Worries

Twilight was sitting outside reading a book while she was relaxing as other ponies passed by her as they carried on doing chores or meeting their friends. While she was reading her book which was relaxing her Pinkie Pie came up to her and Twilight looked at her. Twilight wondered what she needed. She hoped that Pinkie Pie could hang out with her.

Pinkie Pie was worrying about something that was on her mind and it was upsetting her a lot so she wanted an answer to her worries and she wanted Twilight to answer her as her worries were specifically about how Twilight felt about her so she could stop worrying about what Twilights feelings of her were. She hoped that Twilight didn't have a negative opinion about her as she was nervous to ask about Twilights thoughts of her. Pinkie Pie spoke to Twilight.

"Twilight can I ask you something that's been on my mind for a while. I've been thinking about this thought a lot and I need an answer to my question so that I don't have to have this thought anymore." She asked. Twilight nodded her head as she was fine with anypony asking her something as she was very smart and helpful and would help anypony who came to her. Pinkie Pie spoke.

"Do you love me Twilight? I want you to be honest with me here and answer my question." Pinkie Pie asked her friend. Twilight was not expecting this question as it threw her off. Twilight tried to think of a good response she could use to Pinkie Pie's question. She didn't know what the context of the question was as she needed that answered for her before she could continue. Twilight was unsure of what Pinkie Pie meant as there were numerous meanings for love.

"What do you mean as in love? Do you mean love as in romantic or love as in best friends? There are two different types of love and you must understand that before you ask this question. There is romantic love and platonic friendship." Twilight asked Pinkie Pie. She couldn't believe that Twilight didn't know what she meant as it was obviously friendship that she was talking about.

"Platonic. Do you care about me? Do you love me as a friend? Do you like to hang out with me? Would you care enough if I was sick? Would you help me if I was hurt? Would you comfort me if I was sad or depressed? I'm asking a sincere question that I need answered. I really need to know this Twilight!" Pinkie Pie said. Twilight couldn't believe that Pinkie Pie would doubt Twilights feelings for her.

"Of coarse I care about you Pinkie Pie! I'll always care about you. I will always have time to hang out with you. I would care if you were sick. I would get you treatment and everything. I would get you help if you got hurt. I would also help you out if you were depressed. Don't doubt my feelings for you. You seem to be questioning my feelings and that upsets me! I love you so much! Where did you hear that I didn't? What made you think this?" Twilight asked.

"I asked this because I feared that I annoy you when I talk to you or act excited. I fear that you are starting to want me to go away or shut my mouth most of the time. I feel like you don't want to hang out with me anymore." Pinkie Pie said. Twilight shook her head as what Pinkie Pie was saying about her wasn't true.

"No! Of coarse not! I do not get annoyed at you Pinkie Pie! I'm sorry if I do act tired when your speaking to me but it's not because of you. If your doubting me because of how I acted during when I discovered Pinkie sense then don't because I was just frustrated at myself for not figuring out how you could do such things but I wasn't annoyed at you! Do you understand Pinkie Pie?" Twilight asked her.

"Yes I do understand. I'm sorry for worrying about something that wasn't true. I should have never doubted your friendship with me. I was just making sure!" Pinkie Pie said. Twilight smiled and hugged Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie hugged back. They stayed there as they hugged eachother. Pinkie Pie's worries fade away as she realized that she had no reason to worry about her friend not liking her as her friend loved her.

"Don't ever put yourself down Pinkie Pie. You are a great friend and you shouldn't think about yourself in a bad way. I do not think about you in a bad way! I'll never treat you badly. I'll never make fun of you and I'll protect you from bullying. Do you understand sweetheart?" Twilight asked her friend. She hoped that this convinced Pinkie Pie as she didn't want Pinkie Pie to worry about something that was false. Pinkie felt relieved as Twilight was honest with a lot of ponies and she was very nice.

"Yes I do. Thanks Twilight." Pinkie Pie said. Pinkie Pie and Twilight let go of eachother. Pinkie Pie felt a lot better once Twilight told her that. She knew that it was ridiculous to worry about Twilight hating her when it wasn't true as Twilight cared about her.

They soon switched to lighter topics as they walked to Sugarcube Corner to get some treats for themselves. Soon they got their treats and Pinkie Pie stayed at Sugarcube Corner while Twilight went to her place as she was glad that she could assure Pinkie Pie that she didn't get annoyed at her.
