"What are they?" Cadance asked.
"Crimson changelings, they unlike the black changelings are far more fierce and blood thirsty, they drink blood not love and they kill everyone they encounter. But unlike the black ones who had no heart, they do. They can still transform into other ponies to gain intel but they kill that pony in order for no one to blow their cover. And killing that said pony they gain their intel, who they live with, what they behave like, their favourite food, and so on, and the only two ways they can come be be is if Chrysalis bred with a stallion or they breed with a living pony in order to have a heart. They are the elite of the changelings." Thorax said and Cadance was almost sick to her stomach.
"If they got a heart then they can be killed." Spyro said, getting ready for an aerial fight, and before he took off Shining Armor came next to him and looked at the purple dragon and said. "If you help me and my men, I'll rethink about you dragon but until you prove you can be trusted I'm watching you." Spyro nodded and took off with twelve pegasus behind him. As Spyro came at them, they dived towards him, his muzzle crackling with lightning and as they got closer, Spyro hovered where he was and unleashed his breath attack. The blast caught at least two dozen changelings and fried them in seconds. Flying right by him were the pegasus and they started fighting in the air, some had razor blades on their wings and were dealing a great deal of damage to the enemy.
Not liking their brethren getting killed by the crystal ponies the changelings started blasting green magic and once they hit a target, that target fell from the sky dead. The allies started weaving around the magic blasts, low on numbers as it is they can't afford to loose more, some would even place a changeling in front of them so the magic hit it and not them. Spyro was having problems, the changelings would attack him from every direction, knowing that he was the biggest threat in the air. They would attack with their horns, going through his thick scales and drawing blood, they wanted him to die of blood lose and exhaustion. But he knows what was on the line, he curled into an electric shire and those around him where instantly zapped to death. Coming from his shire a changeling charged him but Spyro moved out of the way and caught the red pony by the neck with his jaws and tossed it into a large crowed spitting a fire ball at them, it exploded on impact.
Whatever changeling got pasted the air defense was met with magic blasts from the unicorns on the ground, Cadance having created a suitable platform for the guards so they could have a better line of fire, taking them out with ease as the Princess and Prince were taking aim as well. Any changeling that came within the distance to be struck from the sky was and if the blast didn't kill them the fall did. They started to fire back and when magical beams collided there was a small thunder clap every time. As the changelings started to grow in number, their power was more powerful then the Princesses or so they thought until a light pink blur came from the palace and a light yellow beam headed for them and decimated them and floating where the changelings once were was a light magenta pink alicorn, her mane and tail were light cerise, greyish violet and light arctic blue.
"Flurry Heart what are you doing?!" Shining Armor shouted
"You need me you old goat, you won't admit it but I'm the best you've ever trained. Now summon your shield, mom create holes for the guards magic cannons, I'm going to help in the sky where I'm needed." the young alicorn ordered and took off.
"Well you heard your daughter." Cadance said and Shining sighed
Summoning his famous magic barrier, Shining covered the entire empire with it while Cadance used her magic to open it in some places where the guards summoned magic cannons. Magic cannons are new to the defense line, like a real cannon they fire cannon balls laced with magic but they explode on impact instead of going through things. The young alicorn made a good call as they cannons were forcing the army back. In the sky the pegasus number has dwindled from two dozen to only fourteen left, plus one dragon and he was having trouble staying a float, he lost a lot of blood and was past exhaustion, he was barely staying awake. The pegasus surrounded him in a protection circle and the changelings were closing in an as they summoned their magic for the final blow until a beam of light yellow took out a good chunk of the surrounding changelings and soon Flurry Heart was beside one of the pegasus. "Can you get him to the ground Wind Sheer?"
"I'll try but...what the hell..." Wind Sheer was cut off as Spyro started glowing light purple and took off to the remaining army of crimson changelings and once in the middle of the army Spyro unleashed the signature power of the purple dragon, the power of aether. The blast was more powerful then anyone expected and it desecrated the remaining army and Spyro fell from the sky no longer able to stay afloat. "Oh no you don't!" Flurry Heart said before diving after him, once she got close to him she surrounded him in magic, slowing his fall and placing him on her back. Unfolding her massive wings the young alicorn dashed off towards her home as the shield came down and she landed in the throne room. Medics came rushing in and tended to him right there, as the medics tended to the dragon Flurry Heart saw a red gem laying on the floor, it fell from Spyro. "Hmm...never seen one like this before." As she held it above Spyro the gem slipped from her magic and into Spyro healing a few cuts surprising the alicorn.
Three days after the battle, Cadance was in the throne room two letters floated in front of her, one had a crescent moon seal on it and the other was a plan one. Sitting beside her was her daughter and husband and before her was a dark blue dragoness waiting patently for the Princess to finish reading. "Ok Princess Luna will be making an appearance sometime tomorrow, that's the good news the bad is that the previous battle was only a small taste of whats to come, no doubt sent by Queen Chrysalis." Cadance said then looked at the young dragoness before her. "Your mate will be ok we have our best medics looking after him and should be all good within the week."
"Do you have red gems? They can heal him faster then traditional medicine." Cynder said, getting Cadance's attention.
"Flurry dear can you gather some red gems and give them to the nurse?"
"Yup." With that the young alicorn trotted off, taking a glance at Cynder's backside and off she went.
"Spyro didn't mention much about your background why is that?" Cadance asked and noticed that Cynder was rubbing her arm, a sign that she was uncomfortable.
"It's complicated and I'd rather not talk about my past I'd like to leave it there, in the past." Cynder said, her head hanging low in ashamed of all the terrible things she has done under Malefor's control. Hearing hooves coming from the hall Cynder turned her attention to the doors and Flurry Heart and Thorax came back.
"Nothing worked, we laid them near and on him but nothing." Flurry Heart said, sounding somewhat disappointed.
"Hmm your gems must be different then ours." Cynder thought out loud before asking "How is he doing anyway?"
"Good, still breathing and the wounds are wrapped in bandages but he'll need rest for sure." Thorax answered and Cynder nodded her head in acknowledgement.
"Hey how about I give you a tour of the palace." Flurry Heart said.
"I would love that thanks." Cynder said and the two girls left the throne room and Cadance looked at Thorax and asked. "What else can you tell us about these crimson changelings?"
"Not much else I told you most of what I know three days ago. Having a heart makes them vulnerable to emotions like love and that can change them but that normally takes months to happen. And as you saw in the field easier to kill if you hit the heart but other then that not much else sorry Cadance."
"It's alright my friend and thank you for telling us what you know." Candace said with a warm smile.
Down the hall Flurry Heart was showing Cynder the rooms and they came to a large room, "And this here is the library." Opening the doors Cynder was amazed at the size of the room not to mention the amount of books that were every where. "I spend much of my past time here, like my aunty." Flurry Heart said with a giggle. As Cynder wondered, Flurry was staring at Cynder's backside, checking her out, shaking her head Flurry said to herself, "Why am I looking at her like that? I met her three days ago and already checking her out why? Gotta be her form, nice sleek build, some muscle but not enough to ruin her slim form. Nice round butt, nice curves, sexy sway of the hips....aaarrgghh!! Stop that Flurry Heart stop checking her out."
"Hey you ok?" Cynder asked coming closer to the young alicorn.
"Hmm oh yeah just thinking about where I left a book that's all." She lamely said looking into those emerald orbs of Cynder's seeing a kind passionate dragoness but they also hid a horrible past."
"Ooookay? So are you going to show me some more?"
Flurry Heart nodded and continued to show Cynder around. Night fell and everypony went to their rooms except Cynder who curled up outside the medic room and slept there for the night, worried about her purple dawn.
The following morning Cadance was in the throne room with her daughter holding a meeting with a number of peasants all asking about the attack and as to why are they were keeping dragons here. Cadance was doing her best to calm the peasants down and try to tell them that the dragons mean no harm and that they will be more prepared if the changelings attacked again. Some calmed down others took more convincing to calm down and Flurry heart told them the same as her mother did about the dragons but with more information like her tour with Cynder. "And if she wanted to kill me she had many chances but she didn't, they are our allies here not the enemy."
Many felt that would be true and left feeling somewhat more safe now, knowing that their reptilian guest are friendly and left while others where still weary, all the stories they heard of dragons when they were foals were still there, then came the matter of Spyro's raw power that scared them the most. To defeat a large army like that, you had to be more powerful then Princess Celestia, Goddess of the sun.
After two hours of arguing everypony left, leaving a mentally exhausted Cadance and Flurry Heart. But they did have one point and that was Spyro's power, he told her before he can wield more then one element but he never said anything about his power surpassing her aunts. While Cadance was pondering about the purple dragon, a tapping came from the balcony and Flurry Heart shouted with excitement. "Princess Luna!!" Looking to the balcony doors there was the Princess of the night. Letting her in, Flurry Heart gave Luna a big hug.
"Nice to see you too my dear." Luna said hugging the young alicorn back. releasing her grip Cadance walked up to Luna and noticed some new features on the night alicorn. Instead of her black necklace that had her cutie mark on it, it was now a star silver with an onyx moon on it. Same with her shoes, her crown stayed the same all silver in color with black patterns on them.
"Luna, it's good to see you again." Candace said hugging hugging her aunt as she hugged her in return. "What brings you here?"
"Thought I'd come and visit and it seemed you had quite the meeting judging from the amount of ponies coming out."
Cadance gave a frustrated sigh just from thinking about the meeting. "Tell you what during lunch I'll catch you up on what's been happening here." Cadance offered and Luna excepted the offer.
Near the medical room Flurry Heart was walking by until she saw Cynder curled up by the door still sound asleep. Walking up to the sleeping dragoness Flurry gentle shook Cynder getting her to stir. "mmm uh wha...?" Looking up she saw the alicorn.
"Time for lunch if your hungry."
Cynder stretched cat like and followed Flurry to the dinning room and was shocked at what she saw.

After settling in at the table, Cynder was open to conversation and soon found herself becoming friends with the princess of the night and she saw a lot of herself in the young dragoness. "Did it hurt?" Luna asked getting everyone's attention before she covered up her question. "When you landed in the fields upon arrival?"
"Oh I don't think so as we were already unconscious at the time but waking up was painful." Cynder said looking at Luna she saw what Luna saw in her and she nodded to the original question she asked. Even after lunch the group stayed there, having some tea and snacks and talked some more. Luna told them that she has new ponies being trained to join her night guards. Most of them were bat ponies but a few were regular earth ponies and pegasus. As everyone left Cynder and Luna sat there and Luna spoke. "So you didn't tell them that you were corrupted?"
"Why would I? There is no need to bring it up. Nobody knows of it and I don't want them too." She somewhat growled.
"No need to get upset I noticed it because I myself have been down that road except you were corrupted by force and had no choice, I let my emotions get the better of me and corrupted myself."
"Please don't tell anyone I don't want them to fear me like the monster I once was."
"Your secret is safe with me."
"Thank you."
But un-none to them Flurry Heart was eaves dropping and was shocked at how much they were alike but she will keep Cynder's secret as well.
In the forest near the Galloping Gorge, a teal colored stallion was chained to the wall of a hidden base, but instead of skin and bone he was perfectly healthy, his stallionhood showing, cum was leaking from it, showing that it has been used. "I must say that never gets old." came a females voice. Coming from the shadows was a blue pegasus and she had a pleased smile on her face.
"Please Christin let me go we've been dating for six months now. You know I'll be back for more." the stallion said with a seductive smile.
"I suppose." the female sighed and unlocked the stallion and he gave her a kiss before walking off and has he did, he didn't notice that she transformed from pegasus to the Queen of the changeling, Chrysalis. "Oh he's been useful plenty." she said looking over her new hive, hidden by magic and is only seen once she transforms. Down below were hundreds of crimson changelings and now she had a new batch within her. It takes six weeks to lay the eggs after she's done mating with who ever she wishes, and so far she has been using her teal breeder for all of them. "Soon I'll command the biggest army Equestria has ever seen."
"Size is one thing but how you use your army is another." came a deep raspy voice startling the changeling queen.
"Who's there? How did you get in here?
"Why by the shadows of course. I sense great anger in you, you want revenge on those who done you wrong. Allow me to help for I to want revenge on a certain dragon. You help me I help you.
Chrysalis was amazed by his silver words and couldn't help herself but to ask. "And who is this dragon and how can you help me?"
Coming from the shadows was a massive dragon, scales black as night, his dark purple underside tainted with corruption, his eyes, jewels from hell itself and a scorpion blade at the end of his tail. "I know how to conquer the world, in my realm I ruled three quarters of it until I was defeated by a purple dragon named Spyro and he too is here, in the crystal empire."
"Interesting for I have a grudge against its ruler for defeating me and I want revenge on her."
"Then let's make a truce. I'm Shadow former Dark Lord of the dragon realm."
"Chrysalis the new queen of the crimson changelings."
A week has past and at the crystal empire everypony was warming up to Cynder, who has been wandering the town for a while since Spyro is still in recovery and she didn't like being cooped upon in the palace. Sometimes she would spread her wings and fly through the mountains and enjoy the cool breeze rushing past her. One day she sat on one of the mountains and thought about the young alicorn, it didn't go unnoticed that she was checking her out. It unsettled the dark blue dragoness that a mare was checking her out and she knows she has a mate so the question was why? "Greetings sister of the night." Looking to her right, Cynder saw Luna.
"Hey Luna."
"What troubles thee?"
"It's Flurry Heart, lately she's been checking me out and it's kinda creepy to have a mare none the less check me out."
Luna was taken aback from this news. "Are you certain it's her?"
Cynder nodded her head and Luna was puzzled like Cynder. Why would a mare like Flurry Heart check out Cynder instead of the possible colt friends in the town. Before anyone could speak, Cynder shuddered and her eye's narrowed, she knows this feeling all to well. "Come on out Shadow I know it's you!" Emerging from the shadows was a black dragon with yellow/orange eyes looking right at the young dragoness
"Well well look at how much you've grown my dear."
"Save your silver tongue for others it won't work on me now get lost or I'll make you."
Shadow smiled a toothy grin and fired a shadow laced fireball. Cynder dodged it and went to attack him with a fire ball of her own, only it fazed right through him. Smirking to herself Cynder breathed her shadow fire and that hit her mark getting Shadow to howl in pain but he swiped at her but with her being smaller then him, she was more agile in the air and she hit him again. Breathing a fire ball Shadow's attacked grazed Cynder's back and exploded on the mountain side, luckily Luna placed a shield around her in time before the impact. Sensing something was a miss Cynder halted for a minute, Shadow wasn't even trying and he always prefer to give it his all so his opponent can face him at their best in a fair fight. Wanting to end this quickly Cynder unleashed her dark fury and that made Shadow go find cover and as she unleashed it he was gone just milliseconds before it hit him. "Quickly we must make hast to the empire." Cynder shouted and the princess soon followed.
Coming back to the empire everything seemed....calm? Something wasn't right, using shadow vision Cynder scanned the area for any hidden enemies but nothing, it didn't make any sense. "What is he up to?" Cynder asked herself.
"Cynder what or should I say who was that?"Luna asked
"I'll tell you once we find Cadance." Luna nodded and they headed to the throne room and sitting on her throne board to tears was Cadance. "Cadance I need to tell you something." The urgency in Cynder's voice showed how important this was.
"Go on"
"In the mountains we encountered an old foe of mine and Spyro's, his name is Shadow, Dark Lord of the hellish land once called Ered Gorgoroth, better known as the Mountains of Terror, located between the Wicked Thicked Jungle, Black Reach cove and Cindin Slopes. But before he was the first dark lord, he was a guardian, a protector of the lands in the dragon realm. Over time he betrayed his brothers and sisters at arms and turned the lands of Wicked Thicked in his dominion by enslaving or killing those who oppose him. He was killed by an ally of ours many moons ago but was resurrected by followers, bringing him back to the living. He then created the dark army, made up of trolls, orcs, hero orcs, drakes from the North joined his army and he started on a crusade to rule the world and he succeeded by ruling three-quarters of our world. He has a silver tongue that can turn most dragons on each other, manipulative, cunning and very powerful in both dark element's, that's my specialties, and dark magic. We had to face him before he could repeat his last attempt in taking over. We thought that after nine hard fought months that we won after blasting him with aether and stabbing his heart but I guess not." Cynder hung her head and leaned against Spyro, who made his way in the room halfway through Cynder's speech.
"But know that he's back he must have some kind of plan to rule your world as well but to do so he needs a strong , loyal army to do this. And not just any army one that can fight against dragons." Spyro added and Cadance looked at him in terror as she caught the last part.
"The crimson changelings." she whispered and Spyro nodded.
Back in Chrysalis' lair Shadow has told the changeling about Spyro and Cynder and what they are capable over. "So a dragon more powerful the the ruler of Equestria and he has a loved one. This just got interesting but everything will need to be timed well. If we want to rule the world the alicorns must go and we can do that once we get them all in the same place."
"And make the crystal empire their tombs." Shadow finished her sentence and she smiled.
"Now that we got the females attention time to pay Celestia a visit. Care to be my date for the Grand Galloping Galla next week?"
"Wouldn't miss it."
The next couple of days Cadance has told her aunt about what has happen in her kingdom and asked if her guests can attend the Galla two days from now. After some waiting Celestia replied.
Dear Cadance
Luna has told me all about your guests and would be honored to have them at this years Grand Galloping Galla, I requested that Rarity comes to see them and design proper wear for the occasion, she'll be there with in two hours after this letter. Luna has also told me about the crimson changelings attack and we'll have double protection on the night of the Galla.

At the train station Cadance was waiting for Ponyville's fashion designer to come by and sure enough Ponyville's train pulled up and ponies were coming off board but one of them caught Cadance's eye, a white unicorn with a curly purple mane and tail. "Darling so wonderful to see you again." came Rarity's regal voice.
"Hello Rarity." Cadance greeted the white mare and they kissed each other on the cheek then shared a giggle. "I was told that I will be designing and making proper Galla wear for two guests of yours is that correct?"
"It is and please don't fuse too much they are new here."
"Don't worry darling I'll be on my best behavior." Rarity said and they walked off to the palace and Cadance couldn't wait to see Rarity's reaction towards the dragons. Inside Cadance took Rarity to the dragons bedroom where she'll be doing her work without disturbance and as expected Rarity let loose a scream once she saw the dragons. "Wha...how....what?" Taking a few calming breathes Rarity calmed herself before saying. "When did they come here? and why?"
"Will here's the short story, they were out flying in their home world, got pulled into a vortex, landed here and has been here for the past week and a half now."
"Oh....well then I shall get to work, let us start with the female....you are a female right darling?"
"Yes last I checked." Cynder said a hint a sarcasm in her voice.
"Step forward please." Cynder did what was asked of her and Rarity started taking measurements, it somewhat unnerved Cynder.
"What is she doing?"
"Taking proper measurements so your clothes can fit you properly now please stand still." Rarity answered. While she measured the dragoness she talked to herself to see what colors would look best on Cynder. She already had the magenta pink underbelly, complementing her dark blue scales and she didn't want to hide her beautiful gold and silver bracelet that had a clouded ruby in the center, which Rarity drooled over. Rarity wanted something to really bring out her beautiful emerald eyes and her sleek figure. She settled with a light toned purple to go with her dark blue scales, then she pulled out some paper and a pencil and started drawing. The final design was a dress that had two toned purple dress, dark on top and light at the bottom, the dress itself started at the chest, making it's way along her underbelly, leaving the top just behind the shoulders exposed then it blossomed out covering her hind legs and part of her tail. The arms had sleeves that reached just below the armpits and had the same two tone going. Golden trim from the chest to behind the back and along the waist, a deep violet collar with a light purple heart that connects to the top of the dress and a purple flower on her top right horn.
"How's this dear?"
"It's beautiful I love it already."
"Thank you now for the dashing male please." Spyro stepped forward while Cynder stepped back and Rarity did the same procedure she did with Cynder, get his measurements and talk to herself about colors for the suit, something to bring out his will masculine body. And she soon realized that their natural colors complemented each other so Rarity began working on the suit, something that would complement Cynder's dress. The final design was similar to the dress in color tones dark blue on top, light at the bottom, a silver under shirt and "belt" around the waist and the end splits in to two ends that stop off at the knees. His sleeves were connected to the suit and the suit itself had silver buttons."
"What do you think love?"
"It's perfect, but can you add an emerald necklace?"
"Sure thing dear, now I must get to work on these pronto. Cadance dear you wouldn't happen to have...."
"Way ahead of you Rarity, if you'll just follow me. All the fabrics, jewels and tools you'll need are waiting for you."
"Why thank you" The two mares walked off leaving Spyro and Cynder alone.
"So what now?" Spyro asked looking at Cynder. She had a seductive smile on her face, not having her midnight fun like she wanted she now knew where they could have it without disturbing anypony. "Lead the way Cyn." The two took off towards the Crystal Mountains for their alone time.

