The north of Equestria, place where it lies the crystal empire, a place that was forgotten by time and ponies for a thousand years because of the ambition of a dark crystal and a powerful unicorn: the feared King Sombra, drowned the empire into oblivion a thousand years ago. Now, these are things of the past, the known local hero, Spike 'the brave and glorious' brought back the crystal heart where it belonged; marking the end of the cruel king almost three years ago when the forgotten kingdom rose from its slumber.

But how did the empire has been doing in these three years with their new benevolent rulers? "better than ever" the crystal ponies will tell you simply; and is hard to not believe them. Since their crystal nature and the properties of the empire are symbiotic, anyone that steps inside will notice the bright shine that covers the streets and structures of the kingdom; a shine that the crystal ponies transmit to their surroundings only when they feel happy or in love.

happiness that was unusually high in this day. The empire shined at least three times brighter than usual. Finding the reason behind of the unusual shine was not difficult for the common tourist.

"I love when the local hero visits the empire, makes the trip twice its worth" a gray tourist earth pony commented.

Just as the gray stallion claimed, the little purple scaled dragon know to the people as Spike the brave and glorious was visiting the empire alongside the six-month-old new princess of friendship and his best friend, Twilight Sparkle. To be more precise Twilight was the one visiting her sister-in-law Cadance, the princess of love and co-ruler of the land. Spike was needed to write a guide for the new cadets, with the help of two generals that came from Canterlot and shining armor, the second co-ruler.

The both princess were right now enjoying a little dessert while Twilight rested from the trip: Vanilla ice cream with Cherry top. The ice cream was a delight for the lovely Cadance, who noticed that while twilight seemed refreshed, she looked anxious.

"It's there something wrong my dear sister? you look concerned by something..." she asked while grabbing a handkerchief to clean her muzzle.

"No, it's nothing I- I'm totally fine"Twilight stuttered," I was just thinking how to start our little chat, haha, I don't know where to start, how had you been? how is my brother doing? had been some other troubles while we were at Ponyville? do your hormones calm after losing your virginity?"

Cadance lost her magic hold on the handkerchief for a second, grabbing it back just before it touched the ground. she felt astonished but happy nonetheless, "aaaw, Twilight!" she cheered once she composed herself, "I was hoping to have this kind of conversation since I got to knew you were dating flash sentry".

"Wait wait wait, did you know?".

"It is hard to keep secrets when you are a princess sweety" Cadance replied, moving the glasses to the center of the table, "Actually... this a little hard to digest..." she commented in a shameful tone, "I was expecting that you will wait at least two years before asking for this kind of chat".

Twilight shifted her fore hoofs together, feeling uneasy as for how the conversation was going,"well is just that... I don't know how to express it"

"Dear, just in case I'll ask: he isn't forcing you into nothing right?" Cadance asked, turning the conversation into a muttered chat.

Twilight eyes went wide, "no no, sorry if I give you a bad impression, but he isn't the one forcin-" 'oh crap' Twilight reacted way too late to redeem her words.

"Twilight... I don't like where this is going... look I know that the estrus seasons are rough times for a mare in need and all, but you have to keep strong against it. And just for your knowing, your hormones will keep the way they are until you grow old" she explained, their faces inches apart.

A sudden couple of heavy knocks at the door frightened the gossiping sisters, a guard make himself present in the room soon after, "Miss Twilight, a message from your brother, he sent me to say that his work with Mr.Spike will be done in fifty minutes" the guard said.

"That's good to hear, and here I thought he will need to stay for the day, thanks for telling me guard" Twilight chirped, the guard saluting before taking his way back to his patrol.

Unknown to Twilight, Cadance had looked the entire scene with intrigue in her eyes; a couple of ideas started running through her mind.

'What was that? that shine in her eyes... no, no, I'm just seeing things, but-'

"It's everything alright Cadance?" Twilight interrupted Cadance line of thoughts.

"Eh... yeah, I was just thinking something Twilight... aside from the lack of intercourse, how had been your relationship with Flash?"

Cadance noted how the bloom on Twilight eyes vanished again, "Oh, well he is nice, a really hard worker officer, always trying to improve his skill, he is the over protective type of guy, well most of the guards I know are like that, and-"

"How has been your dates so far?" Cadance asked. Twilight was sensing that their conversation was turning more into an interrogation than simple gossiping.

"The first ones were really awkward, since we didn't know each other too well, by the third one we got to see a play in manehatan and then a walk at the park, most of the talk was made by him; the date afterwards was in Canterlot, at a convention about Starwill the bearded , he make me laugh at couple of times... but know that I think of it, we didn't chat too much in that date-"

"What do you like most of him by now?" Cadance said, before taking the glasses to another stand in order to clear their table.

"Well... I really like his... and... well he is really... wait, wait wait, why are you interrogating me so suddenly?" Twilight asked overwhelmed by the pressure.

Cadance took a deep breath before face turned more concerned, "Twilight, I'm just worried about you, as you may know, I am the bearer of the element of Love, and because of it I know a lot more of the matter... and what you have Twi... it doesn't seem to be love at all".

