Growth of a Siren
Growth of a Siren
Load Full StoryAria sighed as she walked to the building. This was one of the most humiliating things of her life. The teen looked back at the car, glaring at the two sitting in it. She wasn’t going to do this. She wasn’t going to be forced to go to the doctor. But, considering Adagio was the one making sure it happened, it was inevitable.
It all started a few weeks back.
Adagio had found the scale. The broken scale.
If you didn’t know, a lot had changed in the couple years after the Sirens failed at Canterlot High. One of those changes, was a certain purple siren’s weight.
A couple of weeks after their defeat, the three girls were in a slump. A depressed, humiliated slump. With their magic gone, they realized that there wasn’t hope in truly being different from the ‘disgusting’ humans they were banished to live around. They were like them now, and that was that.
Sonata was the first to accept such a fate. Not minding her new body from the beginning. If a body could possess the ability to taste food like tacos better than her old one could, then obviously humans were doing something right.
Adagio couldn’t help but follow suit. It wasn’t because she wanted to, but because if they were to survive they would have to endure it and get back on their feet. They had to fit in and start looking for work. And being the leader, that meant she had to be the one to… well- lead them.
Despite the two being reluctant, but willing to take the necessary steps to change, Aria wasn’t exactly taking it as well. She was still just as reproachful, finding fault in every single thing they tried to somehow fit in. That was until she found a job with her blue misfit.
It was a fast food joint, only a block from the run down dump they called a home at the time being. It started out as usual, Aria pouting behind the counter while Sonata actually worked, socializing with the regulars. Out of boredom one day, Aria actually decided to eat lunch there. That’s where it all went downhill.
Aria loved their food. Being the girl she was, she never really indulged in eating any fast food like Sonata who practically lived off it. But, now she could see why. It was ineffable to her. And, it surprisingly gave her the drive to work. After all, she needed money to buy the stuff.
At first, Adagio saw it as Aria finally getting out of her slump and actually commended her… in her own sort of way. Also, Adagio wasn't worried about the amount of food the punkish teen brought home. It was her money and Sonata did it with no problems. She would see how wrong she was in due time, however.
Three months had passed, and things were beginning to pick up. It seemed that eating nothing but fast food in that time, would do much more than Adagio thought. The day of that checkpoint, Aria had been complaining about new clothes. It was obvious why, as what used to be a slim, thin waist was replaced with a pot belly, jutting out over the Siren’s chubby waist. Her wardrobe was failing, and in all places. Her shirt was tight, trying to hold in the newly formed flesh on her gut, breasts, and even her arms plumped up to be a bit thicker. The other major problem was that someone who loved to wear skinny jeans would feel the consequences of packing on so many pounds.
They were skin tight, threatening to rip with any harsh movement. Her thighs had ballooned to be quite chunky, touching at the beginning of her limbs yet still slendering down to her feet. But, the main problem was her ass. It was barely contained within the seat of her bottoms, apparently to the point where Aria’s vehement struggle to fit them in was in vain. If this wasn’t a slight intimation that something was wrong, then Adagio didn’t know what was.
And it only got worse.
Two seasons had gone by, and at that point Adagio took action. Aria had begun slacking. Despite being around 50 pounds overweight in the first three months of her newfound diet, she still contributed in helping her fellow Sirens survive together. She still brought her share of rent and cash for their other needs, and that’s all Adagio really wanted out of her. She wanted them to be productive because deep down she cared. Plus, she didn’t want them wasting away while she did all the work. She was still Adagio Dazzle.
But, as time went on Aria’s recent gain also brought on sloth. Adagio was a bit oblivious at first, trusting Aria. But, she could begin to unravel the deception when rent would come around.
Aria would make a excuses such as, “I needed new clothes,” or “work was slow that month.” It was a tough pill to swallow the first time, and Adagio simply let the fatty off with a warning and they would go grab a bite to eat. But, the truth was that Aria was simply out-eating her budget. Sonata took notice as well, keeping in mind that she worked with her. Aria wasn’t really lazy at work before. Sonata knew that. Either she was actually working, or she was just being herself and would be a bitch about it. But she never really didn’t work. That stopped when she began having lunch breaks.
Sonata would be behind the counter, fixing up a sandwich of some kind and Aria would come by and say she was taking a break, her hand holding a soda while her other was pulling at her constricted sweats, attempting to magically stretch them over her love handles anymore than they could.