It was early morning in Ponyville and inside Twilight's castle, the gang was having Spike's famous breakfast, all but two said dragons who were still sound asleep. When Spike saw the dragons last night, he couldn't believe his eyes at first but then he was amazed that Twilight brought them here. Spike has grown quite a bit, he now walks on both two and four legs (mostly four now.) His muzzle has lengthened, he hasn't developed wings, instead his attacks are much faster then other dragons, he's longer then Celestia but not as tall, yet but he is still small for a dragon of his age. "Hey Twi, why aren't our guests here for breakfast?" The question got Twilight's attention, she thought for sure they would have been here by now. "Good question, Applejack can you go check on them please."
"Sure thing sugarcube." Leavening her seat at the table, the orange coated mare walked through the hallway until she was outside the dragons room. Knocking three times to let them know she was at the door but no-one answered, opening the door quietly she found them cuddled together, Cynder had her head resting on Spyro's neck, using him as a pillow. Smiling at the sight, the country pony backed away and closed the door and headed back to eat. "Well...?" Twilight asked and Applejack replied, "They were cuddling so I let them be." the girls cooed at the image then Spike asked. "So what's the plan for the day Twi?"
"Will I want to ask our guests about dragons, see if I can't get more detail into their world and themselves, it may even help Spike with somethings to be more dragon like. Learn about their muscle, skeletal systems and all that."
Everyone rolled their eyes, they should have known better then to ask, it was Twilight after all and with dragons they should have seen that coming from a mile away. "What!?" was all she could ask before they continued eating.
Around noon the young couple got up and tried to make their way for lunch but with so many doors, and a new castle entirely they got lost for a while, that is until a white and blue earth pony bumped into them. "On your way to lunch?" he asked and they nodded before following him. "Aren't you...um...Applejack's mate?" Cynder asked
"Not quite I'm her coltfriend, the names Hector." He led the dragons to the dining room where they were greeted a rather hyper pink pony. "THIS IS SO EXCITING WE HAVE DRAGONS IN THE CASTLE WILL I MEAN WE HAVE A DRAGON HERE BUT NOT FROM A WHOLE NEW WORLD! HAVE YOU TWO EVER HAVE A PARTY CAUSE I'LL GIVE YOU THE BEST PARTY YOU'LL EVER HAVE." And after that she was gone in near seconds, leaving two very confused dragons her rant was so fast she could rival Volteer's waging tongue.
"And I thought Volteer spoked fast." Cynder said getting Spyro to laugh
"Sorry about Pinkie Pie she was holding her excitement at the party so we knew she would go off like that. She always welcomes new comers with one of her famous welcoming parties." Twilight said with an apologetic smile.
"It's quite alright, so whats the plan for the day?" Spyro asked.
"Will first you two should eat something then I would like to ask you two some questions if that is alright.?"
"Yeah and when she means "some" she really means a lot of questions." Rainbow Dash said with a smile, then she laughed as Twilight raised her voice at her with annoyance.
"Cadance did warn us about you asking questions." Spyro joked and Twilight blushed. As they sat at the table, Spyro was feeding Cynder frozen blueberries, her favourite kind, something that caught Spike off guard as he was going to prepare some gems for them, and Twilight was writing that down. "Soooo....um...what do I cook for you two?" the purple and green dragon asked.
"You wouldn't have some fish would you?" Cynder asked and Rarity and Fluttershy nearly went sick green as Cynder asked for meat and Spike shook his head "Sorry no we don't." Cynder pouted, she really wanted fish.
"How about more blue berries and some cantaloupe?" Spyro asked
"Yeah we got lots of those" Spike replied and went to the fridge and brought out their requests and handed it to them. After having their fill of fruits and the girls headed home, the young dragons follows Twilight and Spike to a large room, not much was in it except extra writing supplies and scrolls. Plenty of room for them to fly circles in the room and not hit each other, and use their elemental breathes at only a quarter of their true power, so nothing gets damaged or burned. "Ok to start with I'm just going to draw you, if you can stand facing each other with your wings opened that would be great." The dragons did what was asked of them and stood facing each other as the young alicorn sketched them, getting every detail of their bodies. Twilight had two different scrolls and quills going at the same time, but on each sheet was one dragon, finishing her sketches she then measures their bodies length, height, and wingspan.
Spyro being the tallest of the two he was slightly smaller then Celestia, making him around 5'10" and two and a half ponies long, making him taller and longer then Spike. His wingspan was clearly larger then Celestia's by half a wingspan. As she moved around Spyro, she couldn't help but to feel his scaly body and to her surprise it was rather soft and smooth, with the occasional scar dent, she could feel his well toned muscles flex under his scales and it turned her to pudding, but she regained her compassion before they noticed.
Then she moved to Cynder and being the smaller of the two, she could easily snuggle her head under Spyro's chin without him moving it too much for her making her 5'8". She was clearly smaller then her mate but just as long if not longer by a few inches from her blade. Her wingspan wasn't as long but it was larger then Celestia's. Twilight also noticed that she had smooth scales but with fewer scars, but one thing she was careful around with were her scythe like blades on her wings and tail. The tail blade was around sixteen and a half inches long and that unnerved Twilight but she continued on.
After doing the measurements now was time for the questions she has been dying to as. "Ok so I'm going to start with simple ones before we get into more detailed ones if that's ok, oh and you can sit or lay down now, just know I will be sketching every pose you do."
Cynder looked at Spyro before nodding for the Princess to continue with her progress. They both laid down and Twilight kept to her word then she asked. "How old are you two?"
"Eighteen, I'm a few months older then Cynder." Spyro replied
"How long have you two been together?"
"Um as a couple or known each other?" Cynder asked.
"Both" Twilight was quick to respond.
"We've known each other since we were ten years old and we've been together for what two and a half years?" Cynder asked and Spyro nodded to confirm.
"What are your elements?"
"Oh where to begin?" Spyro chuckled "I have fire, ice, water, earth, lightning or electricity, wind, light, and the purple dragon signature breath called aether." Spyro answered and Cynder was right after him. " And I have poison, fear, wind, shadow, and fire, but Spyro can over power mine, some how... light and aether as well."
Twilight was shocked to hear that they can wield more then one element like other dragons. "Ummm how can you both wield more then one element?"
"Being a purple dragon, a rare dragon on our world, I can wield all the elements, provided I get the proper training to control them without letting that kind of power corrupt me. And as for Cynder...well..." he looked at her and she continued where he left off. "I was corrupted by the Dark Master, the first Purple dragon and he gave me some of those elements. When I was twelve years old his dark army captured me and brought me to his lair, that is where his right hand commander corrupted me since Malefor was locked away during that time. I spend three years under his control and I'm not proud of all the things I've done. After Spyro freed me from his grip we went on a two year war against him and the ape lord Gaul and won the war." Cynder hung her head and Spyro draped a wing over his mate and pulled her in so she could lean on him. "Please don't tell the others."
"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Twilight and Spike said doing the motions. "How rare are purple dragons?" Spike asked, looking at Spyro.
"The prophecy said that a purple dragon is born once every ten generations, or five hundred years in our years." Spyro answered and both Twilight and spike's eyes widen with shock. "Five hundred years" Spike mouthed and Spyro nodded.
"How often do you two mate?"
"TWILIGHT!!!" Spike shouted shocked that she would even ask such a question. "Isn't that kinda personal?!"
"Sorry..." she said sheepishly, going red in the face. Spyro and Cynder giggled at that, and they didn't even have an answer to that, two years is a long time and room for plenty of fun times. "Ummm...moving on how many eggs can a female carry?"
"Will it's a bit complicated, you see a dragoness can decide when to have a family once she finds the right mate because back in the olden days, males could pick any female,impregnate them and leave and do it with another female. But over the years females have developed the new protection, if you will, to stop unwanted sperm to fertilize her eggs until she's ready to have eggs. The timing has to be right for her and when she knows she has little ones, it takes two months minimum to develop the eggs and another two or so months for them to hatch. As for the eggs it can rang from one to six far as I know. And to answer you previous question, we have mated a few times, the precise number we don't know we never really counted."
"So you no longer go into heat?"
"Oh no we still go into heat, every second month once we come of age, we just can't get pregnant as easily as before."
Twilight scribbled everything down and asked ,"So it's more of thinking about when it's right then"
"Yes and once the male releases his sperm in us, we have to hold on to that though for a day or it won't happen."
"Interesting and you two aren't parents?"
"Not yet." Cynder said with a sly smile.
The day became evening and Twilight was getting lots of information about dragons from the young couple, from the guardians, to elemental breaths, the different species of dragons and their elements, the foes their race had faced through out the centuries, their allies. They allowed Twilight to use her magic to scan them and she sketched their muscle and skeletal systems and they helped her with the names of each muscle and bone in their body and how they functioned. The evening grew darker by the minute and the dragons thought they were done for the day but Twilight couldn't help abut ask a sensitive question. "Can I...um...see your...mating parts.?" The two dragons were taken aback from such a question and Spike was doing his evening chores when the question was asked. The young couple looked at each other wondering if they should allow such a thing, to let someone else see, maybe even touch their secret parts. "Can you give us a moment?" Cynder asked and Twilight left the room, closing the door behind her.
"Should we let her see our parts? I mean it wouldn't kill us but..." Cynder said
"But it's kind of an odd thing for someone to ask, and the fact that they know little about dragons it was bound to come up some time. I don't see a major problem with it but as long she is careful not to do anything that could harm us down there I say get it out of the way now and show her our attacks tomorrow." Spyro said and Cynder was thinking it over.
"As long as the other stays here I'm fine with it."
Spyro nodded and called for Twilight to come in. "We have agreed that you can look and touch our parts, but don't do anything that could harm us." Spyro warned and the purple mare nodded. Cynder was the first to present herself, laying flat on her back and showing her glistering sex, just the sight alone got Spyro aroused. "With you by my side, how can I not have a good sleep?" Cynder replied, slowly sitting up on her mate. Looking down she smile at the mess they made from last night. " Shall we get cleaned up?"
"We should." Spyro said. Cynder slipped of her mate and he rolled to his paws and the two walked down the hall. After a while they forgot that they didn't get a good look at every room, luckily for them Spike was coming down the other way. "Morning you two." he greeted them with a warm smile. "Looking for something?"
"Yeah the bathrooms." Cynder said
"Round the corner and third door on your left."
"Thank you...um you don't mind staying here till we come out for breakfast would you?"
"No problem just don't take to long." he smiled at the two.
The two headed down the path Spike told them and sure enough they found the bathroom, or more like the pool room. The bath itself was massive and there was a door that led to the toilet. Cynder didn't even wait for Spyro and jumped in, the water was warm and she was enjoying the warm water. Spyro jumped in and the two swam around before stopping in the shallow end Cynder came up behind Spyro and reached around him, rubbing his golden chest-scales with her wet paws. He smiled but didn't pull away. She came around in front of him and he lay against the wall, and she slowly and lovingly cleaned him off. When she was done with his hind legs she turned and started to edge away, but she heard him splash in the water behind her and stop her with a strong but gentle paw.
"I will return the favor," he said with a smile, and she grinned at him a bit seductively as she lay against the bank, giving herself to his caring touch as he carefully rubbed her from the neck down, constantly re-wetting his paws to make sure she was clean. She closed her eyes with a smile as he tenderly rubbed her blue and pink scales. He grinned slyly at her and rubbed her tail-base, and she jumped and looked at him.
"Hey, you, we just got done last night," she said, but she said it with a playful look on her face. He grinned back at her and slowly and gently washed off her tail-base and hind legs when he was done with her magenta pink underbelly. When he was fully done he sat back in the water, and she came over and hugged him tightly, giving him a kiss.
"Spyro...I love you more than anything else in the world," she said with a happy sigh.
"And the same goes for me to you," he replied, and she nuzzled joyfully against his face as the water slowly flowed around them. They stayed there until Cynder began to shiver from the temperature of the water, and Spyro carried her out of the tube. They shook themselves off and decided to head down for breakfast. As they walked, Cynder had her head against Spyro's shoulder, letting him guide her as they casually walked down the hall. They saw Spike sitting right where they left him.
"Enjoy the tube pool?" he said with a smirk.
"Yes, but not in the sense your thinking, it was a nice tube to soak in." Cynder replied
The trio headed down to the dining room and once they were there the saw Applejack sitting at the table talking with Twilight. "Mornin' sugar cube I dropped off them apple fritters ya asked for. Oh an Cynder, mind if I borrow Spyro for the day?"
"Thanks AJ" Spike said before going to the kitchen.
"Sure that gives me time to show Twilight my elements in action."
"Thanks sugar and when ever your ready Spyro just say so."
"Lets go."
Applejack smiled at Spyro's enthusiasm to help and off they went while Twilight led Cynder to a safe place to show off her power. The earth pony led Spyro to her family's farm and coming to the cross, there was a tree house and right below it were three mares. One was a light yellow color with a red mane, done up in a braid with a pink bow at the top, she wore a green bandana around her neck, her amber eyes stood out against her coat, her voice was similar to Applejack's. Another was a snow white with a two toned mane, light purple and pink, her green eyes shined like emeralds, her voice had a melody tone to it, she also had a horn on her head. And the last one was a light orange with a deep reddish-pink mane, wings folded against her sides, her voice seemed normal compared to the others. Her purples eyes glancing in their direction.
"Hey ya big sis." The yellow one said walking up to Applejack and giving her a hug "What are you up to?"
"Nice to see you Applebloom. Not much just got a helping paw to move that blasted boulder." Applejack replied then looked at the purple dragon. "Spyro this is my youngest sister Applebloom, and her friends Sweetie belle, her Sister is Rarity, and Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash's adopted sister. Girls this is Spyro a friend of Cadance's and others."
"Cool. Its nice to meet you Spyro hope you will stay for a while." Applebloom said looking over the purple male before her. "And I must admit for a dragon your cute."
The other two giggled at that before she make a comment, "Hey it's no different then you Sweetie belle, you got a thing for a certain purple and green dragon."
By now the white unicorn was silent and Scootaloo was on the floor laughing. "No fair cheap shot." She complained before they all laughed. Applejack joined in for moment before she and the others headed to the farm.
Arriving at the farm, Spyro was amazed by all the apple trees they had but what really caught his eyes was the giant red barn in the center of it all that read "Sweet Apple Acres." They came across a bare path of earth to the south. The column of apple trees paused at the edge, the soft earth stretching over a couple of acres, beneath a clear blue sky. Applejack was waiting for the two to join her, before she pointed with one foreleg to the center of the plots of land. Eyes adjusted on a dull, gray mass protruding from the ground, a deep trench surrounding the mass. Broken ropes, chains and even some cart axles, littered the ground around the object. Spyro glanced at the lifeless thing before looking to the pony with a puzzled expression.
"We purchased these plots of land back in fall. After Winter Wrap-Up, the ground was soft enough to start sowin apple seeds. Things were looking up... till we hit that hunk of rock sittin right there. That boulder goes deep, real deep. An we tried everythin to budge that infernal thing. All we got to show for it is broken gear, sore backs, a few twisted hooves and even some short tempers. All that while that varmint continues ta sit pretty an taunt us."
Applejack turned to look over Spyro,"So...think ya can handle that big ol brute out there?"
Spyro smiled at the challenge,"No problem just give me a few moments first."
The dragon headed out into the fields and started to circle the huge boulder. Applejack sat and watched, hearing the sounds of heavy hooves treading the ground. Big Mac joined her in silence, his eyes casting over to the odd lot in the middle of the acre. He looked back to his sister, whom merely tipped her hat.
"Ah know yer thinkin, its too big a job for that guy. But something tells me he can do it."
"Hope you know what yer doing." the red stallion said.
Applejack gave a light shrugged as she continued to watch them,"Ah hope so to, I truly do."
Spyro spent the last five minutes just looking at the boulder. His claws dug into the earth, bringing up a few clumps to sniff the earthly scents it held. He crumbled it within his claws, feeling it slip back to the ground before him, then took one last look over at the edge, to where Applejack and the other mares and now a red pony now sat. His eyes closed, mentally picturing this obstruction and what to make of it. Nodding quietly to himself.
Spyro felt the currents within him. Breathing slowly he focused this into his core like many times before, giving it shape and focus. Once the dragon felt he had gathered enough, the eyes snapped open and he retreated a few steps back. Breathing slowly, he channeled his power up into his chest, taking a deeper breath then usual. Back at the edge, Applejack, the former CMC and Big Mac could feel suttle tremors beneath their hooves, the feeling of a gathering power converging out in the fields before them. Eyes widened, they followed this "trail" and found the source: Spyro.
He opened his mouth and a green orb was spat forth. The five spectators watched as it traveled in a soft arch and made contact with the huge boulder.
CRACK-KOOM!
Big Mac yelped and pulled his sister down for cover, as did the CMC, the upper portion of the rock shattered into small gravel, pieces raining down like stone hail. Spyro didn't stop there. As the upper half was demolished, the lower half still needed to be uproot. Channeling his power once more, he buried his claws into the ground, sending a surge of earthen force to shove the remains up from the trenches that was dug around it. Once the lower half of the boulder was above ground level, Spyro "shifted" and the earth moved the last hunk over onto the side. Once settled, he withdrew his paws and the earth sunk back into the earthen void left by the huge rock, filling the gap. He spat another green orb, smaller then the first one and again, it contacted with the boulder. A sharp crack! sounded as the lower half splintered into slivers and more manageable pieces.
"Laaaaandsakes. That was...I mean...whoooooooweeeeeeeee! Dang Spyro, what they feed you back home? Thunder n Lightnin?"
"Ya call this nothing?! Ahm wonderin if its a good idea to ask ya what a big job would be like."
"You don't want to know."
They laughed at Spyro's remark before they headed in for lunch.

