In an alternate universe were the undead suddenly begin to roam Equestria, a stallion named Gallo in love with a deceased mare named Applejack walks the wastes of the world reflecting on his life now and his life with Applejack in a previous, less horrific time.

The chapters will not follow a chronological order. The story will eventually make the chronological ordering of the chapters clear to the reader.

Perspective also shifts a lot. There are chapters that are written in the second person, some of which may not make it immediately clear to the reader who it is that is being addressed by the narrator. Others are written in first or third person with perspective shifting from character to character.

Just bare with what may seem like messing storytelling to new readers. Everything is written and ordered the way it is for a reason which will hopefully become evident to careful readers in the future.

It is planned to be a fairly lengthy story that will be updated a few chapters at a time. It is currently far from complete.

It's marked mature for it's mature themes but it is, for the most part, SFW.