"What? we clicked since the beginning! well, we were humans back then, but either way, once I got here and meet him again we clicked twice! I don't think that could be a coincidence right?"

Cadance sighed heavily "Twilight... 'the click' is not the best example for true love... unless it keeps happening all the time. like for example..." Cadance kept for a moment thinking, "With Spike towards Rarity!" she clapped her hoofs together noticing a little twitch from Twilight's ears and eyes.

"Uhm" Cadance hesitated for a moment, "what I mean to say, my dear Twilight, is that I'm really concerned about your feelings with Flash and that I know of a spell that could bring me the answers you need".

"A spell? like what? a mind reading one? is a memory searching one? an-"

"Don't worry my little sister, my spell will only focus on the things you feel" she assured.

Twilight shifted a little in concern, Cadance was about to dig into her mind... who knows what she could find. 'wait' she paused in thought, this was Cadance after all, she shouldn't worry. If someone could help solve her conflicted thoughts, that would be her dear sister without a doubt.

"Alright Cadance, I'll trust you" Twilight smiled, "Besides, if I don't solve this now, maybe this could shoot back to me in the future..."

Cadance cheered and snickered in joy, "Thanks, I'll make you proud of your decision" she claimed before charging her horn, "now hold still, and don't worry if I start making weird sounds".

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked intrigued but found not answer coming from her sister, The magic was already in work.

Cadance and Twilight stood in silent for a moment; from then on Twilight just watched how Cadance shifted, frowned, laughed, sighed and hummed. After what seemed like an eternity for the purple unicorn, Cadance face turned into a heavy frown, like she was in deep concentration, and then something within the spell clicked, and her face rose in joy again.

The joy turned in quite moans after a couple of seconds, then the moans turned into sobs, joyful sobs filled with laughs. After fifteen seconds Cadance got silent.

"It seems like you are done with the spell. how-"

Cadance took a huge breath, her fur flickering, a whole shiver running her whole body. "Oh... dear!" she moaned loudly, Twilight launched a sound barrier spell around the room on instinct.

"Hey dude did you just heard that?" the left guard next to the door of the room where Twilight and Cadance were talking said.

"What?".

"I don't know, it sounded like a moan" his face got red before he continued, "a loud one...".

The other guard sighed and faced him, "look, bro, you really need to get a mistress, all this stress is consuming your senses" he suggested him.

"Yeah, maybe I'm just seeing things... sorry bud, won't happen again"

Back inside the room, Twilight purple fur had shaded so redly because of Cadance actions that she could be confused as big mac lost sister. Cadance by the other hand was in a euphoric paradise, her eyes had long ago lost her shine and focus, her wings were spread out, her tongue was lolling out and leaving a trail of drool that reached down to the table and the floor. The only thing that signaled she was still alive were her constant moans and groans of pleasure followed by her heavy breathing.

"Oh, my goodness, this is..." Cadance finally spoke again, signaling that she still held consciousness, "Twilight who... how... oh my dear mom! this is too much- I thin- i".

Suddenly Cadance got stiff, her head turning back to the point she was seeing the door behind her; Twilight could hear a series of squishy sounds coming from bellow the table they were sharing. At this point, the purple unicorn was on the verge of fainting because of the shame of seeing the image she held with such pride of her sister crumble into tiny pieces.

Cadance slowly awake and tried to compose herself of her previous climax, "sorry you saw that Twilight, is the first time this happens to me, and believe me I had lost count on how many times I had used that spell". Cadance put her tiara on the clean side of the table and grabbed the closest hair comb she could find in order to repair her now fuzzy mane.

A moment of silence was shared between both mares, Cadance was trying hard to put all the pieces in place about what she just felt. Twilight by her part was in an internal frenzy; her sister just felt what she had, all the happy and sad times she had experienced; but at the last moments, Cadance showed other feelings... feelings that weren't associated with her current acquaintance.

"You should end your relationship with Flash Sentry." Cadance declared coldly with her eyes locked on Twilight every move and reaction.

Twilight couldn't handle the sudden seriousness of the matter, "What, no wait... what did you-".

"Who is the other stallion? or mare if is the case" Cadance interrupted.

'She... she knows... well looks like she doesn't seem to know everything. Wait, Twilight, this is your dear sister Cadance, if someone can help you find your true feelings towards Spike, she is the mare!' Twilight though, feeling hope rise within her before giving her sister an answer, "he is a friend of mine since a long time... I lost the count on how many times he had been there for me".

Cadance put the hair comb and her tiara where they belonged, and then grabbed a mop and proceeded to clean the floor "You both have been doing things in bed that I have only achieved a couple of times in all the time I have with your brother... I'm a little envious I must say" she said playfully, "so... is a stallion then. tell me what you love about him".

"What?" Twilight asked shocked, her sister giving her a knowing look. "I... I love his devotion, his passion for helping others, sometime's I ask myself how he isn't a bearer of the elements; he can also be a little sarcastic or rude too sometimes, but that's a part of him I wouldn't change for anything in the world" Twilight claimed with pride, realizing at the end what she meant.

