Chapters "I Just Had a Terrible Dream"
In the town of Charliehorseton, there is an pink earth stallion with a tan mane and green eyes named Swineson. Swineson is the best pig caretaker you will never hear of. He will care for them all; Germare Landraces, Equestrian Saddlebacks, large whites, big blacks, middle whites, he knows how to tend to them all. Some ponies would say that he eats so much that he looks like a pig, but he takes no mind to such comments. He is a proud pig veterinarian, and he loves his work. He loves pigs so much, he even does role play with his wife where they put on fake pig noses and do oinking sounds during some before-bed fun. Hell, the stallion dreams of pigs every night. And he's even dreaming about them right now!
Right now, Swineson's dreaming that he's doing surgery on yet another pig to save it's life. He's had this dream a great many times. The pig is brought into the surgery room in critical condition, it needs a lot done, and there's only 10 minutes to do it all. He forgets the dream every time, but he still manages to save it every time. On this particular night, he's already five minutes in and things are going like normal. However, this pig in particular was brought in for different reasons than usual. Usually the pig would just need a few corrections here and there, but this one is bleeding out quickly. Swineson took care of all the external cuts, but it's bleeding internally. But if anyone can save that pig, it's Swineson... But it's currently going terribly.
"I-I can't explain it Shepherd!" Swineson says frantically, "His internal injuries are like nothing that I've ever seen! I know you take good care of your pigs, and this one is a beautiful pot belly, but it's like this one has gone through many years of abuse!"
"Well, I can at least appreciate how hard you're trying," Shepherd says, his voice filled with worry, "But this is my Sylvester! He's the best pig of them all!"
"Don't worry Shepherd, I'll try my damnedest to save that pig!" Swineson says with more confidence, "Nurse, hand me a scalpel... Nurse?... Nurse!"
"Here you go, sir." The nurse says, handing Swineson a rusty scalpel.
"Thank you." Swineson Is about to make a cut with the rusty scalpel, but then he spots the rust on the blade, "Dammit Phyllis, this is not the time for jokes!" Swineson looks to the nurse to find that she's wearing a dirty brown fedora, "Why are you wearing that filthy thing in the clean surgery room!?"
"If I may, sir,” The nurse says, "I think I know exactly what this pig needs."
"Well, you are a surgery student..." Swineson says, thinking, "I guess I'll let you have a go at it. Just remember that this is a pig, not a pony."
With that, the nurse walks closer to the pig, and looks into the closed eyes of the pig.
"Don't worry sir, I won't let you down!" The nurse says in a voice filled with determination, "Hey there little fella. Don't worry, I'll take terrible care if you." The nurse raises her front-right hoof to reveal the clean scalpel that she was supposed to give Swineson, "You little bitch!"
"WHAT BY CELESTIA!?" Swineson yells out while the nurse dives the scalpel into the pig's eyes, causing it to bleed everywhere, "WHAT IN THE NAME OF ALL THINGS MAGIC IS WRONG WITH YOU, PHYLLIS!?"
The nurse continues to stab the pig while Shephard grabs Swineson and shakes him violently.
"What Have You Done To My Pig!?" Shepherd yells out in anger, "What Have You Done To My Sylvester!?"
Shepherd pushes Swineson into a void of blackness... Swineson wakes up outside his house.
"Must've been sleep walking again." Swineson said to himself. He looks over to his two story house, and spots his wife through the top window. She's a gorgeous crystal unicorn, tall and somewhat lanky, but her face looks as beautiful as the faces of the twin sisters. Her coat shines like a gem, and when she's happy, like she is now, she becomes completely transparent. It's something to do with the cells of crystal ponies being similar to the cells of a cuddle fish, but he didn't care. All Swineson knows is his that wife is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. Swineson looks down to the steps of his older house and finds a hole that goes underground with a bipedal creature with a hat walking into the hole. Swineson enters the hole and spots the bipedal creature inside a tunnel. The bipedal creature disappears into the blackness at the end of the tunnel, and Swineson walks through the tunnel. When he gets to the other side, he finds himself inside a boiler room with red lighting.
