//-------------------------------------------------------// Grudge -by Memoriam- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare You awake from your slumber to an empty carriage. Looking around for any other passengers you think to yourself "are we already there? Has everypony already gotten off while I was asleep?" Peering out the window next to your seat to confirm your suspicions your eyes find not a train station but blackness. It was still night, you can barely make out bushes moving past you outside the window. The train is still moving. Your confusion is interrupted by what sounds like the barking of a small dog. The strange sound is muffled and seems to be coming from the next carriage over. Opening the door to the next carriage over, where the curious yapping sound seems to be coming from, you notice this one seems empty to. "What the-" you are cut off by a "YAP YAP YAP" your ears swivel to pinpoint the barks. They seem to be coming from the front of the carriage. Now you are nervous, there is no sign of anypony else, the train is still steaming ahead and there is this barking. Slowly approaching the origin of the sound,  you feel your heart pound faster, your senses are all on edge. Finally you reach the seat.. A mare is sitting in the seat. Her head is slumped forward and her mane is covering her face. "Excuse me miss, are you awake?" She just sits there. You prod her with your hoof. No response.. "hey, are you alright?" You place your hoof under her chin, she feels cold, not cool but cold. Lifting her head up your heart turns cold, your pupils shrink to pinpricks and your knees begin to buckle as your eyes are met with a huge cut all the way around her throat. The blood around the gaping wound has dried into her fur. "YAP YAP YAP" your legs fail you as you fall on your back from the shock. Looking up to the cadaver, to the gaping slice in her throat. Your body is instantly paralysed by terror from what stares back at you. A little dog inside her throat, staring at you from within the gaping wound, covered in blood. Yapping. Yapping at you.
