing Xel away from Luna.
“Hey!” Xel cried, shoving him back. He shot her a glare before smiling back to the Kirin, who simply scratched her butt and yawned. “Jerk,” Xel grumbled under her breath, before going back to watching the fight.
Viriola was having a tough time with her fight with Shining. She only had a few days to get an idea of how to use her sword, but she was fighting against someone who’s been trained for a long time. She used the butt-end of her sword to hit his shield to try and throw him off balance. But it didn’t work and the unicorn thrust his sword at her, making her back up. She was panting as she tried an overhead swing at him. He simply countered by hooking his shield and disarming her. Her sword skidded across the floor until it stopped at Xels feet. Dusk started to laugh as the two sisters lock eyes at one another and the elf winked at her.
Smirking, Xel kicked the sword up, catching it and leaning on it while holding her staff. “Shining's done,” Xel said simply.
“Are you nuts?! The elf lost her sword, she’s done for,” the unicorn looked at Xel. “What hope does she have to win?”
“You’ll see,” Xel replied. Shining gave the elf a sorry shrug and thrust his sword at her. The elf stepped forwards and allowed the sword to pass her side. Grabbing his arm, she twisted around and brought her elbow to his face. This stunned him for a second as she planted herself down before kicking him. She hit his shield with a sounding crack, this made him lose balance a bit as she spun around and kicked him in the head. He was dazed from this as she stepped forward, grabbing his sword arm and hooking her leg around his and twisting so he fell down to the ground. Shining blinked at this as he lost the fight in a short span of a few seconds.
“W-What, how…” Dusk stuttered as the two princesses were slacked jawed. Xel simply giggled.
“Big sister knows hand-to-hand better than swords,” Xel said simply, giggling more.
“I have to say, that’s impressive,” Luna said, now a little more awake.
“But, she’s an elf!” Dusk said, shocked at what the princess said.
“So?” Luna asked him, frowning.
“Why are you such a jerk?” Xel questioned, huffing again. Dusk didn’t say anything, muttering to himself. Luna watched the elf as she picked the stallion up and gave her commitments to him.
“Thank you, I have to say that was amazing what you did there, I thought I had you there,” he said. The elf shrugged as she stretched.
“If I was using a sword yeah, but when it comes to hand-to-hand, that’s a completely different story,” she rolled her shoulders a bit. “Over the years of learning, when it comes to bare hands, anything goes.”
“If you say so,” he said as the two walked over to the others. The elf notices what the Kirin was wearing.
“Nice to see you again, lazy bones,” Viriola said. Before Luna could say anything, Dusk stepped forward.
“How dare you call her that, she’s the Princess of the Night, she deserves the utmost respect!” he barked. Luna sighed at this as the elf stared at him.
“Yeah yeah, go be a kiss ass somewhere else,” she said, looking away from him. Dusk’s face lit up red with embarrassment and rage from Viriola. Luna stared at the elf but didn’t say anything.
“Swear jar,” Xel commented. Viriola rolled her eyes.
"So...do I get to see this teacher or what?” she asked.
“Well-” Shining started but Dusk cut him off.
“Absolutely not! You insulted Princess Luna, you should apologize now elf,” he ordered. Viriola eye twitched as she looked at him.
“Was I talking to you?” she asked, not hiding the fact she was getting angry at him.
"It doesn’t matter, I’m one of the Royal High Enchanters here in Canterlot, one of the best mages in the kingdom,” he boasted. Celestia and Shining sighed and Luna rolled her eyes.
“If you’re so good, then you won’t mind dueling me,” Xel said, smirking. Dusk looked at her and snorts.
“Me, duel you? Ha! You’re out of your league kid,” he said.
“Scared of being beaten by a girl?” Xel teased, smirking more. His face went red.
“Alright, you’re asking for you,” he said as he marched over to the other side of the room. Xel shook her head before walking over to face him. The others watched this unfold.
“Your brother is an ass,” Viriola said to Shining.
“I know,” he said, hanging his head.
“Ready when you are!” Xel called, twirling her staff. Dusk answered her by shooting an arcane bolt at her. Xel slammed her staff onto the ground, the orb in it glowing brown as a wall rose to block the blast. Dusk took this chance to muttered under his breath, the air around him simmered a bit before a small orb appears over his head. He shot out some more arcane bolts at the wall, now punching holes into the wall.
This kicked a lot of dust up, and when it was gone, Xel had vanished, not a trace of where she’d gone. Dusk frowned as he slammed his staff down onto the ground, sending a shockwave out. Nothing happened which made the unicorn frown.
Before he could try anything else, Xel came out of the ground under him, uppercutting the unicorn with a rock covered fist.
“That’s… clever,” Shining commented.
“She’s a clever one,” Viriola said, smiling. Dusk grunted before letting out a torrent of flames at Xel. Yelping, her staff flashed brown, and then a yellowish-green, a rock wall covering her as a torrent of wind changed the direction of the flame, blowing it bigger than before back at the unicorn. He moved his hand over, his body glowing as the flames overcame him but didn’t burn him. He thrust his staff our and sent rocks rocketing at Xel’s wall.
This shattered the wall, revealing that Xel had vanished again. Dusk frowned at this as he slammed his staff down, making the ground shake. When nothing happened, his eyes widened, before he was hit with a lightning covered fist to the stomach as Xel appeared. He grunted as he stepped back, looking up at her.
“No more, playing around,” he said as his staff glowed and Xels body glowed as well. Xel frowned as she tried to use another spell but nothing happened.
“Dang it Dusk, locking her magic,” Shining muttered. Dusk grinned as he stood up.
“Now, time to lose this,” he said as he twitched his hand, making Xels cane shoot out of her hands. He lifted his hand up and a dark cloud began to form. Shining stepped forward.
“Dusk, No! Don’t use the Death Cloud spell!” he yelled. Viriola eyes widen as she felt her anger rise. The unicorn smirked as the cloud grew bigger.
Xel, however, only looked DETERMINED. She reached inside herself, feeling for anything that wasn’t bound by the spell… and found something. It felt… different, to what she was used to, but she decided to take all that she could get. She pulled at the energy, gathering it into her hands.
Two orbs of pulsing, red energy appeared in her hands, and a heavy magic presence went through the room, almost suffocating. Giving the unicorn no more time to charge his spell, Xel thrust her hands forward, releasing a beam of red magic that was as tall as she was. Dusk’s irises shrank as his arcane shield was destroyed and hit him full force. He was launched into a wall and stayed there as Xel finished. He slowly slid down off the wall and fell on his face.
