Eyes of Power

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I groaned as my phone alarm let out its demonic noise. I covered my ears with the pillow but I could still feel it ring through my mind.

"Damn telepathic alarms" I grumbled whilst rolling towards my phone and turning the alarm off.

I lied there for awhile and I started to drift back to sleep but I quickly shot up from my bed after realizing the suns was out and school starts at 6.30.

"OH SHIT SCHOOL STARTS SOON!" I quickly teleported into the shower and with the help of my telekinesis I quickly scrubbed myself before teleporting out and putting my uniform on and then teleported to the kitchen and frantically ate a bowl of Weetabix

My mother a woman with blond hair and gold coloured eyes stared at me with a disapproving look.
'I go through all the effort of making your phone send you telepathic signals but you still ignore it *sigh* I give up with you sometimes Chris. My mother's voice echoed inside my head.

I smiled at her before gulping down all the milk left in the bowl before running towards the door but before I opened it I quickly looked myself over in the mirror.

I was a 15-year-old boy with brown hair and was wearing a pair of grey suit trousers, a light blue buttoned shirt with a dark blue tie, a pair of high tech smart black trainers that protects my feet and makes me feel like I'm running barefoot on a nice carpet and my CATTA (Computer attached to the arm) which is a orange leather glove that covers my entire left arm and has various circuits and other computer bits including a slot to insert my phone in and I was wearing grey blazers imprinted with my school's logo which was a black spire. I was a pretty average boy, the only noticeable feature I had were my eyes, one was pink and one was purple. let me explain this to you, I'm what you call a Supernatural or Homo Supernatural if you want to act all smart. we're basically identical to normal humans except we are stronger, faster and we can alter the world around us, in a way we can use magic but a person can only have one ability that gives them control over something and what that person controls depends on their eye colour, example blue is water and red is fire.

I am one of the few Supernaturals who have two abilities, my eyes are pink for teleportation and purple for telekinesis, my mother with the gold-coloured eyes has the ability to influence people's mind like telepathy or outright mind control them, I remember this one time when this one person was following us around and then tried to mug us but she just took control of his mind and made him turn himself in, though there are ways to prevent that if you're smart.

Of course, the bad thing of having a mother who can control your mind is that she can sometimes lose control and make the people around her go insane. sadly that happened to my father when they were... making me. he ended up committing suicide several days after my brother was born. despite all the treatment he kept on having to deal with the demons from the Cloak and he just gave it all up and jumped off a building.

I looked next to the mirror and saw a picture of my parent's wedding. my father had brown hair and black eyes meaning he had power over shadows.

I looked at a another picture to see me smiling whilst my little brother Keith was sitting on my shoulders. he was a 8 year boy who looked exactly like me except he had light blue eyes, meaning he has the power over the air.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked to see my mother staring at me with a bored face.
"You have two minutes before school starts, get going or the school will call me again and try to talk to me about your attendance." My mother said thankfully not through telepathy as that starts to get really annoying. "Oh and Keith is already there, I had to send him of as he was spending too much time trying to wake you up."

I sighed and calmly walked out of the house, and looked around. me and my mother live on a street that is quite high up giving me a clear view of the land below and if I try hard enough I could see the silhouette of the massive spire shaped tower that is my school which is annoyingly 20 miles away but that's where the wonders of teleportation.

Though there is a slight problem. If you teleport more than 10 miles in one go then you will have to enter the Cloak and from what it has done to my dad it is NOT a pleasant place and I have to go through it which would be bad for others but since I have abilities that require a deeper connection to the Cloak, I get given special training that teaches me ways to avoid and in extreme cases to defend myself against the demons that inhabit the Cloak.

After running back in the house and grabbing some med packets, I slowly ripped a hole in the fabric of time and space and legged it like there was an evil goose behind me.