“Lunch break? But it’s only nine,” Sonata had said incredulously, plopping the sandwich on the counter.
Aria just shrugged and walked out back, leaving the poor girl to pick up the pace for what would be a couple hours.
So, by the beginning of autumn Adagio was getting irritated. She didn’t need to check on Aria at work to know she was becoming a bum. She just needed to check the couch after hours to see her sprawled out, asleep. Of course she would wake her up, making the purple girl groan tiredly, her current weight sinking her into the couch and riding her shirt up.
“Ugh… five more minutes..” Aria murmured, turning on her side.
“No, get up. Now,” Adagio ordered, her voice shaking in pent up anger.
The thing that pissed Adagio every time was that even after that Aria would just head to the fridge.
By that point, it was clear to them that there was a definite problem. Aria wasn’t moving around as much, as unsurprising as that was. Even when the three were to go get some food, something she was addicted to, she found out from experience that it was a lot of work to walk down the block more than twice a day. Her bulky fat simply weighed her nonexistent muscles down too much and she was usually a number of feet behind her roommates whenever she decided to make the walk. So, she settled on merely staying at home to absent-mindedly take advantage of Sonata’s worry for her to have her bring home a bag of food they ordered. It was only hurting the meaty girl’s decaying health more, but seeing how ignorant Aria was to that fact, she simply kept up with the same trend despite Adagio’s attempts to stop her.
This lasted months, and Aria unfortunately wouldn’t stop growing. It would seem like he would never stop, but taking us to a couple weeks ago, there was a massive breaking point.
2 weeks ago
“ARIA!” Adagio screamed, her voice ringing throughout the whole apartment. Sonata bolted up from the floor where she slept, frightened by the tone. Adagio never yelled like that unless someone did something horrible. Aria sat up on the couch with slight trouble, her flabby gut squishing into a heavy roll of flab on her lap.
“What?” She called out indignantly, rubbing her eyes and plump cheeks.
The puffy haired teen poked her head out with a deathly glare. “Come here, now,” she growled.
Aria spotted something in Adagio’s hand, and her face flushed. She had found the scale. The obese girl swung a tree trunk sized thigh over the worn out and flattened cushions that she slept on. She brushed off her stretched shirt looked at Sonata who looked up at her uneasy. They said nothing to each other as Aria sighed and waddled rigidly to the bathroom where her fate would be sealed.
And of course, Adagio was waiting. She held the two pieces of what used to be the scale in the bathroom, her eyes focused on Aria who took up the doorway. “Care to explain this?” Adagio asked, her voice leaking out more wrath.
Aria gulped.
“I found this in my closet last night, Aria. And, I know scales don’t just crush themselves. The only thing heavy enough smash this other than the damn fridge is you,” Adagio said, poking the girl’s gut that hung a good foot away from its owner.
Aria blushed, subconsciously fiddling with her clothes. Being demeaned up front about her weight made her feel... exposed. She hated that feeling. “I-I don’t know what you mean. I’m not that big,” she muttered, her pouting face being more of a scrunched up frown.
Adagio sighed and placed the scale down. She took a step closing in on Aria until they were inches away from each other. “I’ve done all I could to tell you nicely, but I guess all that fast food did more than rot away your muscles. You are fat. F-A-T. You aren’t a size 5 anymore. You are obese,” she said, each sentence even more enunciated as if she was speaking to a toddler.
Adagio didn’t stop. She grabbed a handful of Aria’s side flesh, squeezing the fatty tissue harshly. “This is all you, you fat pig. You’re a disgrace. What person would let them fall so low, letting their body waste away like you do? I mean, this scale held 350 pounds. Did you think you could hide it? Please, I see you come home every month in a cab with new clothes.” she slid her hand over the curve of her expansive rear, nipping at the minute space between the cotton and her skin. “This is a cute set of pants, I could use it as a towel it’s so big,” she taunted.
Aria shook, her body holding back the urge to yell. She knew Adagio could be cruel, teasing sometimes. She’d seen it before on others while she still had her singing voice. But, she didn’t think that type of behavior would ever befall her. Yet, here she was.