“Take… that… you… jerk…” Xel panted, using that much magic at once being exhausting, despite the fact she still had a lot more.
“What, in the name of the Maker, was that!” Luna asked. The elf didn’t answer as she ran over to Xel and checked on her.
“Are you alright?” she asked.
“Just need… to catch my breath… staff please,” Xel panted, less than before. Luna walked over to the cane and bent down to pick it up, showing a bit of her underwear as well. She walked over and gave Xel it back.
“That’s a nice cane, better hold on to it,” she said with a smile.
“Thanks…” Xel said simply, taking it and using the staff/cane to help her stand. “That… was fun.”
Celestia looked over at Dusk and waved her hand, making him disappear. She walked over to the other two.
“I’m… so sorry for that, Dusk may be Twilight’s Twin but… he doesn’t share her kindness,” she said sadly.
“It’s… okay,” Xel assured.
“What’s the hell is wrong with him?!” Viriola snapped at the Princess. Celestia looked at her, thinking for the words to say.
“How about I tell them, sister,” Luna said. Celestia nodded before disappearing to deal with Dusk. Luna looked over at the two. “I may know little, but both Twilight Sparkle and Dusk Shine was students to my sister.”
“Really?” Xel asked, blinking.
“Yeah, Twilly and Dusky were her prize pupils,” Shining said. “But as I heard, the princess spent more time with Twilight, making Dusk jealous. He spent hours reading through magic books and dusty tombs and practiced every day.”
“When I returned from the moon and was cured, Dusk thought he would be my pupil,” Luna said with a frown. “He begged me to take him on as a student.”
“What’d you say?” Xel asked.
“Well, I was speaking in old tongue at the time, but in today's words… ‘hell no,’” she said. “To this day he bugs me to take him on, I thought about it until he went full stalker mode on me and followed me around.”
“He needs to learn to give up,” Xel huffed. Luna sighed.
“You have no idea,” she said, sitting down. She sat cross legged which showed more of her underwear. She didn’t seem bothered by it as Shining blushed and moved out of view.
“So, who’s my big sis’s trainer gonna be?” Xel asked.
“Errm, her trainer, right… I’ll… go get her…” Shining said as he quickly walked out of the room.
“He left in a hurry,” the elf said, sitting down as well.
“Wonder why?” Xel mused, sitting down. Luna shrugged.
“Don’t know, anyway,” she said, looking at the two of them. “You two are more interesting than I thought.”
“What do you mean by that?” Xel asked. Luna looked at the two siblings.
“An elf with training that I haven’t seen as good for a long time, a mage with a magic me or my sister have never seen before, if that doesn’t make you two interesting I don’t know what will,” Luna told them.
“Next one of us will have two souls or something,” Xel joked, chuckling. Luna smiled as the door reopen and Shining Armor walked it with Azura Moon behind him.
“Hey there,” she said with a wave.
“Hello,” Xel said, lazily waving back, looking distracted.
"Viriola, Xel, this is Azura Moon. She's one of the best two-handed weapon fighters here,” Shining said. “And she's your teacher.”
“Figured that you were, you look strong,” the elf said. Xel seemed to be not paying attention, focusing on something else. Viriola and the mare were talking as Luna noticed her trying to something. She moved closer to Xel to watch.
A small, white orb appeared in Xels hand, making her blink. Curious, and seeming to recognize it slightly, she moved her hands, making a bunch appear, before they fired in the same order as they appeared, leaving small holes in the wall.
“That's… amazing,” Luna said.
“I’m gonna have fun with this…” Xel mumbled, smiling. The others nodded until both the elf and mare headed out. Xel noticed that Luna was watching Vi-vi leave.
“Are you looking at my sister's butt?” Xel asked, narrowing her eyes.
“W-what,” Luna said, blushing.
“You were!” Xel said, giggling. Luna blushed a bit more at Xels giggling. She fidgeted a bit while sitting. “She likes you too, you know,” Xel said casually.
“S-she does?” Luna asked. Xel nodded, smiling. Luna smiled a bit at the new information she gained.
“Well, until she’s back, wanna see what this new stuff can do?” Xel asked, smirking.
“Alright, I have nothing to do now,” Luna said.
The Magic of Dust and Lyrium
It has been a few months since Viriola and Xel came to the Ponyville. So far the two have settled in pretty nicely, other than the elf since she keeps getting stares from the few nobles that came through. She learned to ignore them but it still annoyed her to no end.
Xel has been mostly focused on her training, finding out that she has some new magic that no one has seen before was exciting for some, but for Xel, it was a bit jarring. She shook her head a bit as she was now training with Twilight. Her hair grown out a bit, now reaching to the middle of her back.
“So, you said you wanted to see the new magic I had, right?” Xel asked Twilight. She had somehow not seen the new magic in a couple of months, the two having mainly focused on training Xel in known magics.
“Well, I would be lying if I said I didn't,” Twi said. She was wearing some training clothes since the two started training for hours on end. It was made with a dark purple tank top and some training shorts. Her mane was tied up in a ponytail, which made Xel giggle.
“Alright, well it… doesn’t look that impressive at first,” Xel forewarned. Over the months Xel been here, her body seemed to change shape. She became curvier in places and started to develop breasts quickly. She looked more female than before, though she didn't see much difference. Unknown to her, with the new magic she gain, her body became more malleable to what she feels like.
She shifted a bit as she wore a gray sports bra and black yoga pants that hugged her developing body, to which she oddly enjoyed.
“As long it doesn't blow up I'm fine,” Twi said, taking a few steps back. Xel giggled a little, before waving her hand over her head. White orbs appeared above her, before they shot forward one at a time, making five deep holes in the ground. “That… was interesting.”
“Yeah, I can make them into patterns for quicker casting, but it looks like it has to be avoidable, even if it’s a small gap you can slip out of, as long as you CAN dodge it, it’s okay,” Xel said, seeming frustrated with the annoying limitation. She noticed that Twilight made a notebook appeared and started writing in it. Xel smiled at the sight of it before remembering Dusk. That made her frown.
“You know, I met your brothers a couple months ago,” Xel commented. She paused for a moment.
“I… see, how is Shining? He never writes,” she said, continuing to write.
“He was fine… your twins a jackass though,” Xel stated bluntly. She winced at that.
“It's… not really his fault…” she said.
