The Fall of Cloud

  I reared my head toward the barbed wire wall in front of me "alright five" came BlueMint's voice from a speaker "four, three, two, one" a loud buzzer went off and the razor wire started to drift side to side. I new I had to move but I was dead in my tracks "the buzzer is your indication to move ya know?" Came BlueMints voice out of a speaker I was jolted with fear and I'm supposed to be this big hot shot super soldier, no some sort of assassin, but I didn't do anything how could I be a total badass when I look fear in the face and don't do anything? "I ask too many questions that my own mind can't answer " I didn't realize that I had spoke, I slowly rose up into the air. I started to fly through dodging the first two walls of barbed wire the next wall was....painful I slammed into it at nearly full speed my feathers flew off as I went clean through the wall. I hated everything, at that very moment I was cut up, I failed my test, I was in pain, and I was gonna get shot by turrets if I didn't pay attention to were I was going. Which is just what happened I was soaring through the air and I felt a sharp stinging in my left back leg. "Fuck" I yelled as I started falling out of the air, I passed out and woke up with pains going throughout all of my body. My back had hurt the worst I slowly looked at my body a metal spike next to my chest and one clean through my back leg I was bleeding out. I tried to stand but my leg wouldn't let me "BLUEMINT!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs "I'm right behind ya" he said as I turned around "well can you help me out of this?" I asked "not till ya tell me how you pulled off that witchcraft." I looked at him confused "what?" I asked as NighShade burst through the door "are you okay I came as quick as I could" she was panting I assume she ran "uhh yeah I'm fine, what happened to me?" I asked staring at NighShade as she started to weep "well" BlueMint started "ya burst through that wall covered in barbed wire then the turret got ya a couple times in the leg, course there's no bullets in your leg... I assume they got pushed out by this spike here" he said tapping my leg. I winced "and well somehow ya got a spike through your head and you're still with us, so I wanna know how you did that first, before I answer anymore questions." I looked at him in astonishment "wait my" I swallowed hard "m-my head... was impaled" I started to raise my hooves to my muzzle making sure I was all together, sure enough I was drenched in my own blood, I threw up next to BlueMints hooves and fell into it seeing only black. I awoke in my tube again this was becoming a bad habit, I stumbled out onto the floor there was a mirror in the middle of the room this time. I stared at the blood soaked pony that'd once been me, my leg was bandaged and I had another bandage on my ass. I wanted to vomit again but I had nothing to give, I fell back on my haunches hurting my ass even more. "Hello there number eleven" I turned my head and saw the grey stallion I had only seen when I fist awoke "uhh, hello" I wasn't sure  how to respond with my head spinning "you are remarkable, much better than we'd ever hoped you'd be." I wasn't sure what he was talking about "what happened to me" I asked the old stallion "you have been remarkable" again with that word "what the hell does that even mean?" I yelled "you are the first pony we've ever created to be able to regenerate cell tissue" I didn't want to think, my head was throbbing. "Wait a second, sir am- am I invincible?" I asked trying not to sound stupid "oh heavens no, my dear boy" he patted me on the back "then how am I here?" I asked "well that's quite simple you fell your head was impaled on a spike and you regenerated." Oh goddess now this was making me sound like some sorta super hero "how?" I couldn't think of anything else to ask him "ah yes, well you remember that blue goop you were incased in?" He asked "how could I forget it" I was nearly drowning in it when I first woke up. "That is what made you the way you are, the treadmills you were running weren't even on half the time, that bookcase that you lifted off my daughter was almost two tons." I interrupted him "wait your daughter!!" I said shocked and scared at the same time, I wanted to vomit again "yes I know, I know you're shocked that she's my daughter and I haven't already socked you for sleeping with her." I snickered at him "there wasn't much sleeping" I burst out laughing hitting my forehoof on the ground. "Are you finished" he demanded interrupting my amusement "yes I-I'm sorry, please continue" I was truly sorry for what I did even if it was funny "she has been monitoring you and keeping you in check as well as BlueMint." I thought came to mind "so, was she a test too?" I didn't want to upset him anymore than I had "no just a monitor for you and your antics" I heard him mutter something under his breath "still you've made a impression on everyone working in the compound." He said "damn it how am I still here?" I yelled at him again "the cells were restored by the blue jelly in your tube I answered this already." I thought for a moment "oh yes I-I'm sorry I forgot" I apologized "she's in the lab waiting for you" he said as he walked out the door "uhh, sir I never got your name" he turned back and looked at me "all you need to know is that I'm the CEO of the Harvest."
