A sigh escaped Rarity's lips. For a while, something had been running in her mind. Thoughts and feelings she knew she shouldn't be having, yet at the same time couldn't help. The unicorn wanted to focus back on her work and with that she did, trying her best to push those thoughts aside as to not act upon them.
The fashionista was ready to finish sewing the dress and she was using her magic to place it upon the dresser for work. But something snapped her out of focus.
"Rarity, I'm home!" came the sound of a squeaky voice which Rarity found adorable.
Rarity heard the hoofsteps and instantly know who it was. Looking behind her, she saw her little sister, Sweetie Belle. And she had a huge smile on her face. Rarity couldn't help but smile back upon seeing her younger sister's muzzle. "Oh, hello Sweetie. How was school today?" she wondered.
"It was great!" Sweetie paused, "Minus the test. But I passed!"
The older unicorn nodded eagerly, "That's wonderful, darling." she looked to her dress then back to her sister. Those thoughts coming back to her instantly. "...How about I finish up cleaning and then we can do something together? Just you and me." she offered.
"Okay, Rarity!" yelled Sweetie, her voice cracking slightly. The sound almost made the older unicorn melt. There was a slightly jolly skip in her trot as she left the room.
With a sigh, Rarity used her magic to put her tools away. She loved Sweetie Belle dearly. But that was it, she loved her. Not just as a sister, but something more. She couldn't really describe it. The unicorn loved the filly's presence, moreso than usual.
Rarity realized these emotions started when Sweetie finally got her cutie mark with her friends. She was so proud of her little sister. But what she noticed after the fact was that she started to mature, mentally and maybe physically. She started to act more adult after a while, and Rarity couldn't help but see her sister in a new light.
She always thought her sister was adorable, but now she thought she was beautiful. The unicorn put a hoof to her head, remembering her cute grin when she walked in. Her smile, her mane, her eyes... A grin unconsciously formed on Rarity's muzzle as her mind ran with all of this once again.
At first, Rarity feared it was just lust. But looking back, she realized she wouldn't risk anything to hurt her sister. She loved her too much to even try. Her confusing taboo emotions made her grunt. She would have never thought this would happen to her, but there she was. More confused than usual.
The unicorn bit her lip, a scared look in her eyes. She wanted to be with Sweetie Belle. "Oh dear..." she muttered, sitting down on her work table, with her dress being put away. Rarity rubbed her mane, wondering how to approach this topic. She wasn't even sure why her mind was rambling on today of all days.
On one hoof, she could be with somepony she was close to and truly loved. But on another hoof, if things go awry, it could damage their relationship. And that was the last thing Rarity wanted. But she loved her, and she would do anything to make sure that wouldn't happen. Then again, she wouldn't even know if she felt the same way.
'Bless her innocence.' thought Rarity with a small grin.
"Rarity! Are you okay?" she heard her little sister call out, her tone sounding concerned. That snapped the older unicorn out of her small trance.
"I... I'm fine, Sweetie!" Rarity assured the unicorn filly. A stray idea come to her, "...Actually, I think I am ready! Can you come over here, please?" she added and asked kindly.
Sweetie was heard trotting back to her inspiration room, where she slowly creaked the door open. "Alright, Rarity! What do you want to do?" she wondered in excitement. She saw her older sister sitting on the table contemplating and tilted her head in confusion.
Rarity exhaled as she smiled softly, "Sweetie Belle... I do think it is time I talked to you about something."
The filly gulped, "Am I in trouble? I promise I'll fix it!"
The older unicorn waved a hoof, "No, darling. You are not in trouble. It is more of a... Personal problem for me that I do think you need to hear. Do not worry, nothing is wrong."
Using her magic, Rarity lifted Sweetie to her lap as she wrapped her hooves around the filly's back. "Sweetie Belle..." she paused, "...Do you love me?"
Sweetie nodded, "Of course I love you! You're my best big sister!" she declared proudly.
Shaking her head, Rarity added, "N-No, deary. Do you love me?"