The Cloak is like the normal world but the sky is full of countless glowing dots which in theory are gateways to different universes and everything here is a lot smaller and whilst running towards my school I looked at the people going along with their lives. They looked like little specks to me but I quickly ignored it as I heard a sinister voice drill its way through my mind.

"THE LIGHT YOU BRING WILL DIE, THE LIGHT INSIDE YOU WILL DI-" I turned around and looked at the demon which surprised it as it probably wasn't expecting someone who's barely a young adult to stare at it

"Two wrongs don't make a right, take your parents for example." The demon looked at me in shock before it slowly started to cry. "Fuck off before I take a page from undertale and slam dunk you to oblivion you ugly pile of shit!"

The demon then dissolved into a pool of tears, it's funny how easy it is to get rid of lesser demons, all you have to is think of a bad insult and they dissolve in a pile of their own tears.

After that, I walked up to my school which despite how small the world looked like in the Cloak, it still reached up to my neck.

I opened a portal in front of me and jumped through it only to be met with a face full of hardened glass as hit the window like a drunk seagull and then proceeded to fall down the spires 2km length.

"OHSHITOHSHITOHSHITHOLYBLOODYCHRISTFUCKSHITCUNTBITCHFUCKITYBITCHFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK!!!" I swore as loud as I could as wind started bash painfully against my face, forcing me to shut my eyes.

After a few more seconds of swearing I started to push myself down faster with my telekinesis and occasionally teleporting, I managed to control where I was going and glided to the school.

I started humming mission impossible theme song as I gently made contact with the school's walls and with the help of telekinesis, my hands connected to the walls and I slid down towards my classrooms window.

I past the mirror of another class and flipped them off because I can and I don't like the looks they gave me.

After a few more minutes of sliding and being stared at by the other students I finally got to my classroom window and teleported through and rolled up to my desk and sat down.

Everyone stared at me dumbfounded for a second before shaking it off and going back to chatting with each other as they most likely gotten used to it by now.

The person sitting next to me punched me in my shoulder playfully. he is my best friend/only friend and his name was Thomas Light, a 16-year-old boy with green hair and yellow eyes meaning he has power over electricity.

"Bloody hell, I could hear you swearing from all the way down here. who knew you could scream so loud." Thomas chuckled.

"How about you try falling from atop of the building without screaming. if you want I will gladly push you off." I joked

Thomas was about to say something but him and the rest of the class shut up as walking through the door was Mrs Brown, the bitchiest of bitches in all of Bitchland. her hair and eyes were grey, she was basically a bitchy version of magneto.

"ADAM!" she bellowed

"Here miss."

"ANDY!"

"HERE!"

"CHRISTIAN!"

"I FELL FROM AN ALTITUDE HIGHER THAN THE BUILDING AND SLID DOWN THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING AND NO ONE CARES BECAUSE I'M THAT GREAT!" I shouted but I was ignored.

"DAVID!"

"HI!"

"FRANK!"

"Top of the morning to ya."

"GEORGE!"

"Good morning."

"HARRY!"

"Morning."

"IAN!"

"YES MISS!"

"JACK!"

A hand at the back of the classroom went up.

"LEON !"

"Fuck off." Everyone looked at Leon with shocked looks but luckily for him Miss didn't care or he doesn't exist and we're all going mad.

"THOMAS!"

"HAIL!"

"Alright it seems everything is in ord- WAKE THE HELL UP JACK BEFORE I DO THE SAME TO YOU THEN WHAT CHRIS DID TO HIMSELF EARLIER!" She shouted to the back of the classroom before turning towards me. "GET THE 'ELL OUT YOU FREAK!" I raised my hands in the air and backed out of the classroom and into the bright long corridors.

Soon after Thomas walked out of the classroom. "Were you sent out too?" I asked

Thomas looked at me then gave me a massive smile "I'M GETTING MY CHIP INSTALLED!" He jumped in the air before flinging down the corridor, leaving small sparks behind.

"Lucky bastard." I rubbed my tongue against the metal plate implanted in the top of my mouth.