“I heard,” Xel said with a shrug.
“I mean, I would've wound up the same if I had to go through what he went through,” she stated, making the notebook disappear.
“Well, don’t turn out like him, okay?” Xel said simply.
“Xel you don't get it,” Twilight sighed. “I know my brother is a jerk, a very big one, but it's because he went to the tower.”
“The tower?” Xel asked. Twilight shook her head a bit before porting away. Xel frowned a bit.
“She meant the Circle of Magi,” the elf's voice called out. Xel turned to see her sister standing there with a loose white tank top and camo shorts.
“What’s that?” Xel asked.
“It's a school,” Viriola started, looking away. “It's a place where others that can use magic learn to control it.”
“Something tells me it’s more than that,” Xel said, frowning. Vi-Vi looked away for a moment.
“It's also a prison,” she explained.
“A prison?” Xel asked, wide eyed.
“Yup, once in you can never get out,” she continued to explain.
“How’d he get out then, big sister?” Xel asked, blinking.
“Don't know, maybe he became the High Enchanter,” Viriola said, wondering that herself.
“Uhm… then is it bad that I beat him in a magic duel by blasting him with a red magical kamehameha?” Xel asked worriedly.
“if he has a have a problem with you he has one with me,” the elf said with a frown.
“W-what if he brings a bunch of g-guys though to take me away?” Xel asked fearfully.
“Again, if they do they have to get through me,” the elf frowned and crossed her arms. Xel sniffled, opening her arms for a hug. The elf smiled and gave her sister a hug. Xel sniffled, still scared, squeezing her sister tightly. The two stayed like that for some time, the elf rubbing her sister's back and saying comforting words.
Eventually, the little sister was slumped against the older, having evidently fallen asleep. Vi-Vi chuckled as she picked Xel up and carried her to her room. Once there she tucked her in and sat on the bed for a bit.
Xel tossed and turned, seeming to have a nightmare. The elf brushed her sister's hair and started to hum softly. The tune slowly calmed the little sister, from tossing and turning to just quiet whimpers.
Viriola continued this, whispering that everything is alright to Xel. This calmed her more, a peaceful expression overtaking her face. The elf smiled before she leans forward and kisses her forehead. She moved until she was sitting on the floor of the bed. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep
Xel woke up with Viriola sleeping near her. Being careful, Xel left the room, deciding to take a walk. On the walk, reality seemed to warp around Xel, before the strange sweatered being appeared.
“Hello there,” The displacer said, smirking.
“Y-you!” Xel shouted, summoning white spheres around her and firing them at the sweatered being. The sweatered being raised an eyebrow, waving a hand and destroying the spheres.
“Calm down, I’m here to do something and go,” The displacer said. Xel didn’t trust them, but knew attacking would be futile, so she calmed herself.
“What is it?” Xel asked in a huff.
“I’m just gonna make something to send you to other worlds with people in similar situations as you,” The sweatered one said.
Xel looked like she had a question, but was interrupted as she gasped, collapsing to the floor. In the being's hand was a magically made copy of the orb in her staff/cane, and it glowed multiple colors.
“Pretty cool huh,” the being said, tossing the orb up into the air and catching it. “This here is a token, it's used to bring you to other worlds once called for by others. Normally you should pick what the token would look like, but I think this would work.”
“W-whats… next?” Xel questioned, wary.
“Now, you need a message, so people know who they’re summoning and what they can summon you for,” The sweatered being said, holding the orb in front of Xel.
Xel cleared her throat, having a good idea. “I am Xel, call me if you need help defending or need help freeing something or someone,” She said. The sweatered being nodded, before tossing the orb into the void, the area around the two returning to normal as the being vanished, Xel passing out.
Viriola knew something was different. When she woke up she felt like something was off. She saw her sister wasn't in the bed, but that wasn't it. She stood up and looked around the room. She saw a bird outside the window, it was a blue bird and it was staring into the room. The elf looked at it for some time and the bird didn't move, at all.
She looked at it before looking at the door. She soon walked out of the room and headed downstairs. The place was quite, too quite. There was no noise, talking, really anything. It was quite. She found out why as she saw both Twilight and a small Drake named Spike standing in place, not moving. She moved over to them and waved her hand in front of them. They didn’t blink.
“What the?” she said, looking at the two.
“They're fine,” a being said behind her. The elf turned and saw a man sitting on the couch, drinking some tea. He wore a dark leather jacket with dark red flames on the sleeves, ripped jeans with some combat boots. His hair was short and black, his beard was trimmed nicely, and his skin was a dark tan colour. What stood out was his eyes, they were draconic like red eyes that seemed to burn darkly. The teacup seemed small in his hands as he drinks it.
“Uhh, who are you?” the elf asked. “And what did you do to them?”
“Oh them? Just made time stop for everyone other than us two,” he said simply as if it was a day to day thing.
“You stopped… okay, not going to question it,” Viriola said, shaking her head. “Just, who are you?”
“I go by many names,” He said, tilting his head. “Relrass, Rinpar, the Shadow King, blah blah, etc etc, but you can call me Kendal since I enjoy that name.”
“Uhhhh…” she simply stared at the man. “Okay~... going to go with the flow here, what do you what?”
“Let’s see,” he looked up to the ceiling for a moment to think. “Let’s get it out of the way since it’s a hassle to explain it, you and your sister are something called a Displacement, beings that can go to other worlds by objects called tokens, I’m here to help you make one for you.”
The elf stared at him for what felt like forever, the man drank his tea as he waited since at the moment the two had all the time in the world. She shook her head some more, trying to figure this out.
“Okay… let’s say I believe you-”
“What’s there not to believe in girl?” the Kendal asked, frowning. “You’re standing in a room with a unicorn and a dragon frozen in time and you’re an elf with powers unknown to you.”
“Good… point,” the elf said. “Continuing, how do I make this token?”
“Just pick something that you like for your token and I’ll do the rest,” he explained. The elf thought about it for some time before pulling out a small knife out of her pocket. It wasn’t real, just a simple curved knife that she picked up from a store.
“Would this work?” she asked.
“Yes, that would do,” he answered, reaching out for the knife. She gave it to him and watched that he held it in his giant hand as it started to glow. He hands it back to her. “Now, a message for others to hear when they get it.”
The elf held the knife in her hands as she thought about it. “My name is Viriola if you need me just give me a call… just don’t piss me off,” she said before handing the knife back as it’s glow solidified. The man held it in his hand before dropping it, making it disappear.
