Dawn Of A New Empire

The blood flowed through her body like fire her eyes glowing pure red she had never felt anger like that but at the same time pure energy and power she wanted to channel it. She landed in a empty field and tried to channel this new power to her horn and aimed it at a tree. The spell she cast was pure red a huge glowing red ball brighter than the sun that went flying into the tree turning it instantly into ashes. She stood there jaw dropped staring at the smouldering wreck that once was a tree, she smiled an evil smile.

She wanted to try another spell that she had learnt but before she could pegasi came shooting down out of the sky landing all around her.  She looked at them they were wearing half moon crescents that could only mean one thing but before she could think it she came swooping down and landed right in front of her.

“P-P-P-Princess Luna”.

”Hello Thunder Hooves ive been watching you and might I say you have so much potential your skills for magic are unmatched I come to you with a proposal. I see you have joined our ranks but a pony like you with so much skill doesn’t belong on the battlefield, she belongs to lead it. That’s why im appointing you to be my personal apprentice, I will teach you all there is to know about magic and all the spells you will need in the battles you will fight and you will join the ranks of my elite Shadow Ops"

"see you at the recruitment office tomorrow, that's only if your interested!"

She had heard of the Shadow Ops they were the best of the best they where feared by everypony including the Luna Republic.

She walked in to the recruitment office the next day and there they were the Shadow Ops standing in all their glory. They walked over to Thunder and one of them spoke to her.

"You must be Thunder Hooves" the mare pony said

"My name is Captain Shadow Stealth and this is Lieutenant Fire Blaze welcome to the meanest group in all of Equestria"

Shadow Stealth was a pure black earth pony with white markings the same as Thunder Hooves. While Fire Blaze was a gray alicorn with black markings like Thunder Hooves but had pure green eyes and a mane that looked like a blazing fire.

Shadow turns to Thunder "as you have joined us i see fit that you are promoted to Lance Corporal congrats Thunder"

Thunder stands gobsmacked "Lance Corporal Thunder Hooves...i like that"