As the day progress on the farm, Spyro had offered to help with the apples by flying overhead and blasting them down with his wind breath into the buckets below, making the longest chore they have one of the shortest they had. By the time all the chores were done it was evening, Sweetie belle and Scootaloo headed home while Spyro and the apple family headed inside. The apple sisters made a big dinner for the boys and themselves and as they ate they talked, shared stories and laughs, then Spyro asked, "So who are the mates to the others, I only saw them once but didn't got to truly meet them."
"Will the white and blue one is mine, His name is Hector, he's a blacksmith for the royal army. Rarity married a stallion named fancy pants, an older stallion but he treats her well. Fluttershy married Discord, he was that multi creature at the Galla you saw, he has some powerful magic being the former Lord of chaos but know he's all good. With a weird sense of humour. Pinkie Pie is with Cheese sandwich, both are party ponies so they are always making party plans for any and every pony. Twilight got herself a blue and gold pegasus name Zephyr, a guard from the lunar republic, Luna's personal and hoof picked elite guards. Great, great stallion, and he treats her very will." She blushed at the few times she caught them making out. "And Rainbow Dash married Soarin, a member of the wonderbolts like Dash and they were always challenging each other, so they were a couple before any of the rest got our special ponies. Now tell us about you and Cynder."
"Who's Cynder?" Applebloom asked
"Cynder is my mate and she is a wonderful dragoness, always in a happy mood, but it wasn't always like that, she had a very dark past. I don't want to say too much but to put it simply she was corrupted by the Dark Master, Malefor, the first purple dragon that we know of. He had Cynder captured at the age 12, corrupted her, made her general of his army for 3 years of her life. Three years she has only known anger, fear and terror until I freed her then we went to war a year later to defeat Malefor and after about two years later was the war against Shadow, the first Dark lord of our time and after that she has been the happiest dragoness ever. She is cunning, intelligent, witty, resourceful, brave, spirited, determined, independent, and isn't afraid to speak her mind."
The girls cooed at the last part and felt sorry for all the hard times she went though then something jumped into Applejack's head, "So that one song at the Galla that was literally your story."
Spyro nodded and yawned as the evening was turning to night, and then came a voice from the front door. "Honey I'll meet you in bed."
"OK Hector." Applejack said, then looked at her sister, "Would you be ok if Spyro stayed with you?"
Applebloom tried to hide her excitement when her sister asked that question. "Sure he can sleep with me" She sat up and led Spyro to her room down the hall way. Opening her wooden door Spyro saw that her room was an earth green, olive drab ceiling, dresser with pink heart handles, mirror trim, night stand, with a teal blue lamp, cabinet, a queen size bed, posts and ceiling included, light peach blanket with swirls and apples on it. Same color for the bed ceiling, only with hearts on it, and a window at the far end.
"Wow this is a big room you got." Spyro said amazed by the size of her room
"Thanks glade you like it, I had to move it so Applejack can rebuild hers so she and Hector can sleep together. Please make yourself comfortable."
Making his way to the bed, Spyro climbed onto the bed and laid down onto of the blanket and Applebloom jumped up and cuddled beside him, he didn't flinch nor make any move to push her away instead he draped a wing over her. Once she got comfortable, Applebloom stared to tell Spyro about herself and the adventures that she and her friends did to gain their cutie marks, and what they've been doing after the got them. Naturally curious, Spyro asked what the significance was about the cutie marks.
"They tell us what our destiny is, what we're good at, for example Twilight, she has the magic symbol meaning she is very talented with any form of magic. My sister like everyone else here has an apple cutie mark making her an apple farmer, Rarity got hers when she improved her plays costumes. We normally earn our cutie marks when we are about ten years old if not a little younger." Applebloom yawned and snuggled into Spyro and fell asleep. Smiling he curled himself around her and let sleep consume him.
Morning came around and at the other end of Ponyville Twilight and Cynder were on a hillside not to far from her castle, writing down everything Cynder was telling her about her poison and fear elements, since yesterday she went through her wind, shadow, fire and light abilities. Yesterday Twilight had wonderful day watching and listening to Cynder explain and show her how the elements work, and how they can be manipulated if they are low on energy. Asking about her light element Cynder explained that a friend helped her and Spyro find that power and trained them to harness it. Today were the last two she didn't get to.
"Like my shadow ability these two were given to me when I was corrupted but unlike the other elements these two are a little more harsh on my throat when I use them too often and you'll see why." Cynder said waiting for Twilight's magical dummies to attack her. Commanding her dummies to attack, Twilight readied her quill and scroll. As the dummies advanced towards her, Cynder let loose a poison breath, (like in the ds version of dotd) taking out three in a row. A small group closed in around her and she spat an acid glob on one and it spread to the remaining five around it. The remaining ten surrounded her, taking to the sky, Cynder did quick somersaults, her bladed tail laced with poison slashed through the rest.
Twilight caught every detail on paper and did a few side drawings once Cynder was finished. Taking a small break and drinking some water to soothe her throat. Twilight got another twenty dummies ready for the dark blue dragoness and with little warning she let out her siren scream, and dummy near her fell to the ground like stones. "Normally they would just run away." Looking at the rest she fired ghostly red orbs that circled the dummies. Once they were stunned, the orbs exploded on impact taking them out.
"Wow Cynder that was amazing, no wonder your enemies fear you, your a force to be reckon with." When Twilight said that something snapped in Cynder.
"Fear you....You are the black dragon...Cynder. The terror of the skies. The Queen of terror herself." Voices started talking to her, bringing back her past, then one voice above the rest spoke to her directly.
"Did you really think in that helping defeat Malefor, and mate with the purple dragon, Spyro would clean all the innocent blood you have spilled?" The voice asked. Looking down at her paws, they were covered in blood and oozed up her arms. Looking back the same thing was happening with her tail and wings. "You should have been a dark red instead of blue it really suits you."
"This this isn't the real me!" Cynder screamed.
"Oh no...? Then what is this?" Images began to show up. She stabbing Terrador to weaken him, slamming Cyril into a stone wall, rendering him unconscious. Giving Volteer a small dose of venom to subdue him, her fight with Ignitus before capturing him. Then images of her facing soldiers and killing innocent civilians with no mercy.
"I believe THAT is you my dear. Face it you are a monster always will be no matter what you do, you can't hide from it."
In the real world Twilight was confused by Cynder's sudden change of behavior. "Hey Twi, how are things?" Cadence asked as she and Flurry Heart landed beside her. She then notice Cynder crying. "Um did we miss something?"
"I can't explain it, one moment she was having a blast with the dummies the next she just froze."
Cadence walked up to the distressed dragoness. "Cynder are you alright?"
Looking up she then backed way when she saw the very dragon who brought misery to her life, Malefor. "You...? But your dead how can you be here?" She looked behind him and saw Gaul the ape king,(Twilight) and a corrupted Spyro,(Flurry Heart) "No you are all gone, LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" She then rushed at Malefor and tossed him a few distances away then launched at Gaul, only to be blasted by his staff, fazing her.
Flurry heart took the opportunity and tackled Cynder and said, "We are not your...." she stopped when she noticed that her eyes were pure white. Cynder kicked the young alicorn off her and blasted wind at her.
Twilight shot another beam of magic, but Cynder fazed into shadow, seeing this first hand, Twilight moved out of the way of an upper cut, but the blades on Cynder's wings caught her side. Landing on all fours, she then turned and punched Twilight in the ribs, hard. Screaming in agony, Twilight hit the ground holding her ribs. Walking over to where Flurry heart was she lifted her tail, going for the killing blow.
As her tail came down, Cadence tackled from behind and the two wrestled, having the strength and combat advantage, Cynder pinned Cadence but she landed a hard blow to the dragonesses chest. Angered by that, Cynder clamped her jaws down hard on the princesses forearm, breaking the bone like a twig. Screaming as she felt her bone snap, she used her will power to kick the dragoness off, landing a solid kick to her stomach. Getting up from the blow to the gut, Cynder summoned one of her elements and fired a acid ball at Cadence. Thinking on her feet, Cadence created a shield just in time as the acid hit the shield.
While distracted with Cadence, Flurry heart shot Cynder off her mom and pinned the possessed dragoness down. Struggling to free herself, Flurry heart planted a kiss on Cynder's lips, this surprised her and her eyes changed back to normal, breaking away Flurry saw her emeralds looking at her with complete shock in them. But before they could do anything her eyes turned back to white and the force that had Cynder came back more fierce then before. Raising her wings, Cynder stabbed Flurry Heart right where her wing muscles are and tore them, head butting the alicorn off her, Cynder got up and tail whipped her. The force of the impact was enough to send her into her mother.
Twilight came running but Cynder waited, and waited until she was in range, with the Cresent nook in her tail, she caught Twilight's leg and with a swipe pulled out from under the lavender mare and dislocated it.
Backing off Cynder tried to fight the force controlling her, breaking free for a moment she warned them, "Don't follow me for your own safety...I'm so sorry please forgive me." She the took to the sky heading towards the Everfree forest.
The legend of spyro: world's crossing
High noon Spyro and Applebloom were on their way to Twilight's castle, Applebloom was still glowing from last night. "Spyro, last night was a blast. I hope we..." She was interrupted as Spyro put a finger on her lips as he picked up a faint sent. Taking deeper breaths, he tried to find the source once he did his eyes widen and took off like a bat out of hell. Giving chase Applebloom ran after him, coming to the area they couldn't believe their eyes. Three alicorns laying on the ground wounded. Walking up to each on, Spyro checked their breathing all three were alive.
"Who's could do this and why?" Applebloom asked
"Cynder did this....but why? It makes no sense to attack her friends." Spyro scanned the area for clues and hopefully answers but nothing showed. Groaning in frustration, Spyro hit the ground and as he did a flash appeared behind him. "Oh hello Applebloom what brings yoooouuuu...." Discord was shocked by the scene before him.
"Can you heal them?" The farm pony asked and with a snap of his fingers all three got up and their injuries were healed.
"What happen!?" Spyro half demanded
"We were doing some training routines she normally dose then she froze then attacked." Twilight said.
"Something had control of her, her eyes were white, like pure white." That caught Spyro's attention as did something else.
"Get behind me." Everyone looked at him as he looked off in the distance and not long after rather large black and dark purple dragon landed in front of them. Everyone but Spyro were paralyzed with fear. The dragon was massive in size, his yellow/orange eyes looking down at the group, his scorpion like tail blade swaying side to side wanting to draw blood.
"I must say she did an amazing job of wiping the floor with you three." He smiled a toothy grin and that did it for Spyro. Unleashing a torrent of fire balls each hitting their mark on the dragon, before he could react, Spyro took to the air and fired several earth missiles upon Shadow. Getting up after the bombardment he got, he was going to unleash his dark fire breath but Spyro beat him to it and unleashed his signature breath, his aether breath. Shadow saw it coming but was too slow to react and the blast hurled him away from the group. Spyro didn't relent and fired it once more only this time, not wanting face a pissed off purple dragon, Shadow vanished. Sitting down Spyro took several deep breaths to calm himself down, then a pink hoof touched his shoulder.
"Are you OK?" Cadence asked, concerned for her friend.
"I need to find her, where did she go too?"
"Everfree forest last we saw before sub coming to our injuries."
Spyro nodded and was about to take off when he felt armor strap itself on him. Looking over to the dragconiques and he smiled. "Don't worry its light and durable to with stand fire." The armor covered his head, openings for his fins and horns, neck, chest, legs, sides, back, underbelly and tail. Moving his right arm, the armor didn't restrict any movement, small openings for flexibility. The armor was decorated with light blue patterns on it.
"Thank you." Spyro said before taking off in the direction Cynder went, everyone else headed inside the castle. Scanning the forest ground Spyro was looking for any sign of Cynder, but with the trees being so close together made it difficult to see anything let alone find anything. After a few minutes of flying a castle, what's left of one came into view, "She's gotta be in there." Spyro said to himself. Coming to the castle he landed outside the main doors, cautiously walked into the old castle, something told him that it was about 6-7 hundred years old. Old tapestry hanged on the walls, they had Celestia and Luna on them.
"So this must be their old castle." Amazed at how much was still intact, the purple dragon walked down the main hall. "You should have stayed away." Came Cynder's voice behind the thrones and on the balcony. She was sitting there, her eyes red from crying.
"I'm here to help you, no matter what."
Her eyes turned white and with no warning fired a fire ball at Spyro, sending him back into the great hall. Coming down to slam him into the ground, Cynder had her tail aimed for his chest. Rolling away, Spyro blasted Cynder with water, not wanting to hurt her and to put some distance between her bladed. "Cynder listen to me Shadow is using you, you have to fight him." Cynder growled, doing what she can to fight off the force manipulating her while Spyro continued to remind her who she is. "Your no longer Lady Cynder, no longer the serpent that served Malefor you are my best friend, my partner and my mate. You are a hero to millions please don't turn against them...don't turn against me."
Shaking her head, Cynder did her best but the force was too strong to handle alone. Launching at Spyro the two wrestled trying to gain the upper hand, Spyro being stronger and heavier pinned his mate down. Thrashing and squirming, Cynder tried to free herself but to no avail. Leaning in Spyro rested his forehead against hers, summoning his light ability he poured it to her hoping it will break Shadow's hold on her. Not wanting to give her up, Shadow forced Cynder to move her leg under the purple dragon and kicked the underside of his right hind leg cutting deep into it. Winching at the kick but Spyro remained where he was, pushing more light into Cynder. She kicked a few more times but he didn't move, realizing kicking wasn't working, she then moved her tail under him and brought it out and trusted it deep into his left side, piercing through armor and scales.
Holding back a howl of pain, Spyro placed both hands on her head and poured everything he had into her. Howling in pain like a tsunami slammed into him and then slammed him into the mountain side, Shadow lost control over Cynder. Cynder's eyes turned back to normal, her tail pulled out of his side and she blacked out. Moving off of his mate, Spyro laid down beside his partner, holding his wounded side. Something flashed before him, looking up Spyro saw the dragconiques.
"Take Cynder back to the castle." Was all he could say before passing out.
At Twilight's castle things weren't going over easily as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were at the castle and Celestia wasn't happy with what Twilight had to say with what happen with Cynder. Though the dragons are resting, recovering from their wounds both physically and mentally, Celestia has ordered court against the dragoness in question. Many have taken different sides on this, Cadence, her family, Luna, the apple sisters, even Twilight's husband Zephyr. On the other end of the table was Celestia, and the remaining elements of harmony. On one side Celestia wants to maintain and keep Cynder locked up until they can find and detain Shadow, however Cadance disagrees with that and wants the dragons to return with her back to the empire.
"Why go against them Twilight, you made friends with them, you saw her eyes they weren't her own." Cadence said glaring at her sister in law.
"Because if Cynder can be control and we lost that fight, 3 against 1 then how are we supposed to win against a dragon who literally rebuilt his home world. He powers surpass Celestia's by a long shot. Even the elements of harmony."
"Do you honestly think that they expected to be brain washed Twilight like Princess Cadence said no one saw this coming, not even Cynder." Applejack said
"It's a threat we can't chance and have it happen again." Twilight remarked
The bantering went back and forth for hours, Spike made his way out of the room and headed down the hall to the guest rooms. Coming to one room with two bat ponies, part of Luna's republic guards, Spike made his way by them and into the room where the young dragons were fast asleep. Walking up to the bed, Spike shook Spyro gently, but he grunted in return. Shaking the dragon a little harder got him the same results, not giving up Spike continued to shake his purple friend until he turned and glared at Spike, a rather scary glare at that.
"Sorry for waking you but you need to defend Cynder, things aren't going smoothly in the throne room."
Crawling out of bed, groaning in pain, Spyro followed Spike to where the meeting was being held. Coming in range of the throne room voices carried out into the hall and it sounded like war was going on in there. Bursting through the doors Spyro let loose and earth shattering roar that made everypony drop to the ground like frighten cats.
"What the devil is going on here?" Spyro demanded.
Rising back up to their hooves, Celestia addressed Spyro's question. "After the incident with Cynder we believe that she should be at Canterlot for safer keeping."
"You mean in the dungeon." Cadence hissed.
Spyro glared at the sun goddess and her head hanged low, indicating that was what she was going to do. "Yes that is true, for her own safety so she won't hurt others and we can hunt down Shadow."
"Do you even know where to start looking?" Spyro half demanded, not impressed with the Princesses decision. The room was quiet for a while speaking for itself. "What is the other operation?"
"I take you two back to the Crystal Empire and let things cool down, and we do what we can to hunt down your foe." Cadence spoke up.
"We'll take opponent two, I'm not going to let you take Cynder away to a dungeon where she will be useless as to being very useful in hunting down that devil."
Celestia nodded. "Very well, Cadence they are under your care, their actions will be on you if they go rouge or damage property then you clean up after them and capture them. You may take them away."
Cadence nodded and her group left the room, Luna offered to get Cynder, Spyro nodded and the night princess went to get the dragoness and levitated her to the station. The crystal train was waiting for the royal family, they and the dragons got into the caboose while Zephyr got into the cart before it, the apple sisters left for home. The trip was mostly quiet as Cynder cuddled into the purple dragon and fell back asleep as he curled around her and the others whispered to each other. The main question was how will they find a shadow dragon, if he didn't want to be found there was no stopping him from hiding. Cadence asked if she could redo Twilight's work on dragons, Spyro accepted her request.
Spyro and Shining were discussing armor for the crystal guards that could withstand heavy attacks, and with Discord's help, though Shining didn't like the idea of the draconequus fooling around with his men's armor, it could give them a stronger chance to survive. The train whistled, signaling the approach to the empire. Coming to a complete stop, guards opened the door of the caboose, letting the ponies and dragons out. Making their way though the city, many ponies that befriended Spyro had asked if he was OK, once they saw his bandaged side and leg, he assured them it was nothing he couldn't handle
"I'm glade you made friends here." Cadence smiled
"I'm more glade they don't know what happen with Cynder." Spyro said, looking back to Zefiroth with Cynder on his back.
Coming to the palace the first thing Spyro did when they entered was head to their room and hit the bed, Zefiroth placed Cynder next to her mate, she cuddled right into him and he left the room leaving the young couple rest and heal up.

