I GIVE THANKS TO SILVER CHARGER FOR IDEA HELP. 1 Year Ago... "You can't do this to me!" I yelled at my father and mother, "You can't disown me! I thought you loved me!" "You're a disgrace. We don't need or want you" they said. I couldn't believe this. My own parents betrayed me, threw me out into the streets. Leave me with nothing. I couldn't take this betrayl, it's too much. I let a single tear run down my face. Then three crystals of pure darkness and hatred sprout out of the ground, empowering me with their energy. All the sadness I felt was replaced by feelings of pure hatred. "You betrayed me! You never loved me! You hated me! You always loved everything you had, EXCEPT ME!!!" They stood there in comeplete fear of what I can do, what my new power can do. The one thing I didn't know was my jet black coat, my new metallic colored mane, and the glow of red hatred in my eyes. "You always hated me! Everyone has! I had no friends! I never truly lived! And now I have nothing left..." I started to cry in my rage. The crystals shattered, turning my rage into comeplete pain. Everything about my changed, everything visual about me, darkened with pain, sadness, rage, hatred. I start to scream in agony, the pain is too much, I started to lose control. With the new found power, lightning of shadows shot down. They scattered and hit everyhthing excluding my now ex-parents. Tornadoes, Tempests, Hurricanes, Wildfires, everything blazed around me, eminating a dark energy. A beam of pure light shot out at me, dispellling the dark energy from my system. I saw Celestia and all her glory, staring down at me. I whisper two words to them, all of them, "I'm.... Sorry..." Then before blacking out, I saw something, my origional cutie mark, a blazing red flame, gone... 3rd Person POV... Celestia stood over the limp body of Dusk Heart, a young Pegasus, seemingly stopping his future then and there. "He is gone now. He has lost truly, everything" Celestia said, lowering her head. "Well now he won't be a burden on anyone else!" the father said, "He's been nothing but trouble to everyone!' The mother nodded in agreement. "You know nothing, he has lost his own life and that's all you can think Blaze Fighter? Has all he caused is trouble? What would he do instead if his parents actually loved him? I have seen this happen before, but the punishment was not as severe. You, Blaze Fighter and Highjewel, caused his death. I will be taking him back to Canterlot." Highjewel looked like she might have a breakdown. Blaze Fighter just asked, "Why?" "I can restore him" Celestia responded. "Why bring that trash back to life?" Blaze Fighter asked, "He is worth nothing!" "Everyone is worth something" Celestia responded before teleporting herself and Dusk Heart's body back to Canterlot to be restored. 1 YEAR LATER (3 Days before the Summer Sun Celebration, aka, the day Twilight goes to Ponyville)... Dusk Heart's restoration is nearly complete. Celestia's new found cure is working to an extent. The only thing it can't restore is memories, which he can live without. Noone except Celestia and a young unicorn who worked in the medical labs of the royal staff knew about him, the unicorn was Freezin, the one unicorn in existance (at the time) that had the ancient/lost enchantment of ice, allowing unbelieveable control over ice/snow magic. He was observing the progress of the restoration in the medical lab. "The progress is going as planned, I can't belief something like that can happen, especially to someone so young. The magic incorperated into this did require the power of my enchantment and Celestia's ancient magic to be weakened, but it will be worth it to have this pegasus live again" Freezin said to himself. Suddenly, the magic started to disperse and Freezin felt a sudden surge of energy in himself. "This is definitely not supposed to happen!" Freezin said to noone in particular, "I have to tell Celestia!" "I'm already here," Celestia said to the young unicorn, "And this means that the restoration is comeplete. Dusk Heart has been saved from his death. And it's all thanks to you, without the enchantment's power, I couldn't have done this without that power." "Well you could haeve if you were still linked to the elements" Freezin replied. The energy then dispersed at the end of that statement and the pegasus fell to the ground. "We have to send him off to a new life now," Celestia told Freezin, "He has to live a new life." "I know, he remembers basic skill like breathing, eating, walking, flying, and everything. But still, will we ever see him again?" Freezin asked. "I know we will. I'm sending him to the location of the next Summer Sun Celebration, something is going to happen. It IS the thousanth year now." "Okay, we'll send him off now, but we need to make it so he has amnesia from an injury, a survivable one" Freezin remarked. "That's why, as much as I don't want to, we're gonna make him crash." As Celestia finished her statement, her horn glowed and teleported/blasted Dusk Heart to the skies above Ponyville. "We'll have to send the mayor a request right? You know, for a house and everything? Not to mention a job" Freezin asked. "We don't have to worry about that, his job is now on the weather team of Ponyville and I'm pretty sure someone will help him with housing" Celestia replied with a wink towards Freezin. "What do you- oh, you told someone?" Freezin asked. "Not exactly, but he's gonna find someone instead." "I'm not sure what that means but I'm guessing he's gonna find a friend" Freezin said. "Exactly" Celestia said in a matter of factly tone as a note appeared in front of her, "And now, it's time to start his new life." Chapter 1: A New FriendI DO NOT OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT DUSK HEART AND FREEZIN (and some added or changed text, FiM is owned by Hasbro) Dusk Heart's POV: Well I wake up from a peaceful yet long sleep I think. I REALLY don't know. And the next thing I know, I'm falling over some kind of forest, it looks, well, scary like. The ground is getting closer, really close. Then I realize something, I'm not panicking. "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Then, I crashed, going through 5 trees, 2 bushes, and creating a crater in the ground. Oh, and there's a mare pegasus flying over head questioning what happened, until impact anyway where it sounded like there was an explosion. Oh, and I’m in pain. Man am I oblivious. I groan aloud and hope that damage to me is minimal. I try moving, but just fall back into the dirt because of so much pain. I scream in agony, and I see the pegasus fly down towards me. "Uhh you okay? That was a bad wipeout." "I just fell out of the sky going over 50 mile per hour, managed to crash into 2 bushes and 5 trees, knocking them all down and into the crater, and every time I move, it hurts like crud and I scream in obvious agony. I'm just peachy." I reply in a sarcastic tone. "Well sorry! Well I'm gonna take you to a hospital or something now, and don't try to argue." "No! I hate hospitals! I think, I don't really remember much" I reply. "Ughhh. Fine, you can stay with me I guess." Oh thank the heavens. I hate hospitals I think. I think I have memory loss of something. She tried to lift me onto her back, which caused me to scream in agony. "Oh quit your whining!" She said with a smirk. Ughh. I'll cooperate, I mean, I don't really have a choice anymore. 5 minutes later... THAT was fast. And I mean FAST! She's the fastest thing I’ve ever seen! Oh and I'm still in pain. Which is healing, unnaturally fast? I wonder how that's possible... "Well you have some kind of amnesia" the mare said, "And if you're wondering, the name's Rainbow Dash." "Well sorry for being a burden on you, I have no idea what, where, or who I am. Just my name, which, by the way, is Dusk Heart" I respond. "Well I know you're the strange pony and all, but no cutie mark? You’re old enough to have a special talent!" "uhh..." I responded with dumbly. "Yeah... I have no idea what that is." Instant Facehoof. "Wow you're dumb." "Well at least I remember one thing; I'm probably faster than you." She then stood there gawking. "IM THE FASTEST PEGASUS THERE EVER IS OR WAS! I CAN TOTALLY BEAT YOU HOOVES DOWN!" "Riiiiiiggggghhhhttttt.... If I'm able to fly right now, I could beat you. I know that." I try to fly again, and wince at the slowly decreasing pain. It's healing fast and I should be able to fly in about 15 minutes or sooner. "Well, I better go and find the new weather pegasus. I got a note saying there will be a new pegasus, a weather pegasus. It was one note too, from the princess herself! She said that there would be a new pegasus that would come soon after I read the note." "Well that could be me" I reply to Rainbow Dash. "Once you're better, I'm testing how fast you can clear the sky to see if you can be that pegasus" Rainbow Dash said. "Okay then 'Dashie'." The little nickname I gave her put a light blush on her face, either because she liked it, or because she liked when I said it and became flustered. Either that or I'm stupid and must be seeing things. "D-Don't call me that!" That means I'm hallucinating. "Okay then? What's wrong with it?" "EVERYTHING! You must have a natural talent for annoying people." "Guess it comes in the family, I dunno." She sighs and said, "Well at least I know that I can annoy you too." "How so?" I ask, pretty much signing the contract of my embarrassment. "I dunno 'Duskie', How can I?" Smart girl, using my own trick against myself. I think my cheeks are getting hotter, but barely, indicating I'm blushing. "Uhh... Let's not call each other that till we can handle not being so flustered." We both chuckle at the remark and Rainbow Dash gave a slight nod. "I can tell that we're gonna be friends Dusk." About an hour later... Well I passed my exam with flying colors, matching Rainbow Dash's speed by clearing the skies in 10 seconds flat. So she decided to reward me with trying to help me remember things. So far I remember basic skills, and my dream of being a Wonderbolt, an elite flying team. Those things I'm positive about, I don't remember much else, so we decide to go and practice tricks for the Wonderbolts which would be coming in a few days for this Summer Sun Celebration. Rainbow Dash and I have to clear the skies but we both thought, later. We decide to work/learn some tricks and work and or develop duo tricks. We started with simple tricks like barrel rolls, loop-de-loops, speed boosting, etc. Then we started to work on more advanced combos and tricks like shooting down at incredible speeds while doing barrel rolls to create a wind current like tornado around us and pulling up at the last second to make a 10 second tornado. There is also this other trick that Rainbow Dash showed me called the Buccaneer Blaze which apparently creates an explosion. It took a long time to do that one but still, I eventually got it. Now we're going to attempt her best trick, the Sonic Rainboom. Which I'm guessing we're going to attempt doing this together and fail miserably. "If you're thinking we're going to fail, we might, I haven't done this trick since I was a filly." Wow she's like psychic or something. Well let's try this trick! We start flying up over the clouds, then we sky rocket down towards the earth at an angle where we're still going forward, reaching critical speeds which then form a mach cone around us, indicating we have broken the speed of sound, mach 1 basically. Then the cone starts to increase in size, 2, 3, 4. We're gonna do this! Then we just stopped. "Uh-oh" Rainbow said, "Brace for sling shooting!" "Wait wha-" Then the sound barrier shot us across the lake we were working by, over town, and into a Lavender Unicorn and White Unicorn and we managed to push them into mud of all things. "Sorry," Rainbow and I said with a smirk, "Let us help." We got a raincloud and started to jump on it, getting the precipitation to rain on the two unicorns. "Heh, sorry, I'll help again," Rainbow said before making a rainbow tornado around the unicorns. "My very own, patented, Rain-Blow-Dry!" When that was done, the lavender unicorn's mane was poofed up and it looked hilarious! The white unicorn just fixed his with his magic. Rainbow, a purple baby dragon (?) and I started to burst out in laughter at the unicorn's mane, we couldn't help it. Even the white unicorn let out a smirk. "Ahem, my name is Twilight Sparkle, I'm assuming you two are Rainbow Dash and Dusk Heart," Twilight said with a hint of annoyance towards us. "The one and only!" Rainbow said, I'm finishing this sentence, "You heard of us?" "I heard you were supposed to be keeping the sky clear!" She responded with angrily. "Yeah yeah we'll get to it" I said as I rested in a tree and Rainbow in a cloud. "Just as soon as we finish practicing" Rainbow said, finishing my sentence. "I heard the dragon say Is that natural for them to speak like that?" to the white unicorn who whispered no in response. "For what exactly?" Twilight asked. "The Wonderbolts!" We both say at the same time, pointing to a poster. "THE Wonderbolts," Twilight asked. "Yep" both Rainbow and I say. "The most elite flying team in ALL of Equestria?" "That's them." "Please, they'd never recruit two pegasi who couldn't keep the sky clear for a day!" "Hey, we could clear the sky in ten, seconds, flat. Five together" I remark. "Prove it." And that's where we started, I cleared left, Rainbow cleared right. It was definitely easy and we finished in 5 seconds flat. Twilight and the dragon (who's name was Spike if I can remember Twilight saying it) stood their gawking, not believing what they were seeing. The white unicorn just smiled up at us as if he knew me, wait does he? "Hey, do I know you?" "I guess you can say that" he responds, why is he being cryptic? "My name is Freezin, head medic in the Royal Staff. I guess you can say I'm your long lost brother." Wow, that's heavy. I can't belief I have a brother somehow. "Can't wait to talk to you again Dusk." Then they walked off to finish their duties." Chapter 2: Nightmare's ReturnSTILL DONT OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT FREEZIN, DUKS HEART, AND PLOT UNRELATED TO EPISODES MADE BY HASBRO, MEANING I DONT OWN MUCH XD. I ALSO OWN THE ************ (spoilers even though it's the title) FREEZIN'S POV: Well I'm lucky to tell him that like Celestia requested, I hate lying to him but still. Anyways, we have two stops left, decor and music, before we research something at the library. We're going to Town Hall when something catches my eye, Twilight is, again, ticked at the loss of time. "Hey Twilight?" "Yes Freezin?" Twilight asked in as calm, a tone as possible. "I've been noticing that you have been angry at the loss of time back there, what's rushing you?" "Oh wow I hoped no one noticed." "It's kinda obvious." Twilight remained silent for a while, till she told me everything, about Nightmare Moon, about the Elements of Harmony, the thousand year thing, even though I already knew about this. "Well if you're THAT worried I'll help you out. I bet that my ice magic can help in some way." I replied to her. "Thanks Freezin, aside from Spike, your probably the only one who will help me." "No problem, hey we're here." We walked into the Town Hall to find it covered in decor that beautifully matches with the Celebration. "Beautiful..." Spike said, looking love struck. "Yes, the decor is beautiful indeed" Twilight remarked. "Not that," Spike said, pointing the the (other) white unicorn in the room with a lustrous and flowing purple mane. "Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle and this is Freezin, we-" "Ah, just a second, I'm 'in the zone' as you would say. Ahh yes, Sparkle always does the trick, does it not! Now how may I help-" The white unicorn (not me) gasped pointing to Twilight's mane, "Oh my stars, darling! What ever happened to garphuel? (i THINK that's how you spell it XD it's in the episode) "Oh you mean my mane? Well it's a long story, well I just came to check the decorations, and now I'll be out of your mane!" "Out of MY mane? What about yours?!" She then pushed Twilight to who knows where. "Hey! Where are we going?! Help!!" "Oh boy, this may lead to be a problem." Then some light blue magic, much like mine but more sky blue than ice blue grabbed me by the tail. "HEY WAIT!" "Oh I didn't forget about you dear, you're coming with me too." "HELP!!" After various outfits tried onto Twilight and various hair changes, not to mention the various outfits to me, we FINALLY escaped and were walking towards our last stop music. "Well that wasn't needed in the slightest. I am glad we got out" I said. And before Twilight could reply, we heard the sweet song of birds in one general direction. We decided to go towards it, thinking our final stop was there, and it was. We saw a yellow pegasus conducting an ensemble of birds, gently pointing out mistakes like when the blue bird was a tiny bit off tune. "Hello!" Twilight shouted over the birds. "Oh uhm, sorry, I just heard the sound of your birds and it was really good. May I ask what your name is?" "I'm..." Wow that was quiet, I couldn't hear that. "I'm sorry but I didn't quite hear that." This time was quieter and then it turned into a whimper. "Oh looks like your birds are back, I think it's best that we leave now, c'mon Spike, you too Freezin." Then the yellow pegasus spotted Spike and instantly ran up to him and rammed Twilight out of the way. "Ohhh! A baby dragon! He's soooo cutee!" she said. "Well well well!" Spike responded, causing me to roll my eyes. "Ooo! He can talk I didn't know dragons could talk! I want to know everything about you! My name is Fluttershy, what's yours?" "My name is Spike! And my life started out as a cute, purple and green egg." Oh boy, this is gonna take a while, might as well keep myself entertained by summoning a snow cloud. 30 Minutes later... I'm blocking out Fluttershy and Spike right now and entertaining myself with snow clouds, hittin g them, catching the snowflakes, icing the snowflakes, punching the clouds, and many other things. I feel bad for Twilight not being able to do this yet. We FINALLY got to the library and practically ran inside with a tired Spike excuse. When we got inside I made a remark to Twilight saying that was rude, it was. "Well I'm not usually this way, I just want to get this research done as fast as possible. Now where's the light switch." Then the lights shot on, with over a hundred ponies in here screaming 'SURPRISE!'. Well that blasted me to my feat, summoning my ice powers, including pieces of royal guard armor made of ice, my cutiemark as the chest crest, and two clouds shooting ice blue beams of ice (ICE BEAM :D). This caused some ponies to panic, and some to stare at me in awe. "It's okay Freezin," Twilight said, "Put your guard down." I reluctantly shattered the armor and sent the shard to disperse the clouds. The remaining shards melted. "Hiyah!" the pink pony from earlier said. "I’m Pinkie Pie! Remember me? I was the first pony you talked to when you came here and you introduced yourself which probably means your new and I would know because I know everypony in Ponyville and I mean Everypony so I just had to throw you a surprise party! And then I noticed that there were two of you so I also thought why not throw both of you a party so then we threw a party here! Were you surprised? Were you?" After processing that into one sentence I answered a simple yes. Twilight was annoyed at this and decided to go back to her new room (after eating a fire cupcake). I went to go after her and see if I can help her with anything, and before going to her, I noticed Dusk Heart hiding from Pinkie Pie. 1 Day Later... (Night of the Day before Summer Sun Celebration) DUSK HEART'S POV: Well the next day is about to start, we Rainbow Dash and I are waiting around in town hall for the Summer Sun Celebration to begin. I got to meet some of Rainbow Dash's other friends (rest of Main 6) and talk to Twilight and Freezin. Before I know it, it's almost time for the next day. The mayor stood on the stage with Royal Guard members. "Citizens of Ponyville! As your mayor I am glad to announce the begining of the Summer Sun Celebration!" This caused everypony to cheer loudly. "Now I will love to present to you, the pony who brings us the sun and the moon each and everyday, PRINCESS CELESTIA!!!" Rarity opened the curtain where the Princess was supposed to stand and when there was nopony there, everypony started to panic. Freezin created his Ice Armor and Ice Clouds and got ready to fight, against who though, I don't know. Then where the Princess was supposed to stand, purple smoke appeared. Forming into the shape of another alicorn. "Ahahahahaha!!!!! Oh my beloved subjects! I'ts been so long since I've seen your beloved sun loving faces!" Freezin, Rainbow and I thought the same thing and charged head on. Except only Freezin and I got through because Applejack grabbed Rainbow by the tail. Freezin fired ice beams at the alicorn and I just charged head on, hoping to get in a Buccaneer Blaze. The ice beams were deflected, but with difficulty, and they hit Freezin's armor, shattering it instead, sending him into the crowd next to Twilight. I just charged head on, without armor, hoping for the best, boy am I stupid. I was shot by dark lightning, (why did it feel familiar?) and was sent out of the sky, and blasted into Rainbow Dash. "Oww..." I get off Rainbow Dash who then charges at the alicorn who turned into smoke. Chapter 3: More Elements, More Ponies!STILL DONT OWN ANYTHING CEPT MY OCS (Freezin and DuskHeart) AND PLOT OUTSIDE OF THE EPISODES. Freezin's POV I saw Twilight running out of town hall and I decide to follow her, I'm still dazed at the attack, so I walk around back and forth like, hoping nopony can see me. I eventually fall over and decide to just lay there. my head still hurting. I suddenly feel myself being lifted, by a pegasus? magic? I can't even tell. Must be magic, cuz I only feel the air around me, noone's hooves till about five second when the magic dispersed. "It's okay surgarcube, I got ya." "Thank Celestia somepony found me, especially someone like Applejack. "Go to the library. Twilight is there, and I'm assuming Rainbow Dash or maybe Dusk Heart saw too." "Dusk Heart? You mean that pegasus from earlier? He