After a while of standing around doing nothing, I turned on my CATTA which projected a holographic screen with a picture of the White Cliffs of Dover and several icons for computer programs to the left of the screen.

I have maths in 15 minutes." I said to myself as I looked at the date which read 7:15 6/7/2120 clicked on one the icons which opened a folder with a bunch of old games and continued my game of Stellaris.

Before I knew it the bell was ringing and the once empty corridor was flooded with people going to their lessons.

Not wanting to go through the crowds I teleported several floors up and entered my SINTC (Safety In The Cloak) class. a subject that is only given to Supernaturals who have a strong connection to the Cloak, me especially so since I have two powers that require a strong connection to that realm.

As soon as I walked in my teacher Mr Black a man with a buffed build and a pale skin tone stared right at me with his red and black slitted eyes filling me with terror.

I looked around the room to see the rest of the class either knocked out or have the same eyes.

"Hello Christian." Mr Black said in a monotone voice."I'm glad you could join us."

"Holy shit, how the hell?" I looked to the spot where the demon alarm is meant to be only to find it in pieces. "You are fucking joking!"

A golden mist started to fill the room. "This isn't a joke Chris. we have ascended, we have become more, why don't you come here and we will show you how." They all spoke at the same time

"I'm sorry but you taught me to not go anywhere near possessed. how did he managed to get possessed, he the one who teaches us to prevent that for god sake." I back up into to the corridor.

"Don't make me force you Chris, I can easily make you my slave." As soon as they said that I felt my mind being assaulted and I was being willed by voices to move towards them.

"*Grunts* GO FUCK YOURSELF!" Before I took another step I thought of the sound of an air raid siren which shut up the voices and caused the Possessed to fall over and clutch their heads in pain.

"AAAARG DAMN YOU MORTAL!" Mr Black shouted before him and the rest of the possessed bodies started to leak the golden mist and they slowly became a cloud with glowing red eyes.

They all got up and charged at me."OH SHIT!" I turned around and ran as fast as I could down the corridor whilst shouting as loud as I can to get everyone's attention.

"DEMONS, DEMONS, MOTHERFUCKING DEMONS, THERE'S DEMONS HERE MOTHERFUCKERS SOMEONE SET THE ALARM OFF NOW YOU TWATS!" I screamed as I was chased by a massive golden cloud.

Nobody heard me as the walls were soundproofed and all the doors were locked so I continued to run. Luckily my more then human body allows me to sprint towards 60mph so I'm well ahead of the demons.

I quickly turned around and saw a crowd of people in the other corridor.

I sprinted towards them whilst waving my arms and shouting. "DEMONS THERE BE DEMONS SOMEONE PRESS THE ALARM NOW!"

They all look towards me and gasped as they saw the cloud behind me and one of them sprinted towards an alarm and slammed it on.

As soon as they went off, everyone started to running out of their classrooms and I turned around and 'grabbed' all the demons and threw them into the wall whilst the demons were hit by a hail of ice, water, fire, lightning, explosions and many other things.

The mist reseeded away from the demons to reveal the deformed bodies of the possessed who charged towards, completely ignoring all but the most violent of projectiles.

I shot my hand out and my purple eye started glowing then I quickly started to my hand in random directions, causing some of the demons to be flung into the walls and ceiling.

"BITE THE WALLS YOU KNOBHEADS!" I pulled one of the demons towards before giving it a crushing punch enhance by small invisible portals in front of the fist which gave it a boost in speed.

"MORE DEMONS!" Someone warned us as everyone looked behind us to see a massive horde of demons running towards us while hellishly wailing.

The alarms then got louder as a voice resonated throughout the school. "ALERT ! ALERT ! DEMONS REPORTED ON FLOORS 86 TO 253 !"

"WE GOT A DEMON INFESTATION!" Someone else shouted.

"FUCKING LEG IT!" I ordered everyone as we ran towards the smaller group of demons which we quickly killed off before continuing to run.