"I didn't know that some boiler rooms has red lighting." Swineson told himself, thinking about the oddness of the room, "And I didn't know that there's an underground boiler room somewhere on my property." He looks to the other side of the boiler room to find the entrance of another tunnel, with the bipedal creature walking through... And he's holding a torch.
Swineson Runs over to the tunnel and tries to catch up with the bipedal creature.
"Um, excuse me, sir?" Swineson says as he gets closer. He sees that the bipedal is wearing dark pants and a red sweater with green stripes. He also begins to here the sounds of pigs where the bipedal creature stands, "Why did you build a tunnel that goes under my house?"
"You wanna learn a history lesson?" The bipedal asks, his voice sounding very demented. Almost evil.
"Uh... Sure?" Swineson says, confused by the bipedal.
"Did you know that a medieval tactic to destroying buildings was to build tunnels under them and fill them with pigs?" The bipedal says.
"N-no, I didn't quite know that, I guess." Swineson says, feeling uncomfortable, "B-but how does that destroy a building?"
"It would destroy a building because they would light the pigs on fire and trap them so they couldn't escape." The bipedal says, holding the torch up, "The heat from the burning fat weakened the dirt underneath the structure, causing it to fall..." the bipedal tosses the torch, and the sound of pigs squealing in pain is heard, "So I Say Light Those Bitches Up!! HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa-"
Swineson quickly runs out of the tunnel to find that it leads to directly outside his house where he woke up, only he didn’t have to run through a boiler room. There's no more hole near the front steps as he looks back, and he spots the ground become weak with flames poking out. The house crumbles in some areas, and begins to burn at others. Swineson runs to his house, only for a geyser a flame to erupt in front of him. The house begins to collapse with Swineson'a wife still sleeping inside. She appears to fall out of view, and the whole house crumbles to a burning pile... Swineson is speechless at what has happened in front of him, and begins to cry...
Swineson wakes up in his bed next to his gorgeous wife. He's in a cold sweat from what he just experienced. He puts a hoof on his wife and tries to wake her.
"Sweetie, wake up!" Swineson says with urgency, "I just had a terrible dream!"
"You're tellin' me, bitch!" Swineson's wife says as she flips over to reveal that she's the bipedal creature. Now that it's in better lighting, he can see that it appears to have flesh completely scared by flames and that it has a clawed glove on it's right hand.
"LUNA, HEEEEELP!!!" Swineson cries out in fear.
"We're Sorry, Luna's Not Available Right Now!" The bipedal mocks, "Please Leave A Message After The 'Bitch'! BITCH!!!"
The bipedal stabs Swineson in the gut with its claws, and slowly brings the claws up. Swineson begins to cough up blood while this is happening.
"W-what are you?" Swineson says, taking his last breath.
"I'm the Dream Master!" The bipedal says before laughing it's head off as it impales Swineson with its arm...
Swineson's wife is screaming in horror as her husband's underside is being split open in front of her, blood squirting everywhere.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! SOMEPONY HELP ME!!!" Swineson's wife screams as her husband gains a new hole that she can see through.
Help comes, but it's twenty minutes too late. Both Swineson and his wife have been horribly mutilated in thier bed. They check the whole house for any form of evidence to suggest that something did those horrible things to the married couple, but everything was in its place...
They have no proof that anything broke in and killed the couple, or any proof that they killed each other. It's like something that wasn't there mutilated the both of them... but that wouldn't make sense....
Right?

The Timber Wolves of Whitetail Woods
"Celestia, our children are scared!" A mare declares in what's supposed to be a calm tone, but really is filled with hidden fear, "We know that the Timber Wolves were a rumor, but some of our children are dead from Timber Wolf attacks!"
"Yes, I know." Celestia says, "But I'm telling you that I had the Royal Guard, as well as Wonderbolt specialists, scan the Whitetail Woods for Timber Wolves. Every search party I send comes up with nothing."
"Then What Explains My Child's Scar, And The Stick He Woke Up With!?" The mare asks frantically, bursting into tears, "He Lost An Eye Because Of Them!!"
