In their day, the dinosaurs were the masters of their world with a reign that’d lasted for over 165 million years. But yet of all the variety of these animals in nearly every shape and size, this is the story of four prehistoric pals that would end up on the adventure of a life time. These friends are named, Parker the Parksosaurus.... https://camo.derpicdn.net/b2d1b4f8ac641887f5c7668a5df930c539e560ae?url=https%3A%2F%2Fvignette3.wikia.nocookie.net%2Fwalkingwith%2Fimages%2Ff%2Ffa%2FLarge-ornitopod.png%2Frevision%2Flatest%3Fcb%3D20131014172747 Teryx the Avisaurus.... https://camo.derpicdn.net/350aa9f2359732fd6fb4ba6f6c765c12d96f5d59?url=https%3A%2F%2Fvignette3.wikia.nocookie.net%2Fdtrain%2Fimages%2F7%2F7f%2FAvisaurus.png%2Frevision%2Flatest%3Fcb%3D20120607205003 Boulder the Leptoceratops... https://camo.derpicdn.net/052a3815df4d33ba3168a73f405fc58a33010afe?url=http%3A%2F%2Fimg00.deviantart.net%2Fb25c%2Fi%2F2014%2F036%2F0%2F9%2Fjurassic_park_leptoceratops_gracillis_by_hellraptor-d26y8rh.jpg and Dusk the Troodon. https://camo.derpicdn.net/acfb61aa4c7d553152f7b526f61cfa94a295d411?url=https%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fcommons%2F8%2F88%2FTroodon_EF.jpg Now the four friends were relaxing at their favorite pond, wondering on what the four of them should do during such a seemingly quiet afternoon. “Say guys,” wondered Parker. “Any idea of what we should actually do?” “Well whatever we do,” replied Teryx. “I just hope we don’t end up getting stuck in tree resin like last time, the gooey stuff made me bald before it was even time for me to molt!” “Don’t worry Teryx,” Boulder assured. “Scaly skin is quite natural for most Dinosaurs.” “Geeze thanks for reassurance,” Teryx said with sarcasm. “Anyway what should we do anyway?” “Well I’ve heard that the cycad fruit is sprouting at this time of year,” Dusk suggested to the group. “We could go over and collect some for a snack later in the evening.” “Hmmm Cycad fruit,” Boulder watered eagerly. Well it seemed that Boulder and Dusk were in agreement on the idea, as for Teryx he would’ve tag along for knowing that his favorite insects could be buzzing around the same area. Parker on the other hand was still in deep thought when his friends took notice, wondering on what the little parksosaurus was thinking. “Hey Parker are you okay?” wondered Dusk. “Yeah you’ve been standing there in deep thought as long as a dome headed dinosaur in a daze,” Teryx agreed. “Oh I’m fine everyone,” Parker assured his friends. “I was just thinking of something, I mean have you ever wanted to do something more than just trying to kill some time?” “You can do that?!” Boulder asked in confused shock. “That’s not what Parker means Boulder,” Teryx sigh at the Leptoceratops’ obtuse nature. “Anyway our bipedal herbivorous friend, what are you trying to day?” “Well I’m sure it’s not too important,” Parker explained. “But sometimes I just wished for once, something fantastical could happen to us at least for once in our entire lives. “Uh Parker,” Dusk said gulping down something nervously. “I think you should be careful on what you wish for.” “How come Dusk?” Parker asked his Troodon friend. It was then Dusk pointed out something to the three other Dinosaurs, something that place them in total shock. High up in the sky, a meteor (referred to as a Star Stone by the dinosaurs) was coming down upon the Urth. The four friends were astonished as the said Meteor began to emit some form of rainbow display as it plummeted on the dazed and confused inhabitants of the prehistoric world. “Oh say,” said Boulder in amazement. “I’ve never knew star stones can do that.” “That’s because they don’t,” Teryx replied nervously. “Now if you’ll excuse me…” Teryx proceeded to fly away from the rainbow meteor as fast as he could, Parker, Boulder and Dusk saw this and proceeded to follow the panicked Avisaurus to see what was the matter. What they all didn’t know was the Meteor meant only one thing, within moments it would be the end of an Era…the reign of the Dinosaurs would come to a close for once the Meteor struck the planet… BOOM!!!! With that boom, the Urth started to shake and a cloud of vaporize rock began to blanket it. Many different Dinosaurs and other creatures practically ran for the hills, attempting to escape the cosmic destruction as this prehistoric Armageddon is upon them. Parker, Boulder and Dusk had finally reached Teryx, whom soon notice his friends following him. “Took you guys long enough,” said Teryx. “It’s a good thing we did,” replied Parker. “But I hope we can shelter and fast, otherwise we’re sitting mammals!!!” “Say guys why don’t we hide in there?” Boulder suggested pointing to a mysterious looking cave. “I can’t believe it,” Teryx said in astonishment. “The bone head actually thought of something helpful.” “Thank you Teryx,” Boulder chuckled. “Well I guess it is worth a shot,” Dusk agreed. “And it could be the only shot we have,” said Parker. With their chosen hiding place settled, Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk rushed into the cave as fast as they could. Within the cavern the dinosaurs hid within the cavern, someplace far enough away from the dust and debris that was engulfing their Prehistoric world. As the effect of the impact flew over the cave however, it caused a mysterious rainbow colored glow around it. Clearly the prehistoric pals weren’t aware of what was happening as they hid within the caverns for as the aura flowed around the cave, time and space accelerated around it. At least forward across at least 66 million years at least, as many different changes in the vegetation, climate and even the surface of the planet moved and shifted until finally it stopped all entirely into its current time period at the Holocene epoch. Equestria year 1008 of Celestia’s reign: The age of the Ponies Deep within the caverns, the four dinosaurs unaware of the change in time soon notice something peculiar going. “Say guys did you hear that?” Parker wondered. “I don’t know,” replied Boulder. “I can’t hear anything.” “Neither can I,” agreed Dusk. “Exactly everyone,” replied Parker. “I think whatever was happening is over.” “Well I hope so,” said Teryx. “Though what that rainbow Star stone did, I hope it didn’t destroy the area we live in.” “Well there’s only one surefire way to find out guys,” said Parker. “We have to go out there and check it out…just to be safe that is.” “Well alright,” Teryx replied nervously. “Let just hope no predators waiting for us outside when we get out there.” So the four Dinosaurs walked up to the opening of the cave, as they did so they were in for a big surprise…Outside the cave, the Dinos were astonished with variety of plant life. While there were still the ferns and conifers they were familiar with, but also there were plant life that would be considered foreign a Dinosaur living within the area Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk resided such as grass and new variety of trees and flowers which awe and astonished the gang quite so. “What did yeah know,” Teryx chuckled. “Instead of destruction, that star stone gave us a new decorum.” “Indeed Teryx,” agreed Dusk. “Generally grass is more common within the Gondwanaland regions of the Urth such as the Indian subcontinent for example.” “Well however grass got here in Laramidia…” said Parker. “Let’s just hope our valley home is alright.” “Well if it is,” said Boulder. “I sure can’t wait to try out the new food that sprouted there.” Boulder’s mouth began to water with the fought of the type of vegetation he’ll want to try, his friends looked on slight amusement at their ceratopsian friend’s antics. “Well what are we waiting for?” Teryx suggested. “Let’s get going and check it out.” “Alright then guys,” said Parker. “Let us Dinos roll!” Filled with enthusiasm Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk headed over into this brave new world, not knowing what’ll happen next as their adventure Urth… now referred to as Equestria has in store for the prehistoric pals. To be continued… //-------------------------------------------------------// Primordial Friendship Part 1. //-------------------------------------------------------// Primordial Friendship Part 1. My Little Dinosaurs: Primordial Friendship Primordial Friendship part 1 Equestria year 1008 of Celestia’s Reign Throughout the day Parker the Parksosaurus, Teryx the Avisaurus, Boulder the Leptoceratops and Dusk the Troodon continued to explore this strange new world, and so far they were still impressed at what they saw. “I’m going to say it again,” said Teryx. “I love the change in background.” “Indeed we do,” agreed Dusk. “Though I still wondered how it as able to change so rapidly?” “We’ll find out soon enough,” Parker assured the Troodon. “Hopefully if we’re patient enough, the answer will come to us.” “When do we get to eat?” Boulder wondered. Parker, Teryx and Dusk could only look at Boulder in bemusement, but shrug it off as they continued exploring the forested area. However as they kept on walking, something unexpected would get their attention. Not too far away from the Dinos, a harmonious humming could be heard surprising the gang quite so. “What in the Mesozoic is that?” Teryx wondered. “Well whatever it is,” said Boulder. “Sounds pretty, like a little song bird.” “It seems to originate from that area,” Dusk pointed to an opening in the forest. Everyone continued to listen to the harmonious music going, much so that it peeked Parker’s interest. “You know guys if there’s music…” Parker suggested. “There could be a dinosaur not too far away or at least a creature capable of speaking the Saurian language.” “Well I hope so,” said Teryx. “Because if it’s a female song bird…I might get myself a hot date.” “Well you probably shouldn’t get your hopes up Teryx,” Parker chuckled while Teryx simply shook off the sarcastic comment. “Either way we should at least check it out just to be sure.” “Good suggestion Parker,” said Dusk. “Chances are they could know of what could’ve caused the change to our valley.” “Then do we get to eat?” Boulder wondered hungrily once more. “Huh yes after we meet the creature we’ll get to eat,” replied an slightly annoyed Teryx. “Alright then,” Parker grinned. “Let’s get going!” So the four dinosaurs followed the source of the singing out of the forest, and the closer they got the louder the singing could be heard. The four Dinosaurs peeked through the bushes and as they did, they saw to their shock not a dinosaur but a creature they’ve clearly never seen before. She is a small equine creature with butter cream fur and a pink mane with tail to match. She had what looked like Butterfly shaped markings on her flank, but what truly shocked the Dinos was that she had a pair of wings. “This can’t be,” Dusk whispered in surprise. “No vertebrate animal that’d ever lived on land had six limbs.” “What if she’s actually some over grown bug that looks like an over grown mammal,” Teryx suggested. “Well it doesn’t matter now guys,” Parker whispered to the gang. “Though we should probably lay low until we’re certain that she is friendly.” “Fine,” Teryx whispery sigh. “But if there’s some funny business going on, we’re out of here deal.” “Deal,” Parker whispered replied to the Cretaceous bird. As the Dinos continued watching what is going on, the butter creamed creature was greeted by what appear to be some birds much to the dinosaurs relief that at least some dinosaurs managed to survive the meteor impact (remember readers, Brids are in fact living members of the Dinosaur group). The birds greeted the creature and as she saw them she greeted them back. “Oh, good morning, little friends. Your singing is oh-so pretty,” said the creature complimenting her feathered friends. The birds tweeted back as the creature gave a slight giggle with joy, then she spoke again…. “Yes, it is a very beautiful day today. Certainly something worth singing about,” She replied to the birds comment. The dinosaurs kept on watching at how gentle the creature was with the birds, then they notice how see attended to the local creatures around here. Many of which none of which the Dinos were familiar with what so ever, then without missing a cue the creature started to sing. "Music in the Treetops" There's music in the treetops And there's music in the vale And all around the music fills the sky There's music by the river And there's music in the grass And the music makes