When you're 25 and a pegasus, you must go on a migration with all of the other 25 year old pegasi. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash just turned 25 (Fluttershy first, and so did Derpy) so they hear about the migration and have to say goodbye to their friends. It's hard for not only the 2 pegasi, but the rest of their friends to say goodbye.