The matter of the Timber Wolves was a matter that was thought to be solved some time ago, almost an entire age has passed since the topic of those creatures has come up. However, Timber Wolves aren't natural to Whitetail Woods. In fact, the rumor from one hundred years ago and the rumor from recently were both started by ponies trying to spook the region because they thought it was funny. But now, children are apparently dying because of apparent Timber Wolf attacks. Celestia has seen and read the reports; fillies being violated, colts being chased and clawed, tough teenage stallions waking up crying, but one report didn't make sense. A teenage mare that had a pet Timber Dog, woke up with a brown hat, and spoke of being chased in an old boiler room. It wasn't anything like the other reports, the others described running through a forest...
"PRINCESS, PLEASE!!!" The scared mother says, bringing Celestia back to now, "HELP OUR CHILDREN!!!"
Celestia shakes her head and puts a hoof on her forehead. She lets off a sigh and looks into the mother's eyes.
"Listen, I understand your concern." Celestia says in all honesty, "If it will make you feel better, I will see if I can get my sister to spend some time in your town. She will watch over all of the children throughout the night to see that they wake up safe. How would that make you feel?"
The mare hugs Celestia tightly while leaking tears of joy.
"Thank you, Princess!" The mare says happily, "Thank you so much! I just hope that this nightmare can come to an end!"
With that, the mare lets go of Celestia and walks out of her throne room. Soon after, Luna walks in with her head down.
"Sister, you are just the pony I needed to see-"
"I know, dear sister." Luna says in a rather plain, almost low tone, "I have finished reading the reports. The Wonderbolts' survey, the Royal Guard's survey, and the interviews of the surviving children..."
"We haven't had reports like those since... Well, I can't even remember. I don't think anything like this has happened to Equestria before."
"It's almost like something other than me has entered their dreams."
"But I thought that you were the only pony in Equestria with the ability to walk between dreams?"
"I never said that it was the reason. I am just making an observation. I was even going to ask if I could go over to the Whitetail Woods so I could investigate the matter myself. But if I heard correctly, you would like me to go over there for the same purpose."
"Yes Lulu... I worry that we may need Twilight and her friends. I will write to my old student to ask if anything has come up on her castle's map and if she may assist you. But I worry that she may get hurt."
"Worry not sister, I will see to it that this threat is taken care of tonight."
"Please do... This situation already has death involved, and I would hate to see anymore than what has already happened. One death I consider to be unacceptable, but... Many... We can't allow the deaths of any of our subjects."
"Agreed." Luna says as she expands her wings, “In fact, I shall leave for the Whitetail Woods at once.”
“Tread carefully, dear sister,” Celestia warns, “I’m not sure what I’ll do without you.”
“You speak as if you will lose me,” Luna states as she approaches a nearby window, “If you’ll remember, it was me who nearly defeated you in combat. Before I became she who shan’t be named.”
With that said, Luna takes flight and heads for the Whitetail Woods.
“Oh Lulu, when will you accept you past,” Celestia says to herself out loud, “I fear that you’re old demons will swallow you whole one of these days...”
The time it took to get to the Whitetail Woods by flight was only around three hours, and a Princess’s appearance was expected to be a warm one...
But her arrival was bittersweet.
Everypony looked at her with a fearful look as if she was responsible for the recent horrors. Some even asked if she killed their children, while others ask why she would let such an atrocity happen. Eventually, the residents of the towns
Some parents of the surviving children let her see the rooms where all the attacks happened. All of the rooms belonging to those children were trashed. The sheets ripped and torn. The bookshelves are usually broken with the books shredded. The art hung on the walls has also been left utterly destroyed.
As for the parents who’s children have been killed, they all blame Luna for letting them die. Except for a single mother named Soft Lullaby, a mature earth pony mare with a baby blue coat and a soft green mane. She didn’t believe that Luna would kill her children, and she welcomed Luna with open arms.
“Thank you for inviting me over,” Luna says as she walks into the cabin belonging to the single mom, “After the welcome that I received upon my arrival, I didn’t think that anypony would be so kind.”
