With tensions between the two nations endlessly growing, Princesses Celestia and Luna form a team of elite soldiers consisting of the Main 6. To stand a chance at winning they must train harder than even the Royal Guard. When Starlight's soldiers get to Equestria their first target is Ponyville! During the attack many lives are lost and many more are ruined. The Main 6, along with five hundred Equestrian Soldiers, are sent to try and find the reason for this unnecessary act of violence; On this journey they gain a few valuable allies, and discover a hidden plot that, if successful, will change the balance of power across the whole of Equis.
