Princess Twilight Elise Sparkle is dead, slain in her sleep by Traditionalists who were too afraid to accept the radical changes she’d proposed to Equestria, such as allowing the common folk to have a say in the government, to have the power and influence the nobles had for centuries be sripped away, to have Equestria’s magical lifestyle be replaced with a more technological one, and to allow couples of two different species to get married.

But now, it’s the Traditionalists who are dying. Stab wounds through the chest, slit throats hot in the heart, and some even going berserk before dying from poison. All anyone can make of the killer is that he appears to be a male wearing a white armored robe with a hood that conceals his face, thus earning him the nicknames “The White Hood,” “The Hood Guy,” and even “The White Death.” Only a select few, including the Princesses and surviving Elements of Harmony, in particular Princess Luna, know his true identity. His name is Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

And to him, nothing is true, everything is permitted. Justice shall flow in crimson rivers.
