The story follows two human kids named Toby Morrison and Charla Lawrence who are mysteriously transported to Equestria where they gains incredible magical powers and meets a group of talking ponies called the Mane Six. Now Toby and Charla must protect Equestria from all sorts of monsters, crazy bad guys and a mysterious hunter who is targeting them (mostly Toby).