Change of plans, Change of heart
Over the next two months the young war veterans were enjoying the Crystal Empire, making new friends, hanging out with them, staying at their places from time to time. Spyro and Shining Armor had friendly sparring sessions, teaching each other different moves, same goes for Cynder and Cadence. The crystal Princess took the liberty of redoing Twilight's work on studying the young dragons. Asking the same questions and then some more, she would watch them spar each other and her husband, scribbling down their fighting styles and different uses of their elements as Spyro explained to her.
"Fire and lightning are the more aggressive of the "light elements", having devastating effects on the enemies, and friends if your not trained properly. If your breath attack isn't fast enough in combat, fire and lightning dragons can use what is called element combat. That is were your elements engulf your front limbs or other body parts and you use them in close quarter combat, not to mention fire them from your fists.
"As for the so called dark elements..." Cynder spoke up, "they are similar to their counter parts but different in many ways for example wind and shadow. Both are light and easy to control, however you can vanish with shadow and reappear in a different shadow. Dematerizling so nothing harms you before rematerilzing to attack. Shadow fire is has two different variations, one is like a cold smoke used to asphyxiate your foes, the second is a black and red flame ale to melt stone .
Shining was frowning at the memory but Cadence giggled at him. "Shall we go inside so I can see your more private areas." The dragons smiled and followed the pink alicorn into the palace.
While things were heating up at the Crystal Empire things were looking bleach at the canyon. Chrysalis hasn't been at the base for the past two months and she hasn't said what her plan was or if she had one. Shadow was starting to grow impatient with her, waiting near the mouth of the cave he heard some of the changelings talking over something. Standing up he went to go investigate. "What is all this?" He demanded. The red ponies moved aside to reveal a clay table.
"One of our spies is coping the table at the friendship castle in Ponyville, so that we have a target table and since our Queen abandoned us I'm promoted myself as leader."
"Cleaver but change of plans you will be my commander." Shadow placed a claw on the changelings shoulder and a black aura engulfed him, soon it vanished and he had black marks on his body and bat like wings instead of the bug ones. "In fact" Shadow did the same to the others giving them bat like wings but only a handful had the black markings on them. "You will be my commanding officer the rest are leaders of different teams. Once your spy has completed the table we will attack different places all at once."
"And how are we supposed to do that?" The commander asked.
"With this" Shadow opened several portals all leading to different places. "Take these, they are communication crystals all you have to do is speak my name or a leaders squadron and they can hear you. But for now we wait until the table is complete."
The changelings looked at each other then back to Shadow. "Hale Lord Shadow."
"HALE LORD SHADOW! HALE LORD SHADOW! HALE!" The rest shouted.
At the castle of friendship, Spike was sitting in his throne reading a comic book as usual but unknown to him was a changeling high above him waiting for him to leave. The doors opened to the room, Spike was expecting Twilight until a quiet voice spoke up.
"Um Spike can I speak with you? If your alright with that I mean."
"Sure Fluttershy what is it?"
"Um it's the dragons, I'm still scared around them, and knowing that they are more powerful then we thought I'm terrified of them."
"I understand why your scared about them shy but we need to trust them in order to help them save our home world. Let's go out and get some ice cream to help calm your nerves."
The shy pegasus nodded and the drake led out of the throne room and the changeling had its chance to finish his job. Dropping from the high ceiling, the crimson pony morphed into the purple drake and opened the map, his eyes glowing green as he scanned the remaining portion of the map. The doors opened. "Hey Twilight were are the...AAAAHHH!!" The changeling blasted Starlight with green goo around her hooves and mouth and continued scanning the map. Once he was done he took the trapped pony and glued her to the ceiling with more goo and flew on out.
Back at the canyon everypony and dragon waited for their spy to return and the buzzing of bug wings could be heard. "Got the rest of the map." He then noticed that the rest of the changelings look much different then him. "Will done and now your reward." Shadow summoned his black magic and transformed the changeling to look like the rest. "Now go finish our map so we can attack." The changeling nodded and headed to the target room with the map they made. Using its magic, it finished the 3d map of Equestria, as Shadow walked in everypony bowed before him.
"Tell me the places we know have."
"Yes my Lord we have GriffinStone home to the greedy griffins and King StoneFist, here we have the dragon lands ruled by Lady Ember, a small dragon, a teenager as you will. West across the Celestial sea we have Manehattan, Filly Delphia, Baltmare, the badlands and the forbidden jungle."
Shadow scanned the map for a while before speaking. "I will take GriffinStone. Team Alpha, and beta you two will take Van hoover, and Los Pegasus. Delta and Omega, Apple Loose and CloudsDale. Kill all who try and escape."
The crimson ponies saluted their new leader. "Sir yes sir." Opening portals the changelings charged through them and as the last team entered their portal, Shadow opened one more and flew into it. At GriffinStone argument was going on about the new younger dragons, some believed they were a secret weapon while others thought they were spies for the new dragon Queen. Outside though was a different story as many griffins gathered around a portal before any one could say anything a massive fireball came from the portal and killed most of the griffins in front of the portal. "Send for the King we are under attack." Someone shouted and one ran off. As the arguments heated up the griffin burst through the door shouting "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!!!" The king responded and followed the griffin to the portal.
As the two arrived a giant black paw stepped out of the portal then came the muzzle followed by the rest of the dragon. Every griffin backed off, feeling a sense of death around this dragon. The King walked up and spoke, "I am King StoneFist and you have no business here fire breather, crawl back into the cave you once came." Shadow smiled and vanished but before anyone could breath a sign of relief, he struck, his bladed scorpion like tail speared the Kings chest and out through his back, removing his tail the King fell dead to the floor, blood pooling around his body. Every griffin screamed at the sight and ran for safety but Shadow laughed as he watched the horrified creatures run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Strolling through the city Shadow was unleashing streams of fire, burning buildings and griffins alike and any that dared face him was now swimming in their own blood. Coming to the Kingdom he blasted down the doors, and the front wall and was immediately jumped by a griffin guard but he fazed to shadow as the guard went through him. Turning back into a solid form, the black dragon bit down on the griffins head, removing it from it's body. As was the fate for every griffin in this once mighty Kingdom.
Making his way to the throne room he fazed through the doors and as he became solid once more three griffins were clawing at the ceiling and busted through. Giving chase the Dark Lord took to the air, busting through the ceiling and saw the Queen and two escorts flying west. Launching a fireball at the three griffins it exploded right behind them sending them down to the canyon below. Looking over his work the entire town was up in smoke, corpses laid everywhere, bloody and burned there were no survivors. Flying back to the Kingdom he didn't see a grey head poking out from the canyon.
"OK he's gone." She said looking down at the other two.
"Good now we can make a dash for Canterlot and warn the Royal sisters." The largest of the two said before they climbed out and flew West.
Canterlot palace where the royal sisters were enjoying a peaceful lunch together that is until one of the royal guards came running in. "Princess Celestia GriffinStone is up in smoke!" Both princesses looked at each other before going to the balcony, looking through the telescope and sure enough smoke and fire was rising from the fallen Kingdom. "Tia we got visitors, three griffins, all females minor burns from what I can see." Luna said getting her sister to look in the direction where she was looking.
"Prepare the medical wing and get an escort for them." Celestia ordered one of her guards and looked at another. "Contact Princess Cadence and Shining Armor." The guard saluted and rushed off leaving the sisters to watch as the griffins were weakening from the long flight. Minutes later the wonderbolts came flying in to help the griffins, Rainbow Dash is one of them. The cryn colored pegasus got her old flight school friend onto her back as the others helped the other two.
"Gilda what happen?"
"Dead their all dead Dash a black dragon came and killed our King first then the entire town, not even the guards stopped him." She then pasted out from exhaustion. Inside the medical wing nurses were tending to the burns on their back, outside Rainbow Dash told the sisters what Gilda told her. Celestia was deep in thought, how could such a dragon hide from her sight? Where are the changelings? Before an answer came to her mind a guard got her attention.
"Cadence is at the communication mirror waiting for you."
Thanking the guard the white alicorn left for her room and within her mirror was Cadence. "The guard told me what happen but I ask, is it true that GriffinStone is gone?"
"I'm afraid so, a black dragon killed everyone except three but he burned their backs so he must think that there are no survivors. Ask our dragon friends if they know this...."
"They do and they told me about him and he's no villain you have faced before auntie. Back in the old days on their world he ruled three quarters of the world for six hundred years and only one creature named Allan has killed this dragon. Spyro and Cynder can weaken him but his scales are to thick, to mature for them to cause any physical harm only elemental harm."
"Do you think they can help us fight against him?"
"After what happened with Cynder I wouldn't be surprised if they don't want to talk to you....but I'll talk with them." With that Cadence left and the mirror was back to normal. Cadence turned around looking at an all to familiar foe, Queen Chrysalis.
"So everything you said was true, Shadow did take control and now a kingdom has fallen, GriffinStone."
"What did I say, I told you all I know now you hold up to your end."
THREE HOURS BEFORE THE ATTACK
Cadence was toying around with Spyro's dragonhood and the purple male was moaning in pleasure as Cadence toyed with him. Cynder watched with a smile as she observed different ways to please her mate, Spyro's face contorted, showing that he was close to his climax. "Come on show me how much you can release." Cadence smiled until a knock came.
"Your highness a guest has requested for you."
"Thank you I'll be there shortly." Cadence replied going back to her work on Spyro. Using her magic she started stroking the purple dragon's length, sitting on his haunches giving Cadence easier access to his member. After a few minutes, Cadence started stroking faster and he shuddered as his climax swiftly approached again, throwing his head back with a loud roar as his dragonhood finally exploded from the Pent up pleasure. Cadence watched as Spyro shoot his cum quite a distance, some of it landing on Cynder, pumping his multi purple organ he eventually groaned as she slowed and stopped. His seed still flowing from the tip of his member.
"Now that was fun, I'll be in the throne room meet me there once your friend is back in his home." Cadence smiled looking at Spyro's member before walking out. Making her way to the throne room, opening the doors she saw a light blue pegasus sitting in the middle of the room. "How may I help you?" The pegasus was then engulfed by green fire and transformed into her natural form.
"CHRYSALIS!!?"
"What I mean no...." she was interrupted as the doors swung open and four guards came in. Before she could speak the doors bust open and two blurs came rushing at her, one froze her legs and horn while the other held its scythe like tail to her throat.
"Please Princess Cadence hear me out before you make your judgement."
Cadence looked at the pony who nearly stole her wedding day and her husband with hatred but her expression softened. "Go on."
"For the past eight months I've been dating a stallion named Markus, and I want to be with him forever which is why I came to you. I want you to make me into the pegasus you saw me as earlier today and if you do that for me I'll tell you where the new hive is and my new alley that I will abandoned if you grant my wish."
"How can you be trusted? After all changelings are known to lie to other ponies to survive, how do I know your not lying to me?"
Chrysalis had nothing to say and knew Cadence had every right to hate her and not grant her wish. "How about this if you tell us everything you know now and I confirm it with Princess Celestia then and only then I will grant your wish."
The former Queen nodded. "Two months ago a black dragon named Shadow appeared in my hive and told me that if I helped him kill these two he will help me take over the crystal empire. So we made a pack that if I was to be captured he can rule my army and do what ever he wanted. But as my feelings for Markus grew stronger I've been seeing him more often then I use to and now I want to live a normal life with him and the only creatures powerful enough to do such things are alicorns. I dare not show my face to the royal sisters then I thought of you and prayed that you will help me."
Cadence was in thought for a while. "Give me moment to think things over, stay here." Chrysalis nodded and the young alicorn walked off.
PRESENT TIME
"So everything you said was true, Shadow did take control and now a kingdom has fallen, GriffinStone."
"What did I say, I told you all I know now you hold up to your end."
"Spyro thaw out our guest please."
Spyro did what was asked of him and thawed her legs and horn and before long a light blue aura surrounded the changeling and Cadence said, "Change into your pegasus form." Changing into Christin the spell began. Green magic started flowing out of Chrysalis and was replaced by the color of magic that was surrounding her, she could feel the changes both inside and out. For starters she could feel a heart beat within her chest, pumping blood through her veins, her unicorn magic draining from her and being replaced with pegasus magic. Her wings were becoming more solid as bones made up her wings arms, her legs were also becoming more solid as the holes filled up, she might have changed into a pegasus but the physical changes could still be felt.
After half an hour of transformation Chrysalis has now became Christin the pegasus. Looking herself over she couldn't believe that a new life has presented itself to her. "Cadence I can't thank you enough for doing this...especially for me."
"To quote a friend, ' the power of friendship is the strongest magic there is' and it shows with your relationship with Markus. Now can you go to Twilight's castle and warn her that we have no means to put Shadow down. Not even our special guest can harm him."
"At once your highness." Christin walked to the balcony and took flight towards the train station and in time as the train was about to leave to Ponyville.
The legend of spyro: world's crossing
The trip to Ponyville was a rather long one as the train made a number of stops before reaching it's last destination, upon stopping, Christin made her through the town casually not wanting to draw unwanted attention, or frighten ponies but deep down what Princess Cadence had said about Shadow had her nervous. In her head questions were repeating themselves over and over always with different answers. "How can we beat him if the two dragons can't? Why can't the dragons beat another dragon only bigger? Can the elements of harmony beat him or will they fail for the first time? As the questions plagued her mind, her speed walking made her walk right into the castle doors head first. Hearing a loud thud as Twilight walked by her front doors she stopped and looked at the entrance. Landing on her haunches, she rubbed her muzzle and as the doors opened Twilight was looking at the pegasus.
"Are you ok?" She asked
"Yeah just a lot on my mind, Princess Cadence has sent me to relay a unforgiving message."
Twilight looked at the light blue pegasus for a moment before letting her in. "Allow me call my friends so you can speak to us all." She nodded and followed the violet mare into the throne room and the map began to summon everypony to the castle. Within minutes the team arrived and sat in their respected thrones.
"What gives Twi? Me and the wonderbolts were practicing for our upcoming event." Rainbow said in her demanding voice
"I'm with Dash on this one it's apple season Yea know.
"And I was on my way to Manehattan."
"I know today is a busy day for all of you but Cadence has sent Christin here to relay a message, go ahead."
"I'm afraid I have bad news the dragon known as Shadow has taken over the changeling army and destroyed GriffinStone..."
"Yeah we know I was part of the rescue team." Rainbow interrupted
"Rainbow Dash let the girl finish." Applejack said.
"Anyway as for defeating him we don't have the fire power to permanently defeat him, only weaken him."
"What about Spyro and Cynder?" Spike asked and Christin shook her head.
"They can harm him elementally but as for causing major damage they fear his scales are far too mature to cause any real physical harm unlike their adolescent scales that are still maturing. And we don't know if the elements of harmony will even touch him since he can faze into shadows like his name applies."
Everypony was silent for a long time not sure what to think of all this, if the dragons or the elements can't beat Shadow then what can was the question that plagued every ponies mind right now. "Do we have a plan B?" Twilight asked and Christin shrugged. Looking up, breathing a frustrated sigh the new pegasus saw Starlight up on the ceiling.
"Uumm princess is that your student?"
Looking up Twilight gasped as she saw her student glued to the ceiling by some kind of goo. Using her magic she carefully removed the goo and brought Starlight down. "What happen?"
"Spike...glowing eyes...scanning map...ran off..." she said in between pants for air.
"A changeling spy no doubt, Spike take her to her room so she can rest." Nodding the purple drake picked up the mare and carried her to her room while the rest discussed plans. Twilight has used her magic and sitting around her table with the others were the other four princesses "Do they, our reptilian friends know someone that might beat Shadow?"
"Actually we do." Spyro said as the two dragons came into view. "His name is Allan and he and Shadow have a history together. In fact they fought side by side before Shadow became corrupted."
"Great then we can use our magic and bring him here." Twilight said.
"One problem though, after our latest battle with Shadow nearly five months ago, that's including the two months we've been here, Allan hasn't been seen anywhere, not at the temple, Warfang, instead he probably remained at the mountain temple where the fight was, and he's the only one out of all the guardians that can face Shadow face to face." Spyro said.
"And another thing, while your plan on teleporting this Allan here is a good idea we wouldn't know where he might teleport to." Celestia chimed in
"But aunty, Twilight's plan might save our world, with Allan then these two can cause some damage to Shadow and defeat him. It's a plan we need to execute before it's too late to do anything. Besides like we all said we can't tell if the elements of harmony can touch this bad dragon." Flurry Heart said getting Celestia to think it over.
"I must say Twilight Sparkle that it is a risky plan you have divided but if we are to pull off such a thing then we need a location of where our target is and what he looks like. And Spyro pointed out that this Allan has remained in a temple in the mountains gives us little to work with." Luna added
Before any pony could add anything a royal guards appeared and gave Celestia three letters, after reading them her face went from thinking to grave real fast. "Princess what's wrong?" Twilight asked.
"Vanhoover, Las Pegasus, and Apple Loose have been over run by a vast changeling army, ponies are trapped within their homes but a number have been killed trying to escape, the numbers aren't exact but we can only assume lots have never made it out."
Once again every pony was silent, four places attacked within two hours of each other was terrifying. After awhile every pony and dragon was looking at Twilight. "It seems we don't have a choice now, Spyro can you go to Twilight's castle and help her find your friend while Cynder come here with Cadence and help prepare the troops best she can to face Shadow as the time draws near." Celestia asked and the dragons nodded. "Cadence bring your troops here for the specialized training?"
"We will bring them over."
"Then this meeting is at an end let us hope time is with us and not against us." Twilight said and everyone nodded.
"So what's your plan on locating our comrade there Spyro?" Cynder asked.
Spyro was at a complete lost and soon Cynder joined him in thinking about methods on contacting Allan, then she looked at her purple friend. "Communication crystals, if you can create one out in the open fields we can get a hold on him."
"Cynder your a genius."
"I have my moments."
"What's a communication crystal?" Cadence asked.
"Communication crystals are what we use back in our home world to stay in contact with one another or the temple. They can be used half way around the world and we can still hear the voices as if they were right beside us. They were a gift from the ancestors in the time of war when troops had to split up on missions or separate by the enemies. It is said a purple dragon can create such things, though I haven't tried it but now I have to give it a shot." Spyro said
"Then what are we waiting for?" Cadence asked and led the dragons to an open field, the very field where they first landed into the new world. Spyro sat in front of the group, his eyes closed, his breathing slowed as he concentrated on creating a crystal. The ground under everyone started to rumble to life but no one moved and watched an amazing event take place right before there eyes. Minutes passed and then half an hour passed and before long the ground in front of the purple dragon started glowing blueish purple and come from the ground was a blue-purple crystal. Everyone even Spyro was amazed at what he just accomplished, he then placed a paw on it and it started to glow.
"General Allan do you read? This is Spyro... do you read general?"
Far across the galaxy, on the home world of dragons, far to the north, was a massive fortress. Outside was the courtyard, covered in a thin layer of dead leaves, wooden stables, weapon racks and dummies. The temple itself was made up of several dome shapes structures, all in a n octagonal form with the central dome being the largest. Going inside the temple on the main floor was the main dojo/ gathering place, kitchen and dinning hall, a large chamber for the guardians that lived here and the pool of visions. The first floor was the library, armory, rookery, corridors for the many students it once housed and two empty halls. In one of the rooms in the upper floors was a lone creature that resembles a human laying on a bed, face buried into the pillow. A faint glow caught his attention as its dim light shined through his eye lids, opening his brown eyes he saw the light, then heard a familiar voice. Standing up, he stood at 5'11", his dark brown hair reached his shoulder blades. His upper torso was riddled with battle scars ranging from arrow shots, sword slashes, to claw marks and small bites. He had a muscular body, every muscle was well formed over the years of training and the skills to match. He wasn't just for looks he was a skilled warrior and is half elven, so he had the speed and reflexes of one as well.
Reaching the crystal he heard the voice repeat itself. "Allan this is Spyro do you read?"
Placing a hand on his crystal he answered. "I read old friend and might I ask where the hell are you? The guardians have been looking for you and Cynder for sometime now, they have contacted me wandering if you came to visit me, but I said no you haven't."
"Long story short, we travel through a vortex during a night flight and wound up on a different world called Equstria and made new friends but an old foe of yours is here and dominating the East coast."
Allan was silent for a long time adjusting to the fact that Shadow was still alive after being stabbed through his black heart once and beheaded the second time round. "Are you sure it's that black demon?"
"One hundred percent and we need you here to kill him again. Me and Twilight, one of our friends will find away to bring you here we just need your location, oh and to warn you, you may be teleported anywhere in this new world so bring your killing tools and armor."
"Will do and my location is the mountain temple, give me an hour, two tops to get my gear so I can end Shadow, hopefully for good this time around. And if you encounter him do not engage unless necessary."
"Understood that Allan over and out." The crystal faded and Allan walked to his wardrobe and pulled out a white cotton shirt, dark grey trousers, dark brown boots that came to a point at the front, and a brown leather belt. Walking out of his room, down the hall, down a set of stairs and into another room he equipped himself with his daughters weapon, a 42.5" inches long sword, blade was 32.5" inches long and made out of a special metal called siderite it can slice clean through dragon scales, a white handle that was 10" inches long with a rose gold rose for the pommel, a quiver with a number of arrows on the quiver were two hooks for his war bow, made from bronze wood, a famous wood from his elven heritage, before grabbing a dagger, the handle was made from horn with a gold guard and pommel with silver patterns on the handle, 14" inches long. Opening a closet revealed his armor, silver in color, a central ridge going down the middle it had a four segmented pauldrons that down just above the elbow, the vambracers covered his arms, decorated in elven flourishes, coming up under his elbows. A V shaped opening for the head and neck, holes on the side for his arms. The tasset was a three segments attached on the side, it curved with the breastplate then around the opening at the front around the groin. Covering his legs above the knees with the greaves covering over his boots. He thought it over but closed the closet, stepping outside he took in the fresh morning air, the cool breeze flowing through his hair as he looked at two graves down below.
The first one read. Here lies Andria, a beloved daughter, wife and mother. Born in First Age. 463. Died First Age.963. Age 1426.
The second read. Here lies Aura, a beloved daughter. Born in First Age. 593. Died First Age 966. Age 1559.
"I promise to you my angels he will pay for what he did to us." Allan spoke to the wind as a tear formed in his eyes as he looked up to the heavens.
Back in the magical world of Equstria Spyro was at Twilight's castle while Cynder, Cadance and a handful of troops were on their way to the capital of equestria. The two purple creatures were out back, behind the castle where Twilight was looking over a spell book on teleporting. When it comes to teleport, Twilight is a natural at it, going from point A to B with ease, even teleporting the group away from danger but teleporting someone from a different world to another was unheard of, and to be the youngest to do so was frightening. The pressure was on for everything to go as expected or things will fail miserably.
Combing through Spyro's mind, the violet mare found the location she needed and began her spell. On the other side of the galaxy Allan had his equipment in a leather bag that was slung over his shoulder. A purple flash appeared below the balcony he was standing on and without hesitation he jumped into the portal into the unnone. Seconds later he found himself free falling towards a jungle, crashing through the leaves he then leaped from branches to trunks to solid ground.
"OK now find a way out." Allan started to walk north into the unnone world.