“Oh, it’s nothing really,” Soft Lullaby says a little cheerfully as she closes the door behind Luna, “You are a princess. You would never do anything to hurt anypony, so you aren’t responsible for my little Greenie’s death.”
“You seem to feel joy at a time of great loss,” Luna points out, “Why is this?”
“Oh, believe me,” Soft Lullaby starts to shed a tear, “I miss my Green Trail, your majesty. He would always have stories about the trails he hiked and all the things he found along the way... Can I tell you about what was happening before there were all the deaths and injuries?”
“I have already read all the interviews, and I remember reading your interview.”
“Yes, but I my son told me everything, and I think his perspective might help out.
Two weeks ago, there was a colt that decided to walk right into the center of the woods. Now, this is actually a regularly done activity as the Whitetail Woods aren’t dangerous by any means. In fact, the towns surrounding the forest seasonally maintain it. But when the colt came back, he was shivering and tired. The little colt’s father asked him if he was alright, but the colt said that he can’t sleep anymore or else something would kill him. This colt had a fear of Timber Wolves and would always have panic attacks about the things. Then during one of the panic attacks, he screamed out a name... I never heard what that name was though, but all the children that colt’s school started having nightmares and panic attacks around that time, and they were all about the same thing.”
Somehow the name was starting to be heard over at other schools and all the children there were all having panic attacks and started not wanting to sleep.”
Soft Lullaby’s warm and happy appearance changes to a very grim one as she looks to the floor. She looks up to Luna with eyes that are searching for some form of hope but are struggling to find anything.
“Did any of those interviews include a name,” Soft Lullaby asks, “I’d like to know the name of whatever’s doing all this. And know for a fact that it’s not Timber Wolves, those come from the Everfree and they couldn’t possibly be responsible for doing what they did to my son.”
“Thus far, we have no leads on what could possibly be doing this,” Luna admits, “And if my sister and I are honest, we have never seen anything like this. At least, not...” A harsh memory from Luna’s past comes back for a haunting moment, “Not since my past corruption.”
Memories shoot through Luna’s mind for only a second, but they feel like longer than that to Luna. They are all memories of Nightmare Moon eating children. She’s consumed many children when she was Nightmare Moon, and she ate them in their dreams by pulling them into a realm that’s in between reality and dreams. If she ate the children in that realm, then they were eaten in reality. However, Nightmare Moon could only accomplish this once a year on the thirty-first of October so at least everypony was safe for all the other days of the year. Eventually, the Ponies became accustomed to calling the thirty-first of October Nightmare Night to remind themselves of the threat that Nightmare Moon possessed at the time. But eventually, Celestia put a total end to Nightmare Moon’s feeding night somehow and made every day of the year safe from Nightmare Moon.
These memories give Luna an idea to how these children are being attacked, especially when she saw the conditions of all the rooms she saw, but she’s only seen rooms that belong to survivors. She needs to see a room where a child was found killed. Only then can Luna see if her theory is possible.
“I would like to see your son’s room now,” Luna says, ready to see the damage. Soft Lullaby leads Luna to Green Trail’s room, and what the Princess of The Night sees horrifies her. The worst Nightmare Moon has done was leave behind pieces of a partially eaten child. But this room has blood and claw marks everywhere. There’s even a sentence scratched into a wall. The sentence reads:
“Dear sister...”
“I don’t think Timber Wolves do that,” Soft Lullaby says in an oddly calm manner, “And that scratching on the wall is wrong. I might have raised Green Trail on my own, but I write letters to the stallion who helped me bear him. His father is proud of him, and even planned on actually seeing him next month. I should’ve told him.”
“H-how are you so calm about this,” Luna asks, finding disgust in the sight before her.
“Oh, I’ve always been that way,” Soft Lullaby answers, “Don’t get me wrong, I’m a wreck right now. I lost my son just last night, and the Local Guard only wrote me down as another mother who lost her child. Names are added to the list every morning. Whatever is doing this Princess, I pray that you stop it. It’s a horrible thing that we’re facing here in Charliehorseton. It’s gotten so bad now that we’ve found adult victims now. Our local pig veterinarian was found dead this morning with a hole in his chest, and his wife was... Found violently violated.”