“Now that’s done,” he said, standing up and making a hat appear. “I have to leave, got to deal with a girl with fire powers and a Skeleton.” With that he disappeared, making time resume as normal and Spike tripping over his feet.
“AHH!” he yelled as he faces planted on the ground. “Ow~...”
Twilight went to help the drake up and noticed Vi-Vi standing there.
“Oh… when did you get here Viriola?” she asked. The elf opened her mouth before closing it.
“I’m going to head out, need to clear my head… or hit something… or both,” she said before she went out the door.
“DON’T HIT ANYPONY!!!!” Twilight yelled.
Back with Xel, she felt someone shaking her awake.
“Hey, small fry, wake up,” a brash female voice said to her. Xel groaned, shifting a little, but not waking. The female shook her some more. “Hey, I didn’t drag you all the way off the middle of the street for you to sleep all day, that’s my stick.”
Xel whimpered, rolling over and, again, not waking. She felt herself getting picked up and started to be shaken by the mare.
“Wake up!” she yelled. Xel whimpered more at the yell, awake now but curling up. She saw the mare was a blue pegasus with a rainbow mane. She wore a dark blue tank top that showed off her abs and black shorts. She raised an eyebrow at Xel.
“What’s up with you?” the mare asked. Xel seemed to snap out of something, shaking her head.
“N-nothing… where am I?” She asked, holding her head, having a bit of a headache.
“Under a tree, in Ponyville,” the mare said, crossing her arms. “Why were you passed out in the middle of the street?”
“I… don’t remember,” Xel said, clutching her hair.
“Well, next time you pass out, try someplace out of the way, you almost got ran over by a cart,” the mare said, sitting down under a tree and closing her eyes.
“Okay…” Xel mumbled, taking their staff and walking away, heading home, a little shaky.
“Hey!” the mare yelled, flying over the mage's head. “No thank you or anything?”
“O-oh, s-sorry, thank you,” Xel mumbled, taking a step back from surprise.
“You’re welcome mage,” the mare said, crossing her arms. Xel looked down a little meekly, walking past her and hurrying towards the house tree. When she got there she saw Twilight curled up on the couch, reading a book.
Xel immediately moved to go upstairs, figuring her big sister would still be there. She went there, then to other parts of the house, then back down in the library to find out that she wasn’t there.
“T-twi, d-do you k-know where my b-big sissy is?” Xel asked, voice cracking a tiny bit.
“Sissy?” Twilight asked, looking at Xel through her glasses. Xel shifted from one foot to the other, looking away and blushing a little. “Is there something wrong? Can I help with anything?”
Xel told Twilight what she remembered, looking away at the floor now, shaking more. The mare didn’t say anything for a few minutes before Xel felt her wrap her arms around her and pull her into a hug.
“I hope this helps,” she whispered. Xel blushed, before burying her head in the mare's shoulder, trembling. The two of them sat down on the couch as Xel held Twilight as the mare rubbed her back.
Xel curled up to Twilight, sniffling and shaking a little still. The mare continued this for some time, hoping that the mage would calm down. Eventually, Xel stopped but didn’t seem to want to leave the hold. Twilight didn’t seem to mind though, just happy that she could help.
“T-thanks…” Xel mumbled.
“No problem, happy to help,” she replied. Xel hugged Twilight, just staying there. The two of them stayed like that for some time in silence.
“Say… are you enjoying my magic lessons?” Twi asked.
“Yeah,” Xel said, nodding. The mare let out a sigh.
“That's a relief, I thought I was being too hard on you at times or too soft. Maybe the lessons aren't interesting or too fast or-” she continued to ramble on.
“They’re fine,” Xel assured, hugging tighter. Twi smiled at this as she hugged back. “You're the bestestes teacher,” Xel added.
“Well you're the bestestes student,” Twi replied back, not paying much attention to what she said. Xel giggled, smiling. “What you giggling about?”
“We’re silly,” Xel said, booping her.
“I think both of you are to,” a voice said. The two of them turned and saw Viriola standing in the doorway, her arms crossed and smirking. Xel squeaked in surprise, blushing and throwing herself off of Twilight instinctively, making her fall and hit her head on the floor with a whimper. Twilight panicked and went to help her up.
“A-are you okay?!” she asked, blushing like mad.
“Ow, my head…” She whimpered, rubbing an already nasty looking bump. Viriola shook her head.
“Good job dummy,” she said. Normally for anyone that would make anyone mad. But for Xel, she knew that the elf cares, just sometimes shows it in odd ways.
Xel still pouted, tearing up, though it was from the pain and not from what she said. Twilight moved around and put her hand on the bump and it started to glow. Soon Xel felt the pain slowly die down from this. She saw Viriola staring at them.
‘Xel and Twilight, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G, ’ the elf mouthed with a grin. Xel blushed, looking away.
“Is this making it better?” Twi asked, still using her magic.
“Y-yeah,” Xel said, smiling a little. Twilight smiled a bit more as she continued. The elf shook her head and went off to the kitchen to get something to drink. “T-thank you,” Xel continued. Soon Twi was finished and moved out of the way.
“One of the styles of mages can do is called Spirit Healer, it does what it sounds like.” she explained.
“Heals ghosts?” Xel innocently asked.
“Umm… kinda? It’s more like using helpful spirits to heal others,” she clarified to Xel. Xel nodded a little, before suddenly snuggling with Twi. “Umm… what’s with the snuggling?”
Xel shrugged, blushing. Twilight stared at her for a few moments but didn’t move to stop this. She simply blushed at this. “So… we spend a lot of time together,” Xel commented.
“Well, yes since the training in magic and lessons,” Twilight said.
“I’d say we’re… pretty close,” Xel continued.
“Yes, a teacher and student somethings become close,” she added.
“I think… we’re a little closer than that,” Xel said, blushing. Twilight blinked at this.
“What do you mean?” she asked, now confused. Vi-Vi was standing out of sight and facepalming at this.
“Oh my god, she has no idea what Xel’s talking about,” she whispered.
Xel sighed. “Nevermind,” She mumbled. Twilight blinked at this, now confused. Xel looked over and saw her sister standing out of sight. She made a gesture and mouthed. ‘Well?’ Xel simply looked away, closing her eyes.
“Xel, what’s wrong?” the mare asked.
“Nothing,” Xel mumbled.
“Oh my lord,” Viriola mumbled as she walked out of her spot and walk past them.
