For generations nopony have given thought whether they are alone in the universe. The question is finally answered when large city-sized spaceships appear over the skies of Equestria, and all over the planet. The visitors extend a friendly hoof to Earth's leaders, and only wish to spread good will and bring everyone to a higher form of harmony.

However, not everything is as it seems as storylines and characters converge when they unravel the truth of the visitors arrival. Where did they come from? Why are they here? And the most important question of all… is this the end of civilization, or the beginning of a new era of something more?