Leaping into a portal was a strange sensation for Allan but it quickly ended as he found himself free falling towards a dense jungle below him. Breaking through the leaves and a few small branches, Allan landed on a thicker branch, his knees bending as he absorbed the impact and with that force he jumped to another branch, using the same technique, bend the knees and push off. Leaping downwards he jumped from branches to tree trunks before landing on solid ground.
"OK time to find away out." He then looked up hoping to catch a glimpse of the sun but with thick tree tops all he saw was green. He hummed and walked in what he believed was North. After walking a few miles he spotted a temple of some sort, having eyes better then any human he spotted a gold coated mare with a hat on, surrounded by black panthers with horns on their heads. Looking to his right he saw a dog like creature sitting on a throne, a tail with a hand on it held a gemstone close to its eye, examining the stone. "My my my I must say Daring Do, to find the dragons eye, a legendary gem is most impressive but this time it's mine. And as you can see my new pets are more of a proper match for you and can easily kill you at my will. But seeing as to how you've taken every treasure that I wanted this time I'll be taking a treasure from you, a treasure most valuable to you....your mare hood."
The pegasus eyes grew even larger then before, to take her innocents was an act she thought he would never do. "You must be really mad at me to go so low Ahuizotl." Daring said, trying to hide the fear in her voice. The three big cats continued to circle her and one made a quick swipe, slashing at the mares hind leg and cut it, sending the mare down from the pain she felt. "Glade you got comfortable now we can begin." As he walked towards her, he heard a faint whistle coming his way and with a blink of an eye one of the panthers got a arrow through its head, dropping it instantly. Everyone looked in the direction where the arrow came from and Allan walked out of the jungle, snapping his tail, Ahuizotl's pets rushed the two legged creature and with a blink of the eye they were killed, both beheaded as Allan sheathed his sword.
"Leave creature or you'll suffer the same fate." Allan warned and Ahuizotl growled but left. Using a healing spell, Allan got Daring do back on her hooves.
"Thanks stranger."
"Don't mention it but I need someone to lead me to a Twilight Sparkle."
"Follow me." Daring motioned her head to follow her and he did. "The trip will be a few hours so why don't you tell me about yourself."
"Where to begin? I'm half human half elf, so I got some incredible senses like sight, speed, reflexes and hearing, in my world I'm almost unmatched in battle only a few have been known to go toe to toe with me. Trained by the first generation of dragon guardians so I can tap into the power of the dragons. I'm much older then I look...don't ask...and all of my life has been nothing but war. Now how about you? Tell me about yourself."
"Gladly..." The mare began telling about her many adventures and the treasures she has found and the enemies she has made over the years. A number of her adventures had Ahuizotl, her main nemesis in treasure hunting always trying different ways to kill her but fail. As the hours pasted by and Daring do has told her many adventures they finally arrived at the jungles edge only to witness a sight that will be written in the history books of decades to come...Canterlot was up in flames.
SEVERAL HOURS EARLIER
Twilight and Spyro had finished the spell to transfer Allan into their world and both where exhausted and slowly made their ways to their rooms to regain energy. While they regain lost strength Shadow has made his way back to the canyon where a second wave of the army from the depths have emerged and know await their order.
"GriffinStone is now ours but to claim all the lands we must strike at the heat of it all. Canterlot. Those in GriffinStone will join us in the invasion."
"And what about the royal sisters?" One of the troops asked.
"Leave them to me. We strike within the hour."
Coming up from the crystal empire, Cadence, her family, Cynder and a full train of crystal soldiers where nearing the mountain, as they got closer, Cynder started to shiver, and that means trouble. "Cynder are you ok?" Cadence asked but the dragoness didn't respond instead poked her head out the window. After a while she pulled her head back in and thought to herself.
'OK so normally that happens when a darkness is presented but yet there was nothing up there to set it off, and it's to hot to even feel cold so why...?' Her thoughts where interrupted as Cadence placed a hoof on her shoulder.
"Is everything alright?"
"Not sure to say the least"
The cart they were in sudden shock violently, sending everyone in a tumbled. Righting herself, Cadance made her way to the window and saw an army of changelings slamming into the train. "We need to get out of here." The cart was struck again, Cadance fell onto Cynder. Rolling the Princess off her, Cynder fazed into shadows making her way outside and started causing mayhem in the army ranks. Blasting large groups with her poison breath, infecting others around them, she would use her wind ability to push others into the infected then they all fell dead. Using her fire breath she would eliminate vast numbers of changelings but they seemed endless and would charge her, only to go through her shadow form and slam into the cart. If they get within range of her tail they were cut down to size, stabbed or infected with poison from her scorpion strike.
Within the great Hall the royal sisters were watching the event from one of the many windows, watching as the young dragoness defended the train from the onslaught of enemies.
"It seems you've missed judged her to hastily sister." Luna said looking at her sister.
"Indeed I have. I hope she can forgive me."
The air around them suddenly got cold, cold enough to see their breaths. Looking to each other, they raced off to the throne room and couldn't believe their eyes, a massacre of soldiers and in the center of it all was a large black dragon. "Greetings sisters." Celestia was the first to strike with a magic blast, only for to go through him, they both took to the air as a dark crystal sprung up right where they use to be. Together they summoned their magic casting a bright light, Shadow looked up with a smile as the attack came down and slammed into him. "Is that it?" Luna asked. With blinding speed the dark dragon flew up and slammed Celestia into the wall and whipping Luna from the air, sending her down hard. Celestia summoned her magic again and blasted Shadow off her and they came back to the ground. "Lets make this more interesting." Shadow said, a dark purple aura surrounded him as he shrank in size. He was now twice as tall as Celestia and just as long, if not longer. The sisters didn't care and took to the air and came screaming at him, full speed, Shadow remained where he was and shot out his wings, dark tentacles sprang forth and pushed the sisters back, slamming Luna into the wall, but her sister broke free. Summoning her weapon, an halberd with a crescent sun blade and spike at the tip and came crashing down as he phased once more to the shadows. Reappearing he brought forth his tail ready to strike.
He struck first but was blocked by the white alicorn and she followed up with a blunt attack, striking him in his chest before swinging her blade up. Shadow swiftly moved his tail to counter the attack and blocked her vertical slash before moving it to his left side. Smiling he opened his maw and shadow fire came out, sending the elder sister back knocking her out. Walking up to the fallen princess he raised his tail ready to strike but before he could something sharp pierced his hid, causing him to grimace from the pain. Using his shadow power he removed the object but it vanished, looking up he saw Luna coming down with her sword, a double edge sword with a crescent moon in the center with wings as the guard and six magic swords like hers. As she landed it didn't take her long to fire all six of her magic swords at the black dragon, using his own dark powers he summoned a crystal just in time as the swords impacted, turning them around with the points aimed at Luna and pushed towards her. Using her real sword sliced clean through the crystal and charged the beast before her, their weapons clashed and Luna leaped over him, landing on a wall and came crashing down as Shadow moved out of her striking range.
"Impressive only one other can last this long against me."
"You will soon learn that I'm full of surprises."
Luna took one step forward and a pentagram appeared below her hooves and she sank into it. Before Shadow could even move Luna landed two fast hits on him before he pinned her down, tossing her sword away, looming over the princess his tail raised ready for the final blow but Luna summoned a magic barrier to separate herself from Shadow. Raising to her hooves, panting heavily, her magic healed some of her injuries but not all, but Shadow's wounds didn't heal at all. Luna never broke eye contact as she tried to get back her weapon but was soon imprisoned be dark crystals and noticed that Shadow was charging one of his breath attacks, wasting no time Luna's eyes turned white and stomped the ground, breaking free from her prison and summoned a shield around her as Shadow unleashed his devastating dark fire attack knocking Luna out of one of the windows.
Looking over to the palace, Cynder saw her sister of the night free falling and flew over to her, catching her mid air before flying back to the cart. "Cadance get us out of here." As if on cue the top of the palace exploded sky ward and Shadow came right for them. Summoning her magic she got everyone out of the train before it got destroyed by a massive fireball. The princess had teleported everyone to Twilight's castle and the girls with their partners helped everyone inside.
"Where's Princess Celestia?" Twilight asked.
"I don't know," was all Cynder could say, before helping Luna inside.

While the girls helped get everyone settled in and looked after, Cynder took Luna to hers and Spyro's room to rest from the previous battle she had. Once they were all settled in and resting, including Cynder, who was with Luna, everyone else gathered around the map table.
"Ok so Shadow's army is much bigger then we anticipated and took control of Canterlot, no doubt imprisoning Princess Celestia and what ever guards survived the onslaught. I fear it might be sometime before Allan can assist us with this monster." Twilight said.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get the elements, go to Canterlot, kick Shadow's tail and save the day like always." Rainbow Dash shouted, wanting some action.
"I have no doubts about your skills in a fight Rainbow, but he had once conquered three quarters of our world and ruled it for hundreds years for a reason, he is no slouch in the heat of combat and has six hundred years of experience. You can't just rush in without a plan unless you have enough power and experience to face him one on one. Not to break your fighting spirit but how do you plan on getting past his vast army of changelings?" Spyro said, getting the rainbow maned pegasus to slouch in her chair.
"Spyro is right darling we must wait until help comes, and not even you are fast enough to cover all of Equestria front and back to find this Allan." Rarity chimed in
"Agreed if this Allan is as good as Spyro claims he is then he has no problem taking care of himself."
Far to South East near the forbidden jungle, Allan and Daring Do were handling a small group of changelings, Allan slicing them like they were nothing and as one remained he cast a sign stunning the changeling before it could fly off to gather reinforcements.
"Where is your master?" Allan asked
"Canterlot."
"What is he planning?"
"He has his sights on Twilight's castle, his aim is to get rid of all alicorns so no one is left to challenge his rule. He has the sun goddess Celestia imprisoned for now and with the rest at Twilight's castle he just needs to demolish it to kill everyone inside."
"How many of you things are left?"
"Between sixty and eighty thousand seeing that our former Queen betrayed us and stopped reproducing us."
"You have done will." Allan then thrusted his sword into the changeling's chest and pulled it out letting the red pony drop dead. "We need to get to that castle now."
"How? It's three days from here, two and a half if we travel by night." Daring said looking at Allan.
Looking off into the distance thinking on how he should get there before Shadow can strike. He could use his elven speed and get there with in a day but then his companion would have troubles keeping up. Or they can travel at night and get there together but will it be fast enough to warn everyone about the upcoming attack.
"I suggest you hurry and get there before it's too late."
The sound of the mares voice brought Allan back to his senses and looked at the golden pegasus. "Are you sure about that?"
"I'll be fine, I know this forest like the back of my hoof."
Nodding he took off faster then what Daring do anticipated. "Wow that could rival Rainbow's speed."
Though he was fast it pales in comparison to what Rainbow can do for speed. But he cared little of that and made a be line for the castle off in the distance. He already made it to Apple Loosa and saw all the red flying around the village, one of them eventually spotted him. "Intruder!" It shouted getting the others attention. Six already were charging at him, and before they could even blink he drew his sword and cut down the six in mere seconds. Stunned by his reflexes the entire army crept towards him, but he didn't move he just watched. Thinking it had the upper hoof, one of the changelings came rushing in from the far right side, adjusting his foot work, Allan spun around and lifted his sword to the left and brought it down onto the changeling's neck decapitating it. Spinning around he deflected a magic blast sending it back to the one who summoned it kill him as well.
Twelve took to the sky and charged up their magic but like before Allan didn't even flinch. Blasting their combined attack Allan summoned a shield around him and the attack struck the shield, creating a massive dust cloud. Launching forward was a blur of white and silver as Allan cut down six changelings before one attacked him, dodging one he grabbed another by its wing, used it's momentum against it and tossed it into another it's horn stabbing the other one. One came from behind but to get a solid punch to the face, breaking it's nose and jaw, sending it backwards. Looking over his left shoulder he saw one coming and knelt down, thrusting his sword up spilling the changeling's gusts out. Three more closed in but he leaped into the air, twirled around and lopped off their heads with one stroke. Upon landing he immediately punched one in the chest, breaking ribs and sternum, sending it crashing into others. They soon noticed that he has killed nineteen and injured three without breaking a sweat.
The commander motioned for twelve to surround him, and in doing so blocked off any escape route and charged him. Taking to the air, Allan came down shooting a stream of fire from his palm burning all twelve changelings instant death. Four more came at him but we're pushed back by a magic blast when he thrusted his palm out, few more came from the left and were met with ice shards stabbing through their chests. Twisting around he brought his sword down into a few others, it seemed as though no one can touch him. Having enough of watching his men get killed, the commander took to the sky and charged at the intruder, seeing the commander flying towards him, Allan swung his sword out in front and it made contact, splitting the commander in half straight down the middle of his body. The others backed away now terrified of the intruder and he smiled. "Boo" was all he needed to say before they all scrambled into the air and took off with their tails between their legs. Everypony came outside to greet their savior but he didn't stay long as he was back on the path to Twilight's castle.
Around the evening he made it to the outskirts of the small town of Ponyville and continues to run for the castle in sight. As the large doors get closer, Allan reduces speed before coming to them. Knocking on the door, he was greeted by Spike. "Is this the castle of Twilight Sparkle?"
Spike nodded. "It is allow me to take you to her." Allan thanked the purple dragon and followed him the the map room where everyone, including Luna and Cynder were looking at what remained of the proud palace of Canterlot.
"Twilight a guest is here." Looking behind Spike the purple mare saw a bloody Allan and before she could speak the young dragon couple made their way over to him.
"Glad to see you old timer." Spyro greeted him with a handshake.
"Good to see you two in one piece, tell me what has happened."
"Shadow has taken out two kingdoms so far, the first was GriffinStone then Canterlot and as far as we know he has the elder princess, Celestia imprisoned there. Luna, the dark blue alicorn over there said that she fought Shadow and his wounds didn't heal."
"Wait you actually injured him?" Allan asked looking at the dark blue alicorn and she nodded to confirm it.
"Yes I did, with both magic and my blade." She summoned her blade and it had dried blood on its edge surprising Allan all the more.
"Interesting, that must mean he's weaker then we thought but that is no reason to underestimate him. What else do we know?"
"That's about it, oh... he also captured three cities..."
"Two now I freed a place called Apple Loosa from a sizeable army, I also learned he has between sixty to eighty thousand of those things at his beacon call, know I don't know it that's including the two cities nor not."
Everypony went bug eyed upon hear those numbers, an army that large was never heard of in Equestria not even against King Sombra. Then it dawned on Cadance, Shadow is similar to Sombra in many ways. "That's it!" She shouted getting everyone to look at her. "Shadow is like Sombra, both can faze into shadows and are extremely difficult to beat but the crystal heart defeated Sombra what if it can defeat or at least weaken Shadow."
Everyone was thinking it over then Allan spoke, "It might be possible if it defeated a similar foe so I suggest we get everyone over there before he strikes here next." Everypony and dragon nodded in agreement.
"Then it is settled tomorrow Twilight and myself will open portals to the Crystal Empire where Cadance and Shining Armour will help them through, Allan, Cynder and Zephyr will stay with us for protection while Spyro and the crystal guards protect those that dare attack the empire but for now we need to rest before consulting with the mayor first thing in the morning." Luna said and everyone headed off home to gather what they can and bring their families to the castle.
Eight o'clock is when everypony returned with their families for the big move tomorrow and they all shared one room per family. Luna decided to stay with the dragons for the night, Spike and Twilight shared her room and Allan was on the balcony, looking at the fallen kingdom, watching for any early signs of attack. Morning came around and the two princesses Luna and Twilight were in town square along with the elements of harmony, Allan, Cynder and Zephyr were outside.
"You know that beard makes you look at lot older then you were without it." Cynder said with a smirk.
"Will it's not coming off any time soon apparently." Allan said, then looked behind him, "I wounder how it's going in there?"
Inside town square the mayor was silent as Luna explained all that has happened till now and mayor mare was in shock, unable to speak for the longest time. "So Princess Cadence and this Spyro are on their way to the Crystal Empire by portal getting things ready for Ponyville to be relocated for the time being?"
"That's is correct. We just need you to tell everypony to enter our portals with only what they can carry nothing else." Luna said
Mayor mare nodded. "Ok I'll call for a gathering." The three mares walked out of the building can the mayor walked up to a microphone. "Attention citizens of Ponyville please gather round." It took will over an hour for everypony in the town to gather around central square and when they did the mayor spoke.
"We all saw the devastation of Canterlot from a far but the horror isn't over yet the vile monster that destroyed the beloved city plans on striking here next." Everypony gasped at those words. "The princesses have a plan, to open two portals that lead to the Crystal Empire so please take what you can carry nothing else it will slow the progress down, leaving us vulnerable."
"What about the elements of harmony? Can't they do anything?" A green stallion called out.
"They will be protecting us if the changeling's attack unannounced, giving us time to evacuate. Now please gather what you can while the Princesses prepare the portals."
Everypony left heading home to do what was asked of them while everyone else gathered around Allan. "Cynder, Zephyr your with me, we'll take the front line, looking at Canterlot. Rainbow Dash, Applejack and the Wonderbolts you will be in the center of the village, if any get by us, their all yours that is were the portals will be as well. Pinkie Pie, Rarity and... Discord right?" The draconequus nodded. "You three will be by the castle if they want to attack from the side, I highly doubt they'll attack from the Everfree forest it take to long to get around. That leaves Fluttershy and Spike, crowd control, we want them moving in an orderly fashion. If we get out numbered then we fall back to town square and if we fail there then we go into the portals hoping no one is left behind. You all have you spots know let's buy them as much time as possible."
With that everyone headed to their spots waiting for the army to come. Rainbow Dash was getting herself pumped for the fight to come. Zephyr got his dragon armor on, it was the same color as him a deep royal blue and gold, the emblem on his chest matched his cutie mark a shield with the magic symbol in the center of it with dragon wings outside the shield. The front hooves had three claws on each hoof. Pinkie Pie and Discord were cracking jokes to ease the pressure of the up coming fight while Fluttershy and Spike were at other ends of Ponyville getting ponies out of their homes and to make their way to the center of the village, where the Princesses prepare the portals trying to stabilize it before anypony went through it. Allan was calm as ever, he was on his knees, hands on his lap, and his eyes were closed, his breathing slowed and steady lowering his heart rate. As the minutes passed by only a quarter of the village made it through the portals and were greeted by either Cadance or Shining Armour while Spyro and the crystal guards looked for and changelings either coming by air, where Spyro and pegasus guards were or by the portals. The ground troops greeted the ponies and scanned them with magic, making sure that they weren't changelings in disguise.
As the minutes came to the half hour marked less then half made it to the portals and small line up was starting, two of the wonderbolts were doing what they can to move the lines faster. Getting off his knees, Allan saw the army closing in faster then expected and drew his bow, notching an arrow. "Get ready you two." He said to his comrades. As a full hour past the army was know within range of his arrows and he let them fly. Speaking an incantation that was unfamiliar to Zephyr and Cynder, Allan let loose one arrow and when it got in range of the army it exploded killing those in the front line. Cynder then stepped forward. "Allow me to cut them down to size." A small green glow was coming from her mouth before she unleashed a powerful poison blast wiping out the entire front line and those close enough to get covered with the poison.
But not even that slowed them down as they barrelled towards them, drawing his blade, Allan and the others prepared for close quarter combat. The sea of red got closer and closer till they were in range of their weapons, Zephyr and Cynder took to the sky and started hacking them apart while Allan swung his sword lopping off heads and limbs, but the sea of red hardly stopped and headed for the village. Rainbow Dash was high in the sky, watching the trio do their best but the army still headed their way.
"Incoming one o'clock fast!" She shouted down to the others. The wonderbolts readied themselves as the sound of wings closed the distance. Meeting them half way the pegasus' took flight and collided with the army doing what they can to prevent them from going any further. No changelings came from the side, it was a head-on assault and as the minutes passed by Discord and Pinkie Pie were getting bored. "Say what if I teleported us to the action, we can be much better help there." Discord said.
"Okie dokie lokie." Pinkie said with a smile.
"But wouldn't Allan get mad at us? He said to stay here." Rarity said.
"True but what if it was a head-on attack then we are needed at the front lines." Discord said getting the white mare to think it over.
"Very well then."
With a snap of his fingers he teleported everyone to the village square and Rarity gave a scream from the action all around. The wonderbolts along with Zephyr and Cynder were tackling those high above while Allan was a blur of action, leaping from roof tops to the ground killing changelings along the way up or down, luckily none has managed to get close to the portals yet. Snapping his fingers, Discord dawned his Legolas costume, "This will be like guys night only better. Weeeee." Discord shouted going into the fight shooting his bow and arrow. Smiling Pinkie Pie pulled out her party cannon and cranked the power on it. "Heads up." She said, and with a loud BOOM her cannon fire, confetti, cakes, tables, balloons and other party things taking out a number of changelings. As the fight extended the hero's were growing tiered, even Allan, who can go toe to toe against dark elves, was feeling exhausted. Only a quarter left to evacuate but it looked bleach. They slowly moved back towards the portals but Cynder stepped forward. "Cynder what are doing?" Allan asked a little concerned for her. Her mouth was glowing a dark purple and without warning fired a beam of convexity wiping out a huge number of the invading army, then her body started glowing the same color and she curled into a ball, "Take cover!" Allan shouted just before she flung her wings out and shock wave of dark purple energy spread out every where and the army was turned to dust upon impact, nothing remained of the army. Cynder wobbled before falling into her stomach unconscious, Luna walked up her and picked her up with magic, carrying her to the portals, as the last pony entered the portal Luna soon followed.
On the other side of the portals Spyro greeted the last pony then he saw Luna carrying an unconscious Cynder and rushed to her side.
"Is she alright?" Spyro asked
"She's fine just unconscious, she used some kind of attack that sapped her of her energy." Luna replied.
"She used convexity." Allan said stepping through the portal.
"Let me take her to her room." Spyro said and Luna levitated Cynder onto her mates back, and he carried her to the palace. "So she and Spyro have two of the most powerful attacks on record, but the downside of it is it takes all of your strength to use it right?" Shining Armour said and Allan nodded.
"Can it kill Shadow?" Cadence asked.
"Yes but one of them or better yet both of them should face him with some assistance for a clear chance of killing the bastard."

