Michael Thorson is a promising young physicist working in the experimental transportation department at Black Moon Laboratories. One day he makes a fateful decision to start on a new exploration project that opens a gateway to a strange world rich in many kinds of valuable materials. Black Moon immediately attempts conquer this place and seize the precious materials, but Michael has developed a sense of belonging in this new land.