“She meant close as in a couple,” the elf said, moving to head upstairs. Xel squeaked in embarrassment, flushing red. Twilight went red at this and shifted a bit.
“Is… that what you meant?” she asked Xel. Xel nodded shyly. “Oh… Well… Ummm…” Her face was really red as her eyes dart around, trying to figure out what to say.
Xel looked down, afraid of rejection.
“Umm, I don’t think it would work, I think I would be a terrible girlfriend and… I would just mess things up and-” Twilight blushed a bit more, not looking at Xel.
“D-d-do you… w-w-wanna try?” Xel asked hopefully.
“Umm…” Twilight fidget a bit. “M-maybe…”
“I-i need a yes or no,” Xel said, looking Twilight in the eye. The mare looked at Xel for a moment.
“I… guess we can try…” she said with a smile. Xel went up and kissed her, hugging her. “Eep!” Twilight said, blushing like mad now. Xel blushed but smiled at Twilight. Upstairs the elf smiled at this before going to her room to rest after punching a Beowulf.
The Magic of Dust and Lyrium
It’s been a few weeks after Xel and Twi became a couple and so far things were good. The lessons continued as normal and Xel’s magic improved more and more over time, more so because Twilight was giving encouragement to Xel.
Right now, Xel was practicing using her strange magic, making patterns with the white spheres of energy. Twilight was also there, writing down notes of what’s happening. “It feels like I’m missing something,” Xel commented as she sent attacks at a target, frowning.
“What do you mean?” Twilight ask, looking up from her notepad.
“I feel like I should be able to do more. I mean, when I first used this stuff, it was red, and I haven’t been able to copy that,” Xel said with a huff, crossing her arms and pouting. Twilight smiled a bit, walking over to Xel.
“You’ll figure it out, I know you will,” she said. Xel smiled at her girlfriend. Knowing that her girlfriend believed in her, filled her with DETERMINATION. Xel tried another attack, and something strange happened. Instead of the white orbs, a red one appeared, faster and going further down, before exploding, kicking up a bunch of dirt. Twilight was shocked at this. “That’s… amazing! How did you do that?!”
“I have no clue,” Xel said, wide-eyed. Xel stared at the spot before looking at Twilight, who’s writing down in her notepad. “Hey… I wonder if we could make something to kinda fire the magic…” Xel muttered, frowning thoughtfully.
Xel looked down at her staff, looking at the orb in it. She pointed it forwards, and the staff flashed red before a beam of red came out. It was significantly smaller than the one she used in the fight against Twilight’s brother, but it was still powerful, going through thirty trees and into the distance.
“This… this isn’t like anything I have seen before,” Xel heard Twilight muttered as she continued to write.
Xel practiced with both white and red orbs now, occasionally throwing in a beam, decimating the training grounds. When she was done, Twilight has already finished writing and looked around.
“Did you really have to total the training grounds?” she asked. Xel sheepishly laughed, rubbing the back of her head and looking away. Twilight giggled before she kissed Xel on the cheek.
Xel blushed, squirming a little in place.
“Sorry, you still not used to this?” Twilight asked, worried.
“Not really,” Xel said with a shrug, before hugging her. Twilight smiled and hugged her back.
“If there’s anything you want me to do, just ask,” Twilight whispered. “I want this to work.”
“Alright, if I think of anything, I’ll tell you,” Xel said, nuzzling her. The two stayed like that for a bit until they separated. Twilight stared at Xel and smiled. Xel smiled back, before yawning. “Man… those red ones are tiring,” Xel stated.
“I guess so…” Twilight said. “You need me to get you something?”
“Nah, I think I just need a nap,” Xel said, stretching a little. “Not too long, like an hour at most,” She added. Twilight nodded.
“All right,” she said with a smile. Xel walked inside, deciding to just nap on the couch, flopping onto it and falling asleep. After two hours Xel woke up not on the couch but in Twilight’s bed. She looked around as she heard Twilight using the shower.
Xel decided to start changing out of her training wear, the clothes a little uncomfortable at the moment. She stripped down, looking at herself in the mirror. Her body was now very feminine, not what she look like before coming her. She looked down at her breasts and saw that they seemed to have grown a bit which made her comfortable with the bra she was wearing, maybe time to get some new ones.
Xel stretched a little, posing in front of the mirror. She looked back at the bathroom door to still hear Twilight still taking a shower. Spike said that she takes very long showers for no reason and was happy that he didn't have to share one with her. The idea of waiting would make him nuts.
Xel decided to actually dress now, pulling open her drawer in Twis room that she had, just in case. She saw the clothes that she had and debated on what to wear, maybe something bold for her girlfriend? Shaking her head and pulled out some comfortable clothes. She put on a large purple t-shirt that was a little too big, making the bottom act a little like a skirt, and some jeans.
Xel walked over to the bathroom, knocking. “Thanks for moving me to a bed, Twi-Twi!” Xel called.
“No problem!” She heard Twi yelled back. “Give me a bit, I'm almost done!”
“Okay!” Xel said, going to the bed and sitting down, waiting. Soon Twilight walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her. Xel blushed at this, looking away.
“Sorry, forgot clothes,” Twilight said, blushing as well.
“O-okay, s-should I wait outside, o-or… ?” Xel questioned.
“Just give me a minute,” Twilight said, now getting changed. Xel nodded, politely keeping her eyes off of her girlfriend. After a few minutes, Twilight tapped Xel’s shoulder that it was okay now. She turned and saw that Two was wearing a black shirt with a purple tie along with a purple skirt.
“You look beautiful,” Xel commented without thinking.
“T-thanks, you look beautiful as well,” Twi said, blushing. Xel blushed, smiling at her.
“S-so, what do you w-wanna do today?” Xel asked her girlfriend.
“Umm… hang out?” Twi said. “Most of the time was for training but never, hang out.”
“Okay,” Xel said. The two of them soon headed out of the library holding hands. Xel leaned into Twi, giving her a sudden kiss on the cheek. Twilight smiled at this and blushed as the two continued walking. A stallion soon walked past them, bumping into Twi and continues on. The two took a few steps before Twilight stopped to check something.
“My wallet!” she yelled. The two turned around to see the stallion running around the corner. Xel snarled, casting a quick spell and running after him. As she ran around the corner she stopped at the sight: the stallion was pinned to the wall by a bolt and a dwarf was walking up to him.
