chapter 1
Angel woke up feeling slightly sick he looked around he was in a room with a stain glass walls that seemed to reflect no lights almost like they were completely there for astatic purposes. And no doors as he attempted to move his body he noticed that his body felt funny; he looked down and noticed that instead of the usual and comforting feeling of his wings he felt something on his head. as he inspected himself more. he looked behind him were his wings were . He felt some slight pain in both of them it felt like he sprained them it hurt to flex or move them he began to panic..... calm down Angel slowly folded his wings back to his side. He looked around the room as far as he could tell the only way out or in this room was that one door. there is probably a logical reason for why he couldn't seem to remember almost anything up to how he Ended up in this apparently barren room with only the walls and a steel door. Well enough lollygagging He thought to himself as he attempted to get to his feet as soon. As he started putting pressure on his legs he quickly found that he legs felt sore. As he started walking to the door he quickly found that his legs hurt. it was a constant throb in his legs. what happened to me? Angel though not for the second time since waking up.
As he got to the door he noticed that it was slightly warm here's hoping that there isn't anything dangerous on the other side. Like a Volcano or a dark thought crossed his mind I could be on the sun and this room could be all that's keeping me safe......hmmm well I wont know unless I try at the very least it will hopefully be quick either way. Taking a deep breath he pushed the door. As soon as the door opened he noticed almost immediately he found himself in a tunnel leading upwards. Taking another deep breath he slowly began walking up the small incline, Each step seemed to tire him out just how long was I in that room and why was I even there to began with? he tried to think searching his mind for the answers that surely should be there for why he was in that room to begin with. About 10 minutes of walking he felt that the tunnel was beginning to even out as he felt that he couldn't walk another minute he came to another door. He took a few minutes to catch his breath the room opened up to a bigger room. as he took stock of the new room he noticed a couple dozen chairs and what looked like a kitchen in the back. Well at least ill be able to get something to eat and take a break to let me body rest a little.
He started walking through the tables and chairs as he looked around he noticed that there were 2 more doors leading out and in front of the row of tables and chairs. opening the door too the kitchen he came to a smaller room with a couple bags of what he guessed were food. looking through the bag's he started taking stock of what was in the bags he found a couple carrots a few turnips and a few bags of sugar. as he took a few of the items out and walked over to the stove he started preparing and cooking the food. Turning on the sink he took a couple gulps of water as soon as it was in his mouth he felt a lot better as he quenched a thirst he didn't even notice that he was that thirsty as soon as he felt that he drank enough water he began to question how there was running water in what as far as he knew was a abandoned building or far as he new thinking about the mess hall a military compound.
the food was done and he felt that it was ready to eat. he made a little bed outta the tables and cloth used for the tabletops. as he closed his eyes he slowly started to get comfortable he thought it couldn't hurt to get a little sleep right? I'm not in any danger and I got at least 3 days worth of food more if I ration it though I'm goin to have to figure out where I am as soon as I get up. Saying that he drifted off to sleep as he woke up he felt a little better goin back into the kitchen he started looking through all the bags again to make sure he knew how much he had. Hmmm......now how am I goin to transport all of this with me without it being more trouble then its worth. Specially the water unless he was in the middle of civilization he was goin to need to conserve the food and water. He almost wished that he was in the middle of a hostile town at the very least there was a chance that he. Could talk his way out of trouble it would be leagues better then being in the middle of the Dessert or Volcano as he originally thought. still not ruling it out but if he was a betting pony he would be more hopeful. Either for being in the middle of a hostile or abandoned town as opposed to being in the Desert. As he began to sort through the bags again he started looking around for a way he could use as a marker so that he wouldn't get lost he didn't know how big this place was yet after all. He started looking for a flask or something to carry the water in so that he could take it with him as he explored the building. As he gathered what few supplies he felt he would need he walked to the left door on the side of the tables.
16 Hours Later
Angels was beginning to think that he was in some kind of underground compound it seemed that no matter how far he traveled he couldn't find any doors that led to the outside. Or open sky he did find a couple more supplies though so he guessed it wasn't that bad but eventually all the food would run out. As he went back to what he was beginning to think was the center of the underground base. He looked back at the kitchen in the back he blinked a couple of times was it just him or did it seem like there was slightly more food then when he began and a couple of the chairs were not in the place he left them. Are there people or animals here? and if so how come he didn't run into or find anyone. thinking back to the few caverns he explored he did finally find a opening out but it was on the other side of a chasm if he could use his wings he would be able to explore where in Equestria he was. though now that he knew that there was a way out he began. thinking about what he was goin to do depending on where he was. he could try finding his way back to either Canterlot or maybe even Manehattan. As long as he wasn't somewhere else maybe the dragonlands or even the badlands. a couple more days and he could attempt to cross the chasm and see where he is and what he was goin to do maybe he should attempt to see his sister Lilly. as soon as he was in the middle of the hall he opened the door to the kitchen as soon as he. Entered the room he looked around and grabbed a few food items. Putting the food in the bag attached to his hip he put the bag. Closing his eyes he quickly fell asleep. After waking up again he walked through the walls of dirt being held up by the support beams. As soon as he got to the place where the chasm was. He started looking around he couldn't attempt to fly over as he was now not if he wanted to be 100 hundred percent sure his wings wouldn't give out as soon as he attempted to fly across but this room was.
Big enough that he could start building a little makeshift house so that when he was ready to start moving his supplies he wouldn't have to make the journey. Back and forth through the cave. Sitting the bag on the ground he went back to the main room of the building a couple times until he had about 4 or 5 bags on the floor around him that should do for now. Now to see about exploring the other tunnel some more walking back the way he came. He took the other door and instead of the dirt and wooden support beams this tunnel was instead almost all made out of steel. a couple of times he wondered why one tunnel was dirt and wooden planks and the other was almost all steel support and walls its almost like two different types of people at one time used this place one exploring the tunnels using old methods of mining or digging tunnels the other using more advanced engineering to make them. As he walked further he thought about what he could remember before winding up here he was visiting his sister who lived in Canterlot. he was there to
he was there to celebrate there first child he remembered spending a few hours looking for a gift for little lotus then the party and the visit from there mom and dad after that though was a blur he remembered seeing someone who he thought was suspicious at the time but he couldn't remember chasing him or not. Opening the door suddenly in front of him he came to a new room this one was filled with mining and farming equipment as well as a few plants and even a tree though it was really small. They must have been trying to find a way to grow food underground without sunlight why though? he looked around he saw a few random pictures of what he would assume. Were the family and a few of people who were working on this project. he walked to the end of the room looking around when he first discovered this room he was tired and was thinking about goin back after 5 hours of trying to find a way across the gulf in the other room he was hoping that there would be a secret passage. Or even a way to the outside though
Though knowing his look if he found a hidden room in here it would lead even deeper into the apparent underground compound. Maybe he should just stick to the original idea of just waiting until his wings healed so that he could go to where he could at least say for sure there was a outside on the other side. Moving his hands over the walls he slowly walking around the light blue room. Picking up one of the picture frame and turning it around he saw a note future science and food tech company team A.
