Meet Up At Sugarcube Corner

Twilight Sparkle was in Sugarcube Corner eating a cupcake as she was taking a break from work that she was doing that day. While she was having her snack she was worrying about her hooves as Pinkie Pie worked in the back room. Twilights hooves were really bad. She should have expected that though as she didn't take care of them even though she should be taking care of them and checking them every other day but she usually avoided that but unfortunelty that has been a bad choice for her to do to herself.

She saw Twilight before and they did greet eachother earlier. Twilight hoped that maybe she could hang out with Pinkie Pie after she was finished working at her job in baking in Sugarcube Corner which was very busy each year for the day. Twilight looked at her hooves in disgust. She needed a hooficure but didn't want to go through with getting one as her hooves were sensitive and the las thing she needed was to have herself laugh hysterically.

She smiled as she watched Pinkie Pie work. Pinkie Pie saw her and smiled. Twilight continued to wait. Pinkie Pie was happy that her friend was there as she couldn't wait to talk to Twilight. Finally she finished and walked over to Twilight and sat by her. She spoke.

"Hey Twilight. How is your evening going? Have you been doing good? I've been doing okay myself but I want to know how you have been doing with herself. Did you get any work done? I see that you came over here to eat here which makes me happy that you like coming over to see me. But why are you having a dessert before your dinner? Won't that ruin your appetite?" She asked. Twilight giggled and responded.

"My evening is going fine it's been slow but good since I've just been reading books. Also It's not a dessert its just a small snack. I'll be able to have dinner. I always have a snack. Plus I just decided that I needed fresh air as I have been cooped up in my library all day. But my hooves aren't in good shape so...." Twilight said as she smiled.

"Yeah you shouldn't stay in your library all the time as you need exercise. I know I'm going to sound like Rainbow Dash but exercise is cool. You really need to get out more silly. Also if your hooves aren't looking good then you should get a hooficure. Aloe and Lotus give discounts which is nice for me to do." Pinkie Pie said. Twilight smiled.

"I know that. I just forget to get fresh air as I stay inside sometimes on some days that I forget to get breaks and go outside so I blame that on myself since that's my responsibility to take care of myself. I also haven't been getting hooficure S and now I'm paying for it." Twilight said. Pinkie Pie shook her head.

"You don't have to blame yourself. You haven't done nothing wrong it's just that you neglect yourself of basic needs that we all have to have. You don't have to worry though because as long as you get exercise then you'll be alright." Pinkie Pie said.

"Thanks Pinkie. Do you want to go to the spa after your done?" She asked her friend. Pinkie Pie nodded.

"Sure!" She said. After that Twilight waited for Pinkie Pie's shift to end. Once Pinkie Pie's shift ended Pinkie Pie went out to meet Twilight. They both began to walk in the direction of the town and came to the spa. Twilight smiled as she needed a hooficure. She looked at Pinkie Pie.

"Can we go to the spa Pinkie? I think I really need to go for my hooves." Twilight said to Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie chuckled and motioned her forward.

"You don't even have to ask me! My answer is going to be yes anyway. I could use a massage anyway by back is starting to kill me." She said. Twilight laughed and they both entered the spa. When they entered Aloe and Lotus greeted them and Twilight and Pinkie Pie told them what they wanted.

Pinkie Pie went forward for hers but Twilight stepped back a bit. Aloe looked on with her in concern. Twilight swallowed and changed her mind. She spoke up for herself. Pinkie Pie looked at her with confusion.

"Never mind. I don't need a hooficure. They will be fine either way." She said. Pinkie Pie looked at her in disbelief as she couldn't believe Twilight would split on Pinkie Pie just like that.

"Are you sure about that Twilight? If your worried about the cost we do have discounts we can give. It wouldn't be any problem Twilight." Aloe said. Twilight shook her head. She responded.

"It's not the cost that I'm worried about. My hooves are sensitive so I really don't want to get one." Twilight said. Aloe and Lotus gave an understanding look. Aloe touched her shoulder

"You don't have to get one if you don't want to." She said. Pinkie Pie nodded in agreement. Twilight smiled and decided on what to do. She spoke of her decision.

"Thanks. Pinkie Pie can get her massage. I'll just head on home." Twilight said. They both said bye to her and Twilight left in a hurry. She walked back home. When she got home she felt embarrassed with herself. She looked at her hooves and just shrugged. She might as well never get a hooficure as it bothers her. She just shrugged it off and went to do something else.
