“Hey, Soundwave what you doing a week from now?” Charming Kight asked calling Light on his phone.
“Um.. probably sit at home, why you ask?” Light asked not even given the chance to say hello.
“Well, I might have a fun idea so just hear me out.”
“Oh no.. what is this idea. It isn’t like the time we let timberwolves into the Kingdom is it?”
“Haha, I loved that! But no it has nothing to do with timberwolves.”
“Then what do you have planned with the kingdom?”
“Gah..why do you keep asking me questions?”
“You haven't told me what you are planning to do!”
“Well with that tone of voice I might take Carmen.”
“You are being a damn foal.”
“That may be but at least I'm fun.”
“You’re a dumbass and you know it.”
“Ohh this is why we are friends.”
“Now tell me your plan a week from now.”
“Ok, so you remember the time we heard the princess talking about some mirror that I can’t remember the name of?”
“Do you mean the Crystal mirror?”
“Yes! That one now here is my plan.. we sneak in when I know some guards that will let us in for a small price.”
“You do know if you try to bribe the wrong guard they will arrest you?”
“Shut up don't ruin this for me, IF I find the right guard to let us in we go see..that..mirror.”
“..Crystal mirror.”
“I said shut up! Now the Crystal mirror should be unguarded.”
“How do you know it will be unguarded..”
“......”
“Sorry I'll shut up”
“I hate you sometimes..anyways when the mirror is left we sneak in and see what the fuss is about.”
“You can just ask the princess about the mirror and she will tell you Charming”
“I am really getting tired of you interrupting me..when we get to the mirror we are going to take a few pictures then we will see what will happen when we look into it.”
“It seems like a fool-proof plan now what are you gonna tell Carmen when you disappear for a night?”
“I might have to take her with us..but if I find another way I'll let you know.”
“Alright, so what do we do now.”
“We get the supplies to break in dumbass.”
“I thought you were gonna bribe a guard?”
“Silly silly Light that is when we get caught.”
“Alright, so what do we need then.”
“Well if you could fly this would be easier but we need some rope, explosives, and some night vision goggles”
“Or how about you could just teleport us in with your magic.”
“That sounds complicated my idea sounds more simple.”
“Hmm..no just learn the teleport spell and we will get in I'll get the bits for when we get caught.
“Ok sounds like a plan..wait we will need masks.”
“For what if we get caught wearing a mask we will be shot on site.”
“Oh yea..so no mask”
“No mask charming.”
“Ok so let's get this done it will be so fun!”
“Meet me in the town square in a few minutes”
“Why in a few minutes?”
“So I can give you the bits”
“You hold onto them”
“Um alright but we still need to meet so we can talk about this”
“Ugh fine just let me tell carmen”
“Not what we are doing we are getting the supplies tonight”
“Oh shit really”
“Yea it seems like fun,” Light said hanging up the phone. The two friends grabbed their backpacks and rushed out the door but charming had to beg his mistress so she would let him go this late at night. It wasn’t that long before Charming ran into the town square looking for Light
“Light! Where are you hoe!” Charming yelled out looking around for him until a book hit him in the nose.
“Do you ever be quiet?” Light said walking to charming
“Only when you are not here… What's this?” Charming asked looking at the book.
“That is a magic book, th-”
“Will it grant me wishes!”
“Oh Celestia if we pull this off you need to invest in better guards,” Light said with a sigh
“What is that supposed to mean”
“It means you need to be quiet so we can pull this off”
“Ok., fine, tell me what the book is for then”
“Do you ever listen? it is for you to learn the teleportation spell”
“Awe I already got the rope” Charming said pulling rope out of his bag
“W..where did you get rope this late at night”
“Out of my ass, only for you senpai,” Charming said with a chuckle.
“Ok that is something I wish to not know”
“So what now silly filly”
“You do know that is not an insult right?” Light asked pulling a pen and paper from his bag.
“I only say it because you don’t like it”
“Yea I know..”
“...silly filly”
“I fucking hate you,” Light said as charming was keeping himself from laughing. Light started to write on the paper a few names so they could get the bits together.
“You know we could get this done earlier than a week,” Light said giving the list to charming who looked over it.
“Yea we could, what are the names for”
“These are people who need help finding their pets like cats and dogs”
“I am not finding anyone's pet for small amounts of bits”
“Charming these are the ponies who pay a high price for the pets, we find them and we will be done in a few days and if we rush we could be done in a matter of hours,” Light said stretching.
“Why couldn’t you tell me the list over the phone” Crimson asked putting the list in his bag.
“I had to find the ones who pay high for their pets and I wanted you to help me find the first one tonight since it is a bat
“Bat you say?” Charming said with a smile on his face
“You kill the bat I will hurt you”
“You take all the fun out of things”
“It's to keep you from doing stupid things”
“Wait, how are we supposed to find a single bat out here when they are all out and look the same,” Charming said looking into the sky
“Well this bat has a red ribbon around his neck with a chipped ear”
“Ok that sounds easy so where do we start”
“We? Oh no you got this one buddy” Light said starting to walk away.
“Huh, why do I have to do this” Charming asked as light turned to him.
“You are better at night you can attract them to you, don’t worry I'll be looking for an animal as well tonight.” Light said walking off
“Ok, see you tomorrow then,” Charming said as he went on his way looking for the bat. The next morning Light walked back to the town square to find Charming asleep on the fountain. Light walked over to him and pushed him in the fountain which in turn made charming gasp and jump out of the water with a hiss.