got beat up all right, but he's fine." "Good..." I reply before blacking out for a little. And what feels like no time at all, I'm back in the library. "Ughh... Where am I" I asked, still dazed a little. After that, I saw a faint low of magic, it was magenta colored, and instantly, I felt better. I sat up from the ground which I was now on. Shaking my head, "What happened? I remember getting hit with my own attack and blacking out, not much else." "We have to find these Elements of Harmony Freezin, they're in the Everfree forest. just follow me, I remember where my crater is." Yikes, I didn't think there would be a crater! Geez Celestia, what did you do to the kid... The group of myself, Twilight, Applejack, Dusk Heart, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie now stood next to a giant crater, and the entrance to the Everfree forest. Celestia did a number on Dusk Heart when I look at a crater, but he's fine now so I shrug it off. "Well, here we are. The Everfree forest, location of the Elements of Harmony. Why do I have this feeling that we're going to be tested" I remark. "Well let's blow this pop stand!" Dusk Heart said excitedly. "Well, I appreciate the help everyone, but I'd prefer I go through this alone now" Twilight said. "Not gonna happen sugarcube! We're sticken to ya like caramel on a candy apple!" Applejack replied walking into the forest. "Especially if there are candy apples in there!" Pinky said, making Twilight and I look at her, "What? Those things are good!" Then we started our trek into the forest. Now we are at a cliff, nowhere else to go now, the path continuing below us. "Well now what?" I ask, barely spotting the small crack there was below us, breaking the cliff bit by bit. "Look out! I said pushing Dusk Heart off the platform then blasted the crack with ice, slowing it down. "Get off the cliff!" I screamed, allowing the chance to get all of the ponies off the cliff, well most of them, only Applejack and Twilight didn't get off in time, the others (Dusk Heart, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity) did get off. The ice shattered and the magic connection connecting me with the ice caused me to be pushed back in recoil and, more than I'd like, got shot off the falling piece of cliff. I managed not to get hurt and with the momentum made and iced slide back using various branches, bushes, and magic. When I did get down, I saw Twilight hanging on the cliff, Applejack clinging onto her hooves so she doesn't fall. I didn't catch the beginning of what they said, but I heard Applejack say to let go. "Are you crazy?!" Twilight responded with plenty of panic."No I'm not, what I'm telling you is the honest truth, all you have to do is trust me." And then Twilight did the unexpected, let go. She was caught be Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash though. Good... Wait, that means there are challenges. DANG IT! 15 minutes later (after Rarity's challenge)... DUSK HEART'S POV: Well, we went through various challenges and we STILL are not at that castle. We then got to this cave, great. More challenges. "C'mon, let's just go already." We all walked into the cave to find a dimly fire lighted room. Why do I have this feeling that something is coming... "Something's not right..." I feel as if I'm alone in here, but something else, something darker, is watching me. I turn to hope and find my friends there, able to help me. But no one was there. No one. "What the..." Then my wings disappeared. "Ahh!" This isn't funny anymore. Now I'm actually worried. "T-This isn’t funny anymore! Show yourself!" I started to look in all directions, there was no escaping this, no entrance, no exit. Then something dark struck me in the back. I turn to see what it was, but nothing was there. Then again, and again, and again. "S-stop it!" Alright now I'm scared. Then tendrils of purple lightning shot me in all directions. Then Nightmare Moon appeared in front of me. "Give up Pegasus, stop being a foal and give up, there's nothing you can do. Your friends are watching you suffer, and there's nothing they or anyone else can do. Just. Give. Up." Now I'm close to tears, the pain is getting to be too much. And the volts in this lightning are weak, it's the darkness that hurts. And that's how it felt like earlier. "I won't give in..." "You might as well. No one can save you from your suffering demise." Then when everything felt nearly lost, a crash was heard, like the shattering of glass, and a black that glue of cyan with a visible rainbow mane appeared, crashing into Nightmare Moon dispersing her into a shadowy smoke once more. I started to cry at the pain. There has to be a way to get rid of this lightning. Then the thing I didn't think was possible would happen, Rainbow hugged me, FRIGGIN HUGGED ME!!! I mean SERIOUSLY! She basically never opens up to emotion like this, EVER! She regained her color and with a smile shattered the lightning into fragments that fell and shattered onto the floor, this gave me hope, that someone was there, someone I can fight for, someone I can persevere for. The dream shattered, like a rock hitting glass, with me on the floor of the cave and Rainbow not hugging me anymore, or stopped, not wanting the waking members to see her show affection. I think everyone else blanked out on watching, after Rainbow broke the glass. "Don't ever tell anyone about what happened, got it?" she asked with a light blush on her cheeks. "Got it. Won't tell a soul" I respond. "Ughh... I blacked out watching that, what happened?" Freezin asked, "I think Dash broke whatever was blocking us out and then she did something." "NOTHING HAPPENED!" Both me and Dash said at the same time, too fast I may add, causing us to blush lightly. "Tell us darling, no one else out there will know after all!" Rarity remarked. Fluttershy nodded in agreement, I'm not seeing why she would. Great, now everyone wanted to know. "BOLTING!" I scream before flying off. "HEY WAIT UP!" Rainbow screams before catching up to me. Everyone else looked confused when I looked back, that's good for me. When both Rainbow and I looked back, we didn't notice the searing flames ahead of us and, by accident, accidentally went through them, well I did, Rainbow looked ahead first and stopped last second, I went into the flames, IN TO, THE FLAMES. Well more through it more than anything. I guess I didn't notice anything. Then I noticed when I crashed into a tree, the tree burst into flames, died instantly, didn’t spread, and fell into a river steaming. Freezin's POV (This won't last long, sorry.) Wow, my adopted brother (?) just slammed through fire, felt nothing, and killed a tree. How does that work? Anyways, I know wind power will make it spread, animals can't help, we can't burry it with trees, I’m pretty sure giving ANYTHING to it won't EVER help, and my brother is on the other side, magic is the only thing left, and because I don't know if Twilight can use ANY elemental magic, it's up to me. I sigh, hope for the best and attempt a powerful ice spell, Hail Storm. Good news, it worked, bad news. It’s a work in progress spell so it didn't completely kill the fire wall of doom and destruction. Well, maybe wind can help now, especially with ice in it, wait, I know a spell for that! "Hold on to something and or each other!" I scream at the top of my lungs to the others. My horn started to glow that ice blue color it always did, and I tried to focus on summoning a, yes this is what I'm summoning, a blizzard. On a small scale, this should completely screw around with the flames and, in a nutshell, kill them, I feel like they're alive. If this DOESN'T work though, I can be A. blown into the fire, B. lose control of the spell and make a blizzard that CAN cover the Everfree Forest in 5 inches of snow, C. Go magic ballistic, or D. All of the above. The risks are REALLY high here. Well, can't hurt to try. (I'm going to regret saying that) A cloud started to make the area darker, and it started to snow, and I don't mean light, it was pretty much dumping the arctic all over us. Then the wind picked up, causing the snow to be blowing onto the fire 75% directly. The wind is getting really strong now; I feel myself being pushed in the snow, that's not good. I feel myself being thrown off my feet into the remaining flames, which were still and a very large height. The pain started to spike to dramatic levels, I try not to scream so the spell doesn't backfire or I lose control. Twilight's POV (sorry Freezin's was so short, and yes this POV is gonna happen) I'm watching Freezin burn, trying to help us cross and stop Nightmare Moon, without giving a care to what may happen to him. Trying not to lose any control and trying not to lose this fight. He is powerful, VERY powerful. I'm pretty much clinging to a tree like any cat would now, the winds were that strong, only someone powerful, like Celestia herself, could conjure up these fierce winds. Now getting back to what's at hand, I feel useless, I can't really help Freezin, despite my magic abilities and training under Celestia. He has a gift I don't have, and knows a type of magic I don't know. He is a pony who can perform elemental magic, a magic rarely used and or mastered. I have to help in some way, and I'm about to let go of this tree, and the others are noticing it. "You're not seriously hoping you can get through this like Dusk, are you? I see you nearly letting go and heading straight into Freezin, which wouldn't be good" Rainbow Dash remarked. I know she's right, if I let go, Freezin may lose focus. I just wish I can do SOMETHING! I hate not having control of these situations, or at least not having to help anyone in them. I started to feel a surge of energy at the thought, almost like it came from deep down in my soul. Then I closed my eyes, and focused, not sure what I'm focusing on though. I reopen my eyes and they started to glow white, like a homing beacon. I'm not sure how I know this, I guess it was because it seemed like the only thing that could change right now, I didn't notice anything else change. Then I saw things, I don't know what exactly they were though, they came in colors though, surrounding the others. There were glows of Orange (Applejack), Cyan (Rainbow Dash), Grass Green (Fluttershy), and occasionally changed to other colors (Rainbow Dash only to be honest). Then I looked at Freezin, he was surrounded in an ice blue color, but it was growing weaker, and the energy from the flames were seeping in. Then I felt my horn glow, and a surge of energy in me sky rocketed to my horn, and blasted an energy bolt at Freezin. thought I would kill him, or at least injure him, but instead, the energy bolt went into Freezin's horn and the ice blue color around him expanded, repaired, and flourished again, it over came the flame's powerful energy, and dispersed it into nothing. I then started feeling weak, almost ready to pass out, I can easily see this in Freezin too, but something else happened, I could almost feel that he's tired, and can almost hear his voice when he's not speaking. This is odd. I'm gonna ask Princess Celestia later if we do find her. I run up to Freezin and instantly I felt a lot better, in a way I cannot explain really, and I can hear Freezin's voice clearly, but he's not speaking. 'Twilight, can you hear me? Don't talk by the way, think it.' Telepathy? Am I going insane? 'Good you figured it out. No you're not going insane, we have a link now, a telepathic link to be exact. And apparently accelerated healing if we're next to each other.' Okay now this is confusing, but I guess it's okay. 'Let's go already! Geez, and I thought I was confused.' So we then walked over to Dusk Heart, who was now napping in a tree, which just happened to avoid the storm completely. 'Wow, what are the odds...' Freezin sends a magical bolt at the branch, causing it to fall and wake up Dusk Heart. "Owww. At least wake me up before you cut down a tree." I giggled and replied "We didn't cut down the tree and we did wake you up, now let's go." 1 Hour of searching and a challenge (Rainbow's) later.... Dusk Heart's POV After tackling a pegasus, crossing a bridge, and a short walk down a path, we FINALLY made it to the castle. All of us walk in to find a pedestal with 5 orbs in 5 arms. "The Elements!" Twilight screamed with joy. Fluttershy, Rainbow, and I brought down the elements. "Hey, there’s only 5!" Pinkie exclaimed. "Then where's the sixth?!" Twilight shouted with panic. All of us turned are heads to find Nightmare Moon. "Why thank you for leading me here," she told us, "It was troublesome to stall you all here so you could be oblivious to me, but it was all worth it in the end. I can destroy the elements and Equestria's last hope for day!" This ticked me off, Nightmare levitated all the elements to her, and I charged in, with Freezin and Twilight, towards the elements. Then I find myself in a new location, teleporting? Well, regardless, Freezin summons his ice armor and a stretch my wings, and prepare to charge in head on, and apparently Twilight is charging in too, yay I'm not alone! Twilight and I charge head on and Freezin throws ice at Nightmare, the ice somehow melted and Nightmare punched me aside. Twilight though, teleported to the elements. Nightmare, realizing the events, quickly teleported to the elements. Twilight made a spark that made the elements swirl around Nightmare, and pushed her towards Freezin. "No, Noo!!" Nightmare stared to panic. I walked over to the others. When I get there, our hope shattered, quite literally at that. The elements stopped spinning around Nightmare, and with a laugh, Nightmare shattered the elements into fragments. I think I saw some fragments, maybe 2, shatter completely, that can't be good. I hear the rest of the girls coming from the stairway behind us. "You think you got rid of the elements Nightmare Moon?" Twilight said with a smirk, causing a slight panic to occur, "Well you didn't! Because the spirits of the elements are right here!" She pointed at the rest of the ponies that just entered, telling them what proved this and that elements, which activated the fragments to swirl around the specific pony. "You still don't have the sixth element though!" "Yes we do! For we had the sixth element all along, the sixth element is!" then a orb like the rest of them floated above Twilight, "Magic!" That caused the elements to form/reform in to a necklace, for Twilight a tiara. The girls started to float/glow, and Freezin and I just stood there in amazement. Then I felt something, like something was about to happen. I'm guessing Freezin had the same reaction because we ran up, jumped, and managed to push Rainbow and Twilight out of the way. This caused the rest of the girls to fall as well. Rainbow and Twilight questioned what happened, Freezin and I instantly knew then, and we answered at the same time, "Loyalty and Magic are cracked, and if you continued, you could have completely shattered the elements and hurt everyone here!" Their reaction was devastating Rainbow got worried and Twilight kept asking if there was anything we could do. "Well I know what I'm doing," I respond, "Not giving up!" Freezin nodded in agreement and we charged strait at Nightmare. I managed to kick Nightmare in the face, causing her to wince, Freezin froze her legs in place and shot ice beams at Nightmare. We had no effect. Nightmare shattered the ice and easily sent Freezin back, armor shattered, with a blast of ligtning. She grabbed me with her magic. "What was that about not giving up?" she asked. She started to have a dark affect spread onto me. I instantly screamed in agony, causing a panicked Rainbow Dash to bolt right next to me. "Stay back!!!" I scream, wanting to keep her and everyone safe. I feel something start to happen, my mane growing colder, my coat growing darker, my eyes glowing a deep purple that scared Fluttershy. Darkness swirled around me and Rainbow, reluctantly, pulled back. My teeth sharpened and grew four fangs. I started to lose my conscious, but I was still awake. I don't understand... Freezin's POV "DUSK!!!" both Rainbow and I scream with concern. "Dusk? Who is this Dusk? Oh you mean the body I'm using! Of course..." Dusk(?) said with an evil grin, "I am Death Haven! The frozen fire that penetrates even the most pure of hearts!" He instantly flew up to Rainbow and I and punched us into the wall. "Just to make him suffer! You two are the only deep connections he has, Freezin for being his brother, and Rainbow for taking him in at a time of need. Fear my wrath!!" He shot a purple fire at me and an indigo lightning at Rainbow. We both screamed in agony! In my mind, I'm screaming for help, and Twilight runs up and shoots the burning fire with a pure light that instantly disintegrates it. She didn't have time for Rainbow though, her mane grew cold and imitated the black color spectrum, her coat changed colors to a deep shade of ebony. Her usual magenta eyes now shined red. "I'd like to introduce you to Flash Blood, or as you may have known her, Rainbow Dash." I saw the new Rainbow Dash, and felt like she was gonna throw me into next week. She kicks my limp body across the room and I black out, the last thing I see is a single tear, shed by Twilight. "Freezin," a voice said, "Freezin!" "Ughh..." I groan, opening my eyes to a room of white. "Oh dear Celestia, am I dead?" "No," the voice said, when I turn I find Dusk, standing in all his glory, and normal too. "Welcome to our prison. Rainbow and I are here because of our corruption. You're here because you're the only one who can stop this. Well, with Twilight's help anyway. Now before you ask anything, you're slipping back into consciousness now. You've been out for about 5 minutes. Now listen, Twilight has the enchantment of light, like Celestia. She was born with it by the way. Don't ask how I know this, apparently my dark side knows it. Anyways, if you somehow use your ice to magnify a light blast, you can lib-" "Disintegrate the dark side! That'll work Seeya! I'm waking up now!" And then I'm back in the castle. I wake up, without a pain to my relief, and stand up. Death Haven and Flash Blood didn't notice me, I have to find- 'Freezin! You're okay!' Course I am, now help! Blast a beam of light at my ice! you got one shot! 'Okay!' I make an ice wall that is behind Haven and Flash Blood. "NOW!" I scream causing the duo to look at me. I froze their legs in place and Twilight fired at the ice, causing the light to expand to the walls height and intensify. This caused a dark shadow to be pushed off of the two pegasi as they dropped down from exhaustion. "Okay, let's try this again!" I say as the elements started to glow. The unexpected happened, the element of magic shot a beam strait at my right hoof, forming a bracelet that had my cutie mark (a snow flake) on it on a crystal that looked like diamond to represent my ice colored magic. The element of loyalty also shot into Dusk Heart forming a fire shaped crest on a headband out of what appears to be amethyst, a purple gem stone. I wondered one thing, and Twilight I knew thought it too, why a flame. Then I saw why, he finally had his cutiemark, a purple flame. We all hovered into the air glowing, ready to stop Nightmare Moon. Twilight opened her eyes, which were now pure white, and we fired a rainbow (uhhm, what?) at Nightmare, which enveloped her and dispelled the darkness, which left another alicorn lying there in her place. "W-We did it, we actually did it" Dusk Heart said, looking awestruck. I walk up to the alicorn with a cresent moon cutiemark, and a background around it representing the endless canvas that is night. I kneel down and work my magic, literally, I start using a heal spell which enveloped the alicorn with my magic. Nobody noticed what I was doing, except for Twilight. She walked up to me. "What are you doing Freezin?" "Healing spell, this alicorn is hurt and has been imprisoned for a long time, her Nightmare imprisoned her before Nightmare Moon ever took place. She is Celestia's sister, Princess Luna" I answer. Twilight was at a loss for words, she couldn't think of anything too say. Then, the weirdest thing, or rather greatest thing, happened, Celestia herself flew through the window and landed next to the other ponies. Everyone except Dusk Heart and myself bowed down. "Uhh why are we bowing down? Is she like our queen or something?" Celestia chuckled at this while everyone else gasped at his defiance. "It's been a few days since I last saw you, isn't it Dusk Heart?" Dusk Heart then looked completely confused. "Uhhm, do I know you or something? Are we related?" Celestia smiled at this comment, "I guess you could say I'm your mother, but I'm not exactly your real mother, it's for... another reason." This made Dusk Heart think for a while. Then I realized that Luna is waking up, I release my magic and walked towards the group. "Fillies and Gentlecolts, I'm glad to introduce to you, Princess Luna, sister of Celestia!" Everyone in the room (except Celestia and the still thinking Dusk Heart) gasped as Luna ran up to Celestia. "'Tia! I was so scared! The nightmares kept me from talking with you and imprisoned me in the process! I was worried about what happened!" Celestia calmed her weeping sister, "It's okay Luna, everything is better now." Then everyone looked at me, except the royal sisters. "How do you know all of this? are you and Celestia, like together or something?" Dusk Heart asked making Celestia and I blush, everyone else smirked or giggled at the comment. "What?! NO!" I said, still in panic. Celestia coughed, still half blushing, I suppose this is alot worse than what could have happened. "Well, I suppose I can give you all knowledge of things that happened" Celestia said as her horn glowed and shot a string of memories at each of us. Knowledge of the sub elements, Twilight's link with me, even what happened with Rainbow and Dusk Heart (instant blackmail, Yes!), flowed into our minds, just one thing had to be given before this was all over. "It is time now, he is a lot stronger than what he was. Give him his memories..." I silently say, everyone unable to hear me except Twilight, Rainbow, Celestia, Luna, and Dusk. "I suppose he is. Everypony stand away from Dusk Heart." Everypony, including the Royal Sisters, stood away from Dusk Heart, everypony except Rainbow and myself. "I-I need to see these memories. I want to know what killed him..." I state, causing a collective gasp from everypony. "H-He died? Then why is he here?" Twilight asked. Celestia sighed, "I'm guessing you all want to see now. This will all be in a 3rd person's point of view, except for Dusk Heart, who will sadly have to relive all of this. In real time this will only take a few seconds, in our time it's gonna take a few hours, everypony stand next to Dusk Heart." Everyone stood closer to Dusk Heart. "Oh, I almost forgot! If I do this spell differently, I could switch you from reliving this to an outsider of this, but you will need a companion with you. Everypony can still watch mind you, so choose wisely." Dusk Heart thought about this, I know who he's gonna choose. "Rainbow, would you like to accompany me through my memories?" She gave a small nod of agreement before standing next to him, wait, are they holding hooves?! Well, I better prepare for the worst, this CAN'T be good. Chapter 4: Change of Tune (INTRO)I DON'T OWN ANYTHING, CEPT FREEZIN AND DUSKHEART. COLOR SPHERE IS OWNED BY Epsilonic Memory! 