your heart soar in reply… The creature continued to vocalize her beautiful voice, leaving the Dinosaurs awe struck at her musical talent. However as she finished her song, Boulder impulsively made a compliment out loud much to his friends dismay. “Nice set of pipes!” said Boulder enthusiastically. “BOULDER!!!!” The said out loud as they chided the Leptoceratops. This caught the creature’s attention as she jumped in shock, at the fact something other than her creature friends were listening to her song. “EEEP!” She said as she jumped in surprise. Now she didn’t notice the Dinosaurs within the bushes, but hearing the voice of a creature that spoke her tongue was just enough to make her rushed back inside her cottage. “What happened?” Boulder wondered in confusion. “Way to go bone head you scared her!” Teryx scolded his friend. “Well technically we’ve all scared her a little,” Dusk corrected the Avisaurus. “Dusk has a point Teryx,” agreed Parker. “I guess we owe it to her by apologizing for our eavesdropping.” “Alright let’s get this over with,” Teryx sigh. Teryx decided to fly over to the cottage and knocked on the door, as he did he could hear nervous trotting from the inside. As the creature peeked through the door, her shy blue eyes looked around wondering knocked on her door. “Hello,” The creature said nervously. She looked around until she noticed Teryx standing in front of her, now due to being an Avisaurus Teryx could hardly reach her knee but he got enough attention from her to speak up. “Uh excuse me Miss,” Teryx started “We’re sorry if we startled you but…” Just before Teryx could usher another world however, the creature quickly grabbed the Proto-bird and closed the door instantly much to the other Dinosaurs bemusement. “I wonder what was that all about?” wondered Dusk. “Well we might as well try and get Teryx out of that modified den,” said Parker. “And hopefully calm that creature long enough for her to understand.” The three Dinos went up to the cottage, and peeked through the door watching what was going on. Inside Teryx was placed on a couch wrapped in a blanket as the creature flew around to grab some medical equipment, with concern on her look she attempted to help Teryx. “Please don’t threat little,” the creature assured the confused Avisaurus. “I’ll get you all better soon enough.” “Huh,” Teryx asked in confusion as a thermometer was place in his mouth. “Well okay it seems your temperature’s normal,” said the still concern creature. “But we’ll get to the bottom of what happened to…” Before the creature could finish, Teryx spat out the thermometer and got out of the blanket to speak. “Hey I’m not sick lady!” Teryx complained. “And you have no right to grab me against my will like that okay?!” Now the creature stood there in confusion, not just at how Teryx talked back at her…but the fact that he was speaking her language to begin with. “Did…di you just talked?” Ask the creature in confusion. “Of course I did,” replied Teryx. “And as I was saying, I am perfectly fine until you grabbed me!” “Oh I am so sorry there,” apologized the creature. “It just I have never seen a bird with teeth and wings with finger, and I just thought you weren’t well.” “That’s because I am an Avisaurus,” replied an agitated Teryx. “We’re supposed to look like this!” “Avi-saurus?” The creature asked trying to pronounce the name. Just as the creature said it, Parker, Boulder and Dusk felt that it was time to reveal themselves to the creature and walked in. “You’ll have to forgive Teryx miss,” Parker spoke out getting the creature’s attention. “He tends to snap whenever he’s under a lot of stress.” As the creature looked upon the three other dinosaurs, she froze instantly for she couldn’t understand what is happening around her. There was a bit of an awkward silence between the Dinosaurs, and the creature when Dusk decided to introduce himself. “Uh greetings six limbed mammal,” Dusk nervously. “My name is Dusk….and I am a Troodon.” “Uh,” was all the creature could say for a moment when Boulder spoke next? “I’m Boulder,” he happily greeted. “My kind are called Leptoceratops, and I just loved your singing right there.” “And you can call me Parker,” parker finished. “Now I am a Parksosaurus as you can see, but would it be alright if you could tell was who you are please?” At first the creature hesitated, but then getting enough courage she spoke up her name hesitantly but at least it was loud enough for the Dinos to hear. “Uh…I guess my name’s Fluttershy,” replied the creature. “But right now I’m not so sure.” “How come?” Boulder wondered. “Well it’s clear you’ve never seen creatures like us before am I correct?” Dusk asked Fluttershy. “Uh huh,” Fluttershy nodded. “So what are you four? If that’s not too much trouble that is.” “We’re Dinosaurs what does it look like?” Teryx asked Fluttershy. “Dinosaurs?” Fluttershy asked in confusion. “I don’t think I have ever heard of creatures such as Dinosaurs before.” “Well it’s quite alright,” Parker assured Fluttershy. “To be honest we have seen a creature like you before either, so what are you anyway. “Oh that’s easy to answer,” replied Fluttershy. “I am a pony or a Pegasus pony if you prefer.” “Pony sounds good with us Miss Fluttershy,” Dusk assured the shy Pegasus. “Oh you can just call me Fluttershy,” the pony giggled. “Anyway I guess now that you’re here, would you four like to stay for a bit? If it’s not any trouble but I’ve never anything like dinosaurs and just love learning about new animals.” “I don’t see why not,” replied Parker. “Besides we would love to learn about these new surroundings,” “And the changes in the animal life,” Dusk added. “And hopefully we can get something to eat,” Boulder said as his stomach growled. “I’m still very hungry.” Dinosaurs and Fluttershy simply chuckled at this, so the shy pony went over to prepare some snacks for her new guess. “Well she seems to be very nice,” said Dusk. “Yeah I have to admit in spite of what happened earlier,” Teryx added. “It’s not like it will get worse right?” As if the universe wanted to play a nasty trick on the four Dinos and their new pony friend, something else was stirring within the Everfree forest. For now all could be seen was the silhouette of what looked like a gigantic theropod dinosaur, seemingly sniffing and searching for something. As it quickly left the area, it left behind several familiar footprints before giving out a tremendous and terrifying roar indicating that the king of the cretaceous has arrived on Equestria’s door steps. To be continued… //-------------------------------------------------------// Primordial Friendship Part 2. //-------------------------------------------------------// Primordial Friendship Part 2. My Little Dinosaurs: Primordial Friendship Primordial Friendship part 2 Equestria year 1008 of Celestia’s Reign As Fluttershy prepared some food for her prehistoric guess, the four dinosaurs settled in around a table. While neither Parker, Teryx, Boulder or Dusk are familiar with furniture, they at least figured out that a couch was something to sit on after seeing it between the interaction of Teryx and their Pegasus host. Fluttershy flew back holding a platter with some assorted fruit as well as some tea, she placed the platter on the table and proceeded to offer the treats to the Dino gang. “Would any of you like some fruit?” Fluttershy offered. “Well here I have apples, berries and even some nuts…if it’s alright that is.” “Well I and Boulder do enjoy some nuts and berries,” Parker replied. “Though we have no idea what an apple…but it could be neat to try something new.” “Oh wonderful,” said Fluttershy. “Do try some, my friend Applejack and her brother Big Mac brought them to me earlier today.” Parker, Boulder and Dusk each grabbed an apple from the platter, then after taking a light sniff each one took a bite out of the modern fruit. They chew bust before swallowing, and after trying the apples the three had a few words to say. “GREAT CRETACEOUS THESE ARE AMAZING!” Parker, Boulder and Dusk shouted in excitement while Fluttershy looked on happy that her guess were satisfied with the fruit they ate. “Well I’m happy you did,” Fluttershy smiled. “The Apple family from Sweet apple acres grows some of the best apples around here in Ponyville.” “Well you should let them know about that,” Parker chuckled. “These fruit are like nothing we’re used to back home in our valley.” “Indeed,” Dusk agreed. “The only fruit that grew around there are usually Ginkgoes, grapes, cycad fruit, berries, nuts and Palm fruit, however ginkgoes tend to be more of an acquired taste.” Fluttershy could only giggle at the idea of trying a Ginkgo, but she noticed that Teryx had yet to try any of the food on the platter. “Is there’s something wrong Teryx,” Fluttershy wondered. “If you’d like something else I might get it for you.” “Well I was hankering for something like a Mayfly or mosquito,” Teryx replied. “For I am an insectivore after all.” Upon hearing that Teryx enjoys eating bugs; the shy Pegasus began to feel a little concern. But before she could speak out, a parasprite appears out of nowhere shocking the concerned pony. “Oh dear a parasprite!” Fluttershy shouted with concern. “I better catch it before…” Within seconds Teryx flew over and grabbed the Parasprite, the insect like creature struggled a bit until the Avisaurus crunched down and swallow the Parasprite whole. “Now that was good eating,” Teryx comment while rubbing his belly. “I sure hope there’s more of these parasprites flying around here.” Fluttershy could only feel a little squeamish at what transpired, she actually started to turn a greenish color for seeing an animal eating another animal was a bit much for her to take. But she quickly shook it off just as hoping sounds could be heard from the other room, she and the dinosaurs took noticed as a little white rabbit hopped over to them curious about his guardian’s new guess. “Oh hello there Angel,” Fluttershy greeted the bunny. “I would like you to meet our new guess, they are Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk…they’re something called Dinosaurs.” Angel hoped up to the gang and investigated each, while the usually devilish rabbit was generally wary of strangers…the only one he felt wary about was Dusk, especially with his scary looking raptorial toe claws. “Why hello there little fella,” greeted Dusk. “I know we Troodon are intimidating to small mammals, though I do hope we can be friends.” Dusk tried to greet Angel as friendly as he could, however his sharp teeth were easily shown as Dusk tried a gentle smile causing Angel to hide within Fluttershy’s arms. “Don’t be scared Angel,” assured Fluttershy “I’m sure Troodon like dusk don’t eat cute little bunnies right?” “Well actually Fluttershy,” Dusk corrected. “While we Troodon are omnivores eating plants and meat, small furry nocturnal mammals are among our most favorite treats.” Soon enough both Fluttershy and Angel jumped at hearing Dusk’s factual information, seeing this with concern Parker tried to lighten the situation. “Please do not about that,” Parker assured Fluttershy and Angel. “Dusk had already eaten mammals before we got here, so I’m sure your Angel bunny will be safe around him.” “Phew,” both Fluttershy and Angel sigh in relief. “Quick question,” wondered Teryx. “How come you have so many animals living with you anyway?” “Oh that’s because I’m an animal caretaker,” Fluttershy explained to Teryx. “I look after and watch over animals in need of a place to live…it’s one of my special talents hence why I have my cutie mark.” “Can’t the animals look after themselves?” Boulder asked in confusion. “Well some of them could I guess,” replied Fluttershy. “But usually most of my animals required warm and loving homes that are willing to take care of them.” There was a bit of an awkward silence from the Dinosaurs, generally because the idea of animals incapable of looking after themselves was quite unheard of back in the Mesozoic Era. However as Parker, Teryx and Boulder attempted to sort this out, Dusk suddenly realize something and spoke out about the Dinosaurs’ current situation. “Fellas I think I figured it out!” Dusk shouted getting everyone’s attention. “Don’t you see…new kinds of vegetation, docile creatures and six limbed mammals?” “Six limbed mammals?” Fluttershy questions in confusion. “He means you Fluttershy,” Teryx explained. “Anyway what are babbling