"Do you want the long or short part of it?" Allan asked.

"Six thousand years ago, yes I'm that old, he wasn't evil, in fact quite the opposite he was a member of the first age guardians, there were eight in total, before I became one. There was Tempero, the fire guardian and elder of the clan, then Hydrica, the water guardian, she was a few years younger then our elder. Then came Arcibus and Hibernor, the guardians of lightning and ice, Windu, guardian of the wind, Shadow guardian of the dark elements, Mitilda guardian of the earth element, and Shivina, guardian of the rarest element, light, youngest of all the guardians. Master Windu sought me out and brought me to the temple, back then the dark elves were the main threat against the peace, lead by Melkum. Each one trained me to harness the elements and help train the younglings and them in the art of combat. For years I have had the title of greatest swordsman of the West coast it intrigued them enough to bring me to their home. Years of training and warding off the dark elves then all ended by a war that ended their lineage. But as the years moved by Shadow became more and more isolated, he, being master of the dark elements was in charge of guarding black magic, the same magic the dark elves used to fight us.

"I didn't even enter my season yet, but I read about the symptoms and I have them. There is a way to stop the progress but only a dragon nurse knows how to do it safely. And I was hoping you can help slow the progress." Cynder said lowering her head and looking at the pink mare.
"I'll see what I can do, lay down on your back." Doing what she was asked, Cynder laid on her back and exposed herself to the Princess of love. "I'm no dragon expert, even though you and Spyro practically gave me a book of detailed information of your kind, that doesn't mean I know our world's dragons. Is it possible that your friend might know?"
"Allan? Maybe...should we wake him though?"
"I see no other way you wait here I'll go wake him." Cynder nodded and again quietly making her way down the hall, Cadence made her way to Allan's room, opening the door she made sure not to startle the large guy, closing the door she walked up to his bed, removed the blanket, and her eyes widen at the sight of the many scars he had just on his back. Shaking her head she shook him whispering his name, only to get a groan in response, she continued to shake him till he was looking at her with the hundred yard stare, ready to rip her head off.
"Sorry to wake you so late but we got a slight problem....Cynder's pregnant."
His eyes widen, his mouth saying 'Oh shit' but it didn't come out, grabbing his under shirt he and Cadence made they way to Cynder. "Is it true? Your pregnant? " was the first things that he said and she nodded. Cadence then explained what she thinks about the dragons here, how their heat works compared to Cynder's and that the magic here might have affected her heat to be more like the dragons heat here. Allan was pacing back and forth wonder what to do know. "For sure your with little ones, it not just a bad stomach ache?" Cynder gave him a looked that said really and go to hell at once, raising his hands up in defense, "Just asking. I've never heard of something like this happening, then again I've never really dimension jump before so I don't know what to say. I take it only we know of the news?"
"Yes I don't want to tell Spyro other wise he might do something stupid."
"Hmmm I think our time table has just shortened if this world's magic hasn't affected her birth stages we got two weeks before she starts showing her pregnancy and that will make her Shadow's number one target. Cadence go wake up your husband and Luna, I'll get Zephyr."
"Why him?" Cynder asked
"Luna told me is an excellent strategist and we're going to need that. We'll meet back here, bring coffee for everyone to stay wake."
The two headed to find those they were looking for, Shining and Zephyr were easy to get up but Luna was a little harder to wake, not only was she curled in beside Spyro but it seems like she can be a heavy sleeper when she wants to be. Eventually they got her up, having to duck under the bed as they woke Spyro up as well. "Where you off too?" He asked still asleep.
"So our time sheet just got cut short and now we need to bring the fight to the only known creature that actually captured Canterlot, GriffinStone, and Twilight's castle. And to add to our worries we got a pregnant dragon, no I'm not blaming you Cynder you didn't see this coming either, that has two weeks before the rest learn of her secret, we are going to need a miracle." Zephyr said
"No what we need is a game plan to bring the fight to them, and to do it in a short amount of time so put your minds together and let's think of an attack that gives us the home field advantage." Allan said then the room went quiet.
Everyone came up with various ideas but they forgot the vast number of changelings that now patrol the area. "I got it." Cynder said. "Why not have Zephyr, Allan, myself and Luna, teleport into Twilight's castle around night time, say two nights from now, kill those that are inside and lure the rest in once we have taken care of those inside. We know the layout of the castle better then them, Allan's a quick study and we got the right colors for a night time operation. And I'm only saying two nights so we can sleep for tomorrow night and be rested for the operation the next night."
Everyone was thinking it over and nodded in agreement. "But just to be safe make sure someone is near you Cynder at all times. We don't want you to miscarry your first clutch." Shining said and Cynder pointed at Luna who interned smiled in agreement.
"Then it's settled two nights from now we go inside the castle, wipe out the intruders, lure the rest in and terminate them. Sounds good, then go full scale on the royal palace with everyone in dark clothing or better yet armor. I'll talk to discord about the armor see if he will help." Cadence said.
"Oohh but of course I'll help the soon to be mom help in her grand scheme, as you do realize my girl will be no doubt part of the full scale attack and so will I, so I'll give everyone either dark clothing or armor, whatever they prefer." "Think nothing of it." With that he snapped his fingers and vanished.
Allan took down his sound barrier and they all headed for the kitchen for some coffee and light snack, mainly fruits and vegetables, telling stories, sharing laughs, soon the others joined their, "early riser" for breakfast.

Made some changes to the back story of Allan as I've been currently writing his story and felt to update the story here to match his.

Brining the fight to them
The morning was full of laughter as they recalled some funny stories, or adventures that they remember and the old war veteran had many to share. "So me and an old friend, his name is Vernon, he's a grizzly bear were out and about on his island, looking for the serpents that threaten his village, and mind you these were no small snakes they were sixty feet plus. As we walked the path they left he stepped over a rock, missed the path, tumbled down the small hill and into a tree with a hive on it, honey just poured on him. The best part was when he climbed the tree and started sucking the honey out, once he was done he came back with a swollen tongue." Everybody started laughing.
"Ok ok I remember back when I was a just starting out as a royal guard, and the general back then told me to stay serious no matter what and so I did when my high school friends came by, my parents, but not for Twilight, we giggled, took funny photos. When the general came back and caught us he was about to lecture us but little twilly gave him her puppy eyes and he cracked and we all did funny photos." Shining said and they continued laughing.
"So much for Mr. Serious." Spyro laughed.
"Me and Fluttershy were having a tea party at my place and we normally catch our flying sandwiches and she caught a feisty one as it took her for a ride around my place. By the time she came back she was so dizzy you'd think she was drunk." Discord said and the laughter grew when the pale yellow Pegasus blushed at the memory.
They shared stories up till lunch then Spyro looked Allan and asked,"What was your first mission, you never told us about your earlier days?"
Taking a sip of his coffee he then spoke. "It was a contract, some knights from a kingdom came looking for me and back then I was living in a log house outside of a village. They found me by the help of the peasants and told me that Melkum, ruler of the dark elves tried to kidnap the Princess and his majesty was willing to pay me for guarding his beloved treasure. One night I learned why he wanted her protected, she is a child of the blue moon, an ancient human prophecy that is said a child under the light of the blue moon can either kill the dark elves or help them create a monster. On her 26th birthday a pale gentleman and lady arrived, back then I didn't know what he looked like, but he had no pointed ear so we believed we was from the far North and in result he took her right from under our nose, I was in charge of finding her with a small squad of knights, for seven days we travel until the edge of the dark forest came into view and I went in alone. Once I got to the fortress I fought like never before, moving at speeds I didn't thought possible but I didn't show that instead I made my way to the room of councilmen and there she was, naked and bleeding, and three night elves, faster, stronger then most dark elves, long claws and yellow eyes. I couldn't believe my eyes an old elf tale came true that night and died that night. Taking the princess I left and their leader was much surprised at my skills, to kill three night elves and only taking the damage I had, face off with him, steal his prize and run day and night back to the kingdom it left an impression on him. From that point on he had his sights on me, my first contract and first foe. The king ordered my wounds looked after and by the end of it all he paid me a kings ransomed for saving his daughter."
Everyone was impressed by his story that they all stopped eating to listen his tale till he finished then continued eating, then Cadence looked at the young dragons, "Any plans of a house?"
"Actually yeah, after doing a favour for the king of the earth dragons, he got his best builders building a house to our design in twilight falls." Spyro replied
"Nice any rooms for kids?" Cadence
"When we feel it is the right time to have our first clutch." Cynder said, Cadence nodded not wanting to over due it.
The gang remained in the kitchen telling stories about the adventures they have shared, how the girls handled a tyrant named Terks and how they unlocked a chest that came from the tree of harmony by gifts that they've earned by representing their element and how that became the castle of harmony. Spike spoke about how he saved the Crystal Empire by the former ruler King Sombre, with help. The guys told how they met their marefriends, Zephyr explained how he was new to the Lunar Republic and was looking for a house in Ponyville and caught Twilight staring while at Rarity's bouquet and he asked her out a month later, shared many adventures with the girls and as joke from Luna who knew before her sister assigned him to protect the princess of harmony. Hector finished three weeks worth of work and decided to go for a stroll and he stumbled upon Big Macintosh, who was selling apple cider to a lumber jack, who has the special fire wood that burns different colors. Big Mac told him to go to Ponyville for their annual apple cider day, where he met the love of his life and asked her out a week later.
As the day grew late everybody went to bed late, come morning the tension was a little high as those who had to leave tonight check and prepared what they need for this night time assault. Zephyr got Hector to hammer out old dents in his armor, Allan got Discord to make him a black leather vest that came down to mid thigh, black shirt, gloves, pants, and leather boots for tonight, and for the time being, Luna turned the handle of his sword from white to dark blue. The four of them where in the throne room with the layout of the castle of friendship.
"Allan will take the hallway with the throne room, I'll take the upper hall with mine and Twilight's bedroom. Cynder you take the ball room and don't be shy of messing it up with your abilities, give those changelings hell, Luna will take care of the main hall and entrance with your help on the entrance. Once we have finished with the ones inside we remain in our current position while Allan lures them from the balcony then hide getting them to scatter around in hope to find him. If we wish and take the extra step and dispose the dead bodies we could or wait till they are all dead." Zephyr said.
"Wait till we have finished them all, psychological warfare, it gets them spooked much easier with their dead comrades about, and more likely to make a mistake if they are scared enough." Allan said, getting Zephyr to nod in agreement. As the day becomes evening the squad of four gathered what they needed before nightfall. As night approached, Luna teleported them inside the castle of harmony and sure enough they were greeted by the changelings, immediately taking them out first before going to where they planned they should be stationed, along their way killing the red army. Luna and Cynder reached their spot first, having everyone help her take out those in the main hall, Luna started looking into the rooms near by as for Cynder, she was giving her foes a hard time. In the center of a twister was the pregnant dragoness and she was sucking in changelings before coming out of her twister and either burning them or blasting them with poison, and those near by when she spat globs of poison were affected as well. Magic beams blasted at her but they fazed through her as she remained in her shadow form for safety and used her shadow fire to take those out near her, when the number of enemies decreased she reappeared and started another twister, tables flying around hitting her foes ripping off wings and once it calmed down she finished those off that were still breathing.
Zephyr was also busy with his hall, tight and hard to move around in and he had to kill a handful at a time as more and more popped out of nearby rooms. Over at the throne room, there was only bodies and pools of blood, sitting on the table Allan was cleaning his blade from all the blood on it, waiting for the others to give him the okay to bring in the rest of the changelings that took over Ponyville. Fazing through the ground was Cynder. "You really are ruthless when your out numbered aren't you, time to bring in the rest."
"Not that ruthless and tell the others to get ready."
As Cynder fazed back through the floor, Allan made his way to the balcony, drawing his bow and notching an arrow he carefully picked his targets, seeing the commander of the group talking with a few of his troops he found his targets. Drawing back the arrow he took and breath in and when he released his breath he let the arrow loose and it whistled through the air. "I want you to find a way into the Crystal Empire no excuses that is their last strong hold and Shadow wants it turned to a pile of..." Before he could finish talking the arrow took out one of his men, piercing through his head, before the others could react two more fell. The general noticed that the arrows are coming from one direction, from the castle, reaching for his small telescope he saw the shine of an arrow getting notched though he could not see who the attacker was. Once again a changeling near him took the hit and that made him furious. "Change of plans lads we have intruders in the castle and we will flush them out. Everyone to the castle!"
The changeling army took to the air and made their way to the castle, at this point Allan was back inside ready and waiting as were the others. Checking up on Cynder, Luna walked into the ballroom. "Sister of the night where are you?" Cynder flashed her tail at Luna and she came over. "How are thy holding up?"
"So far good not cramps, aches or pains yet but it wouldn't hurt if I had some company once and awhile during the fight."
"You can always count on me sister of the night."
Breaking the hug the Princess of the night teleported back to her post and heard the sound of wings drawing near, lots of wings. Breaking the darkness of the main hall was a cloud of red and Luna smiled, charging her horn she waited until they were where she wanted them to be, drawing closer and closer Luna unleashed a beam of dark blue magic taking out almost half of the army. The others looked stunned at the sudden lose of numbers, and by a single shot no less but if they didn't kill their attacker then their lord will not be pleased with them. In the upper hallway where Zephyr is, he was having much better luck taking on the changelings when he has the advantage of space, using his dragon clawed hoof shoes he was making them all look like foolish fillies. Diving in and out of the army in his area taking out numbers by the dozens, slowly decreasing the once mighty changeling army. The ballroom was a blaze of shadow and shadow fire as Cynder moved around killing her foes without them seeing her and getting them angry and having their dead brethren around them only infuriated them more determined to find their silent killer. Coming from the shadows, Cynder unleashed a stream of poison upon her unsuspecting foes taking out a couple dozen and another infected with the spreading vapor before returning to the shadows. Up in the throne room the changelings have created a fight circle as their commander took the form of an evil looking Allan, red eyes the black stripes still on his hide, dark red hair and a dark red uniform, a blood red long sword with the cross guard looking like bat wings.
"You will pay for killing my brother in Apple Loosa." The changelings voice was deep and rough.
"Not likely, you may look like me but you don't have my skills."
The two circled each other for a while before the changeling lunged at Allan, blocking the over head swing he retaliated with a vertical swing but the changeling stepped back and parried, moving the thrust to the side Allan kicked his foe in the gut, pushing him back. "Its going to be a short fight, and I'm going to savior this." Allan taunted. Down at the main entrance Luna was using her moon magic to finish off the rest, stepping forward she then vanished, sank into a portal and started killing changelings left and right without taking a single hit. Moving back in front of them she summoned magic forms of her moon blade and they took care of the rest of the army she faced, going through them with ease and into the next one behind them. As they all dropped from the sky she smile and turned to mist and headed for the ballroom. In the upper hallway the dragon knight was soaking in blood as his group was lying on the ground dead or dying from deep lacerations across their bodies, smiling at his work he headed to the main entrance, their meeting point. Inside the ballroom was a mess of bodies, tables and chairs, though not quite done Cynder started feeling dizzy, hiding at the far end of the room, panting slightly, though not hard enough for her foes to find her. A small cloud of mist came before her then it formed into Luna.
"Are you alright?" She whispered.
"Dizzy...t-that's all..." Cynder panted "C-can you..."
"I got them covered." With that Luna turned to mist and appeared behind what was left of the changeling summoned her magic and vaporized the rest in mere seconds, Cynder came out of her hiding spot and Luna let her lean on her as they made their way to the front doors. "Can I ask you something? Is it safe if I want a child with Spyro as well?" Cynder giggled at the thought and thought it over. Up in the throne room the circle was wider and thinner as Allan taunted his foe and he swung wildly, killing his own men if they were near his blades reach but if he wasn't then it was just air or his attacked blocked by Allan followed by an easy hit on him, making him more angry. "For a commander your slow to pick up my play here, I'm sure Shadow would have told you how to swing a sword like a warrior not a child."
"Shut up you waste of meat." He swung again and lopped off three heads getting him to roar with anger.
"Will not saying this isn't fun but....I have to be some where so goodbye." Allan sheathed his sword and pounded the floor and fire incinerated the army, and put a few scorch marks on the chairs, table and walls. "I'm sure they can clean it off." Walking out of the throne room, he made his way down to the main entrance where the rest were waiting for him. Seeing their final party arrive, Luna opened a portal back to the Crystal Empire and they went in arriving back in the Throne room where Cadence and Shining Armor were in a meeting, getting everyone to look at the blood soaked group in fear, disgust and as if they have to clean themselves.
"Sorry Princess Cadence for interrupting but needless to say our mission was a success." Luna said.
"Excellent! Now please go clean up and we will discuss our next target, Shadow's headquarters, Canterlot."
Bowing to her, the group headed for the showers to get cleaned up. Luna lead Cynder to the mares shower room and Zephyr lead Allan to the stallions shower rooms, removing their uniforms, Zephyr couldn't help but to stare at the scars that were on Allan's back. "ninety percent of my scars came from the Dark War, I was the lead general, I never stayed on a hill or behind our line and gave orders, I was part of the front line and lead our force into and out of battles. And if you want to know how many I have in total its twenty six all together."
"Ouch." was all Zephyr could say before they went to get their showers.
Inside the mares shower room, Luna was rubbing Cynder down getting her to sigh with content. "You didn't answer my question back in the castle." Luna said getting Cynder to look at her.
"Thought you were joking. Do you really want a child with Spyro? Even though he wants to return home with me and raise a family like we said we would?"
"It gets lonely here and my sister, will she's fun but I'm..."
"You want to be a mom, do something different is that what your telling me?"
Luna nodded her head and Cynder had to think a bit. "Will it's not just up to me you may want to ask Spyro about this as well after all he is part of this discussion. But lets focus on freeing your world from Shadow then we'll talk more about this ok?"
"Ok sounds fair." Luna said and as Cynder stood up she gave her butt a smack getting her to return the favor to Luna.
"Before we do something we now we'll enjoy lets meet the others." Cynder said and they dried themselves off and headed back to the throne room where everyone else except the two males were waiting and no sooner as they took their seats the boys walked in. Allan dressed in a dark brown leather vest, a white shirt, grey pants and his boots. Once everyone was seated Cadence rolled out a map of Canterlot's interior.