1 Day After Viewing Dusk Heart's Past (If you want to know about it, pm me. It's long) I'm just demented to them, someone that's an outcast, someone who's demented, someone who's hated... Queen Chrysalis herself won't even look at me, just because of that stupid royal guard. That star he has, his mark, it will haunt me forever. He did this to me... Even as an egg, the force field had this effect on me. I should run, oppose as someone else. Nobody would know, I am just a changeling out of the several there are. I start to fly away, not like anyone cares, not even Chrysalis. I should start a new life, a new life, new friends, everything. I fly out of the cave and see three options to go, a castle, a cloud city, and a small suburban town. Well the castle is where 'it' happened and that cloud city is highly populated, I don't want to scare like, 5000 people and be killed or something ridiculous. So I fly to the town. Dusk Heart's POV I'm flying over Ponyville, putting the last of the rain clouds in the sky, we have orders to put up rain clouds, and apparently it's been pretty sunny over the few days. I just put the last cloud in place, good, that was time consuming. I decide to fly down to Ponyville, the rest of the weather team should be here soon to bring down the precipitation. I decide to fly to the library to find Freezin and Twilight, Freezin haas been spending a lot of time with her, and I mean ALOT. I think he likes her, I'll ask later. I open the door to find Spike organizing books. "Hey Spike!" "Hi Dusk! If you’re looking for Freezin or Twilight, they're upstairs researching Twilight's light enchantment thing. Apparently Freezin likes spending time here." "Kay, Thanks little buddy!" I walked upstairs into, you guessed it, another section of books, except this level had a doorway to a balcony and a smaller level for Twilight's bed. I looked around on the base of the room, no Twilight or Freezin. Then I see a book fly across the room from where Twilight's bed area was. I walk up the stairs and narrowly dodge another book. There I find Freezin speed reading every single page of a book of various enchantments, and Twilight asleep on the bed. Geez it's like, 11:00AM, I'd expect her to be awake. "As much as I like playing a replica of Dodgeball, I think I have to ask you to please stop throwing books at my head Freezin." Then a book landed on my head, of course. "Sorry, I'm not thinking strait, haven't slept for 2 days." "TWO DAYS?!!?!?" "shh! Twlight's sleeping!" I facehoof. He is so freakin dense sometimes, I think he's taking after Twilight. "Okay, I know your researching this stuff and all, but do you think that this enchantment is in a book here in Ponyville? The enchantment is pretty rare I think, so it has to be in a more advanced library." His turn to facehoof. "Of course... Well I'll go see if it's at Canterlot library tommor-" "Shut up and sleep already." He then attempts to walk home, wait, this is his home, so I guess he attempted to walk to his room or bed or something, and falls, already asleep. I smirk, perfect time to embarrass him. I grab a sticky note, and write 'Dear Twilight and or Freezin, You woke up, CONGRADULATIONS!!! If you're wondering why Freezin/Twilight is sleeping next to you, I did it, duh. I couldn't pass the chance to embarrass you! Anyways, if you need me I'll be flying around or something. Happy Lives! -D.H. P.S. I'm pretty sure Rainbow's part of the next team. Well, might as well walk around or go see any of the others. And possibly prank them. I smirk at the thought and look outside. Then I see something new, a ash grey coat like mine, and a mane style just like mine! AND WHAT IS THIS?! A CUTIEMARK JUST LIKE MINE?! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! Okay, calm down. I found something to do! Let the chase begin! I follow my doppelganger to the Everfree Forest. He looks like me, acts like me, even has a smell (smells like Rainbow Dash, pretty nice smell if I do say so myself, wait what am I thinking?!) just like mine. "I'm glad no one thought it was my true self, not this disguise..." it said before transforming into something that looks like a bug. I think it's called a changeling. They feed off of love or something like that and are masters of disguise. This one looked different though, it had two different colored ees to start with. Well, can't be too hard to cope with. "Hey!" I yell at the changeling, who instantly turned towards me. "Ahh!" it screamed, "Please! If you’re gonna hurt me, please just don't-" "WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE ME, WHY ARE YOU HERE, WHY AM I ASKING QUESTIONS?!?!?!?!" "This is gonna be so friggin confusing. "Ponies don't like changelings, you’re the first thing I saw that was a pony of some kind and I took your form, I prefer talking in disguise rather than as a changeling. My disguises aren't perfect though, my eye color still is different colors like before." he starts to blush, PLEASE DON'T BE FEMALE. "I was abused back in the, err... hive so I ran. Why ARE you asking me questions-" That answers a lot of questions, he deserves to know my name, "The name's Dusk Heart." "I'm Color Sphere, I'm pretty young for a changeling, 16 to be exact, I also don't feed off love like other changelings..." I didn't know they could do that. "Cool I'm 16 too! Also, I don't think anypony in town can really fear you for not doing anything, sides, I kinda know how you feel, cept I went ballistic, got possessed, shot by lightning, and destroyed a good chunk of Canterlot. Anyways, I should introduce you to some of my friends." He started to panic. "I don't think they'll make fun of you. If they did, I'd stand up for you, you know, cuz we're friends, right?" I asked. He thought about this, "oh uhhmm... sure." Now just the problem of getting him into town, we don't want double ponies changeling for staying hidden, and there's that tiny fact that... FREEZIN'S POV Oh Celestia, I think I passed out on the stairs again. Wait, am I on a bed? I guess Twilight woke up or something. I start to get up, and speak of the stars, there she is also- wait, she's getting up too?! "AHHH!!! WHAT THE HECK!?" I screamed. I fell; again, I'm gonna end up like Derpy later if this keeps happening... Twilight was startled at the exact same idea that we were 'that close'. Good thing I learned telepathy blocking, otherwise Celestia knows what would happen. "WHAT WERE YOU DOING FREEZIN?!!?!?!?" I start backing up, nice and slowly, maybe she won't notice! Then I notice the sticky note on her horn, I think there's one on my horn too. I reach up and grab the note. I guess Twilight finally noticed the note on her head. I quickly read the note. "DUSK HEART!!!!!" both Twilight and I screamed into the heavens. Wait I just remembered he wrote Dashie, time to tell her! Oh the mistakes done in pen! I run off towards Rainbow's cloud house. When I get there I yell to see if someone's up there. "Rainbow! You there?!" "Yeah, what do you need Freezin?" I turn to find Dash right behind me, I jumped and landed face first in the dirt. "Aside from my dirt coat, thanks by the way, I found this note wrote by your friend." I hand her the note, she reads it over and starts laughing. "Read the end..." I say with a smirk to see her reaction. She quickly read the end and blushed, dropping the note. "Uhh..." she said dumbfounded. I start laughing. It's hilarious; I mean come on, 'Dashie'?! She's blushing now! Oh imagine what Dusk will say/react now that I told her! Wait, this means that... BLACKMAIL OBTAINED!! I gotta tell Twilight and the others later! Rainbow then flew off without a reason. Man she must be embarrassed! This can lead to several verdicts, but blackmail is blackmail, I'm just gonna say the same thing ‘bout Dusk to her. Time to tell the others! Now to get them together (without those two pegasi). I finally got the girls together, and Spike, without RD or DH. Eheheh... I'm so evil. "So why'd ya call us down here sugarcube? Somethin important I suppose?" Applejack asked. "I have made an assumption that can be used as blackmail and or used to take revenge on Rainbow and Dusk!" This made some of them feel uneasy. Fluttershy looked down and shuffled her hooves, Rarity gasped (drama queen...) and Spike looked confused and nervous at the same time. "Well spit it out!" Twilight said, wanting to take her revenge. I started whispering it into everypony's ears. COLOR SPHERE'S POV (the changeling(sorry Freezin's POV was short)) I look at the pink skies above my new friend and I. Wondering what his friends will be like. Then I see a streak of rainbow over head. I wonder what that could be. "Well she's out and about today, I guess you can take her form. She's a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail, her cutiemark is a cloud shooting out a lightning bolt that is Red, Yellow and Blue. I'm taking my assumptions and change form to hopefully get it right. "Wow! This is almost perfect! The only difference is the eyes, but I think only my brother would notice. They're awesome by the way." That made me blush a little, no one ever said that to me, they always made fun of me... I guess I have a friend. (AN: Dude said this guy get's genders mixed up though he's a male so...) He's nice and kind, I guess I like him. "C'mon, I'm gonnna show you to the others, keep up too, Rainbow has a reputation of being quick" he said. I'm so glad I have wings so I don't mess up as a pegasus. I follow him through the town and I guess he wanted to go a long way around because we avoided the quickest route by going past a tree. It had books in it, I guess it was a library. I'm trying to ignore the voice in my head saying that the names are similar. Color looked at Rainbow in awe. "So... This is a changeling? He looks... so..." Color started to look down, "AWESOME!" This made Color smile. Then something occurred to me, we can't have doubles or changelings roaming 'round town. "Hey Color, come here for a sec." He came over to me and I whisper a description into his ear. He nodded and transformed. He turned into a pegasus around age 17, he had an ash grey coat like mine and the end of his muzzle and hooves are a dark green. The top of his head was dark green like a head band like style. His mane went up and then fell strait down which looked kinda cool. His tail was short, it was dark green and had a lighter emerald green strip through it. He still had his multicolored eyes, and he didn't have a cutiemark. He looks a little similar to me. Guess he'll be another one of my brothers. I wonder if I even have brothers or sisters. (AN: Foreshadowing) Then a mare, with an aqua coat and a harp for a cutie mark, came up to us. Reacting without any sense, I dashed to the back of the group. I had to meet someone from Canterlot didn't I, one of the places I fear most (Not Counting Twilight or Freezin). In a nutshell I'm pretty much shaking out of my hooves out of fear behind a tree. (If your wondering why, if I DID have the privilege of going outside, I was abused by other snobs from Canterlot, including adults and young adults and the occasional bully) "Hi Twilight!" the mare said. She knew Twilight? "Lyra?! What are you doing here?! You live in Canterlot!" That answers questions."Well, I decided to move here!" she then looked at the others, cept me who is still in a tree. Which reminds me I need a home soon, I live in a tree. (Not a treehouse) "Well it looks like you have some friends now, and actually hang out with them instead of studying all day." Wow, that sounds familiar... Curse you memories for being gone! Now I only have key memories thanks to Celestia, like my death. I decide to miss the conversation and head to me tree, where I have a pillow, a blanket, and some of my stuff. (Journal, Scrapbook of Random Stuff, that's it) I pull out my scrapbook and go through random pictures of the landscape, other pictures, and- There We Are, Ponies. With the little freedom I have I had little to no friends, so if I manage to get one, I take a picture of them. It rarely happens, mainly people around my age be nice to me, so I just stole my parents' camera and take the photos, then ask. Let's see now... I only have the 4 pictures, one of which was from here. I looked around the 2 pages. Wait, 2 of them were taken out! What the heck?! I only have the one left... Now let's see. Chapter 5: The TicketsStill don’ts own anything cept my ocs (new oc in next chapter or two) (AN: I can't think of too much to do right now, a block if you will. So not much in this chapter, stuff in next chapter cuz there's a new character. Want more text? Then skip the chapter but part of the next won’t make sense then.) Color Sphere's POV I sighed, seeing nothing exciting or new happening anytime soon. My new brothers (Freezin and Dusk) are, like me, waiting for something to happen. I think Dusk is asleep too. "Time, Date, and Year?" I ask. "It's 10:34AM, Date is- OH YEAH!!" This got my attention and it woke Dusk up. "Wh-what I miss?" he asked, "Something exciting and what not happening?" Freezin nodded and we looked at him, waiting to say what was happening. Then a note appeared out of light blue smoke, well it's rather frost but still. He unrolled the scroll and read it aloud, but it was slow "Dear Freezin, Dusk Heart, and Color Sphere, you have been invited to the Grand Galloping Gala being held on, blah blah blah... I have enclosed 4 tickets for you three and a guest, DON'T give it to any of the girls, your guest will come to Ponyville soon. -Luna." "Why so slow?" I asked. "It's written in ancient Equestrian. Here look" he showed me the letter. Now, I know ancient equestrian right off the bat, always have, guess it was the barrier thing. Well, I'll know one day. "That's easy to read, I've known this sense I was like, 1 year old." "Okay okay," Dusk interrupted, "Well, I know you're part of the Royal Staff, that's how you got your ticket, but what about Twilight? She's Celestia's Apprentice!" I turned into my pony form/disguise, "ONWARDS! WE SHALL VENTURE TO THY LIBRARY!" I screamed. We got to the library after a run/fly didn't find anyone there, lucky us. I looked around to see if she was REALLY there, you can never be too sure, and instead, found a note. I read the note: 'Dear Freezin,' ha-ha, lucky me, I found a note for Freezin, must've blown off the door or out a window or something, 'If you are reading this, it means I’m not back yet, I'm currently helping Applejack with some work and, if you want, can come help. Or you can just stay indoors at the library reading, whatever you want. -Twilight' then there was a heart drawn in by (I think) Spike, I mean, who else would? I doubt that Twilight would EVER do this, even if I don't really know her. I walk around to the others; hold up the note and say, "They're not here." Freezin looked down in disappointment, I turned to see what Dusk's reaction is, but he turned to see this storm cloud over head. "Uhh, Dusk...?" I asked. "This way! There isn't supposed to be a storm today!" He bolted in that direction and Freezin and I barely kept up. Dusk Heart's POV Storm's over there, not supposed to! I gotta get over there! Dear Celestia Rainbow, what are you up to... "This is too slow..." I say to myself, I started to spread my wings then for some reason, to ponies rammed into me, and I have a good feeling it isn't Color and Freezin. "Get. Off. Of. ME!!!!" I yelled, rolling over to get the two ponies off of me. I look to who did this to me, and speak f the devil, Rainbow is one of them. The other pony was Applejack. "Now, tell me a good reason why I shouldn't burn down a building right now..." I say and deathly tone, "And also tell me, why we have a storm over there, that's lasting for 5 minutes!!" Gosh I sound mad when I'm mad. "Well uhh, well..." Rainbow spluttered on. "Wait, let me guess," I said in a less angry tone, "Twilight just happens to be invited to this Grand, Galloping whatever, and you and the rest of you are trying to win her over?" "How did you know that?" Applejack asked. I pulled out my ticket that I put in my mane, still as shiny and gold as ever. They stared at the ticket open mouthed, how is this thing a big deal!?! I started to explain, "Well, Freezin got three (keeping out the fourth, don't want to be bothered) tickets cuz we're his brothers, or rather cuz I was invited anyway and Freezin got an extra ticket for Color, and we wanted to ask Twi' if she had one too, so we went looking, and I saw the storm, and then we're here after you two tackled me to the dirt." "Eheh..." Rainbow said somewhat guiltily. "We're sorry pardner, it's just that it's everypony's dream to go to the Gala, so many dreams can start there in that city" Applejack said. I reply viciously, "Yeah well it was the start of my new friendship, and the worst part of my nightmare. I will continue reliving that moment because it's the only one I have left besides the Nightmare events." This made both of them look guilty now. "I'm going to go save Twi' now, you know, so she isn't mauled to death by the town." Then I flew off, leaving cinders in the air. The storm only started a few seconds (2 minutes) ago, so if I take a guess, seeing how she was at a cafe (newest cloud is visible there) so if anyone got to her yet, it should be Rarity. I flew down to the boutique, and before I could get down, Twi' came running out, and was stopped by Applejack, perfect... Well, I gotta know what happened, so might as well ask somepony, somepony who unexplainably knows generally everything, someone like- "Hiyah Dusk!" Still airborne, and out of shock, my wings froze for a split second, natural thing to happen to a pegasus when scared or surprised, can happen for longer periods of time but still, I fell. At least the ground is A, soft and B, 5 feet below me. And, "IMPACT!!!" I yelled. Ow... Oh god, I think the ticket flew out of my mane. I opened my eyes, and speak of the devil, the ticket's on the ground. Ugh, I think I hit my head... I had just enough time to move onto the ticket so noone can get it, and heard words that sounded like Pinkie and Fluttershy and blacked out. Freezin's POV: Man, where the heck is Dusk? We split up for 2 minutes and bam, he's gone for half an hour. I sigh, "Might as well try to find someone else like Fluttershy." Color nodded in agreement. "Meh," he replied, "I say we go fly over head and look, I mean you can use a spell for that right?" I nodded but added, "But I'm not exactly 'allowed' to, only in emergencies like Nightmare Moon." He nodded in response and we walked on, except Color tripped over something. Not likes it's a body right? Wait, HOLY CRUD, THAT'S DUSK'S BODY!! "Dusk! Start talking Dusk! Say something! Anything!" Dusk started to move, showing he was still alive, that's good. I use a simple healing spell on him and he starts to stand up, his hoof to his head. "Ugh... Stupid surprises out of nowhere, I hate you sometimes... Now, what happened?" As he recollected his memories, Color gave me a confused expression; I just gave a simple shrug back. "Oh yeah," he said as he put his ticket back in his mane, he then sighed, "Well we better start running, mares'll be on us in about, 3. 2. 1." And as he said 1, a few mares screamed and that caught Color and my attention, we were suddenly looking at a group of ponies that were smiling, creepy. "That's it, time to blaze it out of here" Dusk said, grabbing two hooves, one of Color's, one of mine, and he took off at blinding speeds. He made the sharpest turns I've ever seen, dodging everyone, and when they blocked a street, he turned into the next or an alley. And in the process, Color and I were full of shock, surprise, and were barely holding on to Dusk's hooves. After about 10 minutes of flying away, we found temporary shelter in an alley, well, somewhat, we were hiding in a very large box with holes in it, hoping for the best. "Ok Dusk, what in the name of Celestia is going on?" I asked, "And why are we avoiding every mare in Ponyville?" "Not like we're being chased by changelings, an angry mob, and 10 manticores right?" Color added. "Well," Dusk started, "I hit my head, they saw my ticket, gossip flied, I put my body over the ticket. Knowing you were my brother and were part of the Royal Staff, they suspected you had an extra ticket like Twi' does, and I'm just guessing." We waited and talked for a few minutes then we heard something/someone. We all quieted down and looked out of the holes of the box, Twilight was there. "Psst, hey Twi'!" I whispered somewhat. She started to panic, and I rolled my eyes, well I guess I can't blame her, she must've been chased. I freeze my cutiemark into the side of the box, then the ice spread and shattered, letting me get out. "PLEASE TELL ME YOU DON'T WANT A TICKET!!!" she begged, so I showed her two tickets, my own, and the spare. "Oh good, I've been being chased for a while. Now, I'm gonna guess you've been chased too." Then the box burned. I saw an angry expression on Dusk's face and- is that a blush on Color? I'm not gonna think about it. "Ugh... I just remembered," Dusk said, "you and Twi' have a telekinetic link." I facehoofed, stupid memory. I visualize a lock and a key. I unlocked the lock and then my mind became clearer, like Twi's magic was linked to mine, for all I know it might. 