"So currently, we have two pressing tasks." I said, looking at Twilight and Sunset one evening after we had gotten back from our training with Sephiroth.

"What are those?" Sunset asked.

"In no particular order, finding my siblings and retrieving your sword from the other side of the portal." I replied as I stretched my back, getting a few pops from my vertebrae.

"Ummm, which is going to be easier?" Sunset asked.

"Probably getting your sword." Twilight responded. "Finding Talisman's siblings is going to be a rather involved process, since they could literally be anyone and she doesn't have any clues as to who they are, only that two of them are close by." She added.

Sunset sighed. "I figured as much. I'm just nervous about how things are going to go when I see my teacher again."

"Well, that is why we are going with you." I said.

"Wait, what?" Sunset asked, her eyes wide.

"You seriously thought we were going to let you go through the portal on your own?" Twilight asked. "We are going to help you do this."

I nodded. "She's right. We've got your back, no matter what." I added.

"But, what about there being two Twilights?" Sunset asked.

"Didn't you notice that there were differences when we made that little jaunt through Equestria after the little boat incident?" I asked. "For starters, our Raven has a completely different hair style, wears glasses, and carries herself differently than the Princess. That and her wings are several shades darker. Between that and a wardrobe change, I think we should be good."

"She's right, you know." Twilight replied. "My wings were such a dark purple they were almost black. I wonder if I should be worried about that?"

"We all have darkness in us." I replied. "But, we have touched it, and with some understanding due to experience, we can keep it from controlling us." I added.

Sunset sighed. "Fine, when should we do this?" She asked.

"Got a four day weekend from school coming up next month. Unless you had plans already, we can go then. In and out, maybe dragging your teacher and their friend back here if they are who I think they are." I said.

"You know who they are?" Sunset asked.

"I have a decent idea, but I won't know for certain until I meet them." I replied as I headed to the kitchen to make dinner.

As we cleaned up after dinner, my phone went, a call that I had been expecting for several months.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey Talisman, it's Sam."

"I figured as much. I take it that Dean has been taken?" I asked as I finished drying a plate before walking to the living room and sitting down.

"Yeah. I uh, got directions to Canterlot from Bobby, no idea how he knew how to get here, but we're at what I think is your school." He replied.

"Alright. Wait, 'we're at CHS?' Did Bobby come with you?" I asked, sitting upright, hoping the churning feeling in my gut was from a bad piece of chicken.

"Ummm, no. Another hunter I met. Her name is Ruby." He said.

FuckfuckfuckFUCK! This was the last thing I wanted to deal with right now!

"Alright, it would be a pleasure to meet her and compare notes. Let me give you directions." I said before doing so.

Hanging up the phone, I let out a strangled screams of frustration.

"Talisman, what's going on?" Twilight asked.

"What's going on is that Sam Winchester has come to Canterlot because Dean got dragged down to hell since the contract on his soul was up, and he has unknowingly brought a fucking DEMON WHORE into our town!" I said, frustration lacing my voice.

"Okay, so they are on their way here. How long do we have and what do we do before they get here?" Sunset asked.

"The directions I gave weren't the fastest route. So I figure about half an hour, forty-five minutes." I said before looking at the two. "We need a devil's trap. ASAP."

Just over thirty minutes later, there was a knock on the door. Thankfully Sunset was quick enough to paint the devil's trap on the ceiling in a close enough match to the paint already there.

I opened the door.

"Sam! You look like shit dude. Come on in." I said, ushering him inside. "And you must be Ruby. Pleasure to meet you." I said, leading her inside.

"Why, thanks! The pleasure is all mine." Ruby said. "Sam, you didn't tell she was-"

Whatever she was about to say I was was cut off when she smacked face first into the opposite side of the barrier formed by the devil's trap, which was now glowing on the ceiling.

"Huh, didn't expect that." I said as I looked up at the sigils.

"Must be getting a boost from the magic in the area." Sunset replied as she too looked at her handiwork.

"Probably. Harmonious magic would probably supercharge divine magic if working against evil." I replied.

"Ummm, question?" Twilight said. "What exactly just happened and why is she trapped in there?"

"So, basic rundown." I said. "That is a devil's trap." I said, gesturing to the ceiling. "Does exactly what it says on the tin. Demon goes in, they ain't getting out unless we let them out."

Twilight thought for a moment before recognition sparked. "Ah, okay! I thought the 'demon whore' thing was metaphorical." She said, smiling brightly.

I stared at her for a moment before shaking my head. "So, Ruby was it? Lilith let you out to play?" I asked her.

"Fuck you!" Ruby snarled.

"Wait, she's a demon?" Sam said, apparently suffering from shock.

"Yup! That is why you always make sure that you never, ever stick your dick in crazy. You might just get an actual demon bitch from Hell." I said brightly. "So, how goes the plan to let ol Lucy out of his cage?"

