The octoling asked with an evil smile. "I'm dying, so what do you think," James growl. "Careful language like that may hurt you,"  the octoling said walking toward James with a taser. He was about to taze James, when James gave octoling a headbutt ,knocking her to the floor.  With his feet he then grabbed her keys and tossed them up to his mouth. He then unlocked the restraints that han held him in for two months.  He then walked over and grabbed his blue jacket.  It was a bit torn, but next best thing than what he was currently wearing.  It also carried his phone, and several other items.  He then grabbed his M40, and makrov.  He then opened the door slowly, and made his way outside.  Making sure to avoid detection he quietly slipped outside of the base.  After he was a safe distance away from the base, he took a look at his surrounding's.  He saw a city in the distance.  Thinking he might find some human civilization, he begins walking towards the city. Brinda woke up that morning thinking about her sister.  She had only moved to inkopolis three months ago, and still couldn't get her out of her mind.  After her sister had been splatted, she became tired of waking up in a house where she wasn't there, so she decided to move to inkopolis, and get a fresh start.  After getting up and putting on her squid girl she left the apartment.  She then went to Sheldon's shop. "Hello brinda, what can I do for you today, perhaps a inkbrush, or an areo spray,". Sheldon said. " Not today, I need a repair, my E-liter is jammed and I can't seem to fix it myself," Brinda said. "I remember making this e-liter, it's in mint condition, it seems that your ink line is clogged, I can fix it for you free of charge," Sheldon said. "No way,thanks sheldon!" Brinda exclaimed. "I'll have it done in half an hour," Sheldon said. Brinda then went over to the cafe under the news studio for some breakfast.  The waiter recognized her and waved her over to her normal table.  Brinda then ordered what she always had which was eggs on toast.  She then got out her phone and got on squidtube, and watched some videos.  During breakfast a news reports came on, starring the squid sisters. "Morning everybody, but before we get to the map rotation, we have a surprise from up high," Callie said. "Oh, its splatfest isn't it," Marie said. "Yes, and we are currently getting the sides right now," Callie said. "What is it, tell me tell me tell ME!" Marie exclaimed. "And the sides are... marsh mellows vs Hotdogs," Callie said. "Don't forget to come pick a side down at the box," Marie said "and now for today's map rotations," The turf war maps were salt spray rig, and port mackerel. "Looks like its turf wars for me," Brinda said. She left the 400 G for her meal and went back to Sheldon's shop.  After picking up Herr E-Liter and once again thanking Sheldon she ran over to the lobby to get in a match. "You're just in time, I have one available spot for a match, just hurry as it is about to start," said the squid running the lobby. Brenda thanked him and then ran to the lobby.  She jumped away, and her tenticals changed from icy blue to minty green. "An, E-Liter?" One of her other teammates said. "Dude we got this in the bag," Another one said. "Guys still be on gaurd, just because we have a sniper doesn't mean that we automatically win," the last one said. "He is right there is only so much I can do," Brinda said while shouldering her E-Liter.  The stage was salt spray rig once the speakers said go she rushed out into battle. 5 minutes earlier James had now gotten very close to the city, and was heading to what looked to be a decommissioned oil rig.  Hoping he would find some help he got down there, but there was nobody around.  He kept walking hoping he would find someone but had no luck.  Suddenly these speakers out of know here shouted out GO. "What the crap?!" James said startled.  He wondered what the crap that speaker was doing here, and why it shouted go.  He didn't have much time to think about it, because several things came flying over the edge.  They landed in front of him, and he raised his weapon at them.  They saw him and stopped dead in third track.  They had same basic features as him, but they had fangs, and had something weird where there hair should be.  Their weapons were also the strangest looking thing he had ever seen.  One then surprised him by shooting his weapon at him.  He felt somewhat pained by the shots, most likely by the octarians.  These creatures would probably capture him and experiment on him to he thought.  He then surprised the creature by shooting his gun, at it.  It died instantly.  The other two looked surprised and began shooting at James.  