“Then I know what I must do. I must take my personal investigation to your town’s dreams. Whatever this thing is, I will cleanse it from the dreams of my subjects. It cannot be allowed to continue.”
“I’ll help you,” Soft Lullaby says, “It hurts to know that this thing is capable of committing all that it has done, and it’s taken so many children away from their parents.”
“You will not sacrifice your life for me,” Luna says in a slightly commanding voice, “Death is unacceptable to my sister and I, and too many have died already...”
A few hours have passed, and it’s dark out. Princess Luna is walking around Charliehorseton, the population of the town now mostly in their homes to sleep. But Luna is waiting for a bad dream to arrive so she may investigate it and see if the “Timber Wolf” will be in one. But so far, no ponies have been having bad dreams let alone nightmares. Still, Luna wanders the town in the hopes that something will happen.
A nearby bat pony wearing a down vest notices the princess of the night and decides to approach her.
“Goodnight, princess,” the bat pony says with a smile.
“Goodnight, oh citizen,” Luna says, looking over to the bat pony, “I didn’t think that I would find your race here.”
“Oh, actually I’m the only bat pony here,” the bat pony says, “I moved here because my boyfriend lives here. He’s such a sweetheart, I don’t know what I’d do without him!”
“What is your name, if I may ask?”
“Chilly Down! I make down jackets and vests for a living. It gets cold over here year round, so I make a lot. But I’m a horrible salesstallion. My jackets basically sell themselves. You’re here because of the nightmares, aren’t you.”
“Indeed. But no pony’s been having even a bad dream tonight.”
“Well, I don’t worry much about sleep. You know us bat ponies, we can sleep at anytime without issues. I barely even sleep anyway, so those Timber Wolves won’t be getting me any time soon!”
“Maybe you’re a lucky one,” Luna says, finally feeling something, “Sorry to interrupt, but I must go. I believe I have found what I’m lookin for.”
“Good luck, princess!” The bat pony wishes as Luna turns into fading white light. Soon, Luna finds herself in the Whitetail Woods with the sound of a screaming child in the not-so-far distance. Luna makes her way over to the screaming child, but then the screaming stops.
Luna begins to run for where she thinks the screaming came from, fearing the worst until she found herself running through a cemetery. She makes a hard stop using her wings as air brakes, and looks around. All the headstones are the same shape, but the names on the headstones horrify Luna. The names are of all the dead that were in the reports. Fillies, colts, teenaged mares and stallions. Luna found herself backing up and bumping into a headstone with two names on it. The names are Green Trail and Soft Lullaby.
“W-what!?” Luna yells out in confusion and sadness, “N-no, this cannot be!”
“You’re not supposed to be here,” Green Trail and Soft Lullaby say, digging themselves out of their graves.
“He’ll see you when he’s done more,” three white fillies with white manes and white dresses say in sync, “And this isn’t good enough yet.”
“You should really listen to them, Lulu,” a demented voice says, “But I’ll tell ya what! Catch!”
A headstone falls from nowhere and Luna catches it with her magic. The headstone has a name on it, as well as blood.
“W-what’s this?” Luna asks.
“The bitch I just killed,” The demented voice says, “Her name’s Cherry Pop. And I thought I’d pop her cherry!” Suddenly, the dark cherry body of a teenage mare falls in front of Luna, with the lower regions completely clawed out, “HAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! ”
Luna is thrown out the hole she tore open by a bipedal figure covered in too much darkness to be identified. All Luna can gather is that the figure sure as hell isn’t a Timber Wolf. But whatever it is, it’s waving at her with long claws on one limb.
“Sweet dreams, asshole!” The creature says before closing the tear. Luna finds herself getting up in front of a shaking Chilly Down.
“P-p-princess,” The bat pony says, quivering with fear, “I-I don’t want to be rude, but d-did that thing just kick your ass?”
“... I’m afraid so.”