about Dusk?” “Well I have a theory involving that rainbow star stone that crashed into our planet,” Dusk explained. “What if the multicolored aura contained special particle that somehow sent us through some form of chronological acceleration?!” “Uh could please you explain it without the eggheadedness?” Teryx asked while Fluttershy noticed how the Avisaurus’s comment reminded her of one particular friend. “I think what Dusk is suggesting…” Parker explained. “That somehow the energy emitted may have sent us somewhere through time!” “You mean like time travel?” Teryx asked the Parksosaurus. “Exactly,” replied Dusk. “Say Fluttershy how old do you believes the Urth is?” “Urth?” Fluttershy said in confusion until she realized what Dusk the Troodon had meant. “Oh you mean Equestria…well we don’t really know I’m guessing a little over 4,000 years.” “Well actually my dear Fluttershy,” Dusk explained. “It turns out our planet is actually a little over 4 Billion years old, and judging by my mental calculations…we’re precisely 65,000,000 years from now everyone.” “65MILLION YEARS?!” Everyone shouted in surprise. “So what you’re saying is Dusk is that somehow we’ve been sent into the future?” Parker asked Dusk. “Exactly my young Parksosaurus,” replied Dusk. “And by the looks of things as time went on, it seems that mammals have somehow managed to reach larger sizes which resulted in our lovely young Fluttershy we see now.” Fluttershy couldn’t help but blush at the Troodon’s compliment, but all of a sudden there was a knock on the door. “Oh I’m coming,” Fluttershy told the knocker. “Could you four please excuse me, I believe some pony else is knocking on my door.” The shy Pegasus walked over to answer the door, there standing outside were two of Fluttershy’s friends Twilight Sparkle the Alicorn and Spike the baby dragon. “Why hello there Fluttershy,” greeted Twilight. “How are you doing on the beautiful evening?” “Oh I’m doing wonderful,” replied Fluttershy. “So what brings you two down to my cottage?’ “Oh nothing too important,” explained Twilight. “We were just wondering if you remembered about our brunch with our other friends tomorrow.” “Oh not worry,” assured Fluttershy. “I remembered about that already.” “Well that’s good,” said Spike. “I was just about write you a reminder just in case.” “Why thank you Spike,” Fluttershy. “I really appreciate it.” “Oh say who are you talking too?” Boulder asked from the living room This caught Twilight and Spike’s attention a bit, wondering who was in there with Fluttershy, not sure how her friends would react to seeing her new dinosaur friends Fluttershy thought of a slight fib to explain to her friends. “Uh that was one of my parrots,” Fluttershy fibbed reluctantly. “Does Boulder look like a parrot to you?!” Teryx asked from the living room. “Let me guess another parrot?” Twilight asked suspiciously. Fluttershy nodded yes nervously hoping her friends would buy it.” “Well I got to say Fluttershy,” Spike smirked. “Those parrots are really good, could’ve sworn we were hearing ponies talking in there.” “Well you know parrots,” the shy Pegasus spoke cautiously. “They love repeat the words they hear.” “Will you stop calling us parrots already?!” Teryx shouted in annoyance. There was a bit of an awkward moment as Fluttershy began to sweat bullets as her two friends looked on, the awkwardness lasted for a few moments when Twilight finally spoke up. “Well we can see you are busy Fluttershy,” Twilight chuckled. “So I guess we’ll see you tomorrow.” “Yeah good bye Fluttershy,” Spike waved before he and Twilight departed. “Goodbye Twilight,” Fluttershy waved. “Farewell Spike.” Fluttershy kept on waving until Twilight and Spike were finally out of sight, once she saw they were gone, she closed the door and sigh over what she had done. She felt quite ashamed at lying to some of her closest friends, finally the four Dinosaurs walked over to speak with Fluttershy over what has happened. “Fluttershy are you alright?” Parker asked with concern. “As of now I feel horrible,” Fluttershy sigh. “I still can’t believe I did that though.” “Well Fluttershy,” said Dusk. “Lying usually something you shouldn’t always do.” “I know Dusk,” said Fluttershy. “It’s just that…how could I ever explain to Twilight or any of my friends about you four?” “You don’t know how to explain something?” Boulder wondered. “Uh I don’t believe it what she meant Boulder,” Teryx explained to the Leptoceratops. “But still why wouldn’t you two whoever was out there about the four of us?” “Well you see…” as Fluttershy tried to explain. “I’m not quite sure how either Twilight or Spike would react upon meeting you Dinosaurs…in fact I’m not even sure all of Equestria is even ready for Dinosaurs, I myself wasn’t prepared about meeting a Dinosaur at all in my life.” As Fluttershy began to tear, Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk could see how upset Fluttershy was at what she had done. In fact Fluttershy was completely devastated, but the Dinos could see that she needs some reassurance so parker walked up to calm her down. “Fluttershy its okay,” Parker assured the shy pony. “Look I understand that you’re quite upset at what you’re done, but I also understand you were just trying to protect us as well.” “You do?” Fluttershy asked as she wiped a tear. “Listen we all tend to do the wrong things for the right reason once in a while,” explained Parker. “So you don’t have to worry too much about it, how about when the time is right…you can tell your friends about us when they’re prepared to understand okay?” Parker offered his hand as Fluttershy finally cheered up and smiled at her new Parksosaurus friend. “Okay,” Fluttershy replied as she shook Hoof/ hand with Parker. “I guess when the time does come; I might be able to tell my friends about you if it’s alright with you four?” The four dinosaurs thought it over and after giving it a minute; they nodded yes in agreement much to Fluttershy’s relief. “Well anyway since everything is settled,” said Teryx. “The four of us should go our way.” “Oh I see,” said Fluttershy. “But wait I believe it’s getting dark, where would you four go?” “Back into the woods of course,” Boulder chuckled much to the pony’s shock. “But the Everfree forest can be dangerous out at night!” Fluttershy told the gang. “Uh maybe for tonight you guys should spend the night…if it’s alright that is.” “Nah I think we’re fine,” assured Teryx. “Besides Troodons such as Dusk have excellent night vision, so we’re good.” “Hold on fellas,” Parker spoke up. “You got to remember times has changed around our valley, so there could be perils we might be prepared for at time being…so maybe at least spending one night here at Fluttershy’s den might do good until tomorrow, that way we can get acquainted with the local animal life in the morning.” “Well alright,” said Teryx. “But I call dibs on the nearest perch tonight.” “It’s all yours Teryx,” Parker chuckled. “Anyway Fluttershy would it be alright if me, Boulder and Dusk rest near this area please.” “Well since you four are my guess for tonight…” Fluttershy thought. “So of course you can, I’ll pulled out the extra blankets and pillows for the three of yeah.” “What’s a blanket and pillow?” Boulder wondered. Fluttershy and the other Dinosaurs could only just look as Boulder seemed unaware of certain Equestrian concepts and customs, but shook it off as they prepared for Fluttershy’s first sleepover with some Dinosaurs. To be continued… //-------------------------------------------------------// Primordial Friendship Part 3. //-------------------------------------------------------// Primordial Friendship Part 3. My Little Dinosaur Primordial Friendship part 3 Equestria year 1008 of Celestia’s Reign As the next morning rises over the peaceful down of Ponyville, Fluttershy just walked outside her cottage to admire the lovely day. Suddenly she soon noticed a pair of robins attending to their nest, so Fluttershy happily decided to greet the little song birds. “Good morning you two,” Fluttershy greeted the Robins. “Are you two enjoying this lovely morning like every pony else?” The birds happily chirped yes to the kind and caring, she giggled at their response for she knew they were enjoying the morning as much as she was. “Oh that’s good,” smiled Fluttershy. “I’m about to join my friends during brunch later on, so I hope you two take care.” The robins chirped to Fluttershy, assuring the shy Pegasus that they will before returning to attending their nest. Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk walked out and noticed this. For far they’ve enjoyed their sleepover at the cottage, and were preparing to tell Fluttershy that they were departing back into the Everfree forest when they saw her conversing with the robins. “You know for somebody who’s not familiar with a dinosaur,” Teryx commented. “She’s really good with those birds right there.” Fluttershy overheard what the Avisaurus had said and turned around to greet her new Dino friends, though why they were connecting her robin friends with them felt a bit confusing. “Good morning every pony,” Fluttershy greeted. “Morning Fluttershy,” Parker replied. “Talking to some feather friends?” “I am,” replied Fluttershy. “Though I’m confused…how come Teryx was comparing the robins to a dinosaur?” “Supposedly because Brids are a type of Dinosaur,” replied Teryx. “They are?!” Fluttershy asked in surprise. “He’s right Fluttershy,” replied Dusk. “In fact Troodon, Avisaurus and modern birds are actually part of particular group of Dinosaurs known as the theropods.” “Theropods?” Fluttershy asked Dusk. “The word itself means beast feet,” replied Dusk. “For all theropods share the specialized three toe feet throughout the group and some theropods especially smaller species such as me and Teryx can sprout feathers.” Fluttershy started to take all the information in for she enjoyed learning new facts about animals, but then upon seeing similarities to between Teryx, Dusk and some of the modern birds around her as she finally realized the connection between modern birds and prehistoric dinosaurs. “So that means if birds are related to you two and those birds are actually members of the theropod family…” Fluttershy realized. “Then it means that birds are dinosaurs Fluttershy,” Parker finished for her. As if on cue music began to play as the dinosaurs and their pony friend started to sing… “Walking with some Dinosaurs” Parker: “Come on Dinosaurs with me, let’s walk through the forest and see. That we’re walking or flapping our wings, and doing some Dinosaur things.” As the group started walking around the area, several modern birds began walking and flying around to join in on the song. Teryx: “Come follow us across the floor, let us go tweet, tweet, roar, roar, roar…” Boulder/ Dusk: “Tweet, tweet, roar, roar roar…” Parker: “Come flap, flap and stomp some more.” Boulder/ Dusk: “Flap, flap and stomp some more.” Fluttershy: ‘So I’m walking with some Dinosaurs.” Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk: “You’re walking with some Dinosaurs.” As the Music kept on playing, many of the birds surrounding Fluttershy and the Dino gang began humming along. Very proud of knowing that they’re part of an astonishing group of animals. “Who know for all this time I’ve been hanging out with some Dinosaurs?” Fluttershy giggled. “You better believe it sister,” Teryx replied. “Now come on every Dino let’s finish up shall we.” Teryx: “Now as long as it should be, Dinosaurs live on as you see.” Dusk: “Come on let’s flap and stomp some more….” Parker: “For we’re proud to be Dinosaurs.” Fluttershy: “Tweet, tweet, roar, roar, roar?” Boulder/ Dusk: “Tweet, tweet, roar, roar, roar.” Teryx: “Flap, flap and stomp some more.” Boulder/ Dusk: Flap, flap and stomp some more.” Fluttershy: “I’m walking with some Dinosaurs.” Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk: “You’re walking with some Dinosaurs.” Fluttershy: “I’m walking with some Dino…” Parker: “Walking with some Dino…” Teryx: “Waling with some Dino…” Boulder/ Dusk: “Walking with some Dino…” Unknown parrot: “Walking with some Dino…” Parker/ Fluttershy/ Teryx/ Boulder/ Dusk: “We’re walking with some Dinosaurs!” The song finishes as the birds departed from the group, and then suddenly Fluttershy quickly realized something. “Oh my goodness,” Fluttershy. “I need to get going; my friends are waiting to have brunch with me.” “Take care Fluttershy,” said Dusk. “After we’re done exploring the forest, we promise to come back and check up on you later.” “Okay thank you guys,” smiled Fluttershy. “Do take care please.” “Not to worry we will,” assured Parker. The Dinos waved goodbye to Fluttershy as she flown off to have brunch with her pony friends, at Castle friendship in the middle of town square Fluttershy entered where she was greeted by Spike. “Good morning Fluttershy!” Spike greeted. “Hello Spike,” replied Fluttershy. “I hope I’m not late.” “Actually you’re just in time,” assured Spike. There Fluttershy followed the baby dragon into the dining, there inside awaited Twilight along with three other ponies Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity each helping in setting up the table when Fluttershy and Spike walked right in. “Hello every pony,” greeted Fluttershy. “Well howdy Fluttershy,” Applejack replied. “We’re reckon ya show up.” “And just in time too darling,” Rarity added. “The Hors d'oeuvre had just been set out.” “Oh wonderful<” said Fluttershy. The shy Pegasus walked over and sat down by the table, there was served Hay benedict served with some biscuits and a glass of Apple cider. Each and every treat looked quite appetizing, however as every pony prepared to sit down Twilight realized something important. “Say has anyone seen Pinkie Pie this morning?” wondered Twilight. “You got me,” replied Rainbow Dash. “All we know she’s just doing her usually Pinkie thing.” “Oh I do hope she’s alright,” thought Fluttershy. Meanwhile back with the Dinosaurs, they were busy exploring the Everfree forest. Admiring the view, as well as the creatures both natural and mythological living in the forest. “Talk about some freaky creatures,” whispered. “Have you seen that odd bird with pterosaur-like wings?” “Remember Teryx,” Parker reminded the Avisaurus. “Millions of years have changed, and the creatures here had plenty of time to adapt and such.” “I know but still…” Teryx trailed off noticing what looked like a Jackalope hoping along the way. “Probably should’ve stayed back at the cottage with Angel and the other animals.” “Well look on the bright side Teryx,” said Dusk. “At least it’s a lovely day worthy of a hike.” “And there’s funny looking pink creature living here,” Boulder added. At first the other Dinos were quite confused at the Leptoceratops’s comment, which is until they spotted what Boulder saw. Taking a stroll while humming is none other than Pinkie Pie the super party pony herself, she continued walking that path gang is using until she finally took notice of the Dinosaurs. Being true to her reputation, Pinkie cheerfully ran up to greet the newcomers. “Hi there you must be new I bet you’re brand new,” Pinkie said to the dinosaurs in her rapid speaking. My name’s Pinkie Pie by the way, who are you four?” Now at first the Dinos didn’t know how to answer, but then wanting to make a good impression parker decided to reply to the random Earth pony’s question. “Well greetings Miss Pie,” replied Parker. “My name’s Parker and these are my pals Teryx, Boulder and Dusk.” “Oh those are amazing fun names,” Pinkie cheered. “Huh I almost forgot…since you four are new around here, prepare to be welcomed!!!!” Pinkie ran off as fast as she could, but in an instant returned with her welcome to Ponyville wagon. Music started playing as the pink mare started singing the welcome, while hoping around and dancing much to the Dinosaurs’ bemusement. “Welcome song” Welcome, welcome, welcome, A fine welcome to you Welcome, welcome, welcome I say how do you do? Welcome, welcome, welcome I say hip, hip hurray Welcome, welcome, welcome To Ponyville today Clearly the gang couldn’t comprehend what’s going on though Boulder seemed to be enjoying the music and dance, then as the song finished…confetti burst out in front them with Teryx being flown away by the force, while cake batter splatter all over Pinkie Pie. “Whoops’,” Pinkie laughed. “Guess I put the confetti in the oven and the cake batter in the confetti cannon…again!” After her light chuckle, Pinkie came out and ate her cake batter. It didn’t take long for the Dinosaurs to shake the bemusement off, and simply clapped at the Pinkie’s antic as not to seem rude. Teryx isn’t happy about Pinkie’s mishap though. “What is wrong that pony?!” Teryx said in agitation. “That blast literally flung me to the nearest tree!!!” “Oh I’m really sorry about that,” said Pinkie. “I just get really excited when I meet new ponies or new…uh what are you guys anyway?” “We’re dinosaurs Miss Pie,” replied Dusk. “Dinosaurs huh?” Pinkie said with amazement. “Oh that is so amazing; say maybe I’ll tell Fluttershy about you guys along with those gigantic bird tracks I’ve found earlier.” “Oh you’re a friend of Fluttershy?” Parker wondered. “We’re kind of friends with her as well.” “Huh…you are?!” Pinkie shouted with excitement. “Oh my we so got to hang out sometime!” “I think we manage that I guess,” chuckled Parker. “But what do you mean by gigantic bird tracks?” “Oh you guys want to see?” Pinkie asked the Dino Gang. “Come along with me and I’ll show you guys.” As Pinkie hop on, Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk decided to tag along in hopes to identify the owner of said foot prints. They continued to follow the pink Earth pony until finally they’ve reached the destination, it was at the center of the forest as Pinkie stopped so she could so the gang the tracks she spoke of. “Here, here,” assured Pinkie. “Right there is where I’ve found the tracks, I wonder what kind of bird it is…perhaps some giant chicken…but what do you guys think?” As the Dinosaurs looked upon they track, they were in for total shock. The said footprints were indeed three toed in design, but they knew too well that these weren’t bird tracks. Silence was only interrupted when Pinkie noticed how quiet the Dinos were. “Say are you guys alright?” Pinkie wondered. “Pinkie we know what these tracks are,” said Parker. “But they’re not from a bird.” “Really?’ replied a confused. ‘Then what are they from?” Parker took a moment to calm, then spoke out the only words he thought were required to answer Pinkie’s question. “Tyrannosaurus Rex!” To be continued… //-------------------------------------------------------// Primordial Friendship Part 4. //-------------------------------------------------------// Primordial Friendship Part 4. My Little Dinosaur Primordial Friendship part 4 Equestria year 1008 of Celestia’s Reign After Parker mention the word “Tyrannosaurus Rex”, the other Dinosaurs felt panicked struck though Pinkie Pie on the other hand felt just plain confusion. “Tyrannosaurus Rex,” wondered Pinkie. “What kind of creature’s that?” “Only the most vicious and terrifying creature to have ever walked the planet,” replied Teryx. “Really how terrifying is it?” Pinkie wondered obliviously. “Well to be precise,” Dusk replied. “Tyrannosaurus Rex is one of the largest predatory dinosaurs out there, with a massive head, bone crushing jaws and tremendous power…or just for a reference you should never make fun of their arms, they can be easily provoked about!” “Is it because their arms are super tiny compared to the dinosaurs?” Pinkie asked the Troodon. “Uh yeah that’s actually correct,” replied an astonished Dusk. “Tiny arms or not a T.Rex is one thing you should never want to be around,” said Parker. “And if we’re lucky he’s probably isn’t close by.” “Really?” wondered Boulder. “Because looks like he’s here right now.” “How can you be so sure?” Teryx asked the Leptoceratops. Boulder simply pointed over to something hidden within some trees, only to push them out of the way to reveal him to be a fully grown male T.Rex at around 20 feet tall, 40 feet long and possibly around 7 to 9 tons in weight. https://camo.derpicdn.net/8648789ce646a2770d10cd4f22095ccfabbf2785?url=http%3A%2F%2Fimg15.deviantart.net%2Fc093%2Fi%2F2014%2F325%2Fe%2F1%2Fmale_tyrannosaurus_by_damir_g_martin-d8764w2.jpg His presence was just enough to make even Pinkie Pie shiver in fear, for not even the fiercest beast of the Ever free forest could compare to the fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex. The five some stood still in shock, motionless until the Rex finally let out a terrifying roar to match his power. Youtube Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60gHpcWjoQA) In no time Parker, Boulder, Dusk and Pinkie Pie ran for their lives while Teryx flew away, there the T.Rex began his pursuit. Back with Fluttershy and the rest of the Mane six, they were still waiting anxiously for Pinkie when a thought occurred to Fluttershy…what if Pinkie stumbled upon the Dinosaurs and might accidentally blab out to all of Ponyville about them, she knew right away she must head to the Ever free forest and find the pink mare as well as the Dino gang. “Uh girls I think I might know where Pinkie is,” said Fluttershy. “Really,” replied a skeptical Rainbow Dash. “And where might that be?” “She might’ve ended up at the Everfree forest,” replied Fluttershy with a bit of truth in there. “I think I’ll go get her…if it’s not too much trouble.” “Well go ahead then,” said Twilight. “But do please be careful.” Fluttershy simply nodded in assurance and flew out to the forest, while the rest of her friends continued waiting in the dining room. “Uh should we dig in while we wait?” suggested Rainbow Dash. “Now Rainbow darling that would be rather rude,” Rarity retorted. “Besides it’s normal for Pinkie Pie to be fashionably late once in a while.” “Well ah hope noting bad happened to that party pony,” Applejack said with concern. “Don’t worry girls,” assured Twilight. “I’m sure Pinkie being Pinkie’s just taking a detour and running with joy.” However Twilight’s words proved only half right, for Pinkie along with the Dinosaurs were still running for their life from the T.Rex. “Oh wowie I’ve never ran away from peril since the day with that hydra,” said Pinkie. “Though technically I was actually shaking from that Doozy when my Pinkie sense went…” “Yeah, yeah tell us later,” Teryx interrupted. “Right, at least try to keep yourself focus on staying alive.” “Oki Doki Loki,” replied a cheerful Pinkie Pie. As the gang continued running, Parker soon took noticed of some downed trees and large branches making passage difficult…giving the Parksosaurus an idea. “Quickly everyone,” shouted Parker. “Into that area as fast as you can?” “Oh I see now Parker,” Dusk smirked. As quickly as they can, the four Dinos and Pinkie ran though that area. However when the T.Rex quickly notice the obstacle, it was too late as the Tyrannosaurus tripped and toppled onto the forest floor. He struggled hard to get back up, proving troublesome due to his top heaviness. “Wonderful idea Parker,” Dusk complimented to Parker. “Due to being so top heavy that if a Tyrannosaurus Rex ever trips, it would be almost impossible for them to get back.” “Well that Rex toppling wasn’t part of the plan,” Parker chuckled sheepishly. “But at least we’re alive…though it’s shame of that mishap however.” “Who cares?!” shouted Teryx. “Serve him right!” “Well that’s not a nice thing to say,” Pinkie chided. “Yeah he was only really hungry,” agreed Boulder. As Teryx was about to retort when suddenly they gang were spotted by Fluttershy, relieved to the Dinosaurs and Pinkie Pie were alright. “Oh you’re all okay,” said a concerned Fluttershy. “What happened?” “Oh that’s easy to answer,” Pinkie replied as she raced up to her Pegasus friend. “One day I was taking a short cake through the Everfree forest, and then suddenly I spotted these guys who call themselves dinosaurs. Then we were running from something called Tyrannosaurus Rex or a T.Rex for short, but then Parker have us run through an area that made the T.Rex tripped!!!!” As Pinkie finished her sentence, a bemused Fluttershy soon saw what her random friend had meant. There the T.Rex continued to struggle at getting back up, the shy Pegasus was both shocked and surprise to see how huge and fearsome looking the T.Rex was…but then felt concerned as the Rex continue to struggle in his effort to get back up. “Oh…poor thing,” said Fluttershy with concern. “We have to help him.” “WHAT?!” shouted a shock Teryx. “Look we know you love helping animals, but we’re talking an apex predator here…he’ll rip us to SHREDS!!!!” “But Teryx,” replied a worried Fluttershy. “What if he’ll be stuck here forever, he might get lonely and hungry…we just can’t leave him here to