Night has fallen over Equestria, Canterlot is on full alert, having no word back from the squad in Ponyville or Apple Loosa means that the young dragons took them out or so that is what Shadow believes but in fact he's about to face an old friend from the past. Beyond the Crystal Mountains was the Crystal Empire and everybody was ready for what they hope to be the final fight, Luna has suited every pony with her lunar republic armor and Discord enhanced it to be more durable in combat and against magic. The young dragons also wore armor snapped on by Discord, restricting none of their movements nor did they loose flexibility and flight, but Allan is the only one who isn't wearing any armor saying he has grown accustom to fighting without armor. Summoning her magic Luna teleported everyone into her training grounds.
"AAAHHHH!" Some pony shouted.
"Sshhh commander Evening it me Luna." The alicorn whispered, covering the mares mouth.
"Princess? What's going on why are you here?"
"A dragon has taken over Canterlot and tonight we aim to take it back and send him to Tartarus. But we can use you and your troops help."
"But your highness they've only had three weeks worth of training."
"And if they survive and do well they will join your elite team. But for now they stay close to you."
The mare saluted Luna and then followed the group up to the main training ground, opening a secret door that was in the mares locker room, everyone looked at Luna. "Ohh please I put one in the stallions locker as well, I'm not that bad." She said getting a few chuckles from the group. Drawing out his dagger, Allan grabbed the changeling from behind and sliced its neck, slowly putting it down, pointing at Cynder, she nodded and vanished to the shadows taking out three quickly and quietly. Luna turned to mist and also took out three without them uttering a word, Zephyr took two out side by side with his mounted claws. Creeping from behind Spyro place a paw inches away and electrocuted the changeling's heart frying it before it could shout, then he froze another one. The girls could only watch knowing that they could only alert the others if they failed their first attempted at a silent kill, then sneaking by them was Evening and she got behind one put her hooves around one's head and snapped its neck then did it again to two more. Having almost all the changeling's dead, one looked back and before he could shout an arrow was shot into the back of his throat getting Cynder, Luna and Spyro to quickly kill the rest. Turning back Spyro motioned his paw to the rest saying come on, coming out of the mares locker room they walked over to the main entrance and split up Luna the ponies to the left, Allan and the dragons to the right.
To the left Luna, Zephyr, Evening and Shining were up front, having the combat experience they need to quietly make it outside, Cadence and the elements were behind them, the rookies at the back. Evening held up a hoof and listened, "a patrol is near, Captain Armor put a shield around them then they can scream." Nodding Shining waited until he saw the patrol and they walked right into the shield, walking up to the patrol Cadence turned them to crystals then with a tap they crumbled to dust, using her magic she hid them behind a flower pot. Moving on down the hall it was the same procedure, Shining would create a shield around a patrol and someone would take care of the rest, when Discord had his turn he turned them into Venus fly trap plants then placed them up with the other plants, getting the others to chuckle at the irony. Continuing down the hall they all stopped as Evening's ears perked up then her eyes widen, the sound of claws were clicking against the floor, big ones. Taking to the air Twilight levitating her grounded friends, they watched quietly as Shadow walked right under them, their eyes widen at the size of the dragon, 60 feet plus long, scars where Luna struck him and surprisingly no changeling patrol around him but there was no way they would attack him. Luna saw that he was heading for the throne room, the same place their companions where headed, reaching for her crystal that Allan gave her, Cadence and Twilight before the mission she spoked softly into it.
"Allan its Luna we have a visual on Shadow and he's heading your way, you have six minutes at best to reach there before he does."
"Copy that Luna thanks for the notice." Allan put away his crystal and looked at the two dragons. "The target is coming we got six minutes to get there before him."
"Leave this to me then boys." Cynder said with a grin. Fazing into her shadow form, she snaked away and the boys watched as she would yank a changeling from his position, reappear before another on and incinerate him with her fire breath, then move to the next one and sink her claws in it, over dosing it with her poison. The next one got a face full of shadow fire and the one next to him had shadow claws pierce through him, and with their long range sent another one unexpectedly into the air, where Cynder grabbed him by the throat and did several somersaults and threw him to the ground before he meet a fiery end. As the last two stood by the throne room doors, Cynder appeared before them and sank her large shadow claws into them, killing them before they even had a chance to scream.
"You got one scary girl, you know that right?" Allan asked Spyro.
"I do know." He said unsure of what to think of after seeing that.
The two hurried to catch up to Cynder and lay an ambush for Shadow for his return.
Down below in the dungeons, Discord had turned all the guards to stone, and saw that the royal guards looked like walking skeletons, only having water and bread on the floor by them. "Oh boy." Was all Discord could say as he looked at the guards turning around he saw Celestia, a little better then her men but she still was too skinny to be in healthy conditions.
"Tia can you hear me?"
Looking up with hazy eyes she lit up at who she saw. "Discord is that you? I couldn't be happier to see a friend. Where's Luna what's going on." Just then a loud boom shook the place.
"Looks like the fun as begun. Ok here's what's going to happen I'll recover your lost muscles and then all of you will be needed outside helping Princess Luna and the others hold off the changeling army while Allan, Spyro and Cynder take care of Shadow. Twilight and her friends have the elements of harmony in case things so wrong, got the plan? Good now let's get you out there helping." With a snap of his fingers and a clap the doors vanished and they all became what they looked like before being starved to death. "Tally-hooo!" Discord shouted and led the charge of prisoner guards to the battle but Celestia made a right turn instead of going with her men.
Outside in the palace garden was chaos as magic beams were fired back and forth, the ground was covered with fighting ponies all trying to get the upper hand of the battle. Luna was in the sky, holding nothing back as she defended her kingdom. "High ho silver!" Came Discords voice and as he started snapping his fingers the royal guard army came forth and joined the fight but she saw that her sister wasn't among them.
"Where is Tia?"
"Why she's....oohhh" Discord said as he saw no sign of the ruler of Equestrian. The a loud boom came from the palace. "Not good."
Shadow's tail came crashing down but Allan did a back handspring to avoid the attack and as Shadow had his attention on Allan, Spyro fired a fireball at Shadow and it struck his face, glaring at the purple dragon and launched at him, jaws open. Spyro flew higher and Shadow's jaws clamped shut on air, he then roared in pain as Cynder slashed his shoulder. Swiping his paw and missed the dragoness as she fazed into shadow then unleashed a poison breath, but was over powered by Shadow's dark fire breath, knocking her out of the air. Spyro caught his mate and as Shadow was charging up a dark fireball and that left him open for Allan as his left hand glowed a light green then tossed a magic sphere and it struck Shadow in the side of his head. Getting back into the air Spyro and Cynder unleashed aether and convexity but their attack was countered by Shadow's own magic laced shadow fire breath, knowing they were being over powered they slowly backed off until they saw Allan take to the air and drove his sword into Shadow's mid back. Roaring in pain he lost his breath and the two beams collided with his chest, removing his sword Allan got off him just before he slammed into a wall.
Down the hall Celestia could hear the battle in the throne room as she drew closer to it.
Outside thing were going the allied ways as they started to see a decrease in enemy numbers, though they too have lost some warriors but with Luna leading the army they continued to push forward. Though the enemies though their weakest link was Fluttershy, those who got too close came face to face with her stare causing them to freeze up, as if they were paralyzed then taken out by anyone close by.
"Luna a second wave is coming from Griffin stone!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Cadence you and Discord go take care of them, take as many troops as you need, we are almost done here." Luna ordered and the Princess of love and the draconeguus took off with a number of pegasus guards, even Rainbow Dash was going with them. Seeing the vast number of red heading their way Cadence looked at Rainbow and nodded, smiling the cyan colored pegasus zip by flying upward gaining speed before she dove back down breaking the sound barrier and created the legendary sonic rainboom. The blast from the rainboom was so powerful that Cadence had to shield her men and watch as many red changelings fell from the sky and into the Celestial Sea where sea serpents ate their fill, though more were still coming for the royal army, Rainbow dashed through the red army knocking more out of the sky before looping over them and returning to her post beside Cadence.
Luna felt the blast from where she was and so did the enemies and that gave her and Twilight the opportunity and unleashed powerful beams of magic upon the crimson army. Some shield themselves while others perished and those that shielded themselves could only watched their comrades die. When the bombardment was done the changelings opened fire and aimed for the two strongest until a magic shield reflected their attacks at them, forgetting that Shining Armor was famous for his strong shield and scrambled so that they wouldn't get hit by their own attacks, some succeeded others not so much as they were killed by their own attacks. Hearing the sound of wings off in the distance every pony looked and saw an ocean of red coming towards Cantorlot.
"Son of a bitch." Was all Luna had to say.
Getting closer to her throne room Celestia opened the doors that had plenty of holes in them and saw the three take on Shadow, summoning her magic Celestia left herself wide open and through the corner of his eye Shadow saw this and dug his claws into the ground and a stream of black crystals raced for the Princess. Seeing the attack, Cynder shot poison at the black dragon and got in front of Celestia, screaming in pain as the dark crystals stabbed her, penetrating her right side all the way through missing her liver and kidney by inches, her left hind leg, scratching her femur and tibia, grazing her right side under her wing and dislocating a few vertibras in her tail and back. Laughing, Shadow know though he had the upper hand as Spyro looked on in horror as his mate took the attack head on, landing beside his mate he felt her ragged breath and it angered him. His eyes flashed, now a light purple and an aura surrounded him his paw glowed with a rich purple hue spinning around he swiped at the air unleashing three claw marks flying at Shadow. Allan hit the decks as the attack flew over his head and it slammed into the black dragon, sending him through the thrones and into the wall behind them.
Before Shadow could even breath a purple aura surrounded him and he was tossed into the up to the ceiling and he fell down, getting a beam of aether to his chest sending him back into the back wall. Shadow turned to mist and Spyro vanished in a flash of purple and within seconds both dragons emerged and Shadow got blasted out onto the balcony. "Your done killing innocents." Spyro blasted Shadow off the balcony then he folded his wings, stood on his hind legs and charged his aether fury attack, rising up into the air a light purple sphere surrounded him and the next second the sphere exploded outward expanding all the way out to the Celestial Sea and the Luna Ocean. Out on the battle field everyone felt the power of the blast, wiping out every changeling at Cantorlot and at the cities they have captured, every pony saw the purple shock wave and cheered as it blasted the changelings to nothing as for Shadow he was severely injured and flew back to the canyon. Luna saw Spyro fall from the sky and she teleported to him and caught him with her magic and made her way to the throne room where Allan was using a form of magic to decentagrate the dark crystals that stabbed Cynder, slowly putting her on the ground.
"We need to leave now." Allan calmly said not taking his eyes off Cynder and Luna teleported everyone back to the Crystal Empire.
At the Empire Allan was applying special magic to the dragons after a few grueling hours he felt he has done what he can do then he headed for the throne room, a scowl on his face. In the room Cadence sat on her throne, looking at her aunty with a disgusted look on her face, bursting through the doors Allan looked ready to tear Celestia apart.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" He shouted. " Discord told you what do do right? Then why disobey them? You thought you can join our battle, you should have joined your forces be a symbol to them. Now because of your irrigance we almost lost a pregnant dragoness and her first clutch, Spyro drained everything into that attack nearly ending his own life. Had you not interfered that bastard would have been dead but he got away. Next time someone gives you the high and mighty ruler of Equestria an order listen to them!" Allan shouted, punching the wall by the balcony and created a fist size hole in it. "If we loose them their blood will be on YOUR hooves no one else's. Now we have to hunt down Shadow before he recovers fully!"
"But where do we even begin he could anywhere?" Cadence asked.
"Then I'll scorch the planet to find him!" Allan shouted slamming the doors behind him leaving everyone glaring at Celestia as she hung her head.
"Sister what were you thinking? Do you not recall our last battle with him? We lost and he was going easy no doubt and this time from the looks of the throne room he was going full out. Even I dare not challenge Allan, he's a battle harden general he knows how to plan attacks, no offense to you Zephyr and Shining. In the old cave where his journey to rule Equestria began, Shadow leaned against the wall, huffing and wheezing from the injuries he sustained during the battle of Cantorlot but now he has to worry about the greatest tracker in his world hunting him down and killing him again but the question that puzzles him is how he got here in the first place. Sensing a darker power Shadow looked around but saw nothing, then a flash and stepping out of smoke was a ghost, orange markings as though they were fire coming from his black body, his eyes were yellow/orange burning a hole into his blacken soul.
"You have failed me Shadow." His voice was rough and ragged. "I brought you here to destroy the rulers of this world so you can claim it as your own and once again defeated by a half-bred scum and a whelping so know you will face the consequences while I plan the next massive attack. You should have won, being a master of the dark arts it should have been easy for you, now suffer." With that the ghost vanished in a cloud of smoke, leaving Shadow in the dark thinking to himself who was that? And what did he mean by the next massive attack? Thinking about these Shadow could only feel himself grow weaker as his injuries start to set in.
Far to the North Allan, Shining, and Evening were passed the Crystal Mountains, a two day trip by foot, but having magic the Captain of the royal guards teleported them just hours away from the Galloping Canyon. As they walked towards their target, Allan's communication crystal set off.

Everyone backed away as Dark Spyro landed and walked towards the fallen dragon. "You thought the battle in the mountains was bad, try this." Once more Dark Spyro blasted a beam of convexity throwing Shadow into the canyon wall. Getting up he blasted his magic laced shadow fire, colliding with Dark Spyro's, and was being over powered by him and when it hit, it sent him further into the wall. Coming out he launched at Spyro but he took to the air and was a flurry of attacks and with his last attack, a tail strike it send Shadow flying past the trio, digging up the ground behind them. Dark Spyro took to the air and bombarded Shadow with convexity, pushing him deeper into the ground, easing off his attack he taunted.
"Your the fearsome Dark Lord but I don't see it. Show me what you got."