Beauty and The Blank Flank (edit)
On a dock somewhere in the Bostallion Harbor, there is a young filly and a young colt. They're both looking up at the stars and talking about how they'll have a home out in some country town like Ponyville and live off the fat of the land. And have a cage for rabbits.
Both the filly and the colt are eleven years of age, the filly is a unicorn with an almost glittery pearl white coat, a shining blonde mane, and beautiful golden eyes. Her name is Krása, and some would say that she'll grow up to be a gorgeous mare. Krása is really something, but the colt isn't. The colt's name is Chimney Smoke, and he's an earth pony with a grease black mane, a dirty brown coat, and smokey grey eyes. Most think that Chimney Smoke won't make it far, but Krása disagrees. Krása believes that Chimney Smoke will become somepony very successful in life, even though he hasn't even found his cutie mark yet. Chimney Smoke has grown to appreciate Krása's kindness and how much time they spend together.
The dock remains ever so silent, and Chimney Smoke realizes that it's getting pretty late as he gets up and looks around.
"I think we should start going home," Chimney Smoke says, "Turn are gonna think that we're doing things that we shouldn't be if we stay too long."
"Such as," Krása asks, gains mischievous smile.
"You know, that adult stuff that our parents told us about," Chimney Smoke reminds.
"So..." Krása says as she gets up and close to Chimney Smoke, "Stuff like this," Krása kisses Chimney Smoke on his cheek, causing the young to blush profusely. The colt nervously brings his head to the filly's cheek, but he chickens out.
"Don't worry Smoke, I want this," Krása says, stripping the young colt of all his fears. Chimney Smoke wraps his forelegs around Krása's neck and pulls her close.
"I don't ever want to lose you," Chimney Smoke says, holding Krása tightly...
And as the two held each other, both parents of the children walk over with shame on their faces.
"Krása, we told you that you can go for somepony better than that worthless blank flank," Krása's parents say, ashamed of their daughter.
"Chimney Smoke," Smoke's parents yell, "We don't need those dumb rich fuckers in our lives! They've never worked a solid day!"
"Excuse me!?" Krása's mom cries out in shock, "I'll have you know that I've worked day and night to get as far as we've gone!"
"Oh, yeah," Smoke's dad spits, "Working for PNN and whoring for a new story every other day!"
"And what do you do for a living," Krása's dad asks mockingly.
"Mom! Dad! Stop," Krása pleads. Chimney Smoke only curls up into a ball next to Krása.
heh heh heh heh heh heh
"I'm a construction worker," Smoke's dad yells, "I know hard work!"
"And I run a five-star restaurant," Krása's dad yells, "I've had rough days too!"
"Why, too much spice in the soup," A rough voice asks from the shadow of a docked ship. A figure with burnt flesh in a red and green striped sweater and a brown fedora walks out from the shadow. The figure walks on its hind legs and has nasty looking claws on its right arm.
"Are these four troubling you," The hideous creature asks, "Don't worry... I'll just take care of the problems."
The creature raises its claws and stabs Krása's mother in the back of the head with the other parents also seeming to be affected like they've been too. As the bodies drop, they all show four distinct stab wounds in the backs of their heads.
Krása gasps in horror at what she just witnessed while the creature disappears back into the shadow of the docked ship.
Heh heh heh heh heh heh
"Smoke, we need to go," Krása says, fear flowing through her being, "Something just killed our parents and I think it wants us next!"
Smoke shakily gets out of his ball and onto his hooves before the two start running to the end of the dock. The two continue to run, but the dock seems endless. Smoke looks behind himself and discovers that the harbor has disappeared. He stops, with Krása also stopping and looking at the now missing harbor.
"W-what happened to the harbor," Smoke asks, fearing that the two are stuck.
Krása looks behind herself to see that the harbor is back, but there is a fenced-off path that leads to an old boiler building that wasn't there before.
"I don't think we can go any other way," Krása says.
"I-I'm not going there," Smoke says, "I say that we-" The dock ends again, only the creature from before is standing there, "O-o-or not."
