The Party
The evening was young and the lights were turned ever so low with ponies swaying to the musics steady rhythm as the bar
tabs grew to the steady tempo of emptying tankards of well aged vintage cider.
Tonight in the royal hall of Canterlot the two royal sisters hosted a little gettogether after another Equestrian foe was bested.
Pinkie crooned the crowd as a lone drunken changeling tickled the ivories playing back up to whatever song she came up with,
even the songs that Rarity would call crass and scandalous. He played and bobbed his head in time with the Pie, his tunes rang out
in support of her strange on stage performance.
A strange one that changeling he didn't look like a pile of skittles of a reformed hiver like Thorax and his bunch,
She called him Doomie.
Apple Jack laid back at the table nursing her drink complaining about how this royal cider was way below her own standards
and that a quick trek to Sweet Apple Acres would remedy the plight of the poor party drinkers subjecting themselves to this mild and
watered down turpentine. Luckily for Rarity a secret admirer provided her with a case of Canterlots finest royal wine and a box of
the finest chocolates from Nuzzle-Land.
Fluttershy was three sheets to the wind dancing with butterflys squirrels and bunnies in a natural wonderland in her own little corner
of a snow globe provided by the ever screwy Discord who saw her for the light weight she was on a single snifter of cider
"What else could I do?" Discord whimpered "She wanted to do me right here right now in front of everypony!"
The Crusaders danced with Spike in dizzying circles as this was their first time out drinking since coming of age. Scootaloo was cool
as a cucumber hanging with Rainbow and the Wonderbolt crew, They chatted away between spastic bouts of what they thought
was dancing, Apple Bloom shredded the rugs and kicked up her hoofs in contrast to Sweeties slow clinging on the dragon when her
turn came around. Being the only dragon and a desirable piece of plot as the Wonderbolt gals pointed out, was good for him.
So far it was a very busy night on the dance floor for the scaled two legged fire breathing pony.
Rarity watched the dance floor seeing the couples on display. The groups gathering up splitting off and joining the mixer.
Twilights dancing was abhorrently abandoned of any couth or rhythm as Celestia watched on, worrying about when not if Twilights
flailing hooves would injure some nearby pony. But now this minute the music droned on and the drinks flowed.
The Crusaders took turns with the Wonderbolt guys and Spike while the Wonderbolt gals took turns with the dragon and Big Mac.
Spikes tail was swinging to the beat as his steps and waddles glided along the floor his claws holding hooves and manes.
A free for all was in full swing on the dance floor as hooves, claws fetlocks and cutie marks blurred into one vibrant swirl.
"Well?" Apple Jack drawled "you seem a bit preoccupied looking out there like that".
"What?" Rarity snapped out of her gazing "I'm having a wonderful time Apple Jack dear, It's just the music is not to my liking".
"Really? You're just on your second bottle of that fancy bubbly stuff and no hoedown".
"Yes".
"If you don't mind my saying you look like a puppy dog looking at a pork chop tied around some ponies neck".
". . ." Rarity huffed and drew another gulp of wine.
"Look at them little ones they're almost as tall as we are, soon we'll be put out to pasture if we don't buy the farm
on our next go round"
AJ continued thoughtfully "look at Sweetie Belle, I bet her and Spike are going to..."
"Not my dear little Sweetie Belle and my Spikey Wikey they would never!"
"Why not and if not who?" AJ smiled "You have a problem with that? It's not like you're interested or something".
"I can attract any stallion anywhere and at anytime Apple Jack I'm Rarity after all!" Rarity gulped "I most certainly can".
Apple Jack grabbed the third bottle of Raritys fancy drinking stuff and read off the label "Amours Elysian Elixir, bottled and aged
to perfection in the old abandoned dungeons of Canterlot Castle".
She hit the bottom of the bottle with her free hoof launching the cork across the hall with a small spray of liquor, Apple Jack sniffed
the contents and downed half the bottle at one go.

Rarity watched the corks path as AJ popped the bottles stopper upper thingy her eyes focusing as it went on by her little sister
and Spike in a very close slow dance. Sweeties head bounced as she laughed at some trivial little insignificant bit of nothing.
Rarity gasped and turned to see AJ downing her very expensive gift from HER secret admirer, chugging it like some cheap Barnyard
Bargains Thunderbird wine.
AJ hoofed off the bottle to the peeved tipsy mare who chugged the remains till it was dry and who opened bottle number four.
"Now Rarity I hope your not thinking of leaving here drunk are you?"
"Yes and in the company of a fine strapping gentlestallion too I'll show you, I'm Rarity the most fabulous mare in Equestria!"
"I here Trenderhoof is still available and Blue Blood too" Apple Jack laughed as Rarity stumbled past her grabbing what was left of
her box of chocolates and making her way onto the dance floor.
Rarity spun around looking at Misses farm girl cowpony whatever and sputtered "And who do you have?"
"I've got all my plugs lined up, don't you worry your pretty little muzzle over me, Rainbow and I only got twenty bits riding on you".