Spyro knew what Cynder was wanting and he quickly took to the air to join her on a midnight flight. "Hey where are we going?" Spyro asked and all he got was a seductive smile from the dark blue dragoness before him. 'the river' Spyro thought to himself, the river is the first place the young dragons first mated and have been mating there ever since, no-one knows its location except them making it a perfect get way place. It was a full moon tonight and its light was reflecting off Cynder's dark blue scales, giving her a beautiful shine that Spyro loved every time he saw it. Just as they were closing in on their destination a storm started brewing their way, unsettling the young dragons. "Lets head back." Cynder said but it was too late. The storm closed the distance faster then expected and it's winds started to pull in the dragons.
The storm was relentless and fast. Spyro and Cynder struggled against the howling winds, the pounding rain stinging their eyes as it drummed against their scales. The dragons had to duck and weave while lightning flashed above them and thunder hammered the evening sky. They were still stunned by how quickly it rolled in, having thought there would be more then enough time to get to the safety of the temple. Now through narrowed eyes, they struggled against the winds as it whipped about their wings, making flying very difficult.
"Spyrooooooo! I think we should laaaaaand! These winds are too much! We'll injure ourselves if we don't descend below!" Cynder called out over the shrieking winds.
"We're almost there Cynder! Just hold on and don't loose sight of me no matter what!" the dragon shouted back.
It was hard to see against this downpour. Spyro was beginning to think they had been blown off course. If that was true, then there really was no way of getting back. He had to land below and seek shelter under the trees or in a cave or a hole even. This storm was a nasty one and it was playing hard ball. Spyro banked a hard left and began his landing. Their wings were tiring from having to battle the winds too much and they knew if they kept this up, it was a lost cause. Opening his eyes wider, he strained to make out some open spot among the forest that he could drop down into.
As he was scanning the winds suddenly changed on him. Spyro grunted and tried to adjust only to be knocked around by some foreseen force. Cynder wasn't far behind her voice was lost in the howling gusts. The dragons were out of control, the constant change and shift was too much to be able to adjust. Then they felt like some invisible hand or rope or some thing grab their tails. Before they could react, the dragons were hurled into the storm. Spinning, tumbling, the two found themselves being drawn into the storm.
"Cynder!"
"Yeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. . . . ." they shouted in unison.
The voices were lost as they vanished within the center of the storm as it closed in on itself. As the pair tumbled through the dark clouds, the clapping thunder, flashing lightning, pounding rain and winds, both felt a queasy feeling in the pit of their stomachs. The pressure was building up all over their bodies become intense around the skulls, like they were being twisted and stretched painfully. Just when it felt like they were going to be crushed like egg shells, the two were hurled through a sort of light and found themselves free falling.
"Too bad Shining didn't want to stay up and watch the Northern lights with me."
Princess Cadance was sitting on her balcony watching the Northern Lights dance across the night sky that Luna has decorated with her stars, making sure that every consolation was in place. As the princess of love enjoyed the show, she soon noticed that they started fading and a sharp wind picked up. Summoning her magic, she cast a force field around herself and thought, "The weather ponies said nothing about a storm tonight, what gives?" Wanting to know what's happening Cadance watched as the clouds above started opening and two creatures flew out, heading for the open fields outside her empire. As soon as the creatures flew out the storm died, Cadance lowered her shield and rushed to find her night guards.
Once she did she told them of what she saw and they headed out to the crash sight expecting a meteor of some sort, but once they got to the sight they were stunned at what they saw. Two dragons lay unconscious before their hooves, a purple and gold dragon with fins running from his head to his tail, two golden curved horns on his head and large orange wings, wings that could put any pegasus to shame. And a dark blue and magenta pink dragon, six horns on her head, two on top, sides and cheeks. but what scared them were the menacing scythe like blades on her tail and wings. "Lieutenant go tell the Princess, we'll set up a barrier around them."
"Yes sir." The lieutenant gave a quick salute before running towards the empire. Making his way to the throne room where Cadance was he then told her what was there. "My lady two dragons were at the crash site, unconscious. One was a purple and gold looked like a male and the other was a dark blue with dark pink female. The captain is setting up a barrier until you decide what to do."
Cadence had no words for what she was hearing, dragons on her property, thoughts were going through her mind. Were they dangerous? where did they come from? how powerful were they? Shaking her head and taking a calming breath Cadence replied. "Thank you lieutenant we'll deal with them in the morning now go back to help your comrades."
"Yes your highness."
Morning and things were off to a rough start, Shining Armour having heard the tales of what a dragon can do to pony villages, he decided to attack them before they could recover and cause damage to his home greatly underestimating at their recovery speed and soon found himself against a very pissed off purple dragon, who was defending his still unconscious mate. As a guard moved from the side closing in, Spyro slammed his paw and the earth itself punched the guard in the gut, knocking the wind out of his lungs dropping him to the floor. Another tried to rush him from the sky but was blown away by Spyro's wind breath sending the armored pegasus crashing down. Huffing, puffing and sore from the storm from last night Spyro was determined to protect his mate no matter the pain he was in. Six now enclosed the dragon, bad call as Spyro used his ice tail to send them flying away, armor damaged and covered in thick ice
Having enough of his men falling to one dragon, Shining summoned his magic and Spyro saw this and knew he needed an ace, like now. "Please tell me I can still use it." closing his eyes shut, he focused on a power he has never used in a long time and as the white unicorn blasted his magic, time seemed to slow to a crawl. Smiling at his triumph, Spyro created an ice figure of himself, (like subzero in mortal combat) and headed around it and attacked his opponent, unleashing a flurry of melee attacks then knocking the unicorn away just as time came back to normal. "Aaarrrggghhh!!!" Shining shouted as he fell back to the ground and grunted from all the pain he was now in, looking up, he saw that Spyro was crouching low to the ground and his men closing the distance between them. But Spyro flared up with an almighty roar unleashing his fire fury sending every pony around him far away from him, decimating their armor and knocking them out cold.
Spyro's legs shaking beneath him, treating to give way as he continued to stand despite the strain his body has taken. "What in Tartarus is going on here?!" came a females voice, looking up Spyro saw another winged pony and readied for another round. Upon closer inspection this one had a pink coat, her mane and tail had three colors, pale yellow, pink, and purple, she wore golden shoes, necklace and a crown upon her head behind her horn. Her wings were purple at the tip, a crystal heart on her flank and her purple eyes shined with anger, not at Spyro but at the white unicorn.
"I said wait till morning to talk to them NOT attack them!" she yelled to no one in particular.
"But Cadance their dragons, their dangerous." the white unicorn said, flattening his ears as she glared at him.
"I don't see that, I see a dragon that is protecting his friend from possible threats to her safety. Take your men and get healed I'll talk with him alone."
"Yes dear." The white unicorn round up his men, those who could stand carried those out cold and they left and it was only Cadence and a very weary Spyro.
"Please lay down before you fall down I promise I won't hurt you." her voice suddenly became calm and soft. Spyro laid down, keeping his eyes on this new creature. " Sorry about Shining Armor, he's not normally like that, I'm Princess Cadence, ruler of the Crystal Empire...and you are....?"
"Spyro and this is Cynder, my mate..." Spyro grunted and took a rugged breath threatening to collapse.
"Here let me help." Cadance's horn started to glow a light blue and before long Spyro was glowing the same color and as quickly as she summoned her magic it vanished and Spyro felt better. "Feel better?"
"Much thank you."
"No problem know please tell about yourself and where you come from."
Spyro started to tell Cadance about himself, about how he was orphaned as an egg and was adopted by dragonflies, how he met Ignitus who's name brought a tear fall from his eye. That he was normally an outcast because of his color due to what the previous purple dragon had done and that a purple dragon is born once every ten generations, five hundred years in dragon years, that alone shocked Cadance, Spyro kept out Cynder's past figured that it be best if Cynder told Cadance that herself. He also told her that he can wield more then one element unlike all the other dragons in his realm. He told her of the war against the first purple dragon, Malefor and the first Dark Lord, Shadow, a traitor to the first generation of guardians, who are protectors of the dragon realm their home. At first there were plenty to protect the realm but when Shadow betrayed them and started a war a number of them died. Then the war against Malefor some thousands years later left only four left. Fire, ice, earth, and lightning or electricity
And in return Cadance told Spyro about the empire's history and the inhabitants. From the time it was ruled by King Sombra, a unicorn that was powerful in the dark arts of magic, how he was defeated by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna and that the entire kingdom vanished after his defeat. It then reappeared a thousand years later and so did he and was defeated by the power of love that filled the crystal heart and that power blew him into the un-none but defeated for good none the less.
"Lets take her inside." Cadance pointed to Cynder. Spyro got Cynder on his back and he followed Cadance through the city, getting strange glances, parents hiding their young from sight. "Attention citizens of the crystal empire these dragons mean us no harm so please do not fear them and try to make friends with them....please."
Everypony looked nervous and remained where there were. As an old dragon once said, "Even the smallest amount of courage could turn the tides of war." or in this case everyone's perspective on dragons as a small light orange unicorn slipped from her mother's grip and ran up to the dragons.
"Hi I'm Lindsey whats your name?"
"Spyro."
"You're cool looking can I ride you?"
Spyro smiled at the young unicorns question before scooping her up and placed her on top of his head, since Cynder was on his back. "Want to see the castle?" he asked and the filly squealed in delight and Spyro took that as a yes and off they went. Inside the palace Cynder was on a massive bed that Cadance made using her magic. The bed was big enough for both dragons to sleep on, in fact the room itself was now bigger to accommodate its new hosts for the time being. Lindsey sat by Spyro while her mom sat beside Cadance, who was checking for any damage on the dragoness from her fall, still uneasy about the dragon beside the princess.
"S-so um Mr. Dragon...."
"Please Spyro."
"Sorry Spyro is she your special somepony?"
Spyro had to think about the question till he realized that she asked if Cynder was his mate. "Yes she is." Before anypony could say anything a creature with a moose head with an added horn, purple eyes, colorful body and large wings came through the door, Spyro reacting on instinct went into a fighting stance protecting his mate and the filly, but Cadance was more surprised.
"Thorax?! whats wrong?"
"You want to see that for yourself." Worry as clear in his voice and the princess and dragon followed the King of the changelings. Coming to the balcony they saw a sea of crimson red in the sky. "What are they?"

The legend of spyro: world's crossing
The Galla has arrived in Canterlot, capital of Equestria and ponies of all shapes, and color were going through the main gates but five very famous mares were waiting for the rest of their party. It was Princess Twilight Sparkle and the elements of harmony, and each of them had a special somepony to go to the Galla with. Some ponies would stop to shake their hooves or to talk for a minute or two before going in, and as the time passed Twilight was getting antsy about her sister-in-law. "What's taking them so long?"
"Twi relax they'll be here."
As if on cue ponies started gasping and mumbling about something and coming from the crowd was Cadance, Rarity, Flurry Heart, Spyro and Cynder. "Twilight!" Cadance shouted with happiness and walked over to her sister-in-law and did their little greeting dance. "Sunshine Sunshine Lady bugs awake clap your hooves and to a little shake." they said in unison and giggled hugging each other before Cadance said. "Twilight I would like you to meet Spyro and Cynder my special guests." As Twilight walked up her niece hugging her and she hugged back before introducing herself.
"Welcome to Canterlot I'm Princess Twilight but you can call me Twilight."
Spyro took her hoof and kissed it getting her to blush from the gesture. "Spyro and this is my mate Cynder. Cadance has told us much about you Miss Sparkle." Twilight couldn't keep the red down for her face, Spyro was more of a gentle drake then she thought. Cynder bowed lightly to the princess and she did the same to respect her.
"I must say Rarity did a marvelous job on your clothes and that you two are much more milled manner then we gave you credit for."
"Thanks...I think?"
"Hey love bird stop hogging the dragons so we can introduce ourselves." Rainbow Dash shouted teasing Twilight and getting everypony to laugh. Heading over to her friends they introduced themselves and their dates and went in but before going inside Cynder shuddered and Spyro knew to be on alert now, so did Cadance since Cynder told her about her connection to the dark elements and the dark powers. Coming to the front doors it was a little difficult to come through but eventually they all got in and met the ruler of Equestria Celestia herself. She was wearing a purple and pink dress with flames at the end of it and in front of her wings. The three alicorns hugged their mentor/aunty then she saw the dragons.
"You must be Spyro and Cynder, Cadance has told me about you two in her letter, welcome to Canterlot and your first Grand Galloping Galla."
"Thank you your highness." Spyro said, he and Cynder gave a quick bow and Celestia returned the gesture then she let them go the the ball room where the Galla was being held. A few ponies later an elderly black earth stallion, with amber eyes, milk white mane that was done up in a pony tail. He wore a dark brown trench coat and a grey suit underneath and beside him was a familiar blue pegasus, her light blue mane reaches her shoulders, it to was done up in a pony tail. She wore a light teal dress and a necklace that had a emerald in it. "Welcome to Canterlot I don't believe I've seen you two here before."
"This would be our first time. I came from Vanhoover to see my lovely daughter in ponyville and she wanted to come here, so this would our first Galla your highness. I'm Viktor and this is Christin." His voice was raspy but quiet giving him an imitating voice to go along with his appearance.
"Well then please enjoy."
"Thank you."
The two made their way into the ball room and there were many ponies even a draconequus, who was holding a pale yellow pegasus with a pink mane, and she was smiling. "Christin!" Looking behind her, she saw her teal breeder. "Markus!" the two embraced each other and Viktor looked at the teal earth pony. "Sweetie who is this?"
"Oh sorry. Dad this is Markus my coltfriend I told you about in my letters."
"Ah well it is a pleasure to finally meet the stallion who has been treating my baby very well."
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you sir, mind if I steal her for a while?"
"Sure just save a few dances for me will you."
"Sure thing sir."
The two lovers ran off and Viktor smiled, know he can explore the castle and find any weak points in the structure to bring it down in a heap of ruble. Walking up to one of the guards he asked, "Excuse me good sir but do you know where the washrooms are?" The guard nodded and lead him to the washrooms and once they got close to them and no-one around, Viktor snapped the guards neck and placed him under one of the sinks, as if he was sleeping. Walking out he vanished in the shadows.
"You ok hon?"
"A-a little drain."
"From what?"
"No clue." Cynder then leaned against her purple dragon before falling over again and Christin came back with the water.
"Here this should help."
"Thank you." Cynder drank the water and Spyro led her off the dance floor for a while and they start talking to ponies the were brave enough to come and talk to them. Meanwhile Viktor was still roaming around killing any guards that where in his way without so much as a scream, but as he roamed he found nothing on the inside that could cause sever damage to the castle. Then he remembered that it was built on the edge of the mountain, find the weak point there and it all goes down. Smiling to himself he headed back to the party and he saw Cynder was looking a little pale but was regaining color fast. "So she did her part, good now we wait." Viktor thought to himself and walked to the dragoness, and to his surprise she didn't shudder. "Are you ok ms?" he asked hoping his voice was enough to fool them. "Yeah she's just a little dizzy from spinning, but thanks for your concern." Viktor nodded and went to go find his daughter, so he can have one of those dances.
"Mind if I steal her back?" Viktor asked, startling the teal stallion.
"Oh sure."
Viktor took Christin and danced to the slow song that began to play."Well anything?" she whispered, he gave a slight nodded. "On the mountain side where the castle is made there is a weak spot and with enough power focused on that point, it will fall. And I see you took some of Cynder's love for yourself."
"Yes and it is stronger then I imagined and good job in finding a weak spot know we wait till they all gather here."
"Agreed." They continued dancing until the next song came on. "Alright folks this new song is called Fireball, so get ready to party." The DJ said and the song came on. The song shocked most ponies, but Pinkie Pie and her mate got on the dance floor, followed by Spyro and Cynder and they took to the air to dance to the fast song. The four of them were having a blast while the rest watched, and when the first fireball was spoken both dragons let loose a small flame, the DJ shouted "woo!" but kept the song going. Soon the dance floor was covered and every pony was having a blast, every time fireball was said the dragons let loose a small flame. When "We're taking it down" was said they slowly climbed down only to climb back up and when the song was over "Timber" came on and got the crowd going. AppleJack took to the song fast for it's beat, so did the dragons, swinging their partners round and round and just letting go. Cynder would say "I'll be the one you won't forget," teasing her partner with a sly smile getting Spyro to smile back.
As the night was coming to a close the DJ played on last song. "OK mares and colts here is the last song of the night, it's called guide you home." As the song begin to play a tear formed in Cynder's eye and she began to sing.

As the song came to an end the young dragons rested their foreheads on each others and tears rolled down their cheeks for that song means more to them then anything in this world. It reminded them of all the hardships they had to endure, the pains they suffered, the bonds they made and confessing their feelings for each other, opening their hearts to each other.
The young dragons stayed afloat for what seemed of an eternity, holding each other in each other's embrace neither of them moving but their wings. Ponies could only stare at them and they all felt sorry for them, though they don't know what they went through the sound of them singing that song was clear enough that they went through hell and no pony dared to break a fragile moment like this. As Christin watch them hold each other and let their emotions free, she didn't take advantage of it instead she turned to Markus and a flash shined in her eyes, a flash that could change her heart. The young dragons descended and once they landed, Cadance was the first to hug them, then Twilight, then everyone else joined in, all but Shadow.
Half hour past and everypony and dragon left the Galla and where on their way home, Cadance and her guests were heading home until Twilight came beside her and asked. "Cadance would it be alright if your guests stay at my castle for a while?" Cadance knew what her sister-in-law was up to and looked back at there dragons. "If its alright with them sure. Hey Spyro, Cynder would you two be comfortable to be with Twilight for a while?" The dragons looked at each other of a minute or two before nodding.
"Great please follow me." Twilight said heading in the direction of the train station that headed for Ponyville, failing to see the sign that Cadance was holding that read read, 'Prepare to be asked a lot of questions.' and they just chuckled at the sign before following the purple alicorn.

The calm before the storm
As every one gathered around, Cadence unrolled a layout of Canterlot's interior showing the gardens, main hall, throne room, medical wing, armory, training grounds, and so forth. "Ok before we execute the plans, the big question will be how do we enter the castle without getting spotted? It will be crawling with changelings, literally as the can crawl up walls like spiders." Cadence asked and Luna pointed to a spot.
"Here. Its where I train my night guards, it's just below the royal training ground where Shining still trains new recruits to Celestia's royal guards and it is a safe haven for them if something like this ever took place, so if we are lucky we may yet have some extra help. Commander Evening was training new bat ponies to join my guards, so she may yet help us. And yes we will be working with rookies, try not to show too much excitement Allan." Luna said and Allan chuckled slightly at her last comment. "Then from there we can clean out the training ground as a whole group then we split up. Allan, Spyro, Cynder seeing that you three know Shadow better then us you three will face him, the rest of us will clear the castle, no doubt you will be doing the same as the throne room will be heavily guarded. Once we are done inside we'll see what we can do outside and hope we can take them all out."
"Sounds like a plan and if it helps you outside someone can clear the dungeon, no doubt that is where Celestia and any guards that survived are being kept. Discord think you can heal them, fully?" Allan asked
"Hmm perhaps that is if he hasn't starved them then it makes things a little bit more difficult, you see I can heal them but starving them that's something else, I can revive lost muscle but the hunger and stomach aches not so much that will have to be them that can take care of such a thing, magic can't do everything." Discord said getting Allan to nodded.
"What else is there to worry about?" Spyro asked.
"Not much else, but if we clear the castle first before you three take on Shadow that will leave him vulnerable to any attacks, though if he is moving about the castle then we will have to take out those farthest from him silently. And there is the possibility of him calling for reinforcements from any of the three places he has captured, I'd say four but Allan cleared Apple Loosa. So be weary of that happening as well." Shining Armor said
"Will this be another night attack?" Twilight asked
"It would be best if it was, that or just before day break were the sun can affect their eye sight, and I'm sure Twilight can cast a spell were it won't affect ours as well." Cynder said
"Should we get the elements of harmony just encase things go south on us?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"It would be best to have a plan B to fall back to in case plan A fails but be careful Allan said that Shadow uses black magic and we don't know if his magic can affect the elements and turn them into their opposites." Zephyr said adding the notion of Shadow's ace in the hole.
"True indeed...Spyro how much practice have you been doing with aether since you unlocked its full potential in the mountains?" Allan asked.
"Not much its just a little hard to control from time to time, but if things really go south I will use it as a last resort if their elements don't work." Spyro said.
"Guess we have a plan, We arrive by teleporting into the Lunar Republic training ground from there we take back the main training ground from there Spyro, Cynder and Allan will clear out the main hall that leads to the throne room. While the rest of us silently take out those on the inside before making our way to the outside. Discord will free any prisoners and heal them best he can then they will join us in the fight outside. The girls will summon the elements of harmony before we depart and pray that all goes according to plan and free Equestria from this monster." Zephyr summed up their plan making sure nothing goes amiss. "When should we execute operation moon trance?"
"Tomorrow night gives us time to gather what we need, fix dents in armor, or have armor made by Discord if he doesn't mind, gives the girls time to get their elements from where ever they are and it doesn't give Shadow much time to recover from the blow we struck against him if he finds out before we attack." Allan said getting everyone to nodded in agreement.
"Then it is settled tomorrow night we take back what is ours and dethrone Shadow." Cadence said ending the meeting and everybody headed towards their rooms before lunch was served. The day went on without any problems, Twilight teleported herself and her friends to the edge of the Everfree forest to get the elements of harmony, Hector was working on Zephyr's armor, Spyro and Cynder were walking the streets of the crystal city, Allan was meditating in the open field to the left, everything seemed peacefully.
In the forest the six were talking and Twilight had a pouting face on, "What's wrong sugar cube?" Applejack asked.
"It's Cynder, she's been avoiding me ever since I sided with Celestia that day and hasn't talked to me since. Most of you sided with me but she spends time with all of you when we're not attacking or being attacked, why?"
"Will for starters we really didn't know what had happen that except she attacked you, Cadence and FlurryHeart for no reason so we sided with you except for AJ. Later we asked her why she attacked and said Shadow manipulated her into seeing her worst nightmares and she attacked them, though she didn't say who they were but we didn't press on and forgave her for the misunderstanding. Though she said it hurt her when you sided against her were as Cadence and FlurryHeart joined her as well as Princess Luna, while you saw what happened and knew who controlled her yet you went against her, that's probable why she's avoiding you." Rainbow Dash said.
Twilight was stunned that she over looked that and failed to see how it impacted Cynder's feelings. "How could I have missed that?" Twilight said slapping her face with her hoof.
"Darling if you plan on apologizing to her wait till this ordeal is over, she has to focus on winning so they can go home." Rarity said getting Twilight to nod.
They continued on their journey through the forest watching their surroundings for anything and everything. Though they made this trip plenty of times before, this time with what has been going on it just seemed more dangerous and Fluttershy would agree, staying behind Applejack and beside Rainbow Dash. Coming to the cliff that over looked the tree of harmony, teleporting them down, Twilight and others stared at the tree feeling somewhat at peace, summoning her magic and the trees center piece opened, revealing her old crown with the element of magic on it, then the other elements, honesty, laughter, generosity, kindness, and loyalty followed, forming the necklaces that once held them and placed themselves on their respected pony. Far to Canterlot within its dungeon Celestia smiled though her figure was thin as Shadow was starving them, she smiled, feeling the trees power and once more giving its elements back to their users, just as Shadow walked down to see her.
"Why are you smiling?"
"Your tyranny has come to an end the elements that you so desperately wanted have been found by my team. And its magic will render you to nothing."
"We'll see about that, and if you think they will come here to rescue you think again. They will fail for I out number them ten to one." Shadow growled and left the Princess.
Coming back to the main floor Shadow yelled. "Prepare for a battle the elements have been found, lieutenant contact the army in GriffinStone and tell them I want them here as soon as possible." The lieutenant saluted his Lord and head out. The rest scurried to get ready for the battle to come.
Over at the Crystal Empire the atmosphere was calm, Spyro and Cynder were talking to a few friends they made, fillies playing around them everything was peaceful as if the battle to come wasn't a thought to anybody, despite it being possible the biggest battle in equestrian history.