I saw several golden beams shoot pass us and then I heard several screams as some people got hit but most of us continued to run.

"HELP ME CHRIS!" I looked behind me to see my little brother Keith get hit in the leg by a laser.

I went to turned around and get him but he was minced by a volley of lasers.

I stood there in shock as several demons jumped on him and tore it apart and ate his insides. Keith screamed through the whole thing whilst he was being eaten.

The others shouted at me to run but I just stared in shock at Keith's eyes pleading to me to help him before a demon ripped his heart from his body.

I was snapped out of the shock as I felt my sides being singed. I clenched my fist in rage as my eyes both began to glow. "You motherfucking ABOMINATIONS!" The demons eating Keith were flattened by an intense force or ripped apart as the entire building started to shake.

"Why? Why does my baby brother have to suffer this. WHY CAN'T YOU DEMONS LEAVE US ALONE!" A demon rushed me, only to be crushed and splattering me with blood.

I felt I surge of power when I felt the droplets of blood patter against my face.

More demons were pulverized by my suddenly immense telekinetic power and the entire building started to shake violently.

"COME ON! RUN TOWARDS ME! HIT ME! HIT ME THEN DIE!" My vision went red either from rage or their blood going in my eyes, I don't care which one as every time one was crushed a felt a burst of power and each time I felt that power, the building shook more violently.

'KILL! MAIM! DISMEMBER! KILL! MAIM! DISMEMBER! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL THEM ALL!' A loud voice rang through my head as the golden mist of the demons was replaced by a red-purple mist as they were all torn apart.

Once the last of the demons were being killed off. Keith started to crawl towards me, his entrails trailing behind him. he reached his hand out to me. "H-h-help m*SPLAT*." Keith exploded as soon as he touched me.

The Building stopped shaking and the mist disappeared as I was showered by Keith's guts.

I slowly looked at the bloody remains of my brother and then to my bloody hands. I fell to my knees and stared at my surroundings.

The corridor was filled with the blood and guts of the demons and when I looked behind me, I saw the flattened remains of human bodies.

"oh my god, what have I done, what have I done." I picked up Keith's flattened head and stared into his lifeless eyes.

"CHRIS! ARE YOU IN HER- oh sweet lord." Thomas ran into the corridor only to see the bloody carnage and me in the middle of it all. "W-w-w-what happened?"

"I killed them all." I answered.

"Well yes you did kill th-"

"I KILLED THEM ALL TOM! ALL OF THEM! EVEN PEOPLE I WAS RUNNING WITH! Even my little brother." I continued to stare at his lifeless face.

"ARGH WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS." Thomas grabbed me and dragged me out of the corridor. I didn't move. I just dropped Keith's head and gazed at the demon blood trail I'm leaving on the floor as Thomas dragged me to an elevator and pressed the button leading to the ground floor.

I just sat there and listened to the elevator music. Thomas said something to me but I couldn't hear him as I have zoned everything out and focused on the Music.

After a few minutes the elevator doors opened and Thomas dragged me towards the sports hall and on the way we ran into another group and Thomas had them pick me up and carry me to the hall. Despite leaving the elevator, the music was still playing through my head as I stared blankly at the ceiling.

After some more walking we arrived at the sports hall which is a large mile long and half a mile wide and it was full of students, staff and some visitors. there were also stretchers filled wounded and dead. A nurse walked over to us and had the people who were carrying me place me on a stretcher then she sent them off started applying a gel onto to wounds I didn't know I had. A few hours later she called Thomas over and talked to him. most probably about the what happened

They talked for awhile until the entire area shook before they both ran towards the hall entrance. I lied there for a few seconds before I felt something hit me.

Turning around I saw Keith's head staring at me and the music in my head stopped as I slowly looked up to see a massive 50ft tall beast that looked like a giant eagle made out of bones and bits of flesh from the possessed that had its beak filled with bodies. All being exact copies of my baby brother.

