It has been six millennia since the Great Technological Revolution. Ponykind now lives within a democratic utopia where labor is supplied by robots and energy by magic. However, with no need to defend against the monsters of Equestria or fight for one's next meal, ponies' minds have turned to a much greater calling; the worlds beyond.

Prudence rules the streets. Cutie marks are hidden, as everything else, though sexual taboos are nonexistent due to the complex magical reproductive method all ponies share. Decorum is key when speaking with others, with clothing only cast off during sparing moments at bars and in private.

Everything is changing now, though. Twilight Sparkle, lead researcher at the APBR Geodesic Accelerator, is faced with a problem so great she's forced to call on the First Grand Archmage, Celestia. Together, the two advance into oblivion with minds sharpened and magic ready. Yet are they prepared for what shall follow?