'Twi, can you hear me?' I said in my mind. 'Yeah, I can hear you. I can't believe we forgot about this.' Then we heard screams, oh no. I started to panic, and Color is trying to pull back Dusk from the mob that's pulling his back hooves- OH NO! I start to help Color, and eventually we saved Dusk. Dusk's eyes started to flash an unhealthy shade of black in one eye and red in the other. He unfolded his wings and fire started to burn around him, he screeched some kind of cry, it sounded similar to a bird I once heard, but I can't remember which bird. Most covered their ears or walked away at the sight of the flames, but some still stepped forward, wanting the two final tickets. "Freezin, if you and or Twi' is gonna do something, do it now!" Oh no, limited time, now what?! Suddenly, Twilight's horn and my horn glowed, and a flash of light appeared, the next thing I know we were in the library. I find a singed Spike, a half frozen Dusk, a slightly frozen and slightly burned Color, and Twi'. "Warn us next time..." they all said simultaneously. Dusk burned the ice and I healed the burns. "Quick! Barricade all entrances!" I froze the windows and doors shut. should stay that way for a while. Dusk's POV, 27 minutes later... It's been a good while, I'm gonna check outside. I put my ear to the wall, it was silent. "I think we're okay for now" I said. They all nodded in agreement. So I burned down the ice door, and we walked out, pretty sure we're okay. We were HORRIBLY wrong, not even five minutes later, we ran back inside, turned the lights out and froze the door again. We all stood in the room, the pitch black room. We decided to remain silent, make it seem like we're leaving a secret exit or something like that. Then the lights flashed on and Rainbow, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie were standing next to us. I instantly jumped back and spread my wings, sending cinders into the air, but instead of cinders, a ring of fire spread around my hooves, and a screeched like a bird. That's real new... Fluttershy and Rarity stepped back, Rainbow and Applejack took a small step forward, and Pinkie stood still, trying to see if she knew the bird sound. "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!!?" I screamed into the heavens, causing a lot of people in the room to flinch. "May I ask what your goal in all of this is?" Freezin asked. "Well," Rainbow started, "We want the extra ticket." Color was talking this time, "You mean these tickets?" He held up the two extra tickets. "You guys had an extra ticket?!" Everyone asked with the exception of everyone who had a ticket and Spike. "For someone we meet..." Dusk said, as if he wants to meet this person, like they're long lost mates or something. "Can you just stop doing favors for me?!" Twilight said, "It's annoying and it won't get you the ticket!" Everyone looked down. "Sugarcube," Applejack said, "I'm mighty sorry for botherin ya, I don't want the ticket if your upset." "I don't either," Fluttershy added, "I just feel horrible we put you through all that trouble." "I as well apologize darling" Rarity said. "Me too!" Pinkie said. "That means I get the Ticket!" everyone gave her a glare and I flew up and tackled her onto the floor, "SERIOUSLY?! AFTER ALL THAT!?" She smirked, "I'm kidding, I just knew it would tick you off." I started to blush and looked down, Rainbow and Freezin suppressed a laugh. "Regardless," Twilight said, "I'm gonna solve this, Spike take a note." Spike pulled paper and a quill out of nowhere, but before Twi' could say anything. Freezin interrupted, "Just cut it short, I'm going to return these tickets because if one friend isn't going, no one is going." Twilight nodded and Spike wrote the note, enclosed two tickets, and sent it off, another note came back immediately. "My dear pupil Twilight, why didn't you just say so?" he pulled out 6 tickets, "6 tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala!!!" Everyone cheered and got their tickets, another note appeared, I looked at it and read it aloud, "And one for you Spike." I chuckled, that was funny. "Well, I'm gonna set off" I said to everyone. I spread my wings and they hit something else, I flinched. Oh if they're Rainbow's wings again... AND, they are... we blushed deeply and set off without anther word, everyone else giggling or laughing, I sigh, this time between now and the gala is gonna be interesting. Chapter 6: An Old Friend (INTRO)A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARED!! I own this new challenger, dusk, and freezin. Color Sphere is owned by Epsilonic Memory but I made his Pony Disguise, he actually complimented me on it. 3rd Person's POV A mare in a grey cloak appeared on a cliff, she had silver bracelets on her hooves, each holding a crystal that is currently a purple color, a significant color that shows that she's happy, or something around that. "I got my information," she said, "And it might be right, I gotta check, he might be here. After so many years, I might be able to see him again, my friend..." She jumped down the cliff at blinding speeds, and landed next to a river, almost as fast as a pegasus. She traveled down the river till she came to a small town's outskirts. She took one step into town, and was confronted by a pony, "Who's there?!" he asked. The mare turned, her purple eyes gleaming into the night. "You suspicious folk there!" he asked, "why are you here!!!??!" "Please sir," she took a step forward, and the earth pony stepped back, "I'm just trying to find someone." "Sure ya are!" the pony said taking a step forward, ready to buck the girl, "And I'm an alicorn!" He ran up to the girl who instinctively dug her hooves into the ground as her bracelets started glowing, glowing a very bright light. The earth pony stopped and ran. "Run! Suspicious pony!" he screamed. Everypony shut their windows and doors and the streets were quiet. The girl sighed, "Well, not what I was expecting, but I still have to find him." And she set off for the streets, little did she know there was a tangerine pony looking at every detail that happened, her eyes wide with shock and somewhat fear. She ran back to her farm to wait for the next day, to tell her friends, and little did she know, the pegasus the new pony was looking for. Dusk's POV I started to wake up from my sleep, so I rubbed my eyes. I looked around, still in my tree. I yawned, what time is it... Judging by the sun, I slept to 11, again. I'm guessing Dash is starting to wake up to, wow we sleep late. I checked to see if Color was here, he wasn't. Well, might as well see if Dash is home, lucky for me, I live pretty close to her, The Outskirts. I flew over to her cloud house, still amazing, and called up to her. "Dash! Hey Dash! You there?!" She yawned, she's there. "Yeah yeah yeah, I'm up." She walked out, still looking like herself surprisingly, and yawned again. "You know where everypony is?" I asked, "Color's not home." She shook her head, "Let's go and check Ponyville out, race ya there!" The she bolted to town. "H-hey!" I said as I sped off. I caught up to her in time thankfully, but it was a tie, kinda short race too. We both dug our hooves into the ground to stop and folded back our wings, narrowly missing each other, thank Celestia. We looked around town, noone here. "Uhh..." I say confused. Someone tapped on my shoulder; I turned to find a mare in a grey cloak. "Uhhm, excuse me sir," she started, "I was wondering if you know where I can find someone." Rainbow still looked confused. "That depends ma'am, who are you looking for?" I asked. "Well.." she started but I didn't hear the rest because a purple aura surrounded Rainbow and a blue one surrounded me. "Wait, WHAT THE-" I yelled as someone pulled me back. I screeched into the air and cinders were sent into the air, causing the mare to look at me. I guess she thinks I'm weird or something. Can't exactly blame her. I just heard a slight whisper from her before I was completely thrown into a building, "Can't be him, his cutiemark was red and he had a mark on his forehead..." When I did stop flying, momentum and gravity started to hate me, it flung me into the wall and I just happened to land upside-down, I'm sure Rainbow had a better time than- OH DEAR CELESTIA! "Oh, that HAS to hurt" I heard Color say. Rainbow landed, THANK CELESTIA NOT ON ME, but right next to me, not even a centimeter next to me. We were literally touching hooves, had implants in the wall, and it hurt, alot, more so for Rainbow who hit the wall. My vision is till blurry, I'm still dazed, I fell onto the floor, which made me more dazed, if I have vision problems I could ask Freezin for help, I know he has a spell for it, I stole a book from him and found it. I didn’t get up, to weak, and then Rainbow fell on me, which didn't help us. Rainbow," I said, "Get off me." She rolled off me, and I stood wobbly. I opened my wings to steady myself and, aww come on, my wings touched Rainbow's wings (AN: I find that to be a sign of affection as a pegasus so it would be embarassing for two 'best friend' pegasi rather than couple pegasi) We blushed again, stupid incidents and what not... Some people smirked, and I think I heard Twi and Rarity giggle cuz they know what kind of sign two pegasi touching the other's wings with their wings is. I finally regain my senses and ask the important question, "WHAT'S GOING ON?!" "Well, that mare you were talking to scared Applejack, an old earth pony, and a lot of others when she came to town, and can make a special glow that isn't magic, she's an earth pony by the way." I looked at Applejack to confirm these accusations, she nodded. "Well, I don't see the problem, so I'm going out." Then the door froze. "She's dangerous," Freezin said, "I don't want you to risk it." I burn open the door and melt the ice. "Too scared huh, well I'm gonna help her." So I walked out, no one stopping me. And I saw the mare looking down, I wonder why... Mare's POV (name will be revealed later) I looked down, everyone is afraid of me. It's just like my childhood, where everyone ignored me for my abilities, for who I was. I sighed, onto the next town... Then that ash coated pegasus walked up to me. "What do you want...?" I asked. "I just wanted to help you find who you were looking for, also to apologize to my somewhat ignorant friends."I smirked, he is a lot like my brother. Too bad it can't be him, he'd remember me, he'd have his necklace too. "Meh, whatever. Let's go find my friend." He nodded in agreement, and we started walking around town. We started walking to the outskirts and I could see people going into the street again. I let a tear slide down my face, yep, this is just like before... FLASHBACK :D (New Character who was 15 is now 9) I was walking down the streets of Canterlot, various people running at the sight of me. Just had a meeting with Celestia to discuss something called 'Alchemy', the gift that I possess, which is acting more like a curse for me. I got the privilege to go to the castle library. I have to study Alchemy more tomorrow. "There she is!" a teenage colt said, "the freak of nature!" I turned my head to find a group of colts and about 3 mares staring at me. I took a step back. "P-please... Just leave me alone... I stuttered out, close to tears. The leader of the group, a colt about the age of 13, stepped up. "What's wrong? Afraid or something?" I was immobilized with fear, I couldn't do more than a slight shudder. The colt turned around and bucked me. I was thrown backwards. "P-please... S-stop..." I said, starting to cry. "HEY!" someone said in the road, I turned my head and tried to go back, and ended up being bucked forward. A stallion pegasus walked forward from an alley, a strap around his neck that lead to his mane, I guess he had a camera or something. "What are you doing to her?!" The gang leader smirked and answered calmly, "Why, we're just getting rid of this freak of nature, care to watch?" The stallion thought something for a sec. "Let me think," he said, "...no" He then spread his wings and before the group of others could blink, the colt punched the leader and he fell, causing the others to retreat. He sighed, "Causing Trouble wherever they go, for me and for everyone..." He turned to me, "You okay?" I try to stand and I could barely move, so I shake my head painfully. HE started walking to me, he looked a year older than me, and it also seems as if... he has a gift, something that makes him unique, but also hated. "Okay, I got limited time, my scream gave away my location, but I have a way that can save us for now" he said. He set his wings on fire, this has to be an enchantment of fire, I read about them once. There are several, and it's possible to have multiple enchantments of one kind, and there are two very powerful ones too, but I don't know much. Anyways, he set his wings on fire and I smiled in a look of amazement, this is the first time in a while I felt safe. He picked me up and I blushed lightly, he put me on his back, and with the simple words, "Hang on", we were off into the sky. "Thanks..." I managed to say. "No problem," he replied, "You can call me Heart if ya want." "T-thank you..." I said in my half unconscious state. "I need to know your name miss" he said, "I have to know the person I saved." I smiled, first person to ask that, first person nice to me. "Raven Soul, just call me Raven..." I said before blacking out. FLASHBACK, END! (we'll continue it later :D) We walked to the outskirts of town; people who were here are now in hiding or in town center, trying to decide my fate. Well, either way, I'll be okay for now. "So, who does your friend look like?" the colt asked. "He has a necklace I gave him for starts; he also has a flame cutiemark that's red and an ash grey coat. His appearance might've changed since I last saw him though. It's been 5 years." He nods and then asks, "Why here?" I give him a confused expression. "Why did you come to Ponyville of all places to look?" "Well," I started, wanting to keep my meeting with Princess Luna a secret. DIFFERENT FLASHBACK I made a door in the wall using my alchemy, with guards left and right trying to stop me. I was holding a make-shift knife in my teeth. I threw it at a nearby guard that was way to close, it made him go back, but it missed him. I opened the door which led to the throne room of Canterlot Castle, and I'm probably the first to do so in a raid, a single pony raid, and still live. After I entered, I turned the door back into the wall. I screamed into the throne room, "WHERE IS HE?!" This caused guards' heads to turn towards me and they charged with their spears. I clapped my hooves together and pressed it against the wall, causing the wall to extend out and around me, defending me to a point. I created a transmutation circle to make sure they didn't know I was still using my only weapon. I tapped the circle with my hooves and it started to glow, this caused hands in the earth to grow up and grab lots of the soldiers, so I simply walked past punching everyone who got in my way to the Princesses, who at the moment, are just sitting there. "I punched the last guard in my way and walked up to the Princesses, not even taking into consideration that I didn't bow. "Where is he?!" I yelled. No reaction. "ANSWER ME!" I yelled. No reaction. I grabbed the nearest weapon, and transmuted it into a ball of rock, I can't kill royalty, or anyone for that matter. I chucked it at Celestia, and it phased through! "What?!" I said confused. Something then struck me in the back of the head and I blacked out instantly. I'm standing, it’s pitch black, this has to be a dream. I knew that. I walked forward trying to find something, anything. Then the darkness grew into a night sky, and a moon. Stars were starting to spark everywhere. Then a bright light made me shield my eyes, and Princess Luna stood in front of me. "Why are thou here young one. It is not thou who wishes to bring harm to thy sister and I?" she asked. I let a tear slide, the first in a while. "Where is he? I know he was here. And no one, not even Royalty, will stop me! I know what happened! A year ago he died! I asked his mother where he was taken, and it brought me here. NOW WHERE IS HE!?" I yelled at the royal goddess of night. "Thy wishes to seek a pony, one from thou's childhood? Thy does not know much, but I do know someone like thy describes, ash coat, flame cutiemark." I stood there, his description, I know what he looked like and I reminded myself a million times and then some, but it hurts to hear it. I simply nod. "The Pony you seek is in Ponyville, thou's destination is only a day's trip away. But I must warn thee, he has lost memories, and some can't be replaced, only reclaimed, and thy pony must meet you to reclaim these memories." I get a huge smile on my face, he's alive, he's really alive. Luna came up to me then, and tapped her horn on my forehead. A flash of light emanated from me for a brief second. "Yes, I know thou's past now. I has been long and treacherous, and thou wishes to meet 'your knight' per say?" That made me blush lightly, "Uhh well..." Is what I could sputter out. "Yes, I know what thou seeks," Luna said with a smirk, "Maybe when thou is ready, you can become thy's protege." I smiled again, "I-I would like that Princess Luna..." Luna smiled, "Please just call me Luna Raven, just Luna." End of Flashback that was somewhat long. "Uhh, miss? Hello?" the colt said as I snapped back into reality. "Uhh what?" He smirked, "Taking a trip down memory lane?" I nodded in response. "Heh, wish I could do that" he muttered. We continued to walk for a few minutes. "What species is he?" "Pegasus, he's a Pegasus." Then a light bulb went off in his head. "I'll be back in a few minutes." He zoomed off, leaving a trail blaze of purple fire in his wake, and just as quickly as he went off, he came back with a pony on his back. "Okay, to cut it short, he's my new brother, he's a changeling, keep the secret, Color do you know her?" He shook his head. "Sorry Dusk, never met her. But if she's looking for a pegasus, ash coat and all, might be you." He thought about this for a moment, "Can't be, I fit the discription but still!" Then I saw a piece of chain, a piece of midnight blue chain. I pulled out the chain and saw it, the necklace I gave my friend years ago, a midnight blue chained necklace with an amethyst jewel hung at the end. That brings back memories. "H-Heart?" I asked, "Is, that really you?" He gave a confused expression right away, not sure what to say. Then he put his hoof to his head and fell, nearly screaming in agony. "D-Dusk!?" The other colt said. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my head I put both my hooves to my head and fell next to Dusk. Then, darkness... I woke up to a near complete darkness, the only light emanating from Heart and I. "Wh-where are we?" he asked. Then to answer his questions, a beam of light shot out of the darkness and onto Heart's head. The light looked like a stream of images, and then it stopped, right before a specific event. Then the light emanating from Heart spread everywhere and then it looked like we were watching a scene from our point of views, like a flashback of sorts. Yet another flashback cept this is a continuation. I woke up lying on a bed. Well something like one, it was a card board box, a pillow, and newspaper, in other words, it was cold and this was a horrible shelter. I was in an alley, it was closed off on 3 sides. Heart was standing next to me, almost guarding me. He looked down at me and smiled, "You're Awake." I blinked, am I dreaming or something? "So," he said, "You okay? I'm not exactly the master of healing but none of your bones were broken, you have a few bruises here and there, and minor cuts. I packed bandages with me so I patched you up." I looked at my hooves, they had bruises on them. I looked at the rest of my body, bandages and bruises. "Oh uhhm... Thank you" I said. "It's no problem, love to help those who are like me, unique, special, everything. If someone needs help, I'll do my best." He smiled and leaned on the wall. I saw that he had cuts. "You have cuts." He looked at himself, "Oh, I do? It's nothing really. I looked down, there was blood on the floor, it leads all the way to Heart. There was a small pool of blood below him. He pulled something out of his pack; I don't know what it is. He sighed. "You know what this is?" he asked me. I walked up, to be honest, it was actually easy, I guess he did a good job. I looked at what he was holding. It was a piece of sapphire, it was in the shape of triangle. "It's a sapphire." He nods. "I found two gems, they fit perfectly with each other, I also have two chains, one's silver, and the other one is black, like a black pearl." He pulled out the chains and the other gem, an amethyst. "I was saving this if I ever met my first friend on the run; I want you to have it." He connected the silver chain with the sapphire, and put the necklace around my neck. I started to blush. He then combined the amethyst with the black chain and put it around his neck. He then came closer to me which made me blush deeper and then he then put the amethyst and sapphire next to each other, they fit together perfectly. "Beautiful..." I said, my eyes wide, still with a deep blush on my face. "One day, if I leave, I'll see you again, no matter what" he said with a smile on his face. I nodded my head. Then he started to fall, which made me worry. "Oww... Guess those cuts weren't minor." I undid my bandages, flipped them over, and put them over his cuts. "Eheh, thanks..." he said. I smiled, first friend ever. End of Flashback I woke up from my semi-coma. Heart and I stood up at the same time, our necklaces dangling out of our manes. I noticed a small new detail on the jewels, our necklaces now had our initials, mine said R.S. and Heart's said D.H. "Uhhh, D.H.?" I asked? "Oh yeah, you don't know my first name Raven, it's Dusk." I smile, I found him. "Well I'm gonna have to explain things, now" Dusk said, "C'mon let's go." Dusk and I then started walking to the center of town. The other colt, who Dusk told me was named Color Sphere later, and then asked a question, "What just happened?"