perish!!” Fluttershy began to tear, for seeing an animal hurt is never fun to see for her. Soon enough Teryx looked at Fluttershy, then at the Tyrannosaurus Rex and soon his conscience got to the Avisaurus making him feel bad about just being so prejudice about the cretaceous king. “I can’t believe I’m going to say this…” Teryx sigh. “But Fluttershy has a point, though how exactly are we going to get a seven to nine ton carnivore back to his feet?” “Hmmm… how about a pulley system?” Parker suggested. “If it could lift the Rex long enough, he might be able to get himself back up the rest of the way.” ‘Well that could work,” replied Dusk. “We just need the right material too…” “Got yeah covered,” Pinkie said before the Troodon could finish. There Pinkie revealed an assortment of equipment required for said Pulley system. “What the?” Teryx said in confusion. “How on Urth did you get those?” “She was carrying them in her mane of course,” Boulder chuckled while the Avisaurus’s jaws dropped to the floor. It didn’t take long for the gang to finish the Pulley system and while placing the rope under the T.Rex, everyone ready to turn the crank. “Alright everyone on the count of three we start turning got it?” said Parker as everyone nodded yes. “Good let’s get started!” Soon enough the crank started spinning, while the rope in spite of the Rex’s weight manage to life the carnivore just enough for his two fingered hands to touch the ground. Trying to stay as steadies as he could, the Tyrannosaurus had finally managed to get himself back up. The six friends waited on baited breath as the T.Rex looked at them, then back at the ground where it tripped over on. Now instead of attacking the Dinos and their pony friends, the T.Rex simply smiled at them before departing back into the deeper part of the forest. Everyone sigh in relief for they knew the situation was over. “That was unexpected,” said Teryx. “Well Teryx,” explained Fluttershy. ‘When you show kindness to others, they will tend to show that kindness back to you.” “Appears to make sense,” said Dusk. “So what now?” “Oh I know….” replied Pinkie. “Let’s PARTY!!!” “No Pinkie Pie!” Fluttershy told her Pink friend. “I am very sorry, but we can’t tell any pony about them what so ever.” “How come?” wondered a confuse Pinkie. “What she means is,” Parker explained. “Is that it appears to Pony kind is just not ready to encounter Dinosaurs just yet, after we’ve just arrived here yesterday and so far you two are the only ponies that have met us.” “Oh,” replied Pinkie “You mean Fluttershy haven’t told the rest of our friends yet?” “I’m afraid so,” replied Fluttershy. “I understand that new friends are very exciting, but I think it’s better we keep the secret about the Dinosaurs between the two of us…please?” Fluttershy pleaded the best she could, while Pinkie thought it over in her head. It didn’t take too long to give an answer, as she began to perform her legendary Pinkie Promise. “Cross my heart, hope to fry, stick a cupcake in the eye…” Pinkie Pie chanted. “I Pinkie Pie, Pinkie promise to not tell any pony about the dinosaurs until…” “Until every pony is ready for them,” Fluttershy suggested plead fully. “Yep that should do it,” Pinkie giggled. “Anyway what should we do now?” “Well didn’t Fluttershy say you girls were having brunch?” Dusk wondered. “Oh my goodness I almost forgot about that,” Fluttershy realized. “Then what are we waiting for,” Pinkie said as she went to grab the shy Pegasus’s right hoof. “Let’s go!” As fast as she could, Pinkie took Fluttershy back to Twilight’s castle as fast as Pinkie Pie can leaving the Dinosaurs in the dust. “Okay that was weird,” Teryx comment at what happened. “Now that is something we can all agree on,” Parker agreed with the Avisaurus. Later in the afternoon, Fluttershy had returned to her cottage after she and her friends enjoyed a wonderful brunch together. Now she assumed the Dinos were still in the Everfree forest, but as she opened the door…she became surprised that Parker, Teryx, Boulder and Dusk were inside waiting for her. “Oh hello guys,” Fluttershy greeted. “How come you’re all here so early, didn’t you want to stay in the Everfree forest?” “Not with a T.Rex living there.” Teryx joked. “Besides we were doing that thinking…” “That after what we all were through…” Dusk added. “We were wondering if it’s not any trouble,” Parker suggested. “If we could stay with you for a while.” “With me?” Fluttershy asked in surprise. “Of course,” replied Parker. ‘it’s a brand new world out here, a new time with new experience for a dinosaur to check out.” “Not to mention so much to explore,” said Dusk. “New species, new places to be and  some new friends to make as well.” “And so many new food to eat,” said Boulder. “And besides if the four of us and that T.Rex ended up here…” Teryx mentioned. “Who knows what other Dinosaurs ended up in the future with us?” “And besides we could use a guide to show us around,” said Parker. “So what do you say Fluttershy, want to be friends?” At first Fluttershy tried to comprehend what is happening, for living with a pack of non-bird dinosaurs is relatively new to her...but yet since she and Pinkie were the only ponies aware of their existence as well as on how important it is to try and make new friends, she ended up giving Parker and the Dino Gang her answer. “Well of course you guys can stay with me,” Fluttershy smiled. “Though I just you all can manage living alongside my other animals if that’s alright.” “Please we’ve been other creatures before,” Teryx assured the Pegasus pony. “How hard can it be?” Fluttershy could only giggle at the Avisaurus comment; though having some new roommates was quite a challenge she felt that her knowledge with animals could help her out with the Dino Gang. “Well then,” wondered Fluttershy. “Would any of you want more fruit? I still have plenty of apples if you wish.” The four Dinosaurs simply laughed along as the five of them walked back inside the cottage, as another day draws to a close for the Dinos and their new Equestrian friend but who knows what new adventures will come in the days to come. //-------------------------------------------------------// Help "O" Saurus Part 1. //-------------------------------------------------------// Help "O" Saurus Part 1. My Little Dinosaur It was a beautiful afternoon as Fluttershy attended to her garden, it had already been a week and her new Dinosaur house guess had already settled with her, Angel and the other animals at her cottage. But as of right now she was happily collecting the fruits of her labor, and she was even planning to plant a different assortment of plants…ferns and cycads liked the ones that’ve grown in the Mesozoic Era. After planting the seeds and fern spores, the shy Pegasus smiled at her handy work. “Oh nothing like a little tender, love and care to grow a lovely garden,” said Fluttershy. “And I do hope Parker and Boulder will be able to enjoy these plants once they’ve grown.” Fluttershy calmly sigh in peaceful bliss, which is until something caught her attention. It was coming from a particular birdhouse Rarity made during the inspiration manifestation curse placed upon her, Fluttershy could’ve sworn she was hearing music inside of. Peeked with curiosity, the pony went over to take a little peek…there inside she was surprise to see Teryx the Avisaurus doing some improve dance moves before addressing to an imaginary audience. “Hey there name’s Teryx,” he greeted the imagined group. “You might think you know, but you have no idea…welcome to my crib, “Casa De Dinosaurio” the ultimate Bachelor pad in…” “Teryx?” Fluttershy spoke surprising the Avisaurus a bit. “Uh not that I want to be a bother but…why are you inside…” “My new bachelor pad?” Teryx finished the confused Pegasus. “Well a tiny proto-bird like me needs this space, and since nobody else seems to inhabit this place…I thought I might move in here.” ‘Well I guess you can stay here if you want,” replied Fluttershy. “Though could you at least let me know please…just for next time that is.” “Oh I see,” Teryx realized. “Anyway I hope you enjoy the rest of your afternoon and if you excuse me…I need to choose a bedroom so I can make my nest.” As Teryx flew around in search of a sleeping area, Fluttershy simply happily returned to tending her garden. Afterwards with produce in a basket, she returned to her cottage where she noticed as Dusk the Troodon was reading what appears to be a Bestiary. “Oh salutations Fluttershy,” greeted Dusk. “I see that you had a wonderful harvest.” “Oh thank you Dusk,” the Pegasus giggled. “How is that book suiting you?” “Well I’m enjoying it quite well,” replied Dusk. “Though I’m a bit confused about on creature in this book…Timberwolves, now if it’s true that they’re made of wood are they still considered an animal or are they actually some form of vegetation?” “Good question,” replied Fluttershy. “But be honest, no pony had figured it out quite yet.” “I see,” said Dusk. “Would be worth investigating in the future.” The Troodon proceeded to go back to reading his little Bestiary while Fluttershy headed over to the kitchen, there she saw as Angel was lying on the floor exhausted at whatever he did earlier. “Oh dear are you alright Angel?” Wondered Fluttershy while her rabbit shook his head no. “Home come you’re so tired all of a sudden?” The rabbit pointed to a table as the Pegasus’s jaw suddenly dropped; there the table was pile high of vegetarian platters while Boulder the Leptoceratops was gorging himself on every meal that was in front of him. Fluttershy could only watch as pile upon file of food were placed inside the Dinosaur’s gullet, there the Pegasus decided to head back into the living room to lie down on her sofa. While Fluttershy continued resting from today, Parker the Parksosaurus walked in and noticed how seemingly overwhelmed the poor Pegasus was. In the kitchen he had a little discussion with the other dinosaurs, most notably of their host Fluttershy. “Alright guys you know how much poor Fluttershy had given to us right?” Parker asked the gang as they nodded yes. “However I have a feeling that combined with caring for her critters as well as her personal life could be tiring her out quite a lot.” ”Really I thought she was just shocked at seeing Boulder’s appetite first hand,” said Teryx. “You know how much big dinosaurs need to eat.” “So true,” Boulder replied while patting his belly. “That angel bunny’s a mean cook however.” “Well I understand your concern Parker,” said Dusk. “Though if only we could pay back Miss Shy for her kindness.” Once the Troodon mentioned it, an idea finally sprung in Parker’s head. “Well why don’t we,” suggested the Parksosaurus. “Fluttershy already done so much for us, so why not pitch in and do something for her in return.” “What like help out in domestic chores?” wondered Teryx. “You guys realized I don’t have the size to do such physical labor right.” “You don’t have to do it on your own Teryx,” assured Parker. “You can help by mostly supervising when needed.” “I guess I can do that,” The Avisaurus thought it over. “You know helping out might not be such a bad idea.” “Indeed,” agreed Dusk. “I could help out with the cleaning and cooking.” “And I could help Fluttershy with larger stuff,” Boulder smiled. “Alight then I’ll Fluttershy with her animal friends,” Parker chuckled. “So are we all in agreement.” Teryx, Boulder and Dusk nodded in agreement while Parker smiled at this. “Then it’s settled everyone,” replied Parker. “By tomorrow morning we’ll start pulling our own weight to help Fluttershy out.” On the next morning while Fluttershy peacefully slept in her bed, seemingly dreaming of an assortment of breakfast meals. “Hmmm…freshly squeezed orange juice,” Fluttershy dreamt. “Oh and a bow of muesli, and a plate of… soufflé?” Confused by the aromas, she woke up and realized that the food she smelled seems to be real. Peaked with curiosity, Fluttershy flew over to the kitchen where to her shock….Dusk was making breakfast. “Oh good morning dear Fluttershy,” Dusk greeted the pony. “You’re just in time for breakfast.” “You made breakfast?” the shy Pegasus asked curiously. “Oh I did,” replied the Troodon. “Practiced all night…though I hoped you’re planning on replacing the oven, for some reason it blew up when I was preparing chocolate soufflé.” Fluttershy took noticed of the smoke coming out of the oven, but paid no mind due to that she