Won't You Have Dinner With Me?
Twilight Sparkle was sitting in a cafe while she read a book that she had borrowed from a library and was going to have to return it. Soon she finished it and went home and then put a reminder on it that it needed to be taken back the day of its return deadline was issued for it so that it could be returned before any she was charged with any late fees that she would have to pay.
After she got home she sat down and groaned in annoyance from the prospect of having to work that day. She didn't need anymore eork. She cleared her desk just in case if she got any scrolls from Princess Celestia that she needed to read. She waited for somepony to send her mail.
She waited for an hour and was pleased that nopony wrote to her. She sat up and stretched her limbs as she hadn't used them much that morning while she went to pick out a book to read to relax her. She then sat back down and read without any distractions from anypony and that's the way she liked it. While she read her book she relaxed.
Then she heard somepony call for her. The voice sounded recognizable but she couldn't quite figure out who it was. She sat up and went over to the door. She stopped and opened the door with her magic. Applejack grinned at her. Applejack looked excited to Twilight. Twilight looked at her. She wondered why Applejack was so excited.
"What is it AppleJack? I just got home. Do you need any help? How can I be of service? How can I help you?" Twilight asked her friend as she smiled. Applejack smiled and prepared her offer for Twilight and then told Twilight her offer. She hoped that Twilight would say yes to her kind offer that she was offering Twilight.
"I'm having dinner. Do you wanna to join me? You haven't joined me before so i thought it would be nice if I invited you to have dinner with me tonight." She said. Twilight had no idea on what to decide. She wasn't even planning on going anywhere that day. She was going to stay home. She looked Applejack over and spoke.
"I'm actually not sure what I want to do today. I don't know if I'm going anywhere. I can't make up my mind and as far as I know doesn't happen to me that pften as I always know what I want to do but for some reason I don't know. I did have something prepared tonight and I don't want to waste it." Twilight said. Applejack frowned. She spoke to Twilight.
"Twilight the dinner can be rescheduled for another night if you can't go." Applejack mentioned to her. Twilight nodded as she was in deep thought. She turned her head and looked back to her place.
"Can I not just go anywhere tonight? I don't know what I want to do for some reason I can't make up my mind! I don't know if I want to go to a diner or have dinner with you. Besides alls you serve is Apple dishes and I think I've had enough of that when I had dinner with you before. Going to a diner would be easer than going to somepony's house just to have dinner." Twilight ranted.
She had no idea Twilight would be upset at her just for asking her it go to dinner. She couldn't believe that Twilight accused her of only serving Apple dishes. She served other stuff besides that.
Applejack quickly walked away. She didn't feel like going back to the farm either or her family will see her being upset and wonder what's wrong. She sat alone at a river bank. She silently cried from Twilight screaming at her. She wished that Twilight would apologize.
Applejack sat in her place as she cried from Twilight's harsh words. She wiped at her eyes due to Twilight's rudeness. She wondered why Twilight reacted like that. She also wondered why Twilight couldn't choose to go to one and then have one of them reschedule the other.
She closed her door so that nopony bothered her. She just said at there as she cried. While she sat there she thought about Twilights response as she couldn't believe Twilight could be so mean like how she was. It was unlike Twilight to be rude.
Then before she knew it she heard a knock on her door. She called to them to come in and Twilight opened the door and came up to her. She sat up and looked at Twilight and saw that Twilight had tears in her eyes. She stood up and faced Twilight. Twilight wiped away her tears and spoke to Applejack.
"Im sorry Applejack. I just couldnt make up my mind. I got upset because I didn't know which one to choose. It wasn't right of me to say that. I'm so sorry Applejack. Please forgive me!" Twilight said.
stated.
"Thanks Applejack." She said to Applejack. Applejack nodded and smiled at Twilight.
"That's perfectly fine by me!" She said. Applejack amd Twilight had dinner together at a diner than at Applejack's place but Applejack didn't mind. Twilight couldn't believe how upset she got as she had no reason to get upset but she was glad that the matter was dealt with.
Both of them had a great time as they had fixed the issue so that Twilight could go to both. Twilight and her friends were happy that they had fixed the problem together. They all went home as they were all satisfied that the dinners worked out perfectly.
