My Little Pony Friendship is Chaos
How it all began
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe police had surrounded Chaos and a group of hostages he had taken with him to an uninhabited building that supposed to be demolished the next day.
“Give me what I want or I will destroy this building and everyone in it!”
“You don’t need to do that.” The chief of the police spoke into his megaphone, “We can settle this without hurting anyone else.”
“Sir, we have the snipers ready and armed. They have him in his sights.” An officer spoke into the chief’s ear.
“Good. Maybe we can get this lunatic off the streets and into the state prison or if it doesn’t work we can always call Gridiron.”
What are they talking about over there? Could they be planning something? Unsure what was going on down on the streets, Chaos decided to read the Chief’s mind. After reading his mind, he realized that there were snipers hidden in the nearby buildings. But before he could react, a sniper fired his gun causing the others to fire as well. Trying to dodge the bullets, Chaos accidentally crushed and activated the explosives inside the building.
As the building began to be consumed by the fire and collapsed to the floor, Chaos managed to get away from it and retrieve his missing part to make his machine work. Once getting it, he headed towards his secret lair or laboratory in which he had built the machine. Upon arriving there, he quickly assembled the machine and prepared a test subject to make sure it worked. After finding out it worked perfectly, he gathered all his things that he would need for the permanent trip. After finishing, Chaos had become too tired to make the travel that day; so he decided to leave first thing in the morning. However that day wouldn’t come.
As darkness filled the sky with bright stars and a full moon, Chaos had gotten a few hours of sleep until he heard a loud crash. Startled by the noise, he slowly got out of his bed and quietly checked what or who had made that sound. To his surprise, soldiers was at his front door of his laboratory trying to break open the second door.
“How in the hell did they find me?!” Chaos asked himself.
Scurrying away from his door, Chaos activated his machine and prepared all his things for the trip. As he prepared to leave, the soldiers entered his lair and began to raid it; destroying anything they saw. Gridiron was with them as well.
He was a tall Japanese man wearing some type of suit that was design specifically for him. No one knew where he had come from but once thing was for certain, he was the only person to stand up to Chaos and have a chance of winning. Gridiron’s abilities gave him control over fire, water, earth, and wind. He also had psychic abilities but not as powerful as Chaos.
Knowing he had very little time, he grabbed as many things as he could and entered the portal.
Is it just me or does this machine remind me or something? Can’t put my finger on it. It’ll come to me eventually.
Seeing him from the corner of his eye, Gridiron grabbed one of the soldier’s guns and shot the machine causing it to malfunction. Being inside the portal at the time, Chaos realized what had happened and tried to run out of the portal and into the planet, but it shut, sealing him inside what he called the Negative Zone.
For a while of being trapped inside the Negative Zone, he began to twitch and turn violently.
After that, he began to feel extremely sick. Then, a horrible headache began to emerge. After all these things had gotten up to a point, Chaos began to laugh and scream unleashing a powerful aura that opened up another portal. His sense of reality had become so distortion that he began seeing strange things and images. I…became… i…insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity. It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane. The fear of insanity or what we would become if we embraced it is what keeps us sane, therefore being sane is in itself insanity. All of us have madness and insanity inside us; some deeper than others. However, no matter what, there would be no light without dark. Just as there would be no dark without light.
He kept repeating those words over and over again while showing no signs that he would ever stop. Having lost control of himself and his sanity once again, Chaos laughed evilly and insanely unlike never before. The vortex of the portal began to shut slowly but before it did, it sucked Chaos into it and then closed completely. As he traveled through the vortex his sanity slowly began to return until it had returned back to normal.
Shocked and disillusioned by the experience, Chaos had gotten a better understanding of interplanetary travel. Arriving at the end of the portal, he saw that the world he was going to was inhabited.
“Oh no.” He told himself, “Anything but this.”
He then fell from the portal and onto the ground of the world he was sent to. Immediately he got up and flew up towards the portal but it closed before he could get to it.
“Great! Now I’m stuck in the middle of who knows where along with the inhabitants of this world. Simply great.” He said to himself sarcastically.