rarely cooked anything with the oven to begin with. “Well thank you for preparing breakfast,” Fluttershy smiled. “But uh where are the others?” “Well Parker’s attending to the animals,” replied Dusk. “Boulder’s out somewhere saying about learning to pull his own weight…and Teryx’s still sleeping the birdhouse, he had to help me last night in putting out the fire from the oven.” “They’re doing what?” asked a confused Fluttershy. To be continued… //-------------------------------------------------------// Help "O" Saurus Part 2. //-------------------------------------------------------// Help "O" Saurus Part 2. My Little Dinosaur After finishing the breakfast made for her by Dusk, Fluttershy ventured outside to find the other dinosaurs…most notably Parker. She felt that since animals are delicate and required such special care, she feared that Parker might be too inexperienced to be able pick up her skill in just a day. “Oh poor Parker,” thought Fluttershy. “I hope the animals don’t give him a hard time, dinosaurs like him might not be too familiar with our local fauna after all.” Keep as much as a vigil as she could, Fluttershy tried to locate the Parksosaurus. But as she finally found him, Fluttershy was in for quite a surprise. There at the center of an opened area, the shy Pegasus just witness what looked like Parker relaxing next to some of her animals like some birds, squirrels and rabbits. In fact even her bear was lying next to the little dinosaur, a sight Fluttershy could not believe is actually happening. “Oh hey there Fluttershy,” greeted Parker. “Did you sleep well?” “I did,” replied the shy Pegasus. “I guess my animals didn’t need to much coaxing to befriend you.” “Helps when you used to live around a menagerie of different creatures,” Parker chuckled. “And that you know two forms of the saurian language from the one I’m speaking now, and the language avian dinosaurs speak today.” “Well I have to say I’m quite surprised,” Fluttershy smiled. “You wouldn’t have a special talent for animals do you?” “There’s no such thing as talent,” replied Parker. “Just skill you’ve learn to perfect over time.” “Skill?” asked a confused. “I do not understand Parker…you see here in Equestria once a pony finds their special talent, we earn our cutie mark like I have here.” Fluttershy gestured to her butterfly shaped cutie marks she had on both side of her flanks, while parker was intrigued he had something else to say about such notions. “So those markings only appear once you find your…you know what?” Parker asked while Fluttershy nodded yes. “Well no offense Fluttershy but that’s kind of preposterous.” “Oh but its true Parker,” Fluttershy attempted to assure the Parksosaurus. “To a pony a cutie mark defies who you are, it’s represent your character and your destiny.” “Still feels kind of ridiculous to me,” said Parker. “Back in the cretaceous an old sauropod once said that ‘Destiny is not a matter of chance but a matter of choice’, and you don’t need those markings to defy who you are…only you can determine who you choose to be.” “I don’t!” Fluttershy said in shock. “You mean to say that all time I’ve listen to my cutie mark was all for…nothing?!” Before Parker could give a reply, Fluttershy flew off in what appears to be a lost in confidence. Parker could only look on with the other animals, feeling regretful of what he had said. “Me and my big mouth,” Parker sighs in shame. Parker departed to allow the animals to relax at where they were, head low in the ground upon accidentally hurting Fluttershy’s feelings. As he walked into the cottage, Dusk was just finishing up the dusting when the Troodon took noticed of a gloomed friend. “Say Parker why the mope?” wondered Dusk. “Nothing too important,” replied Parker. “Except it seemed that I’ve unwittingly cause a blow to Fluttershy’s self-esteem.” “Because of what you said about cutie marks,” Dusk replied while Parker simply nodded yes. “It’s okay Parker, I’m pretty sure she just overacted to what you said.” “I don’t believe it what I said Dusk but more how I said it,” replied Parker. “All I wanted to do was to help her with the task she acquired…but it seems I just made things so sorrowful instead.” “Now Parker we all say things we regret once in a while,” said Dusk. “Maybe if you find a way to bring her confidence back, Fluttershy might able to…” “HEY GET BACK HERE YOU PEST!” shouted Teryx from outside. At first Parker and Dusk were confused on what going on, but then scurrying into the cottage is what appeared to be an opossum-like mammal which the duo quickly recognized.” https://camo.derpicdn.net/139dbaf828fa540862ac25712defaa9623100f21?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.krank.ie%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F12%2FWalking-With-Dinosaurs-3D-Alphadon.png “An Alphadon,” Dusk said in surprise. “But how did it get here?” wondered Parker. The Alphadon looked at the Dinos for a moment, and then ran off to try and find a place to hide just a Teryx flew in agitated to say the least. “Alright where is it?!” Teryx shouted. “When I get my claws on that bug eater….” “Teryx calm down will yeah,” said parker. “I’m pretty sure that marsupial had as much to eat as you did.” “Maybe so but I’m still crossed about it,” Teryx replied while crossing his wings. “Better would be where did she come from?” “Better question would how do we catch her?” Dusk suggested. “Well I’m sure a certain pony might be able to calm that Alphadon down,” Parker sighs. “But only one way to know for sure…” Parker went over to Fluttershy’s bedroom; inside the shy Pegasus could be heard sobbing while Angel kept on tossing out the tissues. Parker walked in and proceeded to speak. “Fluttershy?” Parker asked as Fluttershy looked up with tears in her eyes. “Look about earlier…” “Oh no Parker you were right,” the Pegasus continued to sob. ”Maybe caring for my animals was a waste of time…maybe I should stop following my cutie mark and find out my…” “Fluttershy you don’t need to do that,” assured parker. “After all the animals here love you and you love them, “ “I know,” replied Fluttershy. “But still…what you said.” “Look I’m really sorry you for making what I said sound bad,” said Parker. “Just because you don’t have to follow your cutie mark doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give up what you love…and if that’s caring for your animals then you should do what you love.” Fluttershy started tom cheer up, she felt so relieved that she flew up and embraced the little dinosaur happily. “Oh you were right Parker,” Fluttershy calmly smiled. “If caring for animals is what I love, I should continue doing it.” “Well that’s good,” Parker sigh in relief. “Now speaking of animals…” Moments later the three Dinosaurs and Fluttershy have manage to locate the Alphadon hiding within the pantry; here Fluttershy was able to coax the primitive marsupial out with a soothing sound of her reassuring voice. Gently Fluttershy was able to get her on her right hoof where the Alphadon nestled within it. “Oh you’re just a shy little girl aren’t you,” Fluttershy told the Alphadon. ‘Well not to worry, you’ll make plenty of friends here soon enough.” Watching Fluttershy befriend the little mammal just made Parker and Dusk look on in wonder, though Teryx simply gawked at what he saw…that is until finally Boulder walked in returning from wherever he has been. “Hi everyone what’s going on?” Boulder asked the gang. “Where have you been Boulder?” wondered Teryx. “You’ve been gone all afternoon.” “Well I was trying to find a way to pull my own weight,[‘ replied Boulder. “And I finally did.” At first Parker, Teryx and Dusk were a bit confused, until the Leptoceratops gestured to what appears to be a gigantic apple same size as Boulder was. “Wow what an apple,” Parker said in amazement. “Where did you find it?” Meanwhile at sweet apple acres, Applejack was walking over with a water can in her mouth. She was heading over to water her new giant blue ribbon apple, but as she prepared to pour the water… “NO!!!!!!!” Shouted Applejack upon seeing that her prize winning apple is missing. //-------------------------------------------------------// Song of the Hadrosaur Part 1. //-------------------------------------------------------// Song of the Hadrosaur Part 1. My Little Dinosaur On a quiet evening in Ponyville, or at least it would be if not for one particular party pony practicing her trombone. Pinkie Pie was performing “when the saints go marching in”, and so far she hasn’t missed a beat when suddenly… a new sound could be heard. Youtube Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-tRFuMdQkA) “Huh,” Pinkie stopped her performance. “I wonder what that could be.” Just as Pinkie spoke the vocalization stopped, paying no mind Pinkie decided to shrug it off and went back to performing on her trombone. But as she performs once more, the sound came out again. These made Pinkie stop her playing, which by then the sound stopped once more…this made Pinkie very curious. “Hmm, I wonder?” Pinkie Pie thought to herself. With an idea in place, Pinkie performs a high note which the mysterious sound sung back. Amazed that her hypothesis is working, Pinkie proceeded to perform her music while the mysterious sound performed what appears to be a duet with her trombone. As Pinkie continued playing, she soon realized that the origin of the sound was in fact coming from…the Everfree forest. Wondering on what could be creating the sound, Pinkie decided to head towards Fluttershy’s cottage to speak with her about it. Meanwhile at said cottage, the shy Pegasus with the help of Parker the Parksosaurus is tending to their new Alphadon guess. Right now they found what could be a perfect home for the prehistoric marsupial, a small burrow big enough to fit the tiny mammal. So far the Alphadon now named “Alpha” seems to be enjoying her new surroundings, especially with a home away from her old home in the cretaceous era. “Aww…you’re enjoying your new home aren’t yeah?” Fluttershy asked as Alpha squeaked yes in response. “That’s good, well see you later Alpha.” The Alphadon happily squeaked back before preparing to settle into her new burrow, Fluttershy and Parker returned to the cottage where the shy Pegasus prepared some tea for the two of them. “Well I have to say Fluttershy toady’s been quite a peaceful one,” said parker. “I mean with the guys out exploring for a while, it appears it’s just you, me and the critters.” “I guess you’re right Parker,” Fluttershy giggled. “But since we helped all the animals we can, guess it’s good time to sit back, relax and…” “FLUTTERSHY!!!!” shouted a familiarly bubbly voice. The shy Pegasus instantly jumped at this while Parker simply sigh, knowing very well that it was Pinkie Pie calling out from outside the cottage. “Speak of the didelphodon,” said the Parksosaurus. “Let us see what Pinkie Pie wants.” As Parker prepared to open the door, he stopped and realized something. Grabbing for a seemingly unsuspecting jar, Parker opened it and spoke into it. “Hello Pinkie,” Parker spoke as a particular pink mare popped out surprising Fluttershy in the process. “Hey Parker,” greeted Pinkie Pie. “But how did you…” “Half hazard of guessing,” replied Parker. “Besides knowing you…when would you do something predictable?” “Good point,” Pinkie laughed. As Pinkie fully came out of the jar, as she sat down and grabbed a cup of tea she soon remembered her original reason for coming over. “Anyway…” Pinkie spoke. “There’s something I need to show you guys!” “Really Pinkie,” wondered Fluttershy. “What is it Pinkie?” As Pinkie Pie pulled the trombone out of her mane, she began performing her music. As she did, the sound from earlier could be heard once more. This surprised Parker and Fluttershy, though for the dinosaur the sound seemed oddly familiar to him. “Say I believe I know that sound from somewhere,” Parker thought. “But it something I’ve haven’t heard since….” The Parksosaurus paused for a moment, as a spark of realization occurred. The quietness remained as Fluttershy and Pinkie looked on, Pinkie was tempted to interrupt but Fluttershy’s warrying eyes convinced the party mare to remain silent when Parker finally spoke. “Why…that’s the call of a Hadrosaur,” Parker finally said. “Those dinosaurs are famous for the variety of sounds they make.” “Oh another dinosaur’s here in Equestria?” Fluttershy asked the Parksosaurus. “Yep but don’t