Prologue: A Fallen AngelI DO NOT OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT DUSK HEART, HIS PARENTS, AND THE CRYSTALS. I GIVE THANKS TO SILVER CHARGER FOR IDEA HELP. 1 Year Ago... "You can't do this to me!" I yelled at my father and mother, "You can't disown me! I thought you loved me!" "You're a disgrace. We don't need or want you" they said. I couldn't believe this. My own parents betrayed me, threw me out into the streets. Leave me with nothing. I couldn't take this betrayl, it's too much. I let a single tear run down my face. Then three crystals of pure darkness and hatred sprout out of the ground, empowering me with their energy. All the sadness I felt was replaced by feelings of pure hatred. "You betrayed me! You never loved me! You hated me! You always loved everything you had, EXCEPT ME!!!" They stood there in comeplete fear of what I can do, what my new power can do. The one thing I didn't know was my jet black coat, my new metallic colored mane, and the glow of red hatred in my eyes. "You always hated me! Everyone has! I had no friends! I never truly lived! And now I have nothing left..." I started to cry in my rage. The crystals shattered, turning my rage into comeplete pain. Everything about my changed, everything visual about me, darkened with pain, sadness, rage, hatred. I start to scream in agony, the pain is too much, I started to lose control. With the new found power, lightning of shadows shot down. They scattered and hit everyhthing excluding my now ex-parents. Tornadoes, Tempests, Hurricanes, Wildfires, everything blazed around me, eminating a dark energy. A beam of pure light shot out at me, dispellling the dark energy from my system. I saw Celestia and all her glory, staring down at me. I whisper two words to them, all of them, "I'm.... Sorry..." Then before blacking out, I saw something, my origional cutie mark, a blazing red flame, gone... 3rd Person POV... Celestia stood over the limp body of Dusk Heart, a young Pegasus, seemingly stopping his future then and there. "He is gone now. He has lost truly, everything" Celestia said, lowering her head. "Well now he won't be a burden on anyone else!" the father said, "He's been nothing but trouble to everyone!' The mother nodded in agreement. "You know nothing, he has lost his own life and that's all you can think Blaze Fighter? Has all he caused is trouble? What would he do instead if his parents actually loved him? I have seen this happen before, but the punishment was not as severe. You, Blaze Fighter and Highjewel, caused his death. I will be taking him back to Canterlot." Highjewel looked like she might have a breakdown. Blaze Fighter just asked, "Why?" "I can restore him" Celestia responded. "Why bring that trash back to life?" Blaze Fighter asked, "He is worth nothing!" "Everyone is worth something" Celestia responded before teleporting herself and Dusk Heart's body back to Canterlot to be restored. 1 YEAR LATER (3 Days before the Summer Sun Celebration, aka, the day Twilight goes to Ponyville)... Dusk Heart's restoration is nearly complete. Celestia's new found cure is working to an extent. The only thing it can't restore is memories, which he can live without. Noone except Celestia and a young unicorn who worked in the medical labs of the royal staff knew about him, the unicorn was Freezin, the one unicorn in existance (at the time) that had the ancient/lost enchantment of ice, allowing unbelieveable control over ice/snow magic. He was observing the progress of the restoration in the medical lab. "The progress is going as planned, I can't belief something like that can happen, especially to someone so young. The magic incorperated into this did require the power of my enchantment and Celestia's ancient magic to be weakened, but it will be worth it to have this pegasus live again" Freezin said to himself. Suddenly, the magic started to disperse and Freezin felt a sudden surge of energy in himself. "This is definitely not supposed to happen!" Freezin said to noone in particular, "I have to tell Celestia!" "I'm already here," Celestia said to the young unicorn, "And this means that the restoration is comeplete. Dusk Heart has been saved from his death. And it's all thanks to you, without the enchantment's power, I couldn't have done this without that power." "Well you could haeve if you were still linked to the elements" Freezin replied. The energy then dispersed at the end of that statement and the pegasus fell to the ground. "We have to send him off to a new life now," Celestia told Freezin, "He has to live a new life." "I know, he remembers basic skill like breathing, eating, walking, flying, and everything. But still, will we ever see him again?" Freezin asked. "I know we will. I'm sending him to the location of the next Summer Sun Celebration, something is going to happen. It IS the thousanth year now." "Okay, we'll send him off now, but we need to make it so he has amnesia from an injury, a survivable one" Freezin remarked. "That's why, as much as I don't want to, we're gonna make him crash." As Celestia finished her statement, her horn glowed and teleported/blasted Dusk Heart to the skies above Ponyville. "We'll have to send the mayor a request right? You know, for a house and everything? Not to mention a job" Freezin asked. "We don't have to worry about that, his job is now on the weather team of Ponyville and I'm pretty sure someone will help him with housing" Celestia replied with a wink towards Freezin. "What do you- oh, you told someone?" Freezin asked. "Not exactly, but he's gonna find someone instead." "I'm not sure what that means but I'm guessing he's gonna find a friend" Freezin said. "Exactly" Celestia said in a matter of factly tone as a note appeared in front of her, "And now, it's time to start his new life."
Chapter 1: A New FriendI DO NOT OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT DUSK HEART AND FREEZIN (and some added or changed text, FiM is owned by Hasbro) Dusk Heart's POV: Well I wake up from a peaceful yet long sleep I think. I REALLY don't know. And the next thing I know, I'm falling over some kind of forest, it looks, well, scary like. The ground is getting closer, really close. Then I realize something, I'm not panicking. "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Then, I crashed, going through 5 trees, 2 bushes, and creating a crater in the ground. Oh, and there's a mare pegasus flying over head questioning what happened, until impact anyway where it sounded like there was an explosion. Oh, and I’m in pain. Man am I oblivious. I groan aloud and hope that damage to me is minimal. I try moving, but just fall back into the dirt because of so much pain. I scream in agony, and I see the pegasus fly down towards me. "Uhh you okay? That was a bad wipeout." "I just fell out of the sky going over 50 mile per hour, managed to crash into 2 bushes and 5 trees, knocking them all down and into the crater, and every time I move, it hurts like crud and I scream in obvious agony. I'm just peachy." I reply in a sarcastic tone. "Well sorry! Well I'm gonna take you to a hospital or something now, and don't try to argue." "No! I hate hospitals! I think, I don't really remember much" I reply. "Ughhh. Fine, you can stay with me I guess." Oh thank the heavens. I hate hospitals I think. I think I have memory loss of something. She tried to lift me onto her back, which caused me to scream in agony. "Oh quit your whining!" She said with a smirk. Ughh. I'll cooperate, I mean, I don't really have a choice anymore. 5 minutes later... THAT was fast. And I mean FAST! She's the fastest thing I’ve ever seen! Oh and I'm still in pain. Which is healing, unnaturally fast? I wonder how that's possible... "Well you have some kind of amnesia" the mare said, "And if you're wondering, the name's Rainbow Dash." "Well sorry for being a burden on you, I have no idea what, where, or who I am. Just my name, which, by the way, is Dusk Heart" I respond. "Well I know you're the strange pony and all, but no cutie mark? You’re old enough to have a special talent!" "uhh..." I responded with dumbly. "Yeah... I have no idea what that is." Instant Facehoof. "Wow you're dumb." "Well at least I remember one thing; I'm probably faster than you." She then stood there gawking. "IM THE FASTEST PEGASUS THERE EVER IS OR WAS! I CAN TOTALLY BEAT YOU HOOVES DOWN!" "Riiiiiiggggghhhhttttt.... If I'm able to fly right now, I could beat you. I know that." I try to fly again, and wince at the slowly decreasing pain. It's healing fast and I should be able to fly in about 15 minutes or sooner. "Well, I better go and find the new weather pegasus. I got a note saying there will be a new pegasus, a weather pegasus. It was one note too, from the princess herself! She said that there would be a new pegasus that would come soon after I read the note." "Well that could be me" I reply to Rainbow Dash. "Once you're better, I'm testing how fast you can clear the sky to see if you can be that pegasus" Rainbow Dash said. "Okay then 'Dashie'." The little nickname I gave her put a light blush on her face, either because she liked it, or because she liked when I said it and became flustered. Either that or I'm stupid and must be seeing things. "D-Don't call me that!" That means I'm hallucinating. "Okay then? What's wrong with it?" "EVERYTHING! You must have a natural talent for annoying people." "Guess it comes in the family, I dunno." She sighs and said, "Well at least I know that I can annoy you too." "How so?" I ask, pretty much signing the contract of my embarrassment. "I dunno 'Duskie', How can I?" Smart girl, using my own trick against myself. I think my cheeks are getting hotter, but barely, indicating I'm blushing. "Uhh... Let's not call each other that till we can handle not being so flustered." We both chuckle at the remark and Rainbow Dash gave a slight nod. "I can tell that we're gonna be friends Dusk." About an hour later... Well I passed my exam with flying colors, matching Rainbow Dash's speed by clearing the skies in 10 seconds flat. So she decided to reward me with trying to help me remember things. So far I remember basic skills, and my dream of being a Wonderbolt, an elite flying team. Those things I'm positive about, I don't remember much else, so we decide to go and practice tricks for the Wonderbolts which would be coming in a few days for this Summer Sun Celebration. Rainbow Dash and I have to clear the skies but we both thought, later. We decide to work/learn some tricks and work and or develop duo tricks. We started with simple tricks like barrel rolls, loop-de-loops, speed boosting, etc. Then we started to work on more advanced combos and tricks like shooting down at incredible speeds while doing barrel rolls to create a wind current like tornado around us and pulling up at the last second to make a 10 second tornado. There is also this other trick that Rainbow Dash showed me called the Buccaneer Blaze which apparently creates an explosion. It took a long time to do that one but still, I eventually got it. Now we're going to attempt her best trick, the Sonic Rainboom. Which I'm guessing we're going to attempt doing this together and fail miserably. "If you're thinking we're going to fail, we might, I haven't done this trick since I was a filly." Wow she's like psychic or something. Well let's try this trick! We start flying up over the clouds, then we sky rocket down towards the earth at an angle where we're still going forward, reaching critical speeds which then form a mach cone around us, indicating we have broken the speed of sound, mach 1 basically. Then the cone starts to increase in size, 2, 3, 4. We're gonna do this! Then we just stopped. "Uh-oh" Rainbow said, "Brace for sling shooting!" "Wait wha-" Then the sound barrier shot us across the lake we were working by, over town, and into a Lavender Unicorn and White Unicorn and we managed to push them into mud of all things. "Sorry," Rainbow and I said with a smirk, "Let us help." We got a raincloud and started to jump on it, getting the precipitation to rain on the two unicorns. "Heh, sorry, I'll help again," Rainbow said before making a rainbow tornado around the unicorns. "My very own, patented, Rain-Blow-Dry!" When that was done, the lavender unicorn's mane was poofed up and it looked hilarious! The white unicorn just fixed his with his magic. Rainbow, a purple baby dragon (?) and I started to burst out in laughter at the unicorn's mane, we couldn't help it. Even the white unicorn let out a smirk. "Ahem, my name is Twilight Sparkle, I'm assuming you two are Rainbow Dash and Dusk Heart," Twilight said with a hint of annoyance towards us. "The one and only!" Rainbow said, I'm finishing this sentence, "You heard of us?" "I heard you were supposed to be keeping the sky clear!" She responded with angrily. "Yeah yeah we'll get to it" I said as I rested in a tree and Rainbow in a cloud. "Just as soon as we finish practicing" Rainbow said, finishing my sentence. "I heard the dragon say Is that natural for them to speak like that?" to the white unicorn who whispered no in response. "For what exactly?" Twilight asked. "The Wonderbolts!" We both say at the same time, pointing to a poster. "THE Wonderbolts," Twilight asked. "Yep" both Rainbow and I say. "The most elite flying team in ALL of Equestria?" "That's them." "Please, they'd never recruit two pegasi who couldn't keep the sky clear for a day!" "Hey, we could clear the sky in ten, seconds, flat. Five together" I remark. "Prove it." And that's where we started, I cleared left, Rainbow cleared right. It was definitely easy and we finished in 5 seconds flat. Twilight and the dragon (who's name was Spike if I can remember Twilight saying it) stood their gawking, not believing what they were seeing. The white unicorn just smiled up at us as if he knew me, wait does he? "Hey, do I know you?" "I guess you can say that" he responds, why is he being cryptic? "My name is Freezin, head medic in the Royal Staff. I guess you can say I'm your long lost brother." Wow, that's heavy. I can't belief I have a brother somehow. "Can't wait to talk to you again Dusk." Then they walked off to finish their duties."
Chapter 2: Nightmare's ReturnSTILL DONT OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT FREEZIN, DUKS HEART, AND PLOT UNRELATED TO EPISODES MADE BY HASBRO, MEANING I DONT OWN MUCH XD. I ALSO OWN THE ************ (spoilers even though it's the title) FREEZIN'S POV: Well I'm lucky to tell him that like Celestia requested, I hate lying to him but still. Anyways, we have two stops left, decor and music, before we research something at the library. We're going to Town Hall when something catches my eye, Twilight is, again, ticked at the loss of time. "Hey Twilight?" "Yes Freezin?" Twilight asked in as calm, a tone as possible. "I've been noticing that you have been angry at the loss of time back there, what's rushing you?" "Oh wow I hoped no one noticed." "It's kinda obvious." Twilight remained silent for a while, till she told me everything, about Nightmare Moon, about the Elements of Harmony, the thousand year thing, even though I already knew about this. "Well if you're THAT worried I'll help you out. I bet that my ice magic can help in some way." I replied to her. "Thanks Freezin, aside from Spike, your probably the only one who will help me." "No problem, hey we're here." We walked into the Town Hall to find it covered in decor that beautifully matches with the Celebration. "Beautiful..." Spike said, looking love struck. "Yes, the decor is beautiful indeed" Twilight remarked. "Not that," Spike said, pointing the the (other) white unicorn in the room with a lustrous and flowing purple mane. "Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle and this is Freezin, we-" "Ah, just a second, I'm 'in the zone' as you would say. Ahh yes, Sparkle always does the trick, does it not! Now how may I help-" The white unicorn (not me) gasped pointing to Twilight's mane, "Oh my stars, darling! What ever happened to garphuel? (i THINK that's how you spell it XD it's in the episode) "Oh you mean my mane? Well it's a long story, well I just came to check the decorations, and now I'll be out of your mane!" "Out of MY mane? What about yours?!" She then pushed Twilight to who knows where. "Hey! Where are we going?! Help!!" "Oh boy, this may lead to be a problem." Then some light blue magic, much like mine but more sky blue than ice blue grabbed me by the tail. "HEY WAIT!" "Oh I didn't forget about you dear, you're coming with me too." "HELP!!" After various outfits tried onto Twilight and various hair changes, not to mention the various outfits to me, we FINALLY escaped and were walking towards our last stop music. "Well that wasn't needed in the slightest. I am glad we got out" I said. And before Twilight could reply, we heard the sweet song of birds in one general direction. We decided to go towards it, thinking our final stop was there, and it was. We saw a yellow pegasus conducting an ensemble of birds, gently pointing out mistakes like when the blue bird was a tiny bit off tune. "Hello!" Twilight shouted over the birds. "Oh uhm, sorry, I just heard the sound of your birds and it was really good. May I ask what your name is?" "I'm..." Wow that was quiet, I couldn't hear that. "I'm sorry but I didn't quite hear that." This time was quieter and then it turned into a whimper. "Oh looks like your birds are back, I think it's best that we leave now, c'mon Spike, you too Freezin." Then the yellow pegasus spotted Spike and instantly ran up to him and rammed Twilight out of the way. "Ohhh! A baby dragon! He's soooo cutee!" she said. "Well well well!" Spike responded, causing me to roll my eyes. "Ooo! He can talk I didn't know dragons could talk! I want to know everything about you! My name is Fluttershy, what's yours?" "My name is Spike! And my life started out as a cute, purple and green egg." Oh boy, this is gonna take a while, might as well keep myself entertained by summoning a snow cloud. 30 Minutes later... I'm blocking out Fluttershy and Spike right now and entertaining myself with snow clouds, hittin g them, catching the snowflakes, icing the snowflakes, punching the clouds, and many other things. I feel bad for Twilight not being able to do this yet. We FINALLY got to the library and practically ran inside with a tired Spike excuse. When we got inside I made a remark to Twilight saying that was rude, it was. "Well I'm not usually this way, I just want to get this research done as fast as possible. Now where's the light switch." Then the lights shot on, with over a hundred ponies in here screaming 'SURPRISE!'. Well that blasted me to my feat, summoning my ice powers, including pieces of royal guard armor made of ice, my cutiemark as the chest crest, and two clouds shooting ice blue beams of ice (ICE BEAM :D). This caused some ponies to panic, and some to stare at me in awe. "It's okay Freezin," Twilight said, "Put your guard down." I reluctantly shattered the armor and sent the shard to disperse the clouds. The remaining shards melted. "Hiyah!" the pink pony from earlier said. "I’m Pinkie Pie! Remember me? I was the first pony you talked to when you came here and you introduced yourself which probably means your new and I would know because I know everypony in Ponyville and I mean Everypony so I just had to throw you a surprise party! And then I noticed that there were two of you so I also thought why not throw both of you a party so then we threw a party here! Were you surprised? Were you?" After processing that into one sentence I answered a simple yes. Twilight was annoyed at this and decided to go back to her new room (after eating a fire cupcake). I went to go after her and see if I can help her with anything, and before going to her, I noticed Dusk Heart hiding from Pinkie Pie. 1 Day Later... (Night of the Day before Summer Sun Celebration) DUSK HEART'S POV: Well the next day is about to start, we Rainbow Dash and I are waiting around in town hall for the Summer Sun Celebration to begin. I got to meet some of Rainbow Dash's other friends (rest of Main 6) and talk to Twilight and Freezin. Before I know it, it's almost time for the next day. The mayor stood on the stage with Royal Guard members. "Citizens of Ponyville! As your mayor I am glad to announce the begining of the Summer Sun Celebration!" This caused everypony to cheer loudly. "Now I will love to present to you, the pony who brings us the sun and the moon each and everyday, PRINCESS CELESTIA!!!" Rarity opened the curtain where the Princess was supposed to stand and when there was nopony there, everypony started to panic. Freezin created his Ice Armor and Ice Clouds and got ready to fight, against who though, I don't know. Then where the Princess was supposed to stand, purple smoke appeared. Forming into the shape of another alicorn. "Ahahahahaha!!!!! Oh my beloved subjects! I'ts been so long since I've seen your beloved sun loving faces!" Freezin, Rainbow and I thought the same thing and charged head on. Except only Freezin and I got through because Applejack grabbed Rainbow by the tail. Freezin fired ice beams at the alicorn and I just charged head on, hoping to get in a Buccaneer Blaze. The ice beams were deflected, but with difficulty, and they hit Freezin's armor, shattering it instead, sending him into the crowd next to Twilight. I just charged head on, without armor, hoping for the best, boy am I stupid. I was shot by dark lightning, (why did it feel familiar?) and was sent out of the sky, and blasted into Rainbow Dash. "Oww..." I get off Rainbow Dash who then charges at the alicorn who turned into smoke.