“What the hell was that charming” Light asked as he never heard a pony hiss before.
“It's called a hiss you ass,” Charming said as he stepped out of the fountain shaking the water off himself.
“Did you get the bat”
“Yea,” Charming said pulling the bat from his bag.
“Why did you put the bat in your bag”
“Because I didn’t have a cage light”
“Ok fine let’s go give the pets back to their owners,” Light said as he walked to the owner of the bat who was very grateful to have her pet returned. They were paid a great amount for a bat as Light already got paid for his pet he returned. Both of them went around looking for pets and returning them for bits. It only really took them half a day to do all the names on the list Light made. Charming smiled counting the bits as Light tapped Charming’s head with the book on teleporting. Back at Light’s home Charming trained hard on teleporting an apple from Light’s hoof onto the ground
“It isn’t that hard Charming” Light said holding the apple.
“Y-you do it then,” Charming said struggling to cast the teleportation.
“You do know the bad side of teleportation spell right”
“Yes, if done wrong it could lead to the wrong place or even death for the caster or anypony he is doing it with.”
“Wow, that has to be the most intelligent thing you ever said to me,” Light said with a smile.
“S-shut up,” Charming said. After a few hours, Charming was able to cast the teleportation but the apple was torn to pieces.
“Okay getting there Charming at least you teleported the apple now get it from my hoof to the ground without it being, you know, dead” Light said getting another apple from his bag.
“Ok, ok I got this” Charming said getting ready to do it again. With practice, Charming teleported a few apples on the ground with rapid succession and Light was going to let Charming teleport him inside his house. Light closed his eyes waiting for Charming to teleport him and with a flash of red Light was teleported in the house with no injury. Light walked back out and Charming smiled as they knew they were ready to sneak into the kingdom. Which they agreed to do tomorrow while Princess Luna was raising the moon. They went inside to plan it out how they were gonna do the whole thing
“First off how are we gonna get close to the wall, I heard about the guard patrols around the castle walls,” Charming asked sitting at the dining table as Light slid a Picture to him.
“One guard will not be there tomorrow night and his spot will be left open so we will be able to get close to the wall for a teleport” Light said sitting down at the table.
“Hm, wait since I know the teleportation spell could I just teleport us into the mirror’s room from here”
“Um no, since you just learned the spell I would not trust you to teleport long distances”
“Oh true”
“So just a simple distance through the wall then we can walk”
“What about guard patrols inside the walls,” Crimson asked putting the paper in his bag.
“Ok, I have a source that let me memorize the guard patrols all the way to the mirror’s room,” Light said drawing out a plan on the table.
“Sources? Ok Light I take back every mean thing I said to you, ever”
“Ok nice so first things first teleport through the wall, a little bit more practice will not kill you and maybe save our lives when the time comes,” Light said drawing it on the plan.
“Ok so after the teleport what do we do besides walk to the mirror,” Charming asked paying close attention
“Second the place we are teleporting into will land us into a bush, we will wait there for two minutes or if we are off schedule until the guard walks past us and hope he didn’t hear us land in the bush”
“Hope? Why not just teleport when he passes”
“Because there are watch towers that will be covering their backs which means we will only have fifteen seconds to run in”
“...When did you get into stealth like this Light”
“You know when you play Splinter Cell for a few days in a row it takes over,” Light said with a smile.
“Oh ok so after we get into the castle what happens then,” Charming asked
“After we get inside the castle it will be a matter of luck because they watch everywhere constantly, that's why we will walk in through the front door”
“So they can all see us and arrest us,” Charming said thinking Light was joking.
“Hey you're into assassin's creed, hide in plain sight right” Light said his smile bigger.
“Um, Light you know that is just a game right,” Charming said now concerned
“Yea I know, it's so stupid they won't think of it”
“Light why are you like this”
“I'm wanted in four places for robbery!” Light yelled covering his mouth.
“Your what” Charming chuckled watching light
“Nothing forget about it if they are not as smart as I think they are we might be able to walk right in”
“What if they stop us,” Charming asked watching Light as he started to dig through his bag
“That is when we show them these” Light said sliding fake lunar guard passes to Charming
“They will know these are fake Light”
“On the contrary, Celestia's guards do not know how the lunar passes look so they will let us go”
“Are you sure”
“Yes I'm sure even so they are a backup and if they do stop us flash the pass quickly and say we are in a hurry”
“Um alright,” Charming said putting his pass into his bag.
“That should be everything if we run into anything else that I didn’t cover we improvise,” Light said putting his pass back into his bag
“I guess I'll bring the camera for pictures of the mirror” Charming said standing up from the table.
“Ok so what about Carmin will she be joining us,” Light said getting up from the table as well
“Um I don’t think this time, it will be a friends night out just me and you”
“Oh how sweet I'll pack the lunch”
“Really! Oh this is better than I thought”
“...Charming it was a joke”
“Awe come on you got me excited,” Charming said pouting.
“...every day with you is a punch to the dick Charming” Light said rubbing his head annoyed.
“is that an offer” Charming said as they both went into the living room to hang out before Charming had to go home. As night fell across the town Charming said goodbye to light as he left for home but Light was going over the plan again before he went to bed so they won’t fail there task. As Light went over the plan one last time he walked around to pass the time before he knew it he fell asleep on his sofa.