worry,” assured Parker. “Hadrosaur dinosaurs are mostly plant eaters.” “Well that’s good news to hear,” the shy Pegasus sigh in relief. “But I wonder why such a dinosaur would be wandering around the Everfree forest?” “Especially with a T.Rex living there now,” Pinkie Pie added. “Well whatever the reason doesn’t matter now girls,” replied Parker. “What does is making sure the Hadrosaur understands that it has no need to worry about the situation it’s in….hadrosaurs don’t do well with stress after all.” “Oh my,” Fluttershy gasped. “Then we must better go over and help the poor thing.” “Exactly,” Parker agreed. “Let us get going then.” “Okie Doki Loki,” replied Pinkie while Fluttershy simply nodded yes shy fully. A while later, Parker, Fluttershy and Pinkie were walking through the forest in search of the Hadrosaur. Pinkie made sure to play her trombone as a way to track the herbivorous dinosaur, while Parker and Fluttershy had a little chat on what to do when they find the dinosaur. “Well Fluttershy I was thinking once we find the Hadrosaur…,” suggested Parker. “We should find it a home somewhere in the forest away from predators.” “But why couldn’t we just take it to my cottage?” wondered Fluttershy. “Hadrosaurs are a little large for your home Fluttershy,” explained Parker. “Would give a dead giveaway to your other friends that non-bird dinosaurs are among you ponies after all.” “Oh I guess you’re right,” Fluttershy giggled. “Though I do hope we find the poor Hadrosaur real soon.” “So do I,” replied Parker. “But hopefully it won’t be too long before we….” “FOUND IT!” shouted Pinkie Pie up ahead. Soon enough Parker and Fluttershy follow suit, and once they reach up to Pinkie Pie…they were in for a big surprise. Standing out in the opened area of Froggy Bottom Bog is probably the most well known Hadrosaur since the Trachodon… https://camo.derpicdn.net/96b076b214ab6e7402b5a607d9465212ba62eeb5?url=http%3A%2F%2Fres.cloudinary.com%2Fdk-find-out%2Fimage%2Fupload%2Fq_80%2Cw_1440%2FParasaurolophus_mh9k5i.jpg The Parasauralophous as he performed his famous music in response to Pinkie’s own tuba playing. To be continued… //-------------------------------------------------------// Song of the Hadrosaur Part 2. //-------------------------------------------------------// Song of the Hadrosaur Part 2. My Little Dinosaur As Parker, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie kept on listening to the Parasauralophous’s music, the crested Hadrosaur finished up to take noticed of the trio in surprise/ confusion. “Say you’re not members of the herd,” said the Parasauralophous. “Well I know about the Parksosaurus, but what are you two?” “Hi yeah,” greeted Pinkie. “The name’s Pinkie Pie and this is my friend Fluttershy, we’re ponies as you can see though technically I’m an Earth pony and Flutter here’s a Pegasus pony.” “Uh hi,” said Fluttershy. “I see,” the crested Hadrosaur said awkwardly. “Anyway my name’s Perry and if you three could excuse me, I need to keep on searching for the rest of my herd… one of them seems to be playing an unusual tune far off from here and I really wish to seek them.” “Well we can see that,” Parker chuckled. “Though apparently what you thought was another Parasauralophous calling is actually just Pinkie playing her…” “Trombone,” Pinkie Pie finished for the little dinosaur. Pinkie demonstrated by playing her trombone once more, while Perry seemed impressed by the similarity the trombone had to the sounds of his crest. He was also disappointed to learn that there were no more of his kind around after all. “Oh dear,” Perry sigh. “I’ve been stranded here in the forest for quite a while, looking for my herd ever since that Star Stone slammed into the Urth…but since it seems I’ve been wandering toward a sound over nothing, guess it was a waste of time.” The trio could see how sad Perry was, being all alone for so long just was really depressing for a social animal like the Parasauralophous. But then all of a sudden Perry peeked up, as if he heard something dangerous close by. “Uh oh,’ said a shocked Perry. “Appears my situation just got worse…something’s close by.” “Really how can you tell?” wondered Pinkie. “Crested hadrosaurs like the Parasauralophous,” Parker explained. “Have some of the best hearing out there, it not only helps them keep in touch with their herd…it can also alert them of predators.” “Predators?” wondered Fluttershy. Just before anyone else spoke, something within the water stirred. By sheer coincident a familiar hydra pops out with all four heads, eying the gang quite hungrily shocking the four quite so. “Say isn’t that the same hydra from the day Twilight tried to know about my pinkie sense?” wondered Pinkie pie. “Appears that way,” replied Fluttershy so meekly. “Well whatever a hydra is…” Parker gulped. “I say we get out of here…ASAP!!! “Say no more!,” replied Perry as he suddenly placed the two ponies and Parksosaurus on his back. “Let’s get out of here!” Within an instant before the hydra could snap, Perry the Parasauralophous high tailed it as far away as possible. Seeing that their meal is getting away, the four headed beast started chasing the foursome through the forest. Luckily for Perry, his kind proved a whole lot faster than the Hydra ever could. “Well I’ve heard that Dusk read about these things,” Parker commented. “I never thought a four headed animal is biologically possible!” “Well I’m a six limbed mammal Parker,” reminded Fluttershy. “So you can say a four headed animal is quite possible.” “Good point on that,” Parker chuckled in realization. “Anyway we need a way to get these guys off our tail.” “We could try offering them a cupcake,” Pinkie bubbly suggested much to Parker and Fluttershy’s dismay. As Perry kept on running with the gang on his back, a thought occurred to the crested hadrosaur. “Hey you three I might have an idea,” Perry spoke. “I need you three to cover your ears ASAP!” “Really why?” Wondered Pinkie as she pulled out some earplugs for her, Parker and Fluttershy. “I think we should listen,” Parker realized as he took a pair of plugs. “Well…okay,” Fluttershy replied as she took her pair. “Good,” said Perry. “Now keep them close for as long as you can…otherwise your eardrums will rattle for hours.” As the three finally covered their ears with the plugs, Perry the Parasauralophous stood to face the hydra. Seeing that they finally caught up, the ravenous hydra prepared to lunge at their quarry. But just as they’re about to reach the group, Perry produce a sound so loud and irritating it caused to hydra to back away and shake their heads violently in an attempt to rid the sound out of their heads. The watched in relief as the Hydra backed away from the group, however what neither faction realized was that hiding in the trees is “Rex” the T.Rex eying the four headed hydra hungrily. Suddenly the theropod strike and tackled the hydra down, shaking and crushing the monster with his powerful jaws ending the Hydra’s life off screen. Parker, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Perry could only look on squeamishly as Rex enjoyed his meal, while they were grateful that in saved their lives…shock of seeing the hydra perish was much to take in. “Guess that’s why T.Rex’s king of predators,” said Parker in concern. “Indeed,” Fluttershy shook fearfully. “Why didn’t anyone tell me a Tyrannosaur lived in these forest?!” Perry said in shock. “Because we didn’t get the chance,” replied Pinkie sheepishly. Not wishing to continue watching Rex Gorge, the four left the area leaving the carnivore to feed in peace. After reaching the edge of the forest, Perry allowed the three to get down from his back as they sigh in relief that what happened earlier is all over now. “That poor Hydra,” Fluttershy said sadly. “They didn’t see Rex coming.” “Well sometimes the natural world is so bitter sweet Fluttershy,” Parker explained. “Predators hunting prey is just part of the circle of life.” “I guess you’re right,” said Fluttershy as she wiped a tear away. “Though watching an animal harming another animal is just something I might never get used to.” “Well not to worry,” assured Parker. “I’m sure the hydra’s at a better place now.” “Anyway I guess I should get going,” said Perry. “Though I’m not quite sure where I’ll go…since it seems I can’t find my herd…” "Wait a minute!” Pinkie realized something. “Fluttershy don’t you have a wildlife sanctuary?” “Oh my goodness you’re right?” Fluttershy realized. “A what kind of sanctuary?” wondered a confused Parker. “Is it a place I can live at?” Perry wondered as well. Fluttershy simply nodded yes as she decided to show the dinosaurs her animal preserve, moments later after making no pony else is around Fluttershy escorted Parker and Perry to the “Sweet Feather Sanctuary”. https://camo.derpicdn.net/14c997f0cffc3301cf1278da3b16e5352e84261d?url=https%3A%2F%2Fvignette1.wikia.nocookie.net%2Fmlp%2Fimages%2F4%2F41%2FThe_Sweet_Feather_Sanctuary_S7E5.png%2Frevision%2Flatest%3Fcb%3D20170507223715 The two awe in wonder at what they saw, and after Perry walked in and greeted the animals there…he felt like he can settle in the sanctuary for a while. “So far I like,” Perry smiled. “At least here I can feel safe until I can find my herd…thank you flying mammal.” “Your welcome Perry,” Fluttershy giggled. “And we’ll always visit you when we get the chance.” “Well I always wanted to make new friends,” Perry smiled. “Maybe one day I could perform a song to thank you three one day.” “We would love that,” Parker chuckled. “Though do take care, and please be gentle with Fluttershy’s animals.” “I can assure you I will,” assured Perry as he lied on the cool grass. Parker, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie departed, allowing the Parasauralophous to settle in his temporary home. The three returned to Fluttershy’s cottage, thinking about the adventure they had with a crested Hadrosaur. “Now that was an adventure,” said Pinkie. “We made a new friend, escape a hydra and found said friend a perfect place to stay.” “Indeed,” replied Fluttershy. “Though I do hope Perry settles in quite nicely at the sanctuary.” “I’m pretty sure he will,” assured Parker. The Parksosaurus watched outside a window and listened to what sounded a lovely tune performed by Perry the Parasauralophous himself. //-------------------------------------------------------// Bird is the word part 1. //-------------------------------------------------------// Bird is the word part 1. My Little Dinosaur Somewhere within a field of flowers a little honeybee was busy collecting nectar and pollinating flowers, unaware that within the flora an assassin bug is lying in wait to pounce. But as the bug prepared to strike, something swopped down and grabbed the assassin bug while the bee landed to feed on nectar in safety. The creature that snatched the bug is in fact Teryx the Avisaurus, enjoying a fine afternoon snack. “Huh spicy,” said Teryx. “Just the way I like it.” Teryx continued to fly around the field in search of more insects to eat, quickly he spotted what looks like a fly hovering over some garbage. Seeing an opportunity, the tiny Avisaurus prepared to dive bomb the unsuspecting insect. “Hello lunch,” Teryx declared as he prepared to dive. However as he tried to lunge at the fly, something else nearby caught the insect with its sticky tongue. Upon seeing this, Teryx tried to abort the dive…only to crash into the trash can instead. As the Avisaurus pulled his head out of the garbage, he spotted the creature that ate his fly…. a little green frog. “Ribbit” The little frog hopped along while Teryx simply groaned, mostly because he felt cheated about losing the fly. “Maybe I should have frog legs instead,” the Avisaurus joked sarcastically. After shaking the junk off, Teryx flew out of the can and prepared to fly back to the cottage. However the Avisaurus stopped when something caught his attention, he noticed what appears to be Pinkie Pie preparing something mischievously. “Huh,” Teryx wondered curiously. “I wonder what that pink migraine’s up to.” Thinking about investigating, Teryx flew up to the nearest tree next to Pinkie as the pink pony went into the bushes while taking a stroll is an unsuspecting Spike. Now as the little dragon’s just about to walk pass the bush… “BOO!” Pinkie surprised the baby dragon. “YIKES!” Spike shouted in surprised. As the baby dragon jumped and landed on his bottom, he begun to hiccup while