Revelation

Twilight was near a water fountain She had finished walking for exercise and was now sitting on a bench watching the ponies go by and just resting before she went home so she could continue resting there. Twilight looked around at the area as she wanted to see if her friends were there as well. It would be convenient if they were but she didn't expect that to happen.

While she sat on the bench by the water fountain she wondered where what her friends were doing and what she was going to do the next day. She didn't have a lot of work to do but she did have to Sfix a cracked old bookcase back home or else it will collapse on her and she didn't want that as it would cause more damage than what's been happening to it.

As she sat there she saw Lyra walking by her looking upset. Twilight wondered why Lyra was sad and what caused her to be sad. Twilight watched her pass by but didn't say anything as she didn't want to bother Lyra as she knew that Lyra probably wanted to be alone. She turned back to the water fountain.

While she looked at the water fountain and relaxed she looked back over at Lyra and wondered why Lyra was so upset at that moment. She had the feeling that she should comfort Lyra but she feared that it might make Lyra sadder and she didn't want to do that to Lyra.

Twilight wondered about the possibilities that upset Lyra. She wondered if it was about BonBon. She wanted to know why BonBon wasn't with her. She tried to think of a reason BonBon wasn't comforting her. She contemplated about sitting by Lyra but she didn't want to startle her as she seemed to be very upset and startling her would probably make it worse for Lyra. It would make Twilight feel horrible if she did that so she decided to ask Lyra in a calm manner,

She wanted to help Lyra feel better as she hated seeing ponies being sad but she didn't know if she had the nerves to walk over to her and talk to her to try and see why she was upset and how she could be cheered up. Twilight didn't know what to say to Lyra to ask about her crying. She knew that she had to be gentle with Lyra if she was going to get answers from Lyra. After a few more minutes of thinking Twilight finally makes up her mind and walks over to Lyra cautiously. She sat down and looked at Lyra. Lyra looked at her.

"Twilight? Did you come over here to hear about why I was upset?" Lyra asked through her tears. Twilight nodded at Lyra and rubbed Lyra's back. Lyra looked at the ground and then continued.

"Yes I am. I want to see what's wrong. You seem to be down about something. I watched you because I was concerned about you so I came over here to see if I could help. Why are you crying?" Twilight asked her. Lyra wiped the tears away from her eyes, face and responded to her friend.

"Twilight I need to tell you something important. Something I'm afraid to say. Its something I have thinking about....do you hate me?" Lyra asked Twilight. Twilight couldn't believe Lyra would think that she hated her when she didn't. She spoke in response.

"No of coarse not? Why? Why would anypony hate you? Hate shouldn't exist in Equestia it should be stopped as it was disgusting. If your saying this because somepony said that they hated you then you need to tell them to fuck off." Twilight Sparkle said.

"Because....I have a non traditional relationship with BonBon..." Lyra said. Twilight let the info seek into her mind until she asked Lyra for context on the sentence. She then spoke to Lyra.

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked. Lyra was very nervous but she had to get through this. She couldn't believe Twilight needed to ask as if she didn't know what she meant but she clarified it for Twilight anyway. She was scared of Twilight's reaction.

"It means that I have a romantic relationship with BonBon. I love her so much that she makes my world go around. I can't live without her. She is great. Please understand. Don't hate me." Lyra told Twilight. Twilight processed this extra information and then thought for a few moments.

Those few moments felt like pure agony. She was so scared of what Twilight might say. She braced herself for what Twilight might say in response to her revelation. Soon Twilight spoke.

"There's nothing wrong with that. I sorry if I got you upset by asking you about what that meant as I didn't know if it was platonic or romantic. I don't hate you. I cant hate you. I'm not against it either if you ask that as well." Twilight said. Lyra felt so overjoyed.

"Thanks for understanding Twilight." Lyra said. She then hugged Twilight. Twilight hugged her back. Lyra was glad to get that off her chest. She was so nervous about what Twilight might think about her. Lyra was relieved to hear that from Twilight as Twilight didn't mind her relationship with BonBon

They then both switched to happier topics and then later she introduced BonBon to Twilight and they both shook hands and Twilight offered them good luck in their relationship. Twilight then went home and Lyra went home as well. BonBon also went home.

Lyra was happy that Twilight understood while Twilight was happy for Lyra and BonBon Lyra was glad that Twilight didn't act mean.