"How did a mortal know that?" Ruby asked, stunned at my blunt question.

I laughed as I channeled my magic and my wolf features came out. "Please, whoever said I was mortal? Now, start talking before I start ripping pieces off of your meat suit."

"You wouldn't dare harm this body. You hunters always wanting to save people." She said, a smirk on her face.

"I'm not just a hunter, little demon. I am the Chain Breaker." I said, growling a bit.

Her eyes widened in fear.

"Oh, they've heard of me in the pit? How nice to have a reputation." I said.

"How? You're supposed to be bound in Asgard!" She shouted.

I rolled my eyes. "Things change little demon. I'm here fighting for free will. And it is my task set by the All Father." I said.

"Wait? Chain Breaker? What are you talking about Talisman?" Sam asked.

"This bitch is a pagan god! She will destroy the world!" Ruby shouted.

"Oi! I will have you know that I am not planning to do any destroying of worlds." I said indignantly. "I am trying to save this world."

"How can I trust that?" Sam asked.

"You've met Loki right?" I asked.

"Yeah, guy's a dick. Why?" Sam replied.

I pulled out my phone and dialed.

"Hey, Pops. Need you to pop in again. Got Sammy here with a demon bitch and he's wanting to know if I'm on the up and up." I said.

Ten seconds later a knock sounded at the door, and I went to answer it.

Standing outside was a smirking Loki. The disguised angel, not the real one.

"Look, I know that Sam probably doesn't trust you as far as he can throw you, but you are a known quantity to him. Maybe try to tone down the 'being a dick to the saviors of humanity' thing while you're here? You know, rules of hospitality and all that?" I said quietly.

"Got it. What was that about a demon?" He asked just as quietly.

"Ruby. One of Lilith's whores. Probably a newer one, but she had heard of me." I said.

"You haven't killed her?"

I rolled my eyes. "I was planning on it after I got some intel out of her."

"Fair enough, let's do this!" He whispered excitedly.

I rolled my eyes again and led him into the living room.

"Sorry about that, was re-explaining the rules of hospitality to my old man." I said.

"Wait, 'old man'?" Sam asked.

"Yup." I said smiling. "My true name is Fenris Lokidottir." I added with a bow.

"Wait? Loki has kids?" Sam asked with confusion on his face.

"Yup. Four of 'em!" 'Loki' said with a grin, enjoying every second of this.

"He's also only the father to three of us." I said.

"Hey now, no fair bringing that up." He said.

Sam shook his head from the path that info bomb sent him down. "So she really is your kid?" He asked.

"Her soul is yes. This is just her current body. Odin figured out a way to avert the prophecy and had the kids spend a few reincarnation cycles living as mortals until they had reached a point that they could control their powers and not be the monsters the rest of the Aesir thought them to be. The shenanigans that are brewing with Heaven and Hell caused them to be woken up to protect Humanity. So yes, she is one of the good guys." 'Loki' replied.

Sam sighed. "So what are we going to do about her?" He asked, gesturing to the fuming Ruby.

"Oh, I plan to extract some intel from her. Probably won't get much since she was mostly here to dose you with demon blood to boost the powers that Yellow Eyes gave you." I said.

"That is literally all I know about the plan." Ruby said as she produced the demon killing knife she had brought with her. "Lilith doesn't trust much. All I know is it is something to help open Lucifer's cage."

As she was saying this her hand started to move to stab herself with the knife.

There was a sound of ringing metal and her hand holding the knife landed on the floor, cut off just above the wrist.

We all turned to see Twilight with her nodachi out.

"What?" She asked. "We need information and it would be hard to do that if she kills herself."

I shrugged before stepping into the circle of the barrier with my hand enveloped in white hot flames, grabbing the stump of her arm and cauterizing the wound, making her whimper.

"We certainly can't have that, now can we?" I said, my eyes glowing bright with Mako. "Besides, unless you get to a host quickly, like within minutes or hours, after a demon possession, it is a kindness to just kill them. They can see everything that happens. The demon makes them. They enjoy the suffering of the soul." I added.

"What can I say? The suffering adds flavor." She said, smirking.

I rolled my eyes and brought my foot down onto her knee, shattering it and pushing the bone out the back side of the limb.

"What are you doing?!?" Sam yelled.

"Demons are beings of pure hate and malice." 'Loki' said. "The only languages they understand are making deals and pain."

"And I'm not going to be making any deals." I added before growling at her. "Now start talking."

The 'torture' didn't last all that long. Ruby spilled the details that she knew in their entirety, not adding much to what I had already known.

Her usefulness ended, I shoved a side blade through her heart, making it quick and as painless as possible for the poor girl who was trapped in her own body for who knows how long while Ruby wore her face.