Chapter 3: More Elements, More Ponies!STILL DONT OWN ANYTHING CEPT MY OCS (Freezin and DuskHeart) AND PLOT OUTSIDE OF THE EPISODES. Freezin's POV I saw Twilight running out of town hall and I decide to follow her, I'm still dazed at the attack, so I walk around back and forth like, hoping nopony can see me. I eventually fall over and decide to just lay there. my head still hurting. I suddenly feel myself being lifted, by a pegasus? magic? I can't even tell. Must be magic, cuz I only feel the air around me, noone's hooves till about five second when the magic dispersed. "It's okay surgarcube, I got ya." "Thank Celestia somepony found me, especially someone like Applejack. "Go to the library. Twilight is there, and I'm assuming Rainbow Dash or maybe Dusk Heart saw too." "Dusk Heart? You mean that pegasus from earlier? He got beat up all right, but he's fine." "Good..." I reply before blacking out for a little. And what feels like no time at all, I'm back in the library. "Ughh... Where am I" I asked, still dazed a little. After that, I saw a faint low of magic, it was magenta colored, and instantly, I felt better. I sat up from the ground which I was now on. Shaking my head, "What happened? I remember getting hit with my own attack and blacking out, not much else." "We have to find these Elements of Harmony Freezin, they're in the Everfree forest. just follow me, I remember where my crater is." Yikes, I didn't think there would be a crater! Geez Celestia, what did you do to the kid... The group of myself, Twilight, Applejack, Dusk Heart, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie now stood next to a giant crater, and the entrance to the Everfree forest. Celestia did a number on Dusk Heart when I look at a crater, but he's fine now so I shrug it off. "Well, here we are. The Everfree forest, location of the Elements of Harmony. Why do I have this feeling that we're going to be tested" I remark. "Well let's blow this pop stand!" Dusk Heart said excitedly. "Well, I appreciate the help everyone, but I'd prefer I go through this alone now" Twilight said. "Not gonna happen sugarcube! We're sticken to ya like caramel on a candy apple!" Applejack replied walking into the forest. "Especially if there are candy apples in there!" Pinky said, making Twilight and I look at her, "What? Those things are good!" Then we started our trek into the forest. Now we are at a cliff, nowhere else to go now, the path continuing below us. "Well now what?" I ask, barely spotting the small crack there was below us, breaking the cliff bit by bit. "Look out! I said pushing Dusk Heart off the platform then blasted the crack with ice, slowing it down. "Get off the cliff!" I screamed, allowing the chance to get all of the ponies off the cliff, well most of them, only Applejack and Twilight didn't get off in time, the others (Dusk Heart, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity) did get off. The ice shattered and the magic connection connecting me with the ice caused me to be pushed back in recoil and, more than I'd like, got shot off the falling piece of cliff. I managed not to get hurt and with the momentum made and iced slide back using various branches, bushes, and magic. When I did get down, I saw Twilight hanging on the cliff, Applejack clinging onto her hooves so she doesn't fall. I didn't catch the beginning of what they said, but I heard Applejack say to let go. "Are you crazy?!" Twilight responded with plenty of panic."No I'm not, what I'm telling you is the honest truth, all you have to do is trust me." And then Twilight did the unexpected, let go. She was caught be Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash though. Good... Wait, that means there are challenges. DANG IT! 15 minutes later (after Rarity's challenge)... DUSK HEART'S POV: Well, we went through various challenges and we STILL are not at that castle. We then got to this cave, great. More challenges. "C'mon, let's just go already." We all walked into the cave to find a dimly fire lighted room. Why do I have this feeling that something is coming... "Something's not right..." I feel as if I'm alone in here, but something else, something darker, is watching me. I turn to hope and find my friends there, able to help me. But no one was there. No one. "What the..." Then my wings disappeared. "Ahh!" This isn't funny anymore. Now I'm actually worried. "T-This isn’t funny anymore! Show yourself!" I started to look in all directions, there was no escaping this, no entrance, no exit. Then something dark struck me in the back. I turn to see what it was, but nothing was there. Then again, and again, and again. "S-stop it!" Alright now I'm scared. Then tendrils of purple lightning shot me in all directions. Then Nightmare Moon appeared in front of me. "Give up Pegasus, stop being a foal and give up, there's nothing you can do. Your friends are watching you suffer, and there's nothing they or anyone else can do. Just. Give. Up." Now I'm close to tears, the pain is getting to be too much. And the volts in this lightning are weak, it's the darkness that hurts. And that's how it felt like earlier. "I won't give in..." "You might as well. No one can save you from your suffering demise." Then when everything felt nearly lost, a crash was heard, like the shattering of glass, and a black that glue of cyan with a visible rainbow mane appeared, crashing into Nightmare Moon dispersing her into a shadowy smoke once more. I started to cry at the pain. There has to be a way to get rid of this lightning. Then the thing I didn't think was possible would happen, Rainbow hugged me, FRIGGIN HUGGED ME!!! I mean SERIOUSLY! She basically never opens up to emotion like this, EVER! She regained her color and with a smile shattered the lightning into fragments that fell and shattered onto the floor, this gave me hope, that someone was there, someone I can fight for, someone I can persevere for. The dream shattered, like a rock hitting glass, with me on the floor of the cave and Rainbow not hugging me anymore, or stopped, not wanting the waking members to see her show affection. I think everyone else blanked out on watching, after Rainbow broke the glass. "Don't ever tell anyone about what happened, got it?" she asked with a light blush on her cheeks. "Got it. Won't tell a soul" I respond. "Ughh... I blacked out watching that, what happened?" Freezin asked, "I think Dash broke whatever was blocking us out and then she did something." "NOTHING HAPPENED!" Both me and Dash said at the same time, too fast I may add, causing us to blush lightly. "Tell us darling, no one else out there will know after all!" Rarity remarked. Fluttershy nodded in agreement, I'm not seeing why she would. Great, now everyone wanted to know. "BOLTING!" I scream before flying off. "HEY WAIT UP!" Rainbow screams before catching up to me. Everyone else looked confused when I looked back, that's good for me. When both Rainbow and I looked back, we didn't notice the searing flames ahead of us and, by accident, accidentally went through them, well I did, Rainbow looked ahead first and stopped last second, I went into the flames, IN TO, THE FLAMES. Well more through it more than anything. I guess I didn't notice anything. Then I noticed when I crashed into a tree, the tree burst into flames, died instantly, didn’t spread, and fell into a river steaming. Freezin's POV (This won't last long, sorry.) Wow, my adopted brother (?) just slammed through fire, felt nothing, and killed a tree. How does that work? Anyways, I know wind power will make it spread, animals can't help, we can't burry it with trees, I’m pretty sure giving ANYTHING to it won't EVER help, and my brother is on the other side, magic is the only thing left, and because I don't know if Twilight can use ANY elemental magic, it's up to me. I sigh, hope for the best and attempt a powerful ice spell, Hail Storm. Good news, it worked, bad news. It’s a work in progress spell so it didn't completely kill the fire wall of doom and destruction. Well, maybe wind can help now, especially with ice in it, wait, I know a spell for that! "Hold on to something and or each other!" I scream at the top of my lungs to the others. My horn started to glow that ice blue color it always did, and I tried to focus on summoning a, yes this is what I'm summoning, a blizzard. On a small scale, this should completely screw around with the flames and, in a nutshell, kill them, I feel like they're alive. If this DOESN'T work though, I can be A. blown into the fire, B. lose control of the spell and make a blizzard that CAN cover the Everfree Forest in 5 inches of snow, C. Go magic ballistic, or D. All of the above. The risks are REALLY high here. Well, can't hurt to try. (I'm going to regret saying that) A cloud started to make the area darker, and it started to snow, and I don't mean light, it was pretty much dumping the arctic all over us. Then the wind picked up, causing the snow to be blowing onto the fire 75% directly. The wind is getting really strong now; I feel myself being pushed in the snow, that's not good. I feel myself being thrown off my feet into the remaining flames, which were still and a very large height. The pain started to spike to dramatic levels, I try not to scream so the spell doesn't backfire or I lose control. Twilight's POV (sorry Freezin's was so short, and yes this POV is gonna happen) I'm watching Freezin burn, trying to help us cross and stop Nightmare Moon, without giving a care to what may happen to him. Trying not to lose any control and trying not to lose this fight. He is powerful, VERY powerful. I'm pretty much clinging to a tree like any cat would now, the winds were that strong, only someone powerful, like Celestia herself, could conjure up these fierce winds. Now getting back to what's at hand, I feel useless, I can't really help Freezin, despite my magic abilities and training under Celestia. He has a gift I don't have, and knows a type of magic I don't know. He is a pony who can perform elemental magic, a magic rarely used and or mastered. I have to help in some way, and I'm about to let go of this tree, and the others are noticing it. "You're not seriously hoping you can get through this like Dusk, are you? I see you nearly letting go and heading straight into Freezin, which wouldn't be good" Rainbow Dash remarked. I know she's right, if I let go, Freezin may lose focus. I just wish I can do SOMETHING! I hate not having control of these situations, or at least not having to help anyone in them. I started to feel a surge of energy at the thought, almost like it came from deep down in my soul. Then I closed my eyes, and focused, not sure what I'm focusing on though. I reopen my eyes and they started to glow white, like a homing beacon. I'm not sure how I know this, I guess it was because it seemed like the only thing that could change right now, I didn't notice anything else change. Then I saw things, I don't know what exactly they were though, they came in colors though, surrounding the others. There were glows of Orange (Applejack), Cyan (Rainbow Dash), Grass Green (Fluttershy), and occasionally changed to other colors (Rainbow Dash only to be honest). Then I looked at Freezin, he was surrounded in an ice blue color, but it was growing weaker, and the energy from the flames were seeping in. Then I felt my horn glow, and a surge of energy in me sky rocketed to my horn, and blasted an energy bolt at Freezin. thought I would kill him, or at least injure him, but instead, the energy bolt went into Freezin's horn and the ice blue color around him expanded, repaired, and flourished again, it over came the flame's powerful energy, and dispersed it into nothing. I then started feeling weak, almost ready to pass out, I can easily see this in Freezin too, but something else happened, I could almost feel that he's tired, and can almost hear his voice when he's not speaking. This is odd. I'm gonna ask Princess Celestia later if we do find her. I run up to Freezin and instantly I felt a lot better, in a way I cannot explain really, and I can hear Freezin's voice clearly, but he's not speaking. 'Twilight, can you hear me? Don't talk by the way, think it.' Telepathy? Am I going insane? 'Good you figured it out. No you're not going insane, we have a link now, a telepathic link to be exact. And apparently accelerated healing if we're next to each other.' Okay now this is confusing, but I guess it's okay. 'Let's go already! Geez, and I thought I was confused.' So we then walked over to Dusk Heart, who was now napping in a tree, which just happened to avoid the storm completely. 'Wow, what are the odds...' Freezin sends a magical bolt at the branch, causing it to fall and wake up Dusk Heart. "Owww. At least wake me up before you cut down a tree." I giggled and replied "We didn't cut down the tree and we did wake you up, now let's go." 1 Hour of searching and a challenge (Rainbow's) later.... Dusk Heart's POV After tackling a pegasus, crossing a bridge, and a short walk down a path, we FINALLY made it to the castle. All of us walk in to find a pedestal with 5 orbs in 5 arms. "The Elements!" Twilight screamed with joy. Fluttershy, Rainbow, and I brought down the elements. "Hey, there’s only 5!" Pinkie exclaimed. "Then where's the sixth?!" Twilight shouted with panic. All of us turned are heads to find Nightmare Moon. "Why thank you for leading me here," she told us, "It was troublesome to stall you all here so you could be oblivious to me, but it was all worth it in the end. I can destroy the elements and Equestria's last hope for day!" This ticked me off, Nightmare levitated all the elements to her, and I charged in, with Freezin and Twilight, towards the elements. Then I find myself in a new location, teleporting? Well, regardless, Freezin summons his ice armor and a stretch my wings, and prepare to charge in head on, and apparently Twilight is charging in too, yay I'm not alone! Twilight and I charge head on and Freezin throws ice at Nightmare, the ice somehow melted and Nightmare punched me aside. Twilight though, teleported to the elements. Nightmare, realizing the events, quickly teleported to the elements. Twilight made a spark that made the elements swirl around Nightmare, and pushed her towards Freezin. "No, Noo!!" Nightmare stared to panic. I walked over to the others. When I get there, our hope shattered, quite literally at that. The elements stopped spinning around Nightmare, and with a laugh, Nightmare shattered the elements into fragments. I think I saw some fragments, maybe 2, shatter completely, that can't be good. I hear the rest of the girls coming from the stairway behind us. "You think you got rid of the elements Nightmare Moon?" Twilight said with a smirk, causing a slight panic to occur, "Well you didn't! Because the spirits of the elements are right here!" She pointed at the rest of the ponies that just entered, telling them what proved this and that elements, which activated the fragments to swirl around the specific pony. "You still don't have the sixth element though!" "Yes we do! For we had the sixth element all along, the sixth element is!" then a orb like the rest of them floated above Twilight, "Magic!" That caused the elements to form/reform in to a necklace, for Twilight a tiara. The girls started to float/glow, and Freezin and I just stood there in amazement. Then I felt something, like something was about to happen. I'm guessing Freezin had the same reaction because we ran up, jumped, and managed to push Rainbow and Twilight out of the way. This caused the rest of the girls to fall as well. Rainbow and Twilight questioned what happened, Freezin and I instantly knew then, and we answered at the same time, "Loyalty and Magic are cracked, and if you continued, you could have completely shattered the elements and hurt everyone here!" Their reaction was devastating Rainbow got worried and Twilight kept asking if there was anything we could do. "Well I know what I'm doing," I respond, "Not giving up!" Freezin nodded in agreement and we charged strait at Nightmare. I managed to kick Nightmare in the face, causing her to wince, Freezin froze her legs in place and shot ice beams at Nightmare. We had no effect. Nightmare shattered the ice and easily sent Freezin back, armor shattered, with a blast of ligtning. She grabbed me with her magic. "What was that about not giving up?" she asked. She started to have a dark affect spread onto me. I instantly screamed in agony, causing a panicked Rainbow Dash to bolt right next to me. "Stay back!!!" I scream, wanting to keep her and everyone safe. I feel something start to happen, my mane growing colder, my coat growing darker, my eyes glowing a deep purple that scared Fluttershy. Darkness swirled around me and Rainbow, reluctantly, pulled back. My teeth sharpened and grew four fangs. I started to lose my conscious, but I was still awake. I don't understand... Freezin's POV "DUSK!!!" both Rainbow and I scream with concern. "Dusk? Who is this Dusk? Oh you mean the body I'm using! Of course..." Dusk(?) said with an evil grin, "I am Death Haven! The frozen fire that penetrates even the most pure of hearts!" He instantly flew up to Rainbow and I and punched us into the wall. "Just to make him suffer! You two are the only deep connections he has, Freezin for being his brother, and Rainbow for taking him in at a time of need. Fear my wrath!!" He shot a purple fire at me and an indigo lightning at Rainbow. We both screamed in agony! In my mind, I'm screaming for help, and Twilight runs up and shoots the burning fire with a pure light that instantly disintegrates it. She didn't have time for Rainbow though, her mane grew cold and imitated the black color spectrum, her coat changed colors to a deep shade of ebony. Her usual magenta eyes now shined red. "I'd like to introduce you to Flash Blood, or as you may have known her, Rainbow Dash." I saw the new Rainbow Dash, and felt like she was gonna throw me into next week. She kicks my limp body across the room and I black out, the last thing I see is a single tear, shed by Twilight. "Freezin," a voice said, "Freezin!" "Ughh..." I groan, opening my eyes to a room of white. "Oh dear Celestia, am I dead?" "No," the voice said, when I turn I find Dusk, standing in all his glory, and normal too. "Welcome to our prison. Rainbow and I are here because of our corruption. You're here because you're the only one who can stop this. Well, with Twilight's help anyway. Now before you ask anything, you're slipping back into consciousness now. You've been out for about 5 minutes. Now listen, Twilight has the enchantment of light, like Celestia. She was born with it by the way. Don't ask how I know this, apparently my dark side knows it. Anyways, if you somehow use your ice to magnify a light blast, you can lib-" "Disintegrate the dark side! That'll work Seeya! I'm waking up now!" And then I'm back in the castle. I wake up, without a pain to my relief, and stand up. Death Haven and Flash Blood didn't notice me, I have to find- 'Freezin! You're okay!' Course I am, now help! Blast a beam of light at my ice! you got one shot! 'Okay!' I make an ice wall that is behind Haven and Flash Blood. "NOW!" I scream causing the duo to look at me. I froze their legs in place and Twilight fired at the ice, causing the light to expand to the walls height and intensify. This caused a dark shadow to be pushed off of the two pegasi as they dropped down from exhaustion. "Okay, let's try this again!" I say as the elements started to glow. The unexpected happened, the element of magic shot a beam strait at my right hoof, forming a bracelet that had my cutie mark (a snow flake) on it on a crystal that looked like diamond to represent my ice colored magic. The element of loyalty also shot into Dusk Heart forming a fire shaped crest on a headband out of what appears to be amethyst, a purple gem stone. I wondered one thing, and Twilight I knew thought it too, why a flame. Then I saw why, he finally had his cutiemark, a purple flame. We all hovered into the air glowing, ready to stop Nightmare Moon. Twilight opened her eyes, which were now pure white, and we fired a rainbow (uhhm, what?) at Nightmare, which enveloped her and dispelled the darkness, which left another alicorn lying there in her place. "W-We did it, we actually did it" Dusk Heart said, looking awestruck. I walk up to the alicorn with a cresent moon cutiemark, and a background around it representing the endless canvas that is night. I kneel down and work my magic, literally, I start using a heal spell which enveloped the alicorn with my magic. Nobody noticed what I was doing, except for Twilight. She walked up to me. "What are you doing Freezin?" "Healing spell, this alicorn is hurt and has been imprisoned for a long time, her Nightmare imprisoned her before Nightmare Moon ever took place. She is Celestia's sister, Princess Luna" I answer. Twilight was at a loss for words, she couldn't think of anything too say. Then, the weirdest thing, or rather greatest thing, happened, Celestia herself flew through the window and landed next to the other ponies. Everyone except Dusk Heart and myself bowed down. "Uhh why are we bowing down? Is she like our queen or something?" Celestia chuckled at this while everyone else gasped at his defiance. "It's been a few days since I last saw you, isn't it Dusk Heart?" Dusk Heart then looked completely confused. "Uhhm, do I know you or something? Are we related?" Celestia smiled at this comment, "I guess you could say I'm your mother, but I'm not exactly your real mother, it's for... another reason." This made Dusk Heart think for a while. Then I realized that Luna is waking up, I release my magic and walked towards the group. "Fillies and Gentlecolts, I'm glad to introduce to you, Princess Luna, sister of Celestia!" Everyone in the room (except Celestia and the still thinking Dusk Heart) gasped as Luna ran up to Celestia. "'Tia! I was so scared! The nightmares kept me from talking with you and imprisoned me in the process! I was worried about what happened!" Celestia calmed her weeping sister, "It's okay Luna, everything is better now." Then everyone looked at me, except the royal sisters. "How do you know all of this? are you and Celestia, like together or something?" Dusk Heart asked making Celestia and I blush, everyone else smirked or giggled at the comment. "What?! NO!" I said, still in panic. Celestia coughed, still half blushing, I suppose this is alot worse than what could have happened. "Well, I suppose I can give you all knowledge of things that happened" Celestia said as her horn glowed and shot a string of memories at each of us. Knowledge of the sub elements, Twilight's link with me, even what happened with Rainbow and Dusk Heart (instant blackmail, Yes!), flowed into our minds, just one thing had to be given before this was all over. "It is time now, he is a lot stronger than what he was. Give him his memories..." I silently say, everyone unable to hear me except Twilight, Rainbow, Celestia, Luna, and Dusk. "I suppose he is. Everypony stand away from Dusk Heart." Everypony, including the Royal Sisters, stood away from Dusk Heart, everypony except Rainbow and myself. "I-I need to see these memories. I want to know what killed him..." I state, causing a collective gasp from everypony. "H-He died? Then why is he here?" Twilight asked. Celestia sighed, "I'm guessing you all want to see now. This will all be in a 3rd person's point of view, except for Dusk Heart, who will sadly have to relive all of this. In real time this will only take a few seconds, in our time it's gonna take a few hours, everypony stand next to Dusk Heart." Everyone stood closer to Dusk Heart. "Oh, I almost forgot! If I do this spell differently, I could switch you from reliving this to an outsider of this, but you will need a companion with you. Everypony can still watch mind you, so choose wisely." Dusk Heart thought about this, I know who he's gonna choose. "Rainbow, would you like to accompany me through my memories?" She gave a small nod of agreement before standing next to him, wait, are they holding hooves?! Well, I better prepare for the worst, this CAN'T be good.
