But something was strange. AppleJack wasn't outside, Nor Granny Smith, or Big Mac. In fact, None of the Apple Family was there. Then, AppleBloom found a piece of paper taped on one of the Apple Trees. She squinted to see what the piece of paper had on it... It was a note! AppleBloom crept closer to the tree to read the note, as if she thought it was going to eat her. Once she was close enough to make out the words, she read it. It read: Dear Apple Bloom, Twilight,Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Spike, Fluttershy, The Apple Family, and I are leaving you in charge of the Summer Harvest. We won't be home until Fall, because we're going around the world, defending other ponies. I hope that you will stay on task and won't abandon your work. Remember, No playing with your friends until your work is done. Stay on task, AppleJack. This made AppleBloom groan. She didn't wan't to do this, but she remembered what AppleJack did last time she didn't do her work. She harvested apples from half of the trees at Sweet Apple Acres. "I'll do the rest tomorrow" she said tiredly. She walked into the house and started watching television. //-------------------------------------------------------// 4 Scootaloo's Easy Escape //-------------------------------------------------------// 4 Scootaloo's Easy Escape Scootaloo Put her homework on the counter and went to flying lessons with Rainbow Dash. She was really excited to learn how to do a flip in the air. "Step one!" said Rainbow Dash, stretching and cracking her wings. "Flap your wings!" she said, flapping her wings. "Step two!" she said. "Go!" she said, flying at the speed of light. "Step three!" she screamed, looking back at Scootaloo,but still flying pretty fast. " Fly a little farther, Yep... and.... FLIP! Scootaloo did the best she could to flip. "Perfect!" said Rainbow Dash. "Now keep going, and.... STOP! "Wow, Scootaloo! That was GREAT!" she yelled. "Thanks!" said  Scootaloo, taking a breath. "Ok, since our lesson is done,you can goof off for awhile." said Rainbow, " 'Cause I have to teach some wimpy pegasus named Glamor how to jump a cloud." Glamor. Where had she heard that name before? Oh. It was Silver Spoon's older sister. She remembered meeting her like it was yesterday. It was a really sunny day, but something odd happened. It started to rain. She looked up to see the source, and it just-so happened to be a pegasus who looked EXACTLY like Silver Spoon. She could hear Silver Spoon giggling and saying "Hope you brought an umbrella, BLANK FLANK!" //-------------------------------------------------------// Summer Begins //-------------------------------------------------------// Summer Begins It was a sunny, hot, Summer day. Ms. Cheerilee was passing out the worksheets that the Fillies would have to do over the Summer if they didn't get an A on their end of year  test. Soon After she did this, the school bell rang, and all the fillies rushed to the park to find something to do, that is, except for the Cutie Mark Crusaders, who each got B's. They were a little upset that instead of having fun, they had to do their homework. "This just isn't fair" said Scootaloo. She looked over at the other Fillies who were playing in the park with their friends. "How come they don't have to do any homework?" she said. "Because WE got A's on our tests." "Who said that?" said Apple Bloom. "It was us!" The Cutie Mark Crusaders looked around, and soon they saw that it was Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. "Nice try on your test, LAME BRAINS!" said Silver Spoon. "What is your Brain made out of anyway? Guacamole?" said Diamond Tiara. Both Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon laughed. "Have a nice Summer... SMALL BRAINS! Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon said in unison as they walked away, giggling. The Cutie Mark Crusaders walked home, not saying anything for the whole walk. When Apple Bloom came home, Apple Jack waved hi to her and insisted that after she finished her homework, she would have to help with the Summer Harvest. As Sweetie Belle walked into the house, Rarity Said that after she'd finished her homework, she'd have to clean the house, because Rarity was too involved in making Princess Celestia a dress for the Grand Galloping Gala this year. When Scootaloo opened the door to her house, her parents told her that after she finished her Homework, She'd have to go to flying lessons with Rainbow Dash. As the Cutie Mark Crusaders did their homework, they didn't realize how fun this Summer was going to be. //-------------------------------------------------------// Sweetie Belle's Lies //-------------------------------------------------------// Sweetie Belle's Lies After Sweetie Belle gladly put her homework in her "Fun Fillies Folder", she did chores around the house. After about 5 minutes, she couldn't take it anymore, so she walked up to Rarity and asked if she could take a walk outside. "Did you finish putting the dishes away?" "uh-huh", replied Sweetie Belle. She had easily finished that in five minutes. But in order to go outside and meet her friends, the rest, she thought, she would have to lie about.  "And did you clean the floor?" "Yep" lied Sweetie Belle. "Did you scrub the windows?" "Yes, Rarity." Sweetie Belle lied once again. " Did you brush Opal, Fold the laundry, do your homework, and tidy up the curtains?" "Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep!" Fibbed Sweetie Belle. "Then you can go outside, Sweetie Belle. But you better not be LYING like last time!" Sweetie Belle gulped and closed the door shakily.As she walked down the trail, she wished that she was an alicorn like Princess Luna and Celestia, so that she could still have a horn to magic with, but she could also fly away from her home and go up in the clouds with all Derpy, Dinky, Scootaloo, and Rainbow Dash. Sweetie Belle sighed and sat on a bench in the grass, thinking of how cool it would be if she could just fly away from Rarity and live her own life up in the clouds without trying on prissy outfits or being told what to do. But then she realized that even if she did have wings, she was just a filly, so she would needed to be supervised and shielded from dangerous things. As cool as Rainbow Dash was, Sweetie Belle would still have to ride on her back and hang on, or something like that. But she probably would spend more time around Derpy, considering that she didn't know if she would have to supervise fillies when they fly. Then she had an Idea. She'd just Dream about it.