"Love you?" Sweetie Belle repeated, "As in... Love you love you?" she questioned. Rarity nodded. "A... special somepony?"
The older unicorn relunctantly nodded in silence, causing Sweetie to studder out one simple question, "W-Why...? But... I'm your sister!" she realized. Rarity released her hug to answer.
"I am aware of that, darling. But... I can't help it. As to why? Well, you are simply you, Sweetie. I love everything about you. You're beautiful, that little squeak in your voice when you're excited..." she teased, causing Sweetie to blush in embarassment, "Your eyes, and how you always want to spend time with me to do anything. And I do love spending time with you, dear. I guess... at some point my foolish romantic mind got the better of me."
Rarity frowned and rubbed her sister's two-toned mane. "I'm sorry I've thrown this upon you, Sweetie. But I felt you deserved to know. You don't have to return my feelings. I truly understand." she assured in a hushed tone in the filly's ear. "Just know I will always love you and will do nothing to hurt you."
Another sigh escaped Rarity's lips as she looked deep into Sweetie Belle's eyes. "I... I..." she kissed Rarity's cheek, catching the mare off guard. "I want to." she smiled sheepishly, "You... You're my big sister. I-I can trust you. You've never hurt me on purpose and I know you never will." she hugged Rarity again and looked back into her eyes, "Can we be special someponies?" she asked.
Rarity giggled, "Of course, Sweetie, deary. You have no idea how happy I am right now. But as long as you are sure you want to do this." she saw Sweetie swiftly nod in response, easing her worries. The mare kissed the filly's cheek and gazed lovingly at Sweetie with a half-lidded stare once she raised her head again.
The older unicorn cupped the filly's chin over her hoof as she lowered her head and raised Sweetie's. The distance between the two of them closed as they embraced in a deep kiss. Butterflies fluttered were in their stomachs as they pressed their lips together and closed their eyes upon doing so.
It was everything Rarity hoped for. She could feel Sweetie tense up at the feeling before metling into the embrace. The older sister put a hoof on the filly's back. An adorable squeak escaped Sweetie Belle as Rarity moaned, tilting her head to deepen the kiss. The two remained like that until they slowly parted.
Sweetie was the first to speak once they separated, putting a hoof to her lips, "I... liked that." she paused. Before Rarity had any time to respond, her little sister raised her head and kissed her on the lips again, surprising her.
Deciding to reciprocate, Rarity held her sister tighter, feeling a hoof on her chest. Sweetie was heard moaning in the kiss this time. Wanting a little more, the mare moved her tongue on the filly's closed mouth, causing her to open her mouth. Rarity's tongue danced around Sweetie's, whose wet appendage remained still in the action, since she was not used to such intimacy.
Rarity tilted her head, moving her tongue around Sweetie's mouth before feeling her tongue move a little, swirling around her own slightly. It sent tingles down the older unicorn's back as she enjoyed the feeling, putting a hoof over the filly's flank, supporting her sister to sit up a little more to deepen the kiss even more.
Sweetie Belle was not used to this, but she loved and trusted Rarity enough. She felt Rarity move her tongue in her mouth and so she decided to mirror the mare's actions, tilting her head slightly. They moaned lightly, loving every second of their shared intimacy.
Alas, they parted once again, seeing a glistening thin trail of drool. Rarity giggled at hearing Sweetie let out a moan as she slightly flicked her tongue on the filly's bottom lip as they separated. She smiled at seeing her sister's lovestruck face.
In excitement, she pecked her sister's lips repeatedly. Shorter, but no less passionate kisses. She ended it by kissing her sister's tiny horn, surprising the filly. Rarity wiped her mouth as she looked into her sister's loving gaze, "I love you, Sweetie Belle." she whispered.
Sweetie smiled, "I.. I love you too, Rarity."
The two quickly kissed once more. Once they stopped, they held each other in their hooves and hopped down from the table, continuing to plan any activities. Rarity hoped to continue this level of intimacy with Sweetie though, and didn't want to rush her into anything. She loved her too much for that.