"Was that necessary?" Sam asked quietly as we watched the body burn, having relocated to a quarry.

I nodded. "Like I said. Unless you get to the victim in less than a day, demon possession is fatal. And if it isn't, there is a good chance the victim will kill themselves due to the sheer trauma of watching from the back row as your face does horrible things." I replied. "Not many have the strength of will to withstand that. It is the ultimate violation of a person, a violation of their soul. Your best bet is to make it quick, for their sake at least."

Sam stared at the dying flames of the pyre. "I guess I can understand that. Was this why you wanted me to come here?" He inquired.

"Yes. Aside from taking time to process everything, it was to hopefully protect you from this shit and to delay opening the cage." I said, looking at him seriously.

"So what happens now? Is Satan still going to escape?" He asked.

"Not Satan, Lucifer. Two completely separate beings. Satan is a demon. The Colt will kill him. Maybe. He is powerful. Lucifer on the other hand, you'll just piss him off and waste a bullet." I explained.

"Wait, Lucifer isn't a demon?" Sam asked, surprised.

"Nope. Lucifer Morningstar, thought most the most beautiful in God's eyes before his fall." I replied.

"Wait, Lucifer is an angel?" He asked.

"Worse, an archangel. Way more powerful. One of the few beings that actually stands a chance of killing me." I said with a sigh.

"So you really are a pagan god?" He asked quietly.

I nodded. "My mates and our friends keep me grounded and my power fed. Their faith in me runs deep, deeper than I can even fathom." I said, a slight smile on my face.

"But what about when they die? You're going to outlast them." He said.

I shook my head with a chuckle. "Those seven young women are Gaia's chosen. Her SHIELDS. They are the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony in this world and are its guardians. They will be around as long as the planet is." I said, having learned that from our discussion with the girls after their conversations with Gaia.

"So, all eight of you are pretty much immortal?" He asked.

"Yup." I replied. "Fucking sucks ass."

He laughed in disbelief. "Why?"

"Because in this modern age of cell phone cameras and social media, it is hard to disappear and come back as someone else. We have some nebulous plans, but it will be difficult to do as things advance." I replied.

Sam thought for a moment. "I can see that I guess. Not as simple as getting a new passport and going to another country anymore."

I shook my head again. "Nope. Add to the fact that they are in a sense tied to this city, they can't stray too far. But, this city has a surprisingly laid back attitude towards the strange." I said.

"You can say that again." A voice behind us said.

Sam jumped and spun to look at the interloper.

"Hey Aegis. What's up?" I asked, not looking away from the now burnt out and smoldering pyre.

"Was on patrol and thought I saw smoke. Something I should be concerned about?" She asked.

"Not unless you want to write up a report about demons and gods and hunters." I said.

Aegis gave a quiet 'Hmmm'. "Fair point. Celestia and Luna have told the Chief about the monsters that they hunt, and she is more than happy to let them handle it. I assume they have told her that you are their protégé?" She inquired.

"More than likely. I haven't heard anything, but if they are at least informing the police chief of what they get up to in their off time, then they probably have." I said.

"It was more of they helped her out a few years ago apparently with some kind of haunting or something. She just lets them get on with it as long as it is discreet." Aegis said.

"We try our best. Usually we succeed. That witch on my birthday was a surprise and a half, and the only hunt that got a little public according to them. Fortunately, no one saw me take the shot that took his head off." I said.

"What did you use by the way?" Aegis asked. "That was a lot of damage for a single shot."

I smirked and stood up, drawing the pistol that I had used to kill the fucker a few weeks ago.

".454 Casull long frame. Fires hollow point rounds made with silver from a cross from a very old and very holy cathedral." I said holding up the hand cannon that was Judgement.

"Do I even want to know how you all managed to acquire that kind of ammo?" Aegis asked.

"Turns out Luna knows a guy at the Vatican. Since they had to disband the Iscariot, they have been working with hunters that have earned their trust." I answered, holstering the big gun.

"Iscariot?" Sam asked.

I nodded. "The Vatican had their own monster hunters, but after the Iscariot got pretty well wiped out after their leader went on a very short and very blasphemous crusade, they decided it was better to outsource it. Hunters tend to not go zealot all that often and rarely ever think of themselves as higher than God." I explained.

"When did this happen?" Sam asked.

"Mid 90s I think? Not really much information is available. I am seriously surprised about that too. Lots of dead people from that one. But then again, they do have top men for covering things up." I said as I considered it.

"How many people died?" Aegis asked.

"Something like 3.4 million. But things like that happen when you are dealing with Nazis, Nazi Vampires, out of control crusaders, and a certain master vampire who was told to go for a walk." I replied with a shrug. That reminded me, I needed to give Seras a call and see how she was doing.

Author's Note

Yup. I went there. Not sure if the Crimson Fucker will show up, but you never know.
