A pink pegasus by the name of Kasuna "Insanity" (as most ponies called her ever since an incident from last year), is struggling through a hard time, having just moved into Ponyville, and her only friend still lives in Baltimare.

She's very shy and knows nobody in the small town, and doesn't want the same nightmare that caused her to leave her old town to happen here. In attempt to start over, she tries to cover up her Cutie Mark as much as possible, because the only reason she earned it was from a mistake she made in the Baltimare elementary school when she was thirteen. She heavily regrets everything she's done in the past, and desperately wants to change her future, so she doesn't end up in prison or worse, dead.

Will she be able to live happily there? Or will she not live at all?