“I know a Faunus that can steal every coin from your pocket just by smiling at you. But you?” heknow stood in front of the stallion. Xel saw that he had an odd crossbow on his back. “You have no style to steal from here, not even the Merchant's Guild.” Xel watched the stallion handed the wallet over to the dwarf. “Might want to find a new line of work.” with that he punched him and pulled the bolt out, making the stallion fall over.
Xel blinked, before walking over, to get the wallet back. The dwarf walked towards Xel, spinning the bolt in his hand. When they got close he tossed the wallet over to her.
“How do you do? Verric Tethras, at your service!” he greeted with a smile.
“I’m fine, thanks for that” Xel said, catching the wallet.
“Not a problem, not every day you help anyone who's like you,” he said.
“What does that mean?” Xel questioned, crossing her arms.
“I know things, many things,” he said.
“Okay…” Xel trailed off, before shrugging. “Whatever, thanks for getting my girlfriend's wallet,” She said, turning to go give it to her girlfriend.
“Not a problem, Xel,” he said to Xel.
“How do you… know what, don’t care,” She decided, walking away and to her girlfriend. Xel was about to run into her as she turned the corner.
“Oh! Sorry, I didn't-”
“Here Twi-Twi,” Xel said, holding the hand out to her with a smile.
“Oh! Thank you,” she said, taking the wallet and kissing Xel on the cheek. Xel blushed and smiled, squirming a little in place. “How did you get it back?”
“I didn’t, someone stopped the thief before I could,” Xel said honestly
“Really? Well, I wished they were here, I would of thanking them,” Twilight said, looking around. Xel did as well, seeing the person and pointing them out for her. The being named Verric was heading off in the opposite direction as Xel did this. “A dwarf? That's… odd.”
“Why’s that?” Xel asked.
“Most dwarves are a bit… greedy, for the ones I met at least, maybe it's not that odd,” She explained.
Xel simply shrugged. “Well, if you wanna thank him, he’s going that way,” She said.
“Maybe next time I see him,” Twilight said, wrapping her arms around Xels arm and hugging it. “For now I'm spending time with you.”
Xel blushed and smiled, giving her a kiss on the forehead. The two of them soon headed off looking now like a loving couple. “What do you wanna do now? Walk in the park?” Xel suggested.
“Sure,” Twilight said, hugging Xels arm more. The two went to the park, going down a path. It was a quiet day as the two walked. Twilight blushed a bit as she held Xels arm as she walked beside her.
They just enjoyed each other as Xel seemed to be leading Twi somewhere. The place was obvious, reaching a semi-hidden part of the park, where a picnic was set up. Twilight raised an eyebrow as she saw this.
“You planned this, didn't you,” she said with a smirk.
“Maybe,” Xel said cheekily, guiding her over to the blanket and sitting with her. The two soon started to eat and talk. Twilight smiled as she listened to Xels stories that she tells. She soon was leaning into Xel as her arms wrapped around the unicorn.
“This was nice,” Xel commented, kissing Twis horn. Twilight stuttered a bit and nodded.
“Yeah,” she said, nuzzling Xel a bit. Xel noticed this, and smirked, kissing her horn a couple more times. The unicorn shuttered some more, gasping a bit.
“E-easy, that's really… sensitive,” she panted. This only encouraged her, Xel going from kissing to licking Twis horn. Twilight blushed even more, now feeling uncomfortable. Sensing this, Xel stopped.
“Sorry, t-too much?” Xel asked.
“L-little,” Twilight said, now starting to calm down.
“Sorry…” Xel apologised again. Twilight smiled a bit more as she turned around so she could face Xel. She smiled as she started to kiss her. Xels eyes widened, a blush erupting on her face, before she closed her eyes, kissing back. The two continued until Xel was on her back as Twi was still kissing her. When she pulled away the two stared at each other for a bit.
“That was… amazing…” Xel panted, looking up at Twi with love in her eyes. Twilight giggled at Xel before laying down on her. Xel smiled, idly petting Twilight and hugging her with her other arm. After a few minutes Xel started to hear Twilight sleeping as she continued to lay on top of her.
Xel smiled, before deciding to follow her girlfriend into slumberland. The two stayed like that until Xel woke up again and saw that the sun was going down. Twilight was also still sleeping soundly as well. Seeing that her girlfriend was still asleep, she picked her up, walking back to the tree. Twilight curled up in Xels arms as she was being carried.
Xel smiled, walking into the tree and heading upstairs. On the way she saw her sister lying on the couch, not noticing Xel walk in. Taking the opportunity, she head upstairs, going into Twis room and getting in bed, letting her stay layed on her chest, with her head using Xels breasts as pillows. Twilight slept soundly, snuggling into Xel.
Xel smiled, hugging her close, wrapping her arms and legs around Twilight, before going to sleep as well.
Xel soon woke up with Twilight still in her arms, only with a book floating in front of her and reading happily. Xel smiled a little at this, sitting up to give Twilight a better position.
“Oh, morning,” Twilight said with a smile as she looks over to Xel. Xel smiled, kissing the back of her neck and hugging her tighter. Twilight simply giggled as she snuggled into Xel’s embrace.
“Morning,” She finally said, resting her head on top of Twilights. Twilight smiled as the two simply stayed in bed and reading a book in Twilight’s case. “So… the elements are still missing,” Xel brought up with a sigh.
“Yeah… and there’s no real way to figure out where they are…” Twilight lowered her head and made the book float over to the side.
“Have you… felt anything from yours?” Xel asked. “I mean, they’re like connected to you six now, right?”
“It’s… feels like something took something from me,” she whispered. “There’s a hole where I guess it was supposed to be but…” Xel soon started to feel Twi tremble a bit. Xel hugged her tighter, whispering soothing words. Soon she stopped trembling and sighed. “T-thanks.”
“Does it feel… ‘fuller’ occasionally, when you go somewhere? Maybe that's a hint?” Xel asked, kissing her cheek.
“Do you think I tried that? But… nothing? It’s like I should know where it is, but something is clouding where,” she whispered.
“Is there anywhere in Equestria that dampens magic?” Xel asked. “That could be where it is, and it’s messing with the ‘signal’.”
“I thought of that, I spent a whole week trying to see if there’s a place,” Xel blinked at her, now knowing the reason that Twi disappeared for a week. “But NO! There’s nothing! Zilch, nadda, I found, nothing.” With that, the unicorn crossed her arms and huffed adorably.
