//-------------------------------------------------------// Neither and Both -by cutedash55- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Before the Story Starts //-------------------------------------------------------// Before the Story Starts In case you haven't seen the tags up there, this is a second person story. Everything that happens within this story is being seen through an OC's point of view. Because of this, I'm  "You" will be taking the role of the Zebrican princess, Mirembe, who has been selected for an arranged marriage with Prince Blueblood. This marriage has been arranged to establish peace between the Equestrian kingdom and the tribal kingdom of Zebrica. (I say tribal kingdom, but it really is a bunch of tribes that all answer to one rule: your father, Tendaji. Since I do not yet have a picture of "you," I will simply have to describe "your" appearance: Mirembe is a young Zebrican with dark skin and white stripe-like markings on her arms, back, legs, neck, and cheeks. Her cutie mark (which appears on her shoulders) is a tribal drawing of a star, which represents her aptitude for tribal magic and alchemy. Her hair is longer than the average Zebrican and is normally kept in braids to ensure that it does not get in her way. She is of average height, but is still considered short, as Zebricans aren't very tall. Since Zecora's name orignates from the Oromo language in Ethiopia, I have based some of the Zebrican's culture on the culture of the Oromo people of Ethiopia. The average height for female Ethiopians is 5'2 (1.6 meters tall), hence why Mirembe is considered short by Equestrian standards. Now onto the actual story: the chapters will be structured like a combination of the typical story and a "your comments decide the plot" story. At the end of every chapter, there will be a set of options for you to choose from. Depending on the options that you vote for, the story may be affected greatly or may not be impacted at all. Because of this, I highly suggest that you pick carefully, as the decisions you make determine what direction the story goes in. The option that gets the most votes will be the option that determines what happens in the next chapter. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments of this chapter and I will answer as best as I can without spoiling the stories. If you see any grammatical or spelling errors, let me know and I will fix as soon as possible. Thank you for reading this introduction, and enjoy the story!
