Twilight Sparkle has returned to Canterlot to forge a new relationship between ponies and changelings. There she befriends Fey, a former sleeper agent who once operated in the very same city. When the changeling reveals an aspect of her mentor she has never seen before, however, the young princess must choose between forsaking her new friend and risking the discovery of her darkest secret. Meanwhile, a shadowy puppetmaster is working ceaselessly to brew unrest and break this newfound peace before it can even begin...
