Scootaloo has lived in the old orphanage, alone, for nearly four years. Still a Cutie Mark Crusader, and still a blank flank…and still an orphan. The only pony she calls family now is sick and dying. An old mare which took care of her since she was left on the doorstep.

It's all sadness that builds and builds inside of her as she holds it back every day.

Now, she just hopes she'll be adopted here, and be able to live in Ponyville with her friends.