“You understand now? You are nothing but a liability. But, I care too much about you to let your fat ass go starve by yourself. So, you’re going to a doctor,” Adagio said more seriously, her invasive fingers once again jabbing Aria’s doughy blubber.
Aria furrowed her brow, holding back any objections at the moment. She had gone through enough belittling that morning.
Present Day
Aria stood at the door, hesitant to walk in like Adagio had instructed. After about a couple minutes of standing there, Adagio had enough. She slammed the door and walked over to the thick girl.
“I’m not going in there, I don’t need a doctor, “ Aria seethed as Adagio grew near, putting her hands on her massive hips that stretched her grungy pants to their limit.
“Yes you are! You are in need of care, so you will carry your jiggly, arrogant self in there. Don’t make me make a scene, I’m not your mother,” Adagio scolded, squeezing her shoulder and turning her to the door again. “I’ll be in the car with Sonata. Don’t come back until your appointment is done.”
Not seeing much of an option, Aria groaned and jammed her body through the doorframe. The waiting room was large, have a lot of open rug flooring and chairs lined up along the two side walls. No one was there, so it had a bit of a desolate feeling. At least no one would see her there. Opposite to the entrance was the counter where sign-ins and such were conducted as well as the door to the individual check up rooms.
She silently took a seat in the corner, not bothering to sign in. Why would she want anyone to know she was here for being fat? She sighed heavily as her body made the metal chair squeak, the sound seeming a lot louder in the calming silence of the waiting area. Her hands held her growling tummy, somehow trying to make it stop bothering her.
Adagio didn't exactly let her have the biggest breakfast that morning.
“This is stupid… I don’t need a damn doctor. What does she know?” Aria whispered to herself, kicking her legs out to keep the fabric from tightening too much at her knees.
Ten long minutes passed and in no time a nurse opened the door to the offices, looking around the empty room to eventually lock eyes with Aria.
“Aria Blaze? We’re ready to see you now,” she said, her bright smile contrasting with Aria’s skeptical eyes.
She rolled her eyes at the lighter woman even as she followed the nurse across the hallway, looking at the doctors who eyed her disappointedly, or even with pity. That look pissed her off the most. She huffed-er scoffed with quicker steps she was used to to keep up with the jubilant nurse. She looked familiar, maybe it was because she looked like every nurse she imagined; blonde, happy, and just did their job. Yeah, that sounded about right.
They halted at one of the rooms, and the nurse motioned to the scale. “I’m going to ask you to step on the scale. I need to take your weight and height,” the nurse explained.
Aria knew it was inevitable, but having to let this chick weigh her was more humiliating than she thought. But, she couldn’t refuse. She put a step on the metal slab, the device creaking audibly as she put her full weight on it. She held her stomach in, not wanting it to press into the metal rod holding the weights to determine her heaviness. At least it didn’t crack like earlier, but that was just a small positive in the vast ocean of problems she was drowning in.
The nurse moved the bar above her patient until it touched the top of her head, leveling off at five-foot-four. She quickly pulled it back up and slid the base weight across the medal bar once. Apparently not moving the scale at all, she slid it to the bottom to get significantly closer to the correct weight. Aria’s focus stayed on the bar, realizing that she was over 400 pounds. A couple minor flips of the finer weights matched Aria’s astounding weight.
430 pounds.
Aria held a squeak of shock, mortified by that fact. The nurse said nothing and gestured the poor girl into the room. She waddled into the white room, taking in the simple fomat. A long examination table with thin paper cloth, a sink near the corner, a desk and chair to the back of the small chamber.
“Doctor will be here shortly ma’am. You can sit on the table to wait if you’d like,” the nurse said faintly before closing the door, leaving Aria alone once again.
She hefted her body onto the table, her fat wobbling like pudding as she settled on the structure. She could’ve swore that it would collapse under her though. That was reassuring.

“Aria Blaze?” A voice called, waking the intended target from her daze.
A young woman filled Aria’s view. She looked no older than her mid twenties, black hair in a clip barrette to keep it from falling over her white attire. Dark eyes that were framed by a slicked back bangs slowly assessed what she was dealing with exactly.
“Hello, Miss Blaze. It’s nice to meet you. I hear you came for a check-up,” the doctor inquired while taking a seat at the desk to look over Aria’s medical records.
“S-Sort of…” Aria muttered, twiddling her fingers on top of her hungry belly.