"If that's a wager count me in! IT IS ON!" Rarity spun back to the dance floor getting dizzy and crashing into a group of innocent
dancers throwing off the rhythm causing a domino effect. Ponies stallions mares and one dragon stumbled into a heap.
Pinkie stopped singing just long enough to see Rarity watching the stallions picking up their dance partners and scurrying away
from Miss fabulous disaster at dance central.
The more Rarity watched the more alone she felt , The Crusaders and Rainbow lifted the drunk Rarity to her hooves as AJ meandered
to the center of the floor, Raritys eyes spinning like a Las Pegasus slot machine popping up lemons.
"Big guy you need to fix this problem, right here, right now" Apple Jack ordered Spike "Your lady only needs asked and not when falling
to your deaths off some mountain and right now after she drank your fancy drinking stuff I don't think she's in the condition to answer".
Rarity went limp in Spikes arms as he lifted her bridle style he looked apologetically to the group as Sweetie put the extra bottle
of wine and chocolate box on her sisters body.
Twilight raised her feathers to hide a blush as Celestia asked the service to ready a room for two.
Spike carried her along the hallway witnessed by all the attendees. The CMC, Apple Jack and Rainbow tagging along quietly talking
with each other
"Spike would never take advantage of her when she's blasted".
"I bet she doesn't last thirty seconds till she pukes".
"Doesn't my sister look romantic?"
"So dead drunk is the new lovey dovey?"
"He'll be rejoining the party any minute".
Spike waddled through the door and laid his lady to rest pulling the blankets over the unconscious mare, tucking her hooves
carefully over the edge of the sheet just as she liked it. Spike took a deep breath leaned in close to her muzzle and fluffed her pillow.
The room was comfortably dark and cozy. Spike had nothing to lose and who would know? Spike looked down on Rarity and made
his move.
"Rarity I know you know I know about knowing how I've had this crush on you, you know?"
Spike face palmed knowing that she'd never know what he knew about knowing about what she knew about her knowing about
whatever...Dude grow a stiffer spine.
"Come on Spike you can do this" Spike told himself "Ah Rarity I really love you. . . at first I saw you you were the most fabulous mare
I've ever met and when I got to know you I wanted more. I wish I can take my time and explore everything about you, Twilight said
we can even have foals being I was hatched with her magic but you're a career mare I know that your business comes first,
I don't now how to say this but I could live my life with you for a second and have it end then live a thousand years without you.
Spike looked down at Rarity "Not bad for a dry run, I just wish I could tell you when you're awake".
He leaned down to kiss and noticed the chocolates melting "Twi, would get the wrong type of chocolates for wine".
Moving the box and bottle to the night table he once more looked at Rarity peacefully laying on the sheets her barrel in tempo
with her breaths Spike knelt over her and gave her a peck on the lips
"Sleep well my princess some day this dragon .."
"Is about time my precious scales".
A very embarrassed Spike bolted for the door his claws reaching for safety of the now closing door.
Even for the much newer and improved Spike the dragon he was no match for the magical clutches of the drunken mighty mare.
Her four hooves encircled him as she drew him in to her barrel her magic engulfing them both, She caressed his scales and spines
as she snuggled her dragon.
"Thank you for your little confession Spikey boo" She cooed "I have a confession too".
Spike shuttered as she nibbled on his ear his claws lightly gripping her hooves surrounding his body, he surrendered blissfully.
"You are my favorite dragon".
"I'm the only dragon in Equesrtia".
"Oh hush you" Rarity raised her voice "RAINBOW APPLE JACK, DEARS I KNOW YOUR LISTENING BEYOND THE DOOR,
YOU TWO HAVE TO RENEGOTIATE YOUR LITTLE WAGER FOR A LATER DATE! SPIKE AND I WILL WAIT
UNTIL WE ARE ENGAGED FOR A WHILE BEFORE YOU CAN COLLECT after all even drunk I am still a lady".
"So that was your confession?".
"No Spikey I was once a stallion".
"What?!?"
"Now that I have your undivided attention I wish for a great many foals" she gripped and snuggled her treasure.
"So so you're a mare?"
"What do you think Twilight?"
"I think I'll be a great auntie again in no time" as she winked into sight with a flash heading quietly for the door.
"I didn't expect that" Spike deadpanned "I think I need a stiff drink".
Rarity brought two glasses and the bottle in front of them both, popped the stopper and poured till the glasses were full.
"With our little troop Spikey shall we?"

Fluttershy sashayed rubbing her plot with a squeak across the glass of the snow globe in a very provocative dance
her wings extended in a lustful Pegasus display eyeing her very embarrassed host the Lord of Chaos.
"I should of known it would be the quite shy one so much for our next tea time" He smiled wickedly lifting the globe and vanishing
"So much chaos in such a shy little package, between Rarity, Spike and her I'm very sure our foals will be chaos enough for everyone".
Discords voice continued "And you deviants thought because of the title there would be gratuitous sex and other vulgar innuendos".
"Rarity did get her Dragon after all."
