Moving to Manehattan to join the MPD forensic team, Lightspeed encounters a lonely all-nighter in the police forensics lab. After lightning and fate struck, she becomes a speedster, able to run faster than even the fastest athlete! In order to combat Queen Chrysalis' conspiracy to take over Manehattan, Lightspeed dons the red suit to protect her home from this chitin clad criminal. She must become this city's symbol of hope and justice. She is, THE FLASH!

Hey! The72ndHunter here (the author). So this is my first story! Yaaay! Criticism and whatnot is appreciated, and I hope you enjoy this total ripoff story!

P.S. Do you like the 'chitin clad criminal' bit? I'm a little proud of it myself.

Edit: I've sort of quit this story. I want to come back to it, but in the interest of honesty, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, or how I'm going to write this. I've also got another story in the works, but I still want this to go places. Regardless, this is now officially on hiatus.