Krása and Chimney Smoke begin to walk to the old boiler building, following the chainlink fenced path leading to it. Smoke looks over to the left as he walks and spots three bone white fillies in white dresses playing jump rope. And they're singing a strange tune that's quietly echoed through the harbor:
"One, Two
Freddy's Comin' For You
Three, Four
Better Lock Your Door
Five, Six
Grab Your Crucifix
Seven, Eight
Gonna Stay Up Late
Nine, Ten
Never Sleep Again"
"Hey Smoke," Krása says, "Look at those three fillies."
"What are they chanting," Smoke asks.
"I don't know, but it's creeping me out."
"I-I think this happened to the kids in Charliehorseton."
"Wait, I thought that was only happening in the Whitetail Woods? Timberwolves can't possibly be in Bostallion; we live in a city, not a forest."
W-what if what killed all those children wasn't Timberwolves? M-maybe this is Discord's chaos magic?"
"If it is Discord, then who are those three chanting about," Krása asks. But as she asks, the white fillies disappear and become replaced by a single white filly that is looking right at Krása and Chimney Smoke.
"His name is Freddy Krueger," The white filly says, "And he wants to play with you. He wants to play with everyone in Equestria."
A set of metal claws come out of the ground and disembowel the white filly.
Heh Heh Heh Heh Heh Heh
Krása and Chimney Smoke look back the way they came, only to find the path to be closed in. There's no way back now. The filly and the colt can only move forward through the path.
The two proceed through the path until they see a metal door that appears to be a back-entrance. The kind of door a janitor or maintenance pony would use. Smoke looks behind himself to see the path behind him. The time, the path is gone, along with the building and warehouses that were there less than a second ago. Smoke looks over to Krása with scared eyes, Krása having both fear and understanding in her own eyes.
Together, the two enter the boiler building, completing the path made for them to follow. Inside, the building is filled with red light, metal pathways, and pipes along with a humid heat that made it uncomfortable in there. Krása and Smoke make their way deeper into the boiler building with escape looking look like it will never happen. The air holds its own deep hopelessness that sits heavier that the heat and humidity, only worsening the dreadful appeal of the place. A place that looks like the last thing you see before a horrific end.
"Aw, aren't you two cute together," The voice of a demented soul echoes.
"What do you want with us," Krása asks, bravery and determination in her voice.
"I want a little fun," The voice echoes, "And you both looked like the perfect playmates..."
Chimney Smoke shakes as he backs into a locker behind him, the locker opening with claws slashing Smoke's flank.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" Smoke cries before proceeding to shed tears over the pain.
"What Was That For, You Monster," Krása yells out, angered by the attack on her best friend.
"I thought he could use a cutie mark," The voice echoes, "Now he's more useful. His special talent is to feel pain!"
Suddenly, Smoke's other flank receives the same slash marks on his unslashed flank, only feeling more pain.
HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH
As the chuckling echoes through the boiler building, the sweater-wearing creature from before steps out of the locker, a smile upon his burnt face.
"You are both my children now," The burnt fleshed creature says, his clawed hand resting against an overhead pipe filled with hot steam, "You may look nothing like me, but I can fix that."
The creature gashes the pipe, causing hot steam to engulf Krása. The filly jumps out in time to not get injured, but the steam still managed to leave a stinging pain across her skin. The monster jumps through the hot steam and slashes at Krása, the filly narrowly dodging the attack. The creature then stabs the ground below him, causing giant claws to emerge under Krása and just miss her. The little filly looks up at the burnt monster with fear filled eyes.
"Welcome to my world, bitch," The monster says, "This playdate only gets better from here."
"Wh-who are you," Krása asks, trembling like a young puppy.
The monster hangs his head, but only low enough so that the filly could still see his evil smile. He lifts his clawed hand and uses a single claw to etch a name into the metal wall next to him. The name is "Freddy Krueger". The spelling of the name morphs to "The Springwood Slasher", then to "The Dream Master", and then the spelling ends on "Your Last Nightmare"...
If the filly wasn't shaking before, she is now shaking almost violently with her scent reeking of fear.