James just pulled up his gun and kept on shooting them as fast as he could.  They kept dying but the same ones some how kept on coming back for him, and he now had 8 of these things coming at him.  The creatures then took a moment he was confused and got in close tio him.  He looked for a way out if here, and could only see one possible solution.  He would run to the end of the dock, and jump off and then swim to the shore.  He picked his gear up and just ran.  The creatures began to follow him to the edge.  He kept on running and just jumped off the edge. "Good thing this jacket is water proof," James thought to himself.  He did a dive into the water and swam as fast as he could to the shore. Brinda was standing at the edge of the salt spray rig dock, thinking about the impossible. "All right, I know we are all thinking the same thing, WHAT THE CRAP WAS THAT THING," A green team member yelled. "We better follow him, he could be really dangourous to everybody else," Another one said. "Umm, exactly how can we follow him?  He just jumped into water, and did not die, which none of us can do and survive." Brinda said. "Isn't that him right there on the shore," one inkling said pointing to the shore.  They saw him climbing out of the water.  He turned around and gave them two middle fingers.  He then began running. "Let's get him guys,c'mon," Brinda said.  They all then super jumped over to the shore and started running after him. "Can't you just, go away?" James yelled at the inklings that were chasing him. "Get back here," he heard one yell.  James just kept running, pushing people out of his way.  They were pretty fast, but not fast enough to catch up to him.  That is, until he hit a dead end.  In front of him was a giant tower, that led to know where. "That's it we have him cornered guys," He heard one say. James thought fast "I cant go left, right, or down, so my only option is...up," James said looking at the tower.  With no where else to go, he began to climb the tower.  He was about a quarter of the way up when he decided to look down.  Every "creature" in the plaza was now looking at him.  He then looked back and kept on climbing the tower. "IS HE INSANE!" Brinda yelled "Only trained inklings can climb that tower, and they wear safety harnesses," They just watched in amazement as the creature climbed the tower.  He eventually got to a section were he would have to jump from one bar up to another. "He is not considering doing that jump, right?" One inkling said.  The creature then jumped up to the next bar, and kept going.  He then attempted to jump for the next one, but his fingers missed the bar, and he began to fall to his death. "HE IS FALLING," Brinda screamed. "DAMMIT!" James thought in his head as he fell.  He had about 60 feet between him and the pavement.  He quickly reposited himself, and managed to grab a bar with his right hand.  He looked down at all the screaming creatures.  He then got his other hand back on the bar, and once again climbed up the tower this time reaching the top, he climbed up onto the top, and looked out among the horizon. "That was scary," Brinda thought to herself.  Watching that thing fall, but somehow. Suddenly the news screen flashed with a news alert. "This just in inklings, the great zapfish has been stolen, a second TIME!" Callie said. All the inklings proceeded to look at inkopolis tower, being to busy watching the strange creature to notice it was missing.  There was a moment of calm,before it turned to shear panic. "Don't worry, as we still have backup power to use," Marie said. "And the other breaking news, WHAT IS THE CREATURE CLIMBING THE TOWER?!" Callie screamed. "Kids, don't assume that this creature had anything to do with the great zapfish disappearance, we will update you as the news comes,". Marie said. " and in the mean time, STAY FRESH!," Both of the squid sisters said.  The TV then turned to something different from the news station. As if the inklings weren't paniced enough already, now the great zapfish was gone. James was standing on top of the tower, looking at the crowd below him, which was very big in number. He kept staring at the crowd, until he heard a pair of footsteps behind him.  He quickly turned around and saw two of the creatures.  One was wearing a beanie and some sunglasses, and the other was wearing a surgeon mask. "What do you want," James asked them. "We need you to comes with us," The one with the sunglasses said. "Can't do that," James said. "Too bad," the one with the surgeon mask said, before shooting him with a tranquilizer dart. James took a few swings at them before falling. "I'll grab him," Agent one said, and she then picked up the boy, and they then super jumped off to the base.