Chapter 4: Change of Tune (INTRO)I DON'T OWN ANYTHING, CEPT FREEZIN AND DUSKHEART. COLOR SPHERE IS OWNED BY Epsilonic Memory! 1 Day After Viewing Dusk Heart's Past (If you want to know about it, pm me. It's long) I'm just demented to them, someone that's an outcast, someone who's demented, someone who's hated... Queen Chrysalis herself won't even look at me, just because of that stupid royal guard. That star he has, his mark, it will haunt me forever. He did this to me... Even as an egg, the force field had this effect on me. I should run, oppose as someone else. Nobody would know, I am just a changeling out of the several there are. I start to fly away, not like anyone cares, not even Chrysalis. I should start a new life, a new life, new friends, everything. I fly out of the cave and see three options to go, a castle, a cloud city, and a small suburban town. Well the castle is where 'it' happened and that cloud city is highly populated, I don't want to scare like, 5000 people and be killed or something ridiculous. So I fly to the town. Dusk Heart's POV I'm flying over Ponyville, putting the last of the rain clouds in the sky, we have orders to put up rain clouds, and apparently it's been pretty sunny over the few days. I just put the last cloud in place, good, that was time consuming. I decide to fly down to Ponyville, the rest of the weather team should be here soon to bring down the precipitation. I decide to fly to the library to find Freezin and Twilight, Freezin haas been spending a lot of time with her, and I mean ALOT. I think he likes her, I'll ask later. I open the door to find Spike organizing books. "Hey Spike!" "Hi Dusk! If you’re looking for Freezin or Twilight, they're upstairs researching Twilight's light enchantment thing. Apparently Freezin likes spending time here." "Kay, Thanks little buddy!" I walked upstairs into, you guessed it, another section of books, except this level had a doorway to a balcony and a smaller level for Twilight's bed. I looked around on the base of the room, no Twilight or Freezin. Then I see a book fly across the room from where Twilight's bed area was. I walk up the stairs and narrowly dodge another book. There I find Freezin speed reading every single page of a book of various enchantments, and Twilight asleep on the bed. Geez it's like, 11:00AM, I'd expect her to be awake. "As much as I like playing a replica of Dodgeball, I think I have to ask you to please stop throwing books at my head Freezin." Then a book landed on my head, of course. "Sorry, I'm not thinking strait, haven't slept for 2 days." "TWO DAYS?!!?!?" "shh! Twlight's sleeping!" I facehoof. He is so freakin dense sometimes, I think he's taking after Twilight. "Okay, I know your researching this stuff and all, but do you think that this enchantment is in a book here in Ponyville? The enchantment is pretty rare I think, so it has to be in a more advanced library." His turn to facehoof. "Of course... Well I'll go see if it's at Canterlot library tommor-" "Shut up and sleep already." He then attempts to walk home, wait, this is his home, so I guess he attempted to walk to his room or bed or something, and falls, already asleep. I smirk, perfect time to embarrass him. I grab a sticky note, and write 'Dear Twilight and or Freezin, You woke up, CONGRADULATIONS!!! If you're wondering why Freezin/Twilight is sleeping next to you, I did it, duh. I couldn't pass the chance to embarrass you! Anyways, if you need me I'll be flying around or something. Happy Lives! -D.H. P.S. Their gonna be so ticked at me! Well, time to do something, don't feel like sleeping, yet. I don't feel like reading (ever). Or eating which is somehow new to me. I'm pretty sure Rainbow's part of the next team. Well, might as well walk around or go see any of the others. And possibly prank them. I smirk at the thought and look outside. Then I see something new, a ash grey coat like mine, and a mane style just like mine! AND WHAT IS THIS?! A CUTIEMARK JUST LIKE MINE?! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! Okay, calm down. I found something to do! Let the chase begin! I follow my doppelganger to the Everfree Forest. He looks like me, acts like me, even has a smell (smells like Rainbow Dash, pretty nice smell if I do say so myself, wait what am I thinking?!) just like mine. "I'm glad no one thought it was my true self, not this disguise..." it said before transforming into something that looks like a bug. I think it's called a changeling. They feed off of love or something like that and are masters of disguise. This one looked different though, it had two different colored ees to start with. Well, can't be too hard to cope with. "Hey!" I yell at the changeling, who instantly turned towards me. "Ahh!" it screamed, "Please! If you’re gonna hurt me, please just don't-" "WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE ME, WHY ARE YOU HERE, WHY AM I ASKING QUESTIONS?!?!?!?!" "This is gonna be so friggin confusing. "Ponies don't like changelings, you’re the first thing I saw that was a pony of some kind and I took your form, I prefer talking in disguise rather than as a changeling. My disguises aren't perfect though, my eye color still is different colors like before." he starts to blush, PLEASE DON'T BE FEMALE. "I was abused back in the, err... hive so I ran. Why ARE you asking me questions-" That answers a lot of questions, he deserves to know my name, "The name's Dusk Heart." Anyways, in comparison, we're both unique, had difficult pasts, etc. Cept I died already so I'm also a freak of nature. Oh yeah, I'm gonna have to show you what makes us special aren't I?" They all nod. Guess I'll go first. I morph back into a changeling and show them my eyes, my different vision, different colored eyes. They sort of change affect after a while until I find their true purpose. "No you cannot look deep into them because I don't know if the hypnotic affect will kick in, it does randomly till I find the eyes' true purpose." This made the purple pony gasp, "How did you-" "Another affect with the same answer." It was Dusk's turn. "Quick Test them I'm gonna attempt something that may or may not work so for it's the trick 23, me 0" he said. He out stretched his wings really fast and they pushed out a purple fire. This made everypony gaped. That was amazing. "Test complete now the real thing. He folded back his wings and outstretched them faster than before and them- wait WHAT!?!?! His wings were on fire!! Purple fire burned on his wings like a phoenix. He flew up at high speeds leaving a trail of blisters in the air. He went up high and started doing barrel rolls, then he- oh dear Celestia he made a fire tornado! I'm thinking he's not finished. He stopped rolling but the tornado didn't stop. He started going even faster! An explosion was made but he didn't break the barrier. HE did a trick called the Buccaneer Blaze, I heard it from someone when in disguise and I asked about it, this is it. This dispersed most of the fire tornado into a ring of fire. Where the tornado was, was now three spiraling trails of fire like a wind mill. A mach cone started to form around him. Wait, is that a rainbow? A rainbow streak was coming next to Dusk. What's going on? Dusk Heart's POV Well, my wings are burning, there's a ring of fire that I'll pass through if I break the sound barrier, and the three trails of fire to look awesome, and I look AWESOME. Man, if this works, well I don't know! If it doesn't I'll go with the flow and do something that's still awesome. Like when that time I messed up I ended up keeping mach 5 and surrounded myself in a ball of fire when I hit the ground and spreading my wings sent it up in my name, MY NAME!!! Anyways I'm at mach 4, and look who's coming, Rainbow. She's also at mach 4, I can just tell. "Hey! What are you doing!?" I scream over the sound barrier. "Check behind you!" she screamed. I looked behind me, THE HECK IS THAT?!! She went at blazing speeds, apparently bending the will of the wind (Gale Enchantment? I gotta ask, must've been either a side effect from the elements or we were all born with one) and apparently slicing through the fire ring and made it rainbow and she also had three trails of rainbow fire. I smirk as we approached Mach 5, THIS IS IT! Then I looked at the mach cone, it doesn't look right. Wait I've seen this happen before on try number 1, 2, 3, 6, and 11. "STAY AT MACH 5!!!!!" I scream to Rainbow, hope she's listening. Her speed looks the same as mine, so I think she listened. "Do what I do!" I screamed, she appeared to have nodded. I look to find my wings still burning, just what I needed, I hope Rainbow has something similar. I stay at the same speed, at sharp right grabbling her hooves and pulling her closer to be (AN: Don't get the wrong idea and read on...) she was surprised at my actions and blushed. I made a right, a sharp lift, another (sharper) right, another sharp left another life, and heading back to the front of my smoke trail creating a lightning bolt. Our fire trails wind milling around us, I make a 100% downward dive back towards the others who were starting to run for cover. At the last second I spread my wings (Rainbow followed) I spread my wings slowing down at drastic measures and landing on the ground the trails creating a tornado of fire around us. Rainbow started panicking. "It's okay Rainbow," this reassured her, I don't blame her for panicking, it's fire that happens to surround/trap you, who wouldn't be caught off guard unless it happens on a daily basis (it does for me). I quickly spread my wings and Rainbow did the same, dispersing the tornado in to our initials, DH and RD. Awesome. The others watched at our display in awe. I flinched, something's touching my wing. I turn and apparently Rainbow did the same out of the same confusion I was in. Wait are our wings touching? I started to blush so I turned my head of embarrassment and tucked in my wings. Rainbow (I'm guessing) did the same. Dear Celestia this is embarrassing... After this heck of a thing I go introduce Rainbow to Color Sphere. I'm trying to ignore the voice in my head saying that the names are similar. Color looked at Rainbow in awe. "So... This is a changeling? He looks... so..." Color started to look down, "AWESOME!" This made Color smile. Then something occurred to me, we can't have doubles or changelings roaming 'round town. "Hey Color, come here for a sec." He came over to me and I whisper a description into his ear. He nodded and transformed. He turned into a pegasus around age 17, he had an ash grey coat like mine and the end of his muzzle and hooves are a dark green. The top of his head was dark green like a head band like style. His mane went up and then fell strait down which looked kinda cool. His tail was short, it was dark green and had a lighter emerald green strip through it. He still had his multicolored eyes, and he didn't have a cutiemark. He looks a little similar to me. Guess he'll be another one of my brothers. I wonder if I even have brothers or sisters. (AN: Foreshadowing) Then a mare, with an aqua coat and a harp for a cutie mark, came up to us. Reacting without any sense, I dashed to the back of the group. I had to meet someone from Canterlot didn't I, one of the places I fear most (Not Counting Twilight or Freezin). In a nutshell I'm pretty much shaking out of my hooves out of fear behind a tree. (If your wondering why, if I DID have the privilege of going outside, I was abused by other snobs from Canterlot, including adults and young adults and the occasional bully) "Hi Twilight!" the mare said. She knew Twilight? "Lyra?! What are you doing here?! You live in Canterlot!" That answers questions."Well, I decided to move here!" she then looked at the others, cept me who is still in a tree. Which reminds me I need a home soon, I live in a tree. (Not a treehouse) "Well it looks like you have some friends now, and actually hang out with them instead of studying all day." Wow, that sounds familiar... Curse you memories for being gone! Now I only have key memories thanks to Celestia, like my death. I decide to miss the conversation and head to me tree, where I have a pillow, a blanket, and some of my stuff. (Journal, Scrapbook of Random Stuff, that's it) I pull out my scrapbook and go through random pictures of the landscape, other pictures, and- There We Are, Ponies. With the little freedom I have I had little to no friends, so if I manage to get one, I take a picture of them. It rarely happens, mainly people around my age be nice to me, so I just stole my parents' camera and take the photos, then ask. Let's see now... I only have the 4 pictures, one of which was from here. I looked around the 2 pages. Wait, 2 of them were taken out! What the heck?! I only have the one left... Now let's see.
Chapter 5: The TicketsStill don’ts own anything cept my ocs (new oc in next chapter or two) (AN: I can't think of too much to do right now, a block if you will. So not much in this chapter, stuff in next chapter cuz there's a new character. Want more text? Then skip the chapter but part of the next won’t make sense then.) Color Sphere's POV I sighed, seeing nothing exciting or new happening anytime soon. My new brothers (Freezin and Dusk) are, like me, waiting for something to happen. I think Dusk is asleep too. "Time, Date, and Year?" I ask. "It's 10:34AM, Date is- OH YEAH!!" This got my attention and it woke Dusk up. "Wh-what I miss?" he asked, "Something exciting and what not happening?" Freezin nodded and we looked at him, waiting to say what was happening. Then a note appeared out of light blue smoke, well it's rather frost but still. He unrolled the scroll and read it aloud, but it was slow "Dear Freezin, Dusk Heart, and Color Sphere, you have been invited to the Grand Galloping Gala being held on, blah blah blah... I have enclosed 4 tickets for you three and a guest, DON'T give it to any of the girls, your guest will come to Ponyville soon. -Luna." "Why so slow?" I asked. "It's written in ancient Equestrian. Here look" he showed me the letter. Now, I know ancient equestrian right off the bat, always have, guess it was the barrier thing. Well, I'll know one day. "That's easy to read, I've known this sense I was like, 1 year old." "Okay okay," Dusk interrupted, "Well, I know you're part of the Royal Staff, that's how you got your ticket, but what about Twilight? She's Celestia's Apprentice!" I turned into my pony form/disguise, "ONWARDS! WE SHALL VENTURE TO THY LIBRARY!" I screamed. We got to the library after a run/fly didn't find anyone there, lucky us. I looked around to see if she was REALLY there, you can never be too sure, and instead, found a note. I read the note: 'Dear Freezin,' ha-ha, lucky me, I found a note for Freezin, must've blown off the door or out a window or something, 'If you are reading this, it means I’m not back yet, I'm currently helping Applejack with some work and, if you want, can come help. Or you can just stay indoors at the library reading, whatever you want. -Twilight' then there was a heart drawn in by (I think) Spike, I mean, who else would? I doubt that Twilight would EVER do this, even if I don't really know her. I walk around to the others; hold up the note and say, "They're not here." Freezin looked down in disappointment, I turned to see what Dusk's reaction is, but he turned to see this storm cloud over head. "Uhh, Dusk...?" I asked. "This way! There isn't supposed to be a storm today!" He bolted in that direction and Freezin and I barely kept up. Dusk Heart's POV Storm's over there, not supposed to! I gotta get over there! Dear Celestia Rainbow, what are you up to... "This is too slow..." I say to myself, I started to spread my wings then for some reason, to ponies rammed into me, and I have a good feeling it isn't Color and Freezin. "Get. Off. Of. ME!!!!" I yelled, rolling over to get the two ponies off of me. I look to who did this to me, and speak f the devil, Rainbow is one of them. The other pony was Applejack. "Now, tell me a good reason why I shouldn't burn down a building right now..." I say and deathly tone, "And also tell me, why we have a storm over there, that's lasting for 5 minutes!!" Gosh I sound mad when I'm mad. "Well uhh, well..." Rainbow spluttered on. "Wait, let me guess," I said in a less angry tone, "Twilight just happens to be invited to this Grand, Galloping whatever, and you and the rest of you are trying to win her over?" "How did you know that?" Applejack asked. I pulled out my ticket that I put in my mane, still as shiny and gold as ever. They stared at the ticket open mouthed, how is this thing a big deal!?! I started to explain, "Well, Freezin got three (keeping out the fourth, don't want to be bothered) tickets cuz we're his brothers, or rather cuz I was invited anyway and Freezin got an extra ticket for Color, and we wanted to ask Twi' if she had one too, so we went looking, and I saw the storm, and then we're here after you two tackled me to the dirt." "Eheh..." Rainbow said somewhat guiltily. "We're sorry pardner, it's just that it's everypony's dream to go to the Gala, so many dreams can start there in that city" Applejack said. I reply viciously, "Yeah well it was the start of my new friendship, and the worst part of my nightmare. I will continue reliving that moment because it's the only one I have left besides the Nightmare events." This made both of them look guilty now. "I'm going to go save Twi' now, you know, so she isn't mauled to death by the town." Then I flew off, leaving cinders in the air. The storm only started a few seconds (2 minutes) ago, so if I take a guess, seeing how she was at a cafe (newest cloud is visible there) so if anyone got to her yet, it should be Rarity. I flew down to the boutique, and before I could get down, Twi' came running out, and was stopped by Applejack, perfect... Well, I gotta know what happened, so might as well ask somepony, somepony who unexplainably knows generally everything, someone like- "Hiyah Dusk!" Still airborne, and out of shock, my wings froze for a split second, natural thing to happen to a pegasus when scared or surprised, can happen for longer periods of time but still, I fell. At least the ground is A, soft and B, 5 feet below me. And, "IMPACT!!!" I yelled. Ow... Oh god, I think the ticket flew out of my mane. I opened my eyes, and speak of the devil, the ticket's on the ground. Ugh, I think I hit my head... I had just enough time to move onto the ticket so noone can get it, and heard words that sounded like Pinkie and Fluttershy and blacked out. Freezin's POV: Man, where the heck is Dusk? We split up for 2 minutes and bam, he's gone for half an hour. I sigh, "Might as well try to find someone else like Fluttershy." Color nodded in agreement. "Meh," he replied, "I say we go fly over head and look, I mean you can use a spell for that right?" I nodded but added, "But I'm not exactly 'allowed' to, only in emergencies like Nightmare Moon." He nodded in response and we walked on, except Color tripped over something. Not likes it's a body right? Wait, HOLY CRUD, THAT'S DUSK'S BODY!! "Dusk! Start talking Dusk! Say something! Anything!" Dusk started to move, showing he was still alive, that's good. I use a simple healing spell on him and he starts to stand up, his hoof to his head. "Ugh... Stupid surprises out of nowhere, I hate you sometimes... Now, what happened?" As he recollected his memories, Color gave me a confused expression; I just gave a simple shrug back. "Oh yeah," he said as he put his ticket back in his mane, he then sighed, "Well we better start running, mares'll be on us in about, 3. 2. 1." And as he said 1, a few mares screamed and that caught Color and my attention, we were suddenly looking at a group of ponies that were smiling, creepy. "That's it, time to blaze it out of here" Dusk said, grabbing two hooves, one of Color's, one of mine, and he took off at blinding speeds. He made the sharpest turns I've ever seen, dodging everyone, and when they blocked a street, he turned into the next or an alley. And in the process, Color and I were full of shock, surprise, and were barely holding on to Dusk's hooves. After about 10 minutes of flying away, we found temporary shelter in an alley, well, somewhat, we were hiding in a very large box with holes in it, hoping for the best. "Ok Dusk, what in the name of Celestia is going on?" I asked, "And why are we avoiding every mare in Ponyville?" "Not like we're being chased by changelings, an angry mob, and 10 manticores right?" Color added. "Well," Dusk started, "I hit my head, they saw my ticket, gossip flied, I put my body over the ticket. Knowing you were my brother and were part of the Royal Staff, they suspected you had an extra ticket like Twi' does, and I'm just guessing." We waited and talked for a few minutes then we heard something/someone. We all quieted down and looked out of the holes of the box, Twilight was there. "Psst, hey Twi'!" I whispered somewhat. She started to panic, and I rolled my eyes, well I guess I can't blame her, she must've been chased. I freeze my cutiemark into the side of the box, then the ice spread and shattered, letting me get out. "PLEASE TELL ME YOU DON'T WANT A TICKET!!!" she begged, so I showed her two tickets, my own, and the spare. "Oh good, I've been being chased for a while. Now, I'm gonna guess you've been chased too." Then the box burned. I saw an angry expression on Dusk's face and- is that a blush on Color? I'm not gonna think about it. "Ugh... I just remembered," Dusk said, "you and Twi' have a telekinetic link." I facehoofed, stupid memory. I visualize a lock and a key. I unlocked the lock and then my mind became clearer, like Twi's magic was linked to mine, for all I know it might. 'Twi, can you hear me?' I said in my mind. 'Yeah, I can hear you. I can't believe we forgot about this.' Then we heard screams, oh no. I started to panic, and Color is trying to pull back Dusk from the mob that's pulling his back hooves- OH NO! I start to help Color, and eventually we saved Dusk. Dusk's eyes started to flash an unhealthy shade of black in one eye and red in the other. He unfolded his wings and fire started to burn around him, he screeched some kind of cry, it sounded similar to a bird I once heard, but I can't remember which bird. Most covered their ears or walked away at the sight of the flames, but some still stepped forward, wanting the two final tickets. "Freezin, if you and or Twi' is gonna do something, do it now!" Oh no, limited time, now what?! Suddenly, Twilight's horn and my horn glowed, and a flash of light appeared, the next thing I know we were in the library. I find a singed Spike, a half frozen Dusk, a slightly frozen and slightly burned Color, and Twi'. "Warn us next time..." they all said simultaneously. Dusk burned the ice and I healed the burns. "Quick! Barricade all entrances!" I froze the windows and doors shut. should stay that way for a while. Dusk's POV, 27 minutes later... It's been a good while, I'm gonna check outside. I put my ear to the wall, it was silent. "I think we're okay for now" I said. They all nodded in agreement. So I burned down the ice door, and we walked out, pretty sure we're okay. We were HORRIBLY wrong, not even five minutes later, we ran back inside, turned the lights out and froze the door again. We all stood in the room, the pitch black room. We decided to remain silent, make it seem like we're leaving a secret exit or something like that. Then the lights flashed on and Rainbow, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie were standing next to us. I instantly jumped back and spread my wings, sending cinders into the air, but instead of cinders, a ring of fire spread around my hooves, and a screeched like a bird. That's real new... Fluttershy and Rarity stepped back, Rainbow and Applejack took a small step forward, and Pinkie stood still, trying to see if she knew the bird sound. "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!!?" I screamed into the heavens, causing a lot of people in the room to flinch. "May I ask what your goal in all of this is?" Freezin asked. "Well," Rainbow started, "We want the extra ticket." Color was talking this time, "You mean these tickets?" He held up the two extra tickets. "You guys had an extra ticket?!" Everyone asked with the exception of everyone who had a ticket and Spike. "For someone we meet..." Dusk said, as if he wants to meet this person, like they're long lost mates or something. "Can you just stop doing favors for me?!" Twilight said, "It's annoying and it won't get you the ticket!" Everyone looked down. "Sugarcube," Applejack said, "I'm mighty sorry for botherin ya, I don't want the ticket if your upset." "I don't either," Fluttershy added, "I just feel horrible we put you through all that trouble." "I as well apologize darling" Rarity said. "Me too!" Pinkie said. "That means I get the Ticket!" everyone gave her a glare and I flew up and tackled her onto the floor, "SERIOUSLY?! AFTER ALL THAT!?" She smirked, "I'm kidding, I just knew it would tick you off." I started to blush and looked down, Rainbow and Freezin suppressed a laugh. "Regardless," Twilight said, "I'm gonna solve this, Spike take a note." Spike pulled paper and a quill out of nowhere, but before Twi' could say anything. Freezin interrupted, "Just cut it short, I'm going to return these tickets because if one friend isn't going, no one is going." Twilight nodded and Spike wrote the note, enclosed two tickets, and sent it off, another note came back immediately. "My dear pupil Twilight, why didn't you just say so?" he pulled out 6 tickets, "6 tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala!!!" Everyone cheered and got their tickets, another note appeared, I looked at it and read it aloud, "And one for you Spike." I chuckled, that was funny. "Well, I'm gonna set off" I said to everyone. I spread my wings and they hit something else, I flinched. Oh if they're Rainbow's wings again... AND, they are... we blushed deeply and set off without anther word, everyone else giggling or laughing, I sigh, this time between now and the gala is gonna be interesting.