The brunette nodded, and gave her patient an encouraging smile. “I know you don’t want to be here. But, seeing how you’ve changed so much I think it was necessary. Just know that I don’t think of you in any bad light. I just want you to be honest and clear with me. It’s the only way I can help,” she explained, patting one of Aria’s ginormous thighs.
Aria meant to flinch at the touch, but it was gentle. She looked down. “Yeah… ok,” she conceded.
“Good. You can just call me Miss Rogera. I want to start by asking when this all started,” Rogera asked, pulling a small journal.
Aria scratched her head and blushed. “I-I’d say about a year ago. I started eating fast food… and that’s all I’ve eaten since,” she admitted, feeling more shameful by the second.
Rogera just nodded, her judgment on the new facts unknown. “I see. I won’t ask how you managed to gain over three hundred pounds in just a year because I doubt even you know,” she said. And, it was true.
“Do you have trouble walking? Breathing?”
Aria coughed into her fist. “S-Sometimes…”
Rogera wrote it down. “Okay, how about your heart. Any chest pains?”
Aria shook her head. “No, I feel fine.”
That too went in her notes. These questions went on for a number of minutes until Rogera felt she had enough knowledge to continue. “Alright. I think I am going to have to do a full body physical,” she said, her face not showing any sign of jokes.
Aria’s face burned up profusely. “Y-You mean…?”
“Yes, now take your clothes off. It’s just us,” Rogera muttered, her hands rummaging in her pockets to pull out some glasses.
Aria reluctantly pulled her shirt over.
She felt so… exposed. Only in her bra and panties, having Rogera circle her, inspect her, was definitely not what she liked. Her gut hung out over her thighs and puffed up for her huge breasts to rest on it. Aria looked sideways as Rogera went behind her where her shelf sized ass was. Her panties were tight, but still fitting.
“I’m starting at your shoulders,” Rogera said, moving Aria’s flabby arm up to examine. Her arms were big, and having those looked at first was somehow worse. Feeling soft fingers run over her limb stressed the girl out even further.
Rogera then undid her bra.
“H-Hey-!”
“Relax, I’m simply checking your breasts for any signs of cancer. Rapid weight gain can cause that,” Rogera said, silencing the teen. The G-cup undergarments were placed on the table before both of the young doctor’s meticulous hands cupped one fat boob. Gentle, circular motions made Aria bite her lip, stifling a yelp as Rogera poked her sensitive nipple. She let the mammary fall to it’s original spot and move to the other.
“Good there… now this thing,” Rogera let Aria know as she slid her hands to the girl’s purple gut.
Rogera rubbed over every inch, pinching her love handles while lifting up the fat to look under. It was embarrassing. Aria was beginning to wonder why this was even in the inspection. She blushed as Rogera pressed her ear to her stomach, her silky hair all over her supple flesh.
“W-Why are you touching my belly like this?” Aria finally asked.
Rogera shrugged. “Just to be sure…”
She then stopped and pointed to her panties, “Off.”
And so they came off. Rogera spread Aria’s stance, looking at her inner thighs with curiosity. She pat her hip, and pinched her calf to get her percent of body fat. She then moved to her posterior.
Aria turned around as she heard a chuckle. “What is it, Doctor?” she asked grumpily.
“Oh, nothing. I’m just a bit envious of your curves. You don’t have any sort of skin issues with all the weight you put on. Only a couple stretch marks on your tush. A bit of lotion should fix that,” Rogera commented.
She then ran her hand up to the middle of Aria’s back. “I want you to breathe a big breath,” she ordered gently.
Aria did so, getting a slight hum from Rogera.
~~~~~
“Alright. Well, you are healthy. It may be a bit troublesome. But you can technically be this big and be healthy. Just make sure you exercise a bit and you’ll be fine.”
Aria looked wide-eyed. “W-What? You aren’t going to call me a fat pig? Tell me to lose weight?”
Rogera laughed. “Of course not. If you want to be big, go ahead. In fact, you looked good like that,” she said poking Aria’s belly.
Aria flushed and laughed. “Well… that’s new.”
Aria felt a card get handed to her. “This is my number. If you want to swing by for lunch later, I’m down,” Rogera offered as she walked out the room with a smirk.
“You’d be surprised I know a little fast food joint around the block.”