Xel sighed. “Well, when the time is right, I’m sure the elements will call to you,” Xel said, kissing her adorable girlfriend. Twilight on the other hand, grumbled over the fact that there’s something that she doesn’t know, and it’s bugging her.
“Hey… I never really met your friends, did I?” Xel questioned.
“Really, but what about- no wait we were doing something. How about… no you weren’t there, what about…” Xel watched as her girlfriend was trying to figure it out. It was oddly cute for her.
Xel booped her girlfriend's nose, giggling. “How about we just call a ‘meeting’ so I can get to know them?” She suggested.
“Okay, we’ll get a meeting at Sugarcube corner, We should go and tell Pinkie,” Twilight giggled a bit. “She’ll probably throw a small, ‘Meeting everyone party!’ or something.”
“Okay,” Xel said, smiling. The two soon untangled themselves and went downstairs. Xel saw Viriola still laying on the couch sleeping.
Xel smiled. “Hey, gimme a sec,” She said to Twi, before picking Viri up. “Gonna put her in bed,” She explained. As soon as she touched Vi-vi, she remembered something that she forgot; Don’t wake up Viriola. She tried to pull away but the damage was done as Xel soon found herself in a headlock.
“You forgot, didn’t you?” her sister said, a bit groggy for waking up.
“S-sorry, I-i wasn’t g-gonna wake you, I-i just w-wanted to take you u-upstairs and put y-you in bed,” Xel stuttered, a little scared. Viriola sighed before letting go.
“I’m fine here, thanks for the thought though,” she said as she laid back down. Xel rubbed her neck as she saw her sister already asleep. How she can get to sleep so quickly, she didn’t know.
Xel took a deep breath to calm down from the scare, before smiling and looking to her girlfriend. “Lets go,” She whispered. Twi nodded and the two walked out of the treehouse.
“Are you okay?” the unicorn asked, worry in her voice.
“Yeah… just a little shaken,” Xel said, giving her girlfriend a grin. Twilight frowned before wrapping her arms around Xel’s arm as the two continued to walk. This calmed Xel, and the two swiftly made it to Sugarcube corner. When the two walked in Xel’s vision was soon covered by something… pink.
“HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” a voice rang out. Xel let out a surprised yelp, flinging herself back a little, but only a step or two. What she saw was… a human? It was a woman with bright pink poofy hair wearing a baby blue t-shirt, shorts, and an apron. She also had a pink tail that was wiggling around.
Xel shook her head, before smiling. “Hello,” She said calmly.
“Pinkie, did you have to do that?” Twilight asked.
“Yes!” Pinkie said happily. Xel giggled a tiny bit, amused. Unknown to her, Pinkie disappear and reappeared beside her. “I’m betting you’re wondering why I look like this but I once looked like a pony?!?”
“Not really, I’m just rolling with it,” Xel said simply.
“Well~,” Pinkie pulled out a ring and put it on, her form soon changed to a pony version of her. “Isn’t this cool!” Xel nodded, tilting her head a little, wondering how that worked. “I have to say, taking one of the rings and I put it on, I was like ‘Whoa!!!!! This is cool!’ and others were like, ‘Yeah, that’s cool!’ and I was like-” Pinkie started to ramble off as she was now bouncing around. The others in the store seemed to pay no mind to this.
Xel blinked, looking to Twilight for help. Twilight shook her head. “Don’t ask,”
“Okay,” Xel said, shrugging.
“Pinkie, mind getting everyone here, they haven’t really met Xel yet,” Twilight asked the pink faunus.
“I wanna meet my girlfriend's friends,” Xel said, wrapping an arm around Twilight's shoulders. The unicorn blushed a bit as Pinkie smiled.
“Okay doky loky!” she said before disappearing into a pinkie-shaped cloud, leaving the two alone. Xel took this opportunity to kiss her girlfriend on the cheek. Twilight giggled at this.
“And now we wait,” Xel said, leaning on her.
“Yeah, but not for long,” Twilight said. The two walked over to a table and sat down beside each other. Xel snuggled against Twilight, taking a seat in her lap. Over the months Xel noticed that she seemed to have shrunken a bit, now standing about five foot five, which she was much smaller to Vi-Vi and Twilight. Twilight, in turn, didn’t notice it, simply going along with it as she wrapped her arms around Xel.
Xel turned around in her lap, resting her head on Twilight's breasts. Before when Xel did this, Twilight was oddly put off when she did it before hand but now she smiled, pulling Xel closer. Xel smiled at this, snuggling into her, curling up a little.
The door to the place soon opened and Xel saw Pinkie walking in. She saw some others following her in, a pegasus mare with a pink mane and yellow fur walked in a sundress. Next was a white unicorn with a styled purple mane in some sort of business suit that could have been made for going to a fancy party.
The next two were a bit odd, one had rainbow hair and tanned skin with wings coming out of her back. To Xel, they seemed more like angel wings. The woman wore a tank top and blue shorts. She also had something on her arm that had headphones that were in her ears. Lastly, another woman, blonde hair with a cowboy hat on and a plaid shirt with jeans walked in. She had freckles around her nose and cheeks and along her arms. Xel also noticed that she has a cow tail as well.
Xel blinked, before shrugging, waving them over and no moving otherwise. They all walked over after seeing this and Pinkie sat down in a chair happily.
“Howdy,” the blonde faunus greeted.
“Hello,” Xel said, turning so she could lean back into Twilight. The rest of them sat down and Pinkie asked for some drinks.
“So, this is Xel,” the other unicorn said in a posh tone. “Well darling, it’s nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you too,” Xel said with a smile.
“Xel, this is Rarity Belle, she runs and owns the boutique here in town,” Twilight said.
“If you need any new clothes, just swing on by.” the unicorn said with a smile. Xel nodded, before turning to the next pony.
“I’m Jacqueline Apple, but ya can call me Applejack, most others do,” the faunus greeted.
“Nice to meet you Applejack,” Xel said.
“Ya sister is a little odd, well more like always has a temper but she did help out around the farm,” Applejack said with a smile. “And if ya are worried that I take offense about that, I don’t really mind, I think she means well.”
“Okay,” Xel said, a bit confused at why she needed to be told that at all.
“U-umm…” Xel turned her head over to the pegasus who seemed to have her mane covering her face. She said something but Xel didn’t hear it.
“Sorry, what was that?” Xel asked gently.
“F-F-Flutter-s-shy,” she squeaked out before hiding herself a bit more.