My vision went red again as I jumped of the stretcher and teleported onto the beast's head confusing the beast and climbed down towards its right eye and thrusting my gloved left fist into it.

The beast let out a roar of agony before throwing me of its head and went to impale me with its talons but just as it was about to hit me it was crushed by the same immense force from earlier.

Taking advantage of its pain Thomas ran towards it and shot a lighting bolt into a weak area on its chest and it went right through it.

Enraged, the beast swatted Thomas away with its wing before extending a sharp bone from its wing and swinging it at me.

Everything slowed down as the blade was about to cut me in two and I then was surrounded by the red-purple mist again and the voice from earlier came back. "GRAB IT! DESTROY IT! RIP IT APART!"

Time went back to normal and on instinct my hands shot out and grabbed the wing, shocking the beast which allowed me to throw the blade away. It then came back down and I grabbed it again. I grunted from the effort but I did the impossible and picked the damn thing up and chucked it across the room.

I felt something in my hand and afterwards I teleported onto the things back and began to cut the bastard into pieces whilst running up it and after I reached its head I jumped into the air and gave it a blast of pure telekinetic force which caused the body of the beast to explode into lovely giblets.

I landed back on the ground and stared at the thing in my hand. It looked like a European longsword but it was made of the red-purple mist.

Twirling the sword around a bit , I walked towards the sports hall entrance and saw a horde of demons fighting the supernaturals. Of course that what a normal person would see but what I saw was the demons ripping apart my little brother.

I tightly gripped the sword before running towards a large 12ft tall demon. Everything I pass being crushed by the immense pressure surrounding me.

The demon stared and laughed at me before firing a golden ball at me but as soon as it got within a few feet of me, it was thrown into the ground then bounced into group of demons.

The demon didn't seem to care as it fired several more before its arms were crushed and I decapitated it.

I then ran towards another demon and did the same thing again and again. I was tearing the demon horde apart, it was like I wasn't in control of myself as just killed everything around me without a second thought whilst the same words repeated in my head over and over again.

"KILL! MAIM! DISMEMBER! KILL! MAIM! DISMEMBER! KILL! MAIM! DISMEMBER! KILL! MAIM! DISMEMBER!"It got to the point were I was chanting the words aloud as demons upon demons swarmed the room, all of them focussed on me as I tore them apart and those that I didn't cut open were crushed by the immense pressure I am emitting surrounding me.

It felt like hours. Me standing at the entrance, destroying all demons that try to get past me whilst everyone watches in horror and the school gets flung through the Cloak.

'Wait WHAT!' I dropped my sword and looked up to see a massive hole in the ceiling and saw the shrinking image of the earth as we are flung past massive demons and spirits and towards one of the glowing dots in the distance.

"OH SHIT!" my vision went back to normal and the mist disappeared as I panicked.

As the mist disappeared I noticed that the school was shaking REALLY violently and stopped shaking when the mist was gone.

"CHRIS WHAT DID YOU DO!" Thomas shouted.

I looked at Thomas and noticed everyone else was staring at me.

I stared at them with fear. "I've just thrown us towards another universe." As soon as that was said we passed through the golden dot and the school was shaking again.

I looked through the hole to see we were falling down somewhere, I couldn't really see as I could only see the sky but the shaking tells me we were falling.

I went to walk over to a safer area but the whole building shook more aggressively and I was flung through the hole.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-OOOOF!" As I was flung out my head hit an exposed beam and my vision started to darken.

I managed to stay awake as my rage was still there, allowing me to see I was heading towards a frozen wasteland.

Not knowing what will happen, I turned my body so that my back was facing the ground and I could see the sky.

"Looks like there's a storm com-" I was interrupted by the sound of ice breaking and the feeling of freezing water. I tried to swim up but I lightning strike hit the water and caused me to convulse and sink into the water.

Accepting my fate I slowly closed my eyes.