"I-I-If you w-want t-to kill a-anypony, k-kill me a-and leave Chimney Smoke alone," Krása pleads.
"You two keep getting cuter and cuter," Freddy points out, "Too bad your friend is feeling a little... Flat right now."
The gashed pipe begins to shake and come loose over Chimney Smoke, the colt looking up and becoming too scared to move. Smoke then looks over at Krása.
"I love you," Chimney Smoke says before being crushed by a steel pipe.
The sight before Krása leaves her the most touched and horrified she has ever been. There was always a mutual love between Krása and Chimney Smoke, anypony could figure that out. But neither of the two have ever said it directly, they always implied their love. And Chimney Smoke just admitted his love for Krása as he died I front of her.
Krása runs to the remains of her dead love to feel sorrow for her loss as the monster moves closer to her.
"Please, stop this!" Krása begs with tears in her eyes, "I don't want to play whatever this is!"
"Oh, so you're not enjoying our little playdate?” The burnt, sweater-wearing creature says as he stands over the filly, "Too bad I make the rules around here. But don't worry," The monster picks the filly up by Her mane, "I'm feeling a little generous tonight."
“Your generosity ends here, demon!” A midnight blue cloud announces, leaving out of a cracked pipe.
“Aw, the pony princess has come to save the day.” The demon says, tossing Krása at the cloud, “I’ll let you have this one, Moonbitch. Just remember that I killed her boyfriend already. Oh!” The monster swishes a claw in Krása’s direction, only for nothing to happen, “Damn... Well, anyway. Time to wake up, my sweet princesses.”
With that said, the dream demon snaps his fingers.
Krása opens her eyes to a horrifying sight. The crushed dead body of the young colt who admitted his love to his best friend is directly next to her. Krása slowly stands up and looks down at the horror in front of her, the cloud from the dream directly behind her.
The cloud collects itself to reveal Princess Luna, who is just as horrified at the sight of Chimney Smoke as Krása is. The Princess steps closer to the body to examine it, shocked at its condition.
“I-I thought y-you couldn’t d-die in your dreams?” Krása asks, as confused as she is terrified.
“That wasn’t a dream.” Luna states, “That was a place between The Dream Realm and Reality. Such a place can only be made by something with abilities like my own. But that would be impossible, as our world is blocked off to others at Tartarus…”
Luna then remembers when it was reported that Cerberus left Tartarus, and some of the dangerous monsters imprisoned were freed because of his absence. However, his lack of presence wouldn't explain how otherworldly things were able to enter Equestria.
Unless if one of the monsters within Tartarus was being haunted by whatever this thing is. Luna thought to herself.
You’re gettin’ warm.
What!? Luna yelled in her own head, looking out in front of herself to see the demon standing there.
“See ya later, Moonbitch.” The monster says before burning away. Luna only stands there with an expressionless face, Krása looking up at her princess with concern and worry.
“P-princess, w-what did you see?” Krása asks with audible fear in her voice.
“I saw it.” Luna answers blankly, “And it needs to be stopped. Did it tell you its name?”
“It did. Its name is-“ Krása is interrupted by the clawed glove of the demon reaching out and pulling the young filly into the ground below her.
No spoilers, my little pony.
Luna finds herself standing on a dock in Bostallion Harbor next to the dead bodies of two young children. They are the bodies of Chimney Smoke and Krása, only they're both covered by claw marks and have chunks of their bodies missing. Luna’s mouth hangs open at the sight in front of her and begins to back away as a sailor on a ship tied to the dock flashes a flashlight down on Luna.
“Your majesty, what are you doing!?” The sailor yells out. Another sailor rushes up to see the same sight.
“I told you I wasn't a conspiracy theorist! Those recent deaths are Luna’s fault!” The other sailor proclaims, “Look! She still eats fillies and colts when she thinks we're not looking!”
Luna looks up to the sailors, her mouth still hanging open.
“By Celestia, you're right! Look, she still has fangs!”
“She still must be Nightmare Moon! We have to let the Royal Guard know!”
Luna only sheds a single tear before she blows away as a cloud of vapor.
