To many, the wetlands in Equestria are considered to be full of dangers and surprises. However, the wetlands beyond the borders of Equestria are far worse and are much more deadly. Especially, the wetlands that are south of the Everfree Forest.

The plants and creatures that live within are what nightmares are made of. The air reeks of rotten trees and fowl gases. And, the murky water will hide any danger. Good luck trying to find a place to hide here, because there isn't one.