Pinkie started to laugh at her little practical joke on the Drake. Teryx up on his perch let out a light chuckle at the scene, slightly amused at what transpired. “Oh…hic…Pinkie Pie,” Spike chuckled while hiccupping at the same time. “That never gets old,” Pinkie giggled. “Though I do hope you’re alright.” “I’m fine,” assured Spike while he still hiccupped. “Anyway I better get going, see you later Pinkie.” The little drake waved farewell before continuing his stroll, while Pinkie Pie kept on laughing just as Teryx flew down and landed on the park bench. “Well Pinkie I knew you were a lot of things,” said Teryx. “But who knew you were a practical jokester?” “Oh hi yeah Teryx,” Pinkie greeted as she calmed down. “Did you enjoy my little prank?” “A little bit,” replied the Avisaurus. “You Pinkie back in the cretaceous era I did a few practical jokes.” “Wow really?” Pinkie asked while intrigued. “I’ll be lying if I said I didn’t,” said Teryx. “Anyway what you did was impressive…though that prank was as old as the Triassic period, if you want to try out a true prank…let me show you.” “Well I’ve always wanted to try something new,” Pinkie smiled. “Let’s give it a try.” “Good then follow me,” Teryx said as he took to the air while Pinkie followed. A while later at a local pond, the weather pony Rainbow Dash is lounging around and enjoying a smoothie. Teryx and Pinkie were hidden inside another bush, this time though they’re going with the Avisaurus’s ideal prank. “Do we do it now?” Pinkie whispered while giggling. “Save the giggle for after we prank your rainbow friend,” Teryx whispery reminded the Earth pony. “Oh right sorry,” Pinkie whispered back. The duo kept quiet while Rainbow Dash remained oblivious to what is happening; eventually she started to drift when suddenly… Youtube Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApzQkC3BcgE) This made the Pegasus pony jumped in surprised; she actually hopped into the water because of the sudden roar. She poke her head out drenched, wondering what is happening. “What in Celestia?!” Rainbow Dash wondered. Pinkie and Teryx ran off far away so Rainbow wouldn’t see the Avisaurus, there the two laugh hysterically at their little joke. “Wow that was unbelievable Teryx,” Pinkie giggled. “How did you learn to do that?” “That’s just a little mimicry I picked up as a hatchling,” Teryx laughed. “Comes in handy when avoiding being a raptor’s lunch…and comes in handy as a prank call.” “Well Teryx that’s super neat oh,” Pinkie hopped. “Can you do other calls?” “You have no idea my pink accomplish,” Teryx chuckled. Moments onward Teryx and Pinkie went on a pranking spree, they first stopped at Rarity’s boutique where the Unicorn fashionista’s cat Opal was taking her cat nap. There Teryx mimicked the barking of a dog, which was more than enough to make the cat jump up into the ceiling. Next they went over to Sweet Apple Acres where an exhausted Applejack and Big Mac were preparing to take a siesta, here Teryx mimic the crowing of a rooster instantly waking the apple siblings up causing them to flip head into a pair of apple pies lying on the floor (courtesy of Pinkie Pie of course). As the evening began to close, Teryx and Pinkie were relaxing at Fluttershy’s cottage laughing off their little pranking spree. “Well I got that out of my system,” Teryx chuckled. “Have you Pinkie?” “You batcha my feathered friend,” replied Pinkie with a giggle. “Well I better get going, promised to foal sit the twins after all.” “Well you do that Pinks,” said Teryx. “Though I hope you’re free tomorrow afternoon.” “Oakey Doki Loki,” replied Pinkie. “Who are we going to pull on at that time?” “You’ll find out real soon Pinkie,” Assured Teryx. “You’ll see.” What Pinkie didn’t know was that Teryx was preparing a particular prank on one certain pony attending to her rabbits…Fluttershy to be precise. On the next day while the shy Pegasus was peacefully relaxing under a tree when all of a sudden… “Fluttershy” “Huh,” wonder Fluttershy. “Twilight is that you.” “Yeah who do you think it is,” replied a voice from outside. “Do you think you could come out for a moment?” “Uh okay,” replied a confused Fluttershy. The shy Pegasus walked out the door, not suspecting what would happen next. As she walked outside, Fluttershy was suddenly caught off guard as a unsuspecting bucket of water poured upon Fluttershy drenching the Pegasus all over. Soon enough Teryx popped out, revealing the prank to be part of his doing.” “Huh got yeah didn’t I Fluttershy?” Teryx said in Twilight’s voice before falling onto the floor laughing. Fluttershy had a look of shock on her face, which Pinkie soon noticed as she popped out from her hiding spot. “Huh Fluttershy?!” pinkie asked in shock. “Who else were we going to prank pinkie?” Teryx added as he kept on laughing with his normal voice. As Teryx kept on laughing, he failed to notice how teary Fluttershy was becoming. Pinkie on the other hand knew well on what they had done, out of all her friends to prank…Fluttershy due to her sensitivity was off limits to her pranking. But now that Fluttershy’s been prank…he started to cry uncontrollably as she ran back inside. “Huh what gives?” wondered a confused Teryx. “Teryx theirs is something you must know,” explained Pinkie. “Fluttershy’s the one pony you should never ever pull a prank on; she is all so sensitive that even the most harmless prank can hurt her feelings very badly.” “Oh,” Teryx now understand. “Whoops.” “Yeah whoops,” Pinkie agreed. Teryx and Pinkie Pie looked on over what they have done To be continued… //-------------------------------------------------------// Bird is the word part 2. //-------------------------------------------------------// Bird is the word part 2. My Little Dinosaur As Fluttershy continued to cry over the prank pulled upon her, Teryx and Pinkie Pie continued to debate on what to do to make it up to her. “Oh what are we going to do, what are we going to do?” Teryx asked himself and Pinkie Pie. “Well we better think of something,” replied Pinkie. “Poor Fluttershy’s in a flutter of sadness, and it’s our entire fault!” “Huh I guess we better go in there and say that we’re Sor-each,” Teryx tried to say sorry with a silly face. “Huh,” Pinkie noticed in confusion. “What was that you?” “I’m just trying to say we better go over and apolo-,” Before Teryx could finish however his throat goes haywire. “Oh dear it appears I’m trouble saying the “S” word out loud, like some kind of mental tick or something. “Oh you’re right,” Pinkie agreed in realization. “I guess I’ll be the one to go over and apologies to Fluttershy then.” “As much as I would like you to take the whole burden,” Teryx commented. “This is something we need to do together.” “But can we with you acting goofy?” wondered the pink mare. The Avisaurus thought it over until thought occurred to him, then moments later inside the cottage Teryx and Pinkie walked up to the door to Fluttershy’s bedroom where she could still be heard crying. The two go forth with their plan as Teryx wrote something on a piece of paper; it said “We’re sorry” Signed, Teryx and Pinkie Pie.” The Avisaurus flew underneath the door where inside Fluttershy continued to cry, as she did the tears unwittingly fell on the writing where the shy Pegasus tearfully noticed. The paper is flung back to Teryx and Pinkie, this time saying- “Sorry but I can’t seem to read you’re writing… Fluttershy.” At first the two were confused until they spotted that tears had ruined the Avisaurus’s writing, much to Teryx and pinkie’s dismay. The two decided to go through with a plan be, this time Pinkie tossed a can with a cord on it into the shy Pegasus’s bedroom. As Fluttershy noticed the play telephone, she went over to listen to it. Outside Teryx and pinkie prepared their apology. “Fluttershy,” said Teryx. “We’re just here to say…” “That we’re sorry,” Pinkie finished into the play telephone. The two prepare to listen for a reply, but instead of expected reply from Fluttershy they could only hear an odd scraping. “Huh,” wondered Pinkie. “I wonder where that is coming from.” She pulled out a pair of binoculars for her and Teryx to take a peek, as they did they discover that Boulder the Leptoceratops was in fact using the string as a kind of dental floss for his teeth. “Boulder,” Teryx groaned in annoyance. “What are we going to do with that bone head?” A while later Teryx and Pinkie were circling around a tree, trying to figure out what to do next to apologies to Fluttershy. As they kept on doing so, Dusk the Troodon came out to do some more reading on his favorite bestiary when he took noticed of them pacing around. “Say what is going on my friends?” wondered Dusk. “Have you figured out how to apologies to Miss Shy yet?” “Let me guess you heard with your Troodon hearing?” Teryx asked Dusk. “Pretty much,” responded the Troodon. “Well I can see you two are busy I better…” “Wait a minute,” Teryx asked the Troodon. “We could use your advice if it’s alright.” ‘Well I can always help,” the Troodon chuckled. “Need help in finding a way to make your apologies.” “We sure do,” nodded Pinkie Pie. “No matter what we come up with…our ways of apologizing backfire on us.” “Well I’m only knowledgeable on certain scientific research,” said Dusk. “But there’s an old saying that when fire strikes…sometimes it’s best to use another form of fire to fight said fire.” “You mean fight fire with fire?” Teryx asked while Dusk simply nodded yes. “So what you’re suggesting is that if we humiliate ourselves…Fluttershy could get over our prank and forgive us.” ‘That’s the hypothesis my avian friend,” replied Dusk. “Now if you excuse me, I got a chapter on the four pony tribes to finish up.” Dusk leaves to read his Bestiary while an idea finally came to Teryx and Pinkie Pie, a while later as Fluttershy continued to cry a knock on the door could be heard. “Yes?” Fluttershy said tearfully. “Fluttershy, could you come out please?” Teryx asked from outside the door. “There’s something you need to see,’ Pinkie Pie added. “And not to worry it’s not another prank.” “Uh…okay,” Fluttershy reluctantly replied. “I’m coming.” As Fluttershy walked outside, she noticed as Teryx and Pinkie stood there each holding soda syphons in their hands/ hoofs. One cue they squirted each other with soda water and started humiliating themselves in front of the shy Pegasus. However Fluttershy simply watched in confusion, seeing that Fluttershy wasn’t even giving a single chuckle…Teryx groaned over this. “What is it going to take to get a laugh from some…” Before Teryx could finish he slipped on the wet ground until landing on his bottom. Upon seeing this, Fluttershy tried to repress a chuckle until…she started to giggle uncontrollably over what had happened much to Teryx and Pinkie’s relief. After things finally settle down, Teryx and Pinkie were cleaning up the soda water from the floor as Fluttershy smiled as she still remembered the antic the dup had pulled on each other. “Oh thank you Teryx and Pinkie,” said Fluttershy. “I kind of needed a good laugh. And sorry I over reacted over your little prank.” “We’re the ones that wanted to apologies,” Pinkie explained. “Yeah I didn’t know how sensitive you were just a harmless practical joke,” Teryx added. “And in fairness we’ll be more careful to not take pranks too far for now on.” “Well it’s alright,” assured Fluttershy. “I’m just happy that you cheered me up.” “That’s good but what now?” wondered Pinkie. “Hmmm…” Teryx said while thinking up an idea. A little while later at Griffonstone, a griffin named Glida was finishing up on her latest scone sale when her phone started ringing. “Hello losers,” said Glida in her jerky nature. “Well that’s a fine way to treat royalty,’ said a regal feminine voice. “Oh my Princess Celestia,” Glida said in shock. “My apologies your majesty.” “not to worry my little griffin,” assured the feign Celestia. “I was only wondering…is your oven stove on?’ “Uh yes I guess,” replied the griffin in confusion. At the cottage, it is revealed that it was Teryx mimicking the Alicorn princess’s voice using Fluttershy’s phone. “Well does it fit baby?!” Teryx shouted in Celestia’s voice before ending the call. The Avisaurus ended the call while Glida looked onward with bemusement while back at Fluttershy’s cottage, Teryx and Pinkie Pie were laughing wildly while Fluttershy and Dusk simply looked on in slight amusement as the duo’s prank phone call.
