It has been years ever since Taylor and Princess Luna had married. They lived their lives happily together. Luna never having to worry about finding herself another male for all eternity, because she was reunited with her to-be husband when she was younger. Though in human form now she did not love him any less. Yes, things were going well. Taylor had never been more happy in his life than he was with her.

But then, things took a turn for the worst...

In an effort to save Luna and all of his friends, Taylor did something he did not want to do, but felt like he had no choice. He sacrificed his own life in order to save theirs. But in that moment when he was laying there in nothing but darkness, a light appeared. He was reborn as...a mixture of a pegasus pony and human. an athromorphic pony to be exact.

New with this new form and his old name returned to him. Shadow Strike Will go through his life once more. With the clock turned back before everything had happened, and slowly regain his memories with each year he grows older. Will he be able to fix what is to come again before it gets out of control? And more importantly, will he reunite with Luna once more? They say that love can transcend death. Will it happen again for a third time?