"Oh, my goddess" she discovered the feelings behind her previous words. Tears flew through her muzzle as the realization sunk in her psyche.

"I'm so happy for you Twilight" Cadance stated, making her way to the door, "you know, I was worried for a second..."

'Please don't be him'

"I thought for a second we were talking about Spike-"

A purple silk of magic enveloped the door, sealing it down from both sides.

'So is him after all' Cadance sighed.

"What do you mean with that?" Twilight asked, her tone more heavy than usual.

"Twilight please tell me that this is a stallion."

Twilight got up from her seat, her frown indicating her uprising rage "he is a male yes".

"Twilight, you need to be clear to me".

"Why? I can't love someone from another species?".

"You know damn well what I mean" Cadance stated, "Please... please tell me you didn't fall in love with my brother!"

"What happens if I do?" Twilight's mane started to rise up in the sky. "I know there is secrecy about him and his royal status, but-".

"Twilight you can't be with him! he is your friend since you two were foals, you both raised together. You are like a sister to him!" Cadance shouted at the verge of tears.

"Is not like that!" Twilight shouted back, tendrils of fire travelling through her mane, "even when we are so close, we always have seen each other like best friends; I don't care what society will think of us, he was the one who chose to stay by me side for the rest of our lives, and for all I care He.Is.Mine".

"Twilight he has been taken already!" The shout echoed deep through the sealed room, followed by Cadance sobs and whines.

Twilight mane started to flare his way back down "what... no no no, he would have told me, Celestia would have told me. You would have told me".

Cadance sited on her haunches, looking down while her tears freely escaped her eye sockets, "Celestia said nothing to him about it, Luna and I are the only ones who knows about this..."

"Wait, so he doesn't know? that's unfair Cadance! you of all ponies should be against something like that!"

"Twilight there is almost nothing we can do, Saddle Arabia had helped us in our moments of need with the only condition of giving Spike to them; how do you think we raised an entire kingdom kept in the shadow for a thousand year, we didn't have food, water, electricity, not even guards since all of them were still scared. And don't think the fight we had with the changeling was cheap either".

"So what? it doesn't change anything! we can pay them back whatever they gave us".

Feeling incapable of moving to her side, Cadance teleported all the way over to Twilight, lunging her into a sobbing hug.

"Twilight you don't understand, it could mean war for us... they already claimed how far they will go for him... "

"They don't deserve him... no, I will not let this happen!".

"Twilight, I love that you want to go that far for my brother, and I know the feelings you have shared with him but-"

"It's a long history that I will tell you on another time, but for now I will tell you this: he doesn't know what we have done"

"Hold on a moment, what? no no, we can discuss that in another time; either way, Twilight, he hold feels for your fashionista-"

"That changed too, he may not tell any of us, but he cares deeply for the girls and me..." Twilight released herself from the hug, "So Rarity isn't the only one I need to care about for that matter" she said with a smile.

Cadance tears were back with joy, The resolve of Twilight bring hope to the vote of true love she felt to this day breaking. After composing herself, she faced Twilight with the same self-confidence.

"It will be a difficult path my fellow princess, but I'll do whatever I can to find a way to help you get Spike out of those ponies hoofs without getting us involved in a war"

Twilight got confused for the sudden approval "Wow, so you are going to help me?"

"Of course! after all, there is no much we can do now, for what I felt about you two, you may have tainted his chastity by now right? and that is one of the requisites the rulers from Saddle Arabia demanded intact" She explained, leaving Twilight in more confusion.

"What do you mean? Spike and I are still virgins".

Cadance wide eyes remained open, her chest signaling that she had stopped breathing too; The declaration was too heavy for her to bear. Luckily a couple of knocks from the outside brought her back to her senses.

"Twilight are you done? I already finished the book, let's go home, I promised Pinkie to help her with a special order today!" Spike shouted from the outside.

"I think is better if we keep this conversation for another time" Twilight said, giving a departure hug to her beloved sister in law, "and I'm sorry for shouting at you, I got a little outraged hehe" she kissed her cheek before leaving.

Soon after the princess of friendship and her assistant departure, Cadance husband entered the room, looking in his way inside at her shocked wife.

"It's everything alright honey? you look bewildered by something, did my sister talked to you about complex quantum physics or something?"

"I think I should start learning about transmutation spell first..."

"What did u..." Cadance grabbed her husband with her magic and carried him while she trotted outside the room, "WHERE ARE WE GOING?"

"TO THE LIBRARY, MIND IF I TEST SOME SPELLS ON YOU TODAY?" she shouted euphorically before pulling him towards her sultry face, "I promise I will compensate it to you later".

Shining armor swallowed a huge knot in his throat, "anything for you, my princess..." he replied a little uneasy, today is gonna be a no legs day for him again.

Well well well, I thought at first this chapter will be divided into three scenes, but after how well the first one got, I decided that this only scene will compensate for the feelings and plot I wanted to deliver.