“Nice to meet you Fluttershy,” Xel said with a smile. Xel soon turned to the other woman with wings and now got a better look at her. For one, she had some tattoos on her, one on her upper arm stood out the most to Xel.
Also, Xel had a feeling that she already met this woman before. Xel narrowed her eyes, the feeling bugging her now.
“Nice to see you, names Skyler Dash, Fastest flyer here mage,” she said.
“Nice to meet you Skyler,” She said, deciding she probably hadn’t met her before. Though the way she said mage sounds familiar. Applejack smacked Skyler in the arm.
“Ya really have to say that?” she asked.
“What? It’s a force of habit, you try to spend most of your life becoming a templar and trying to stop saying that,” the faunus argued. Xel felt Twilight tense a bit.
“It’s fine, I don’t mind,” Xel assured, shrugging. The faunus smiled at her as she leaned back a bit.
“And you already met me!” Pinkie said happily. Xel blinked at her for a moment and smiled.
“Of course, the party pony,” Xel said, nodding.
“Yes!” Pinkie soon put the ring back on and turned into a pony. “Best party pony ever!” The rest of the group started to laugh as their drinks came for each of them.
“By the way sugarcube, you can have this,” Applejack tossed a ring over to Pinkie. “It’s nifty but ah like being me, thank you.”
“Same here,” Skyler said, tossing the party mare(?) a ring as well. Xel blinked. How many of those things were there?
“If you’re wondering, three, there’s only three,” Twilight whispered. Xel nodded, leaning into her.
“So… anyone has a plan about the elements?” Applejack asked the group. They all looked at one another as Twilight seemed to shrink a bit.
“Well, first things first, have you guys felt any connection in any specific direction to them?” Xel asked. They all seemed to shake their heads.
“It’s like there’s a hole in you that seemed to never fill?” Twilight asked softy. With that, they nodded. Xel sighed, wishing one of the elements would call to them already or something.
“Well, what about this!” Pinkie said, pulling a book out of her hair and putting it down in front of them.
“Pinkie! Where you get this?!” Twilight asked, lunging forward to grab the book. Xel was almost thrown off of her lap when this happened but held on.
“Found it in the basement.” Pinkie said with a smile. Xel facepalmed. Twilight opened the book and began to read it. She nodded a bit at muttered something under her breath.
“What was that?” Xel whispered.
“I have no idea what this book says,” Twilight said with a big smile on her face. Everyone stared at her before Skyler facepalmed. Xel shook her head, giggling. “Ohhh, I’ll have to get some more books and figure it out how to read it and- oh! There’s images! They also don’t make any sense! Oh this is going to be fun!”
“Xel… I think you’re girlfriend is busted.” Skyler said.
“I have a fix,” Xel assured, grabbing the sides of Twilights head and kissing her on the lips. Twilight’s eyes widen as this happened. When Xel pulled away, Twilight seemed to be in a lost of words at the moment. Skyler gave her a golf clap.
“Back with us?” Xel asked, blushing a little. Twilight said something that no one could understand as she was in lala land at the moment. Xel giggled sheepishly. “Whoops, guess I did too good,” She said.
“Maybe,” a voice said. They group turned and saw a dwarf standing there. Xel blinked and saw that it was Verric from yesterday. He looked over at Xel. “Hello again.”
“Hey,” Xel said.
“Sorry to interrupt you meeting but I I have to say I might be able to help you with your problem that you all are having,” he said with a smile.
“How so?” Xel asked, leaning forwards.
“Well, let’s just say that I have some… contacts that I know of that may do some research on your elements that you all lost, that and if you need other things I’ll be more than happy to help,” he said.
“Like info on where they ended up?” Xel asked.
“It’s a big world out there,” he said simply.
“That doesn’t answer my question,” Xel commented. The dwarf smiled at her as he didn’t say anything.
“There’s a catch,” Skyler said with a frown.
“Well yes, there’s always a catch, when is there ever not a catch,” Verric commented. “The catch is that I may ask you for some jobs that need help with in the future, some small, some large, but nothing that over your skills.”
“So jobs where I’ll have to blast stuff?” Xel asked, before shrugging, “I’m fine with blasting things,” She said.
“I’ll remember to tell you that you can go blow stuff up,” the dwarf said. “Also if you have any stories from any past times, I would like to hear them.”
“Why?” Skyler asked.
“Well, I’m a bit of a storyteller and a writer,” he explained.
“Not really,” Xel said, shrugging.
“Well, if you do, come swing by the inn here, maybe we can chat,” he said before turning to Xel and offering his hand to her. She took it, shaking it and nodding. “Well then, I’ll be off, many things to do, things to set up, I might make a book about this.”
“Okay,” Xel said, waving. After hanging out with the others they all parted to do their own thing. Xel carrying Twi again who was still in lala land. Xel giggled, carrying her all the way home, and into the tree house, getting bed with her and laying on top of Twi. Getting a mischievous idea, she played with Twi’s breasts a little. She saw her blush a bit at this.
Giggling, Xel continued to play with her girlfriends confined b-cups, leaning forwards to kiss her. “Cmon, wake up silly,” Xel said.
Twilight blushed a bit more before snapping out of lala land and looking down at Xel. Xel stopped, smiling at her girlfriend. “Welcome back,” She said, giggling.
“H-Hi…” she blushed a bit more.
“So, we might have a lead on the elements,” Xel commented.
“T-That’s g-good,” Twilight stuttered a bit. Xel nodded, before resting her head on Twis breast, hugging her body and snuggling into her softness. Twilight blushed a little more but soon hugged her girlfriend as well.
“I love you,” Xel whispered. Twilight smiled a bit, still blushing mad.
“I love you too Xelly,” she whispered, kissing her head. Xel smiled widely, before letting a yawn escape herself. “Maybe we should change into something more comparable for bed.”
“Okay,” Xel mumbled sleepily. The two soon got out of bed and went to put on some PJ’s. Twilight’s is that of a purple t-shirt and some shorts while Xel’s in just a pair of footsie pajamas. Twilight giggled at the sight of it.
“You look adorable in those!” she said with a smile. Xel blushed, looking away and covering her face. Twilight walked over and pulled her hands away before hugging her smaller girlfriend.
Xel took this chance to hide her face in Twis chest, face beet red from embarrassment. Soon the two of them were laying in bed, Twilight hugging Xel as she hugged back, the smaller girlfriend snuggling into the tallers chest.
Twilight kissed Xel’s head as she became more entangled with Xel as they hugged. Xel yawned, smiling and falling asleep.