Chapter 6: An Old Friend (INTRO)A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARED!! I own this new challenger, dusk, and freezin. Color Sphere is owned by Epsilonic Memory but I made his Pony Disguise, he actually complimented me on it. 3rd Person's POV A mare in a grey cloak appeared on a cliff, she had silver bracelets on her hooves, each holding a crystal that is currently a purple color, a significant color that shows that she's happy, or something around that. "I got my information," she said, "And it might be right, I gotta check, he might be here. After so many years, I might be able to see him again, my friend..." She jumped down the cliff at blinding speeds, and landed next to a river, almost as fast as a pegasus. She traveled down the river till she came to a small town's outskirts. She took one step into town, and was confronted by a pony, "Who's there?!" he asked. The mare turned, her purple eyes gleaming into the night. "You suspicious folk there!" he asked, "why are you here!!!??!" "Please sir," she took a step forward, and the earth pony stepped back, "I'm just trying to find someone." "Sure ya are!" the pony said taking a step forward, ready to buck the girl, "And I'm an alicorn!" He ran up to the girl who instinctively dug her hooves into the ground as her bracelets started glowing, glowing a very bright light. The earth pony stopped and ran. "Run! Suspicious pony!" he screamed. Everypony shut their windows and doors and the streets were quiet. The girl sighed, "Well, not what I was expecting, but I still have to find him." And she set off for the streets, little did she know there was a tangerine pony looking at every detail that happened, her eyes wide with shock and somewhat fear. She ran back to her farm to wait for the next day, to tell her friends, and little did she know, the pegasus the new pony was looking for. Dusk's POV I started to wake up from my sleep, so I rubbed my eyes. I looked around, still in my tree. I yawned, what time is it... Judging by the sun, I slept to 11, again. I'm guessing Dash is starting to wake up to, wow we sleep late. I checked to see if Color was here, he wasn't. Well, might as well see if Dash is home, lucky for me, I live pretty close to her, The Outskirts. I flew over to her cloud house, still amazing, and called up to her. "Dash! Hey Dash! You there?!" She yawned, she's there. "Yeah yeah yeah, I'm up." She walked out, still looking like herself surprisingly, and yawned again. "You know where everypony is?" I asked, "Color's not home." She shook her head, "Let's go and check Ponyville out, race ya there!" The she bolted to town. "H-hey!" I said as I sped off. I caught up to her in time thankfully, but it was a tie, kinda short race too. We both dug our hooves into the ground to stop and folded back our wings, narrowly missing each other, thank Celestia. We looked around town, noone here. "Uhh..." I say confused. Someone tapped on my shoulder; I turned to find a mare in a grey cloak. "Uhhm, excuse me sir," she started, "I was wondering if you know where I can find someone." Rainbow still looked confused. "That depends ma'am, who are you looking for?" I asked. "Well.." she started but I didn't hear the rest because a purple aura surrounded Rainbow and a blue one surrounded me. "Wait, WHAT THE-" I yelled as someone pulled me back. I screeched into the air and cinders were sent into the air, causing the mare to look at me. I guess she thinks I'm weird or something. Can't exactly blame her. I just heard a slight whisper from her before I was completely thrown into a building, "Can't be him, his cutiemark was red and he had a mark on his forehead..." When I did stop flying, momentum and gravity started to hate me, it flung me into the wall and I just happened to land upside-down, I'm sure Rainbow had a better time than- OH DEAR CELESTIA! "Oh, that HAS to hurt" I heard Color say. Rainbow landed, THANK CELESTIA NOT ON ME, but right next to me, not even a centimeter next to me. We were literally touching hooves, had implants in the wall, and it hurt, alot, more so for Rainbow who hit the wall. My vision is till blurry, I'm still dazed, I fell onto the floor, which made me more dazed, if I have vision problems I could ask Freezin for help, I know he has a spell for it, I stole a book from him and found it. I didn’t get up, to weak, and then Rainbow fell on me, which didn't help us. Rainbow," I said, "Get off me." She rolled off me, and I stood wobbly. I opened my wings to steady myself and, aww come on, my wings touched Rainbow's wings (AN: I find that to be a sign of affection as a pegasus so it would be embarassing for two 'best friend' pegasi rather than couple pegasi) We blushed again, stupid incidents and what not... Some people smirked, and I think I heard Twi and Rarity giggle cuz they know what kind of sign two pegasi touching the other's wings with their wings is. I finally regain my senses and ask the important question, "WHAT'S GOING ON?!" "Well, that mare you were talking to scared Applejack, an old earth pony, and a lot of others when she came to town, and can make a special glow that isn't magic, she's an earth pony by the way." I looked at Applejack to confirm these accusations, she nodded. "Well, I don't see the problem, so I'm going out." Then the door froze. "She's dangerous," Freezin said, "I don't want you to risk it." I burn open the door and melt the ice. "Too scared huh, well I'm gonna help her." So I walked out, no one stopping me. And I saw the mare looking down, I wonder why... Mare's POV (name will be revealed later) I looked down, everyone is afraid of me. It's just like my childhood, where everyone ignored me for my abilities, for who I was. I sighed, onto the next town... Then that ash coated pegasus walked up to me. "What do you want...?" I asked. "I just wanted to help you find who you were looking for, also to apologize to my somewhat ignorant friends."I smirked, he is a lot like my brother. Too bad it can't be him, he'd remember me, he'd have his necklace too. "Meh, whatever. Let's go find my friend." He nodded in agreement, and we started walking around town. We started walking to the outskirts and I could see people going into the street again. I let a tear slide down my face, yep, this is just like before... FLASHBACK :D (New Character who was 15 is now 9) I was walking down the streets of Canterlot, various people running at the sight of me. Just had a meeting with Celestia to discuss something called 'Alchemy', the gift that I possess, which is acting more like a curse for me. I got the privilege to go to the castle library. I have to study Alchemy more tomorrow. "There she is!" a teenage colt said, "the freak of nature!" I turned my head to find a group of colts and about 3 mares staring at me. I took a step back. "P-please... Just leave me alone... I stuttered out, close to tears. The leader of the group, a colt about the age of 13, stepped up. "What's wrong? Afraid or something?" I was immobilized with fear, I couldn't do more than a slight shudder. The colt turned around and bucked me. I was thrown backwards. "P-please... S-stop..." I said, starting to cry. "HEY!" someone said in the road, I turned my head and tried to go back, and ended up being bucked forward. A stallion pegasus walked forward from an alley, a strap around his neck that lead to his mane, I guess he had a camera or something. "What are you doing to her?!" The gang leader smirked and answered calmly, "Why, we're just getting rid of this freak of nature, care to watch?" The stallion thought something for a sec. "Let me think," he said, "...no" He then spread his wings and before the group of others could blink, the colt punched the leader and he fell, causing the others to retreat. He sighed, "Causing Trouble wherever they go, for me and for everyone..." He turned to me, "You okay?" I try to stand and I could barely move, so I shake my head painfully. HE started walking to me, he looked a year older than me, and it also seems as if... he has a gift, something that makes him unique, but also hated. "Okay, I got limited time, my scream gave away my location, but I have a way that can save us for now" he said. He set his wings on fire, this has to be an enchantment of fire, I read about them once. There are several, and it's possible to have multiple enchantments of one kind, and there are two very powerful ones too, but I don't know much. Anyways, he set his wings on fire and I smiled in a look of amazement, this is the first time in a while I felt safe. He picked me up and I blushed lightly, he put me on his back, and with the simple words, "Hang on", we were off into the sky. "Thanks..." I managed to say. "No problem," he replied, "You can call me Heart if ya want." "T-thank you..." I said in my half unconscious state. "I need to know your name miss" he said, "I have to know the person I saved." I smiled, first person to ask that, first person nice to me. "Raven Soul, just call me Raven..." I said before blacking out. FLASHBACK, END! (we'll continue it later :D) We walked to the outskirts of town; people who were here are now in hiding or in town center, trying to decide my fate. Well, either way, I'll be okay for now. "So, who does your friend look like?" the colt asked. "He has a necklace I gave him for starts; he also has a flame cutiemark that's red and an ash grey coat. His appearance might've changed since I last saw him though. It's been 5 years." He nods and then asks, "Why here?" I give him a confused expression. "Why did you come to Ponyville of all places to look?" "Well," I started, wanting to keep my meeting with Princess Luna a secret. DIFFERENT FLASHBACK I made a door in the wall using my alchemy, with guards left and right trying to stop me. I was holding a make-shift knife in my teeth. I threw it at a nearby guard that was way to close, it made him go back, but it missed him. I opened the door which led to the throne room of Canterlot Castle, and I'm probably the first to do so in a raid, a single pony raid, and still live. After I entered, I turned the door back into the wall. I screamed into the throne room, "WHERE IS HE?!" This caused guards' heads to turn towards me and they charged with their spears. I clapped my hooves together and pressed it against the wall, causing the wall to extend out and around me, defending me to a point. I created a transmutation circle to make sure they didn't know I was still using my only weapon. I tapped the circle with my hooves and it started to glow, this caused hands in the earth to grow up and grab lots of the soldiers, so I simply walked past punching everyone who got in my way to the Princesses, who at the moment, are just sitting there. "I punched the last guard in my way and walked up to the Princesses, not even taking into consideration that I didn't bow. "Where is he?!" I yelled. No reaction. "ANSWER ME!" I yelled. No reaction. I grabbed the nearest weapon, and transmuted it into a ball of rock, I can't kill royalty, or anyone for that matter. I chucked it at Celestia, and it phased through! "What?!" I said confused. Something then struck me in the back of the head and I blacked out instantly. I'm standing, it’s pitch black, this has to be a dream. I knew that. I walked forward trying to find something, anything. Then the darkness grew into a night sky, and a moon. Stars were starting to spark everywhere. Then a bright light made me shield my eyes, and Princess Luna stood in front of me. "Why are thou here young one. It is not thou who wishes to bring harm to thy sister and I?" she asked. I let a tear slide, the first in a while. "Where is he? I know he was here. And no one, not even Royalty, will stop me! I know what happened! A year ago he died! I asked his mother where he was taken, and it brought me here. NOW WHERE IS HE!?" I yelled at the royal goddess of night. "Thy wishes to seek a pony, one from thou's childhood? Thy does not know much, but I do know someone like thy describes, ash coat, flame cutiemark." I stood there, his description, I know what he looked like and I reminded myself a million times and then some, but it hurts to hear it. I simply nod. "The Pony you seek is in Ponyville, thou's destination is only a day's trip away. But I must warn thee, he has lost memories, and some can't be replaced, only reclaimed, and thy pony must meet you to reclaim these memories." I get a huge smile on my face, he's alive, he's really alive. Luna came up to me then, and tapped her horn on my forehead. A flash of light emanated from me for a brief second. "Yes, I know thou's past now. I has been long and treacherous, and thou wishes to meet 'your knight' per say?" That made me blush lightly, "Uhh well..." Is what I could sputter out. "Yes, I know what thou seeks," Luna said with a smirk, "Maybe when thou is ready, you can become thy's protege." I smiled again, "I-I would like that Princess Luna..." Luna smiled, "Please just call me Luna Raven, just Luna." End of Flashback that was somewhat long. "Uhh, miss? Hello?" the colt said as I snapped back into reality. "Uhh what?" He smirked, "Taking a trip down memory lane?" I nodded in response. "Heh, wish I could do that" he muttered. We continued to walk for a few minutes. "What species is he?" "Pegasus, he's a Pegasus." Then a light bulb went off in his head. "I'll be back in a few minutes." He zoomed off, leaving a trail blaze of purple fire in his wake, and just as quickly as he went off, he came back with a pony on his back. "Okay, to cut it short, he's my new brother, he's a changeling, keep the secret, Color do you know her?" He shook his head. "Sorry Dusk, never met her. But if she's looking for a pegasus, ash coat and all, might be you." He thought about this for a moment, "Can't be, I fit the discription but still!" Then I saw a piece of chain, a piece of midnight blue chain. I pulled out the chain and saw it, the necklace I gave my friend years ago, a midnight blue chained necklace with an amethyst jewel hung at the end. That brings back memories. "H-Heart?" I asked, "Is, that really you?" He gave a confused expression right away, not sure what to say. Then he put his hoof to his head and fell, nearly screaming in agony. "D-Dusk!?" The other colt said. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my head I put both my hooves to my head and fell next to Dusk. Then, darkness... I woke up to a near complete darkness, the only light emanating from Heart and I. "Wh-where are we?" he asked. Then to answer his questions, a beam of light shot out of the darkness and onto Heart's head. The light looked like a stream of images, and then it stopped, right before a specific event. Then the light emanating from Heart spread everywhere and then it looked like we were watching a scene from our point of views, like a flashback of sorts. Yet another flashback cept this is a continuation. I woke up lying on a bed. Well something like one, it was a card board box, a pillow, and newspaper, in other words, it was cold and this was a horrible shelter. I was in an alley, it was closed off on 3 sides. Heart was standing next to me, almost guarding me. He looked down at me and smiled, "You're Awake." I blinked, am I dreaming or something? "So," he said, "You okay? I'm not exactly the master of healing but none of your bones were broken, you have a few bruises here and there, and minor cuts. I packed bandages with me so I patched you up." I looked at my hooves, they had bruises on them. I looked at the rest of my body, bandages and bruises. "Oh uhhm... Thank you" I said. "It's no problem, love to help those who are like me, unique, special, everything. If someone needs help, I'll do my best." He smiled and leaned on the wall. I saw that he had cuts. "You have cuts." He looked at himself, "Oh, I do? It's nothing really. I looked down, there was blood on the floor, it leads all the way to Heart. There was a small pool of blood below him. He pulled something out of his pack; I don't know what it is. He sighed. "You know what this is?" he asked me. I walked up, to be honest, it was actually easy, I guess he did a good job. I looked at what he was holding. It was a piece of sapphire, it was in the shape of triangle. "It's a sapphire." He nods. "I found two gems, they fit perfectly with each other, I also have two chains, one's silver, and the other one is black, like a black pearl." He pulled out the chains and the other gem, an amethyst. "I was saving this if I ever met my first friend on the run; I want you to have it." He connected the silver chain with the sapphire, and put the necklace around my neck. I started to blush. He then combined the amethyst with the black chain and put it around his neck. He then came closer to me which made me blush deeper and then he then put the amethyst and sapphire next to each other, they fit together perfectly. "Beautiful..." I said, my eyes wide, still with a deep blush on my face. "One day, if I leave, I'll see you again, no matter what" he said with a smile on his face. I nodded my head. Then he started to fall, which made me worry. "Oww... Guess those cuts weren't minor." I undid my bandages, flipped them over, and put them over his cuts. "Eheh, thanks..." he said. I smiled, first friend ever. End of Flashback I woke up from my semi-coma. Heart and I stood up at the same time, our necklaces dangling out of our manes. I noticed a small new detail on the jewels, our necklaces now had our initials, mine said R.S. and Heart's said D.H. "Uhhh, D.H.?" I asked? "Oh yeah, you don't know my first name Raven, it's Dusk." I smile, I found him. "Well I'm gonna have to explain things, now" Dusk said, "C'mon let's go." Dusk and I then started walking to the center of town. The other colt, who Dusk told me was named Color Sphere later, and then asked a question, "What just happened?"
