It's been two weeks since the events of Camp Everfree. Since Sunset Shimmer has obtained her newfound magic she has been suffering nightmares every night. Maybe it's recalling her horrible past, another night it's losing to the forces of evil, and sometimes it's what could have been if she had won.

Determined to not let that get her down she takes a trip with Twilight Sparkle into the city for a relaxing day during their summer vacation. The events of magic first coming to this world since Princess Twilight stepped through the portal have started to escalate. Change is on the horizon. Magic is quickly becoming something strange and real. And dreams matter.
