Things seem to be dancing in a simple dream. Time is kind to me, it's warm and cold, fast flowing yet invisible. It's a bit of a river that is flowing with me gently. But, for some reason, a lot of turbulence, rocks, and obstacles bump into me. Some of them are the things I... created, think about, and there are some things that just happen... A bit coincidentally. I am Lucky Firefly. My name is Lucky Firefly, and I haven't been using nor making much of myself. It's a bit tough, looking into a bowl and seeing your reflection, thinking about what I'm going to do, when- I really don't know what I will ever do, what I can do- while imagining that I can do something. I was born to my Mother, a Unicorn. I pity her a lot- I was also born to my Father as well. He's a I love him a lot, well, I love them both a lot, but sometimes, I sit down and feel I could do so much more. Season's usually dance by, and I don't think what I do is enough.
I am afraid.
I'm scared to jump into that fast flowing river of things that other mundane ponies do. I imagine myself doing the impossible, jumping into that fast flowing river and riding the currents like I was destined to. Like I am youth, exuberence, boldness, confidence, and happy.
Fireflies come out and glow at night, they dance and sing and sometimes they find someone else who likes to sing as well. But... whenever I dream, when I imagine things, at first, it is liberating, I am free, I can breathe, I am flying, pure- glowing. I can gallop for ages, create what I want- live a life I want- be the pony I want to be. But, when I wake up, when I turn around, I am grounded. I realize, that I don't see some signs and I am unable to recognize the patterns of the daily things that people do.
Being afraid holds me down. Being afraid. Being confused about everything. I haven't flown yet- I'm just a firefly that hasn't left her cacoon. But whenever someone comes to talk to this firefly, I am well built, a bit naive to some- with a classy charm, goofy but I think there are some cracks.
I don't want there to be anymore cracks. I want to fly. But I am scared to, because when I try, or when I did try, it... I don't know.
Wake of waves
Today, I decided I would paint something. I talked with Earlun today, she's the little voice from my 'light feeling' thats free- and looks like a white light flowing from my chest and mouth when I talk. She said, maybe I should paint what I feel in my heart, chest and stomach. Paint an image that comes into my mind. I remebered that as I talked to her, the white light suddenly wafted to a figure of a pony with a white coat and starry irredescent mane. She's similar to me in looks, except her cutie mark is a white flower blooming. It was nice, Earlun was sitting on a low sofa with purple linens while I sit and listen. I twirled my mane and hummed thoughtfuly.
"That does seem like a lovely idea Earlun. I don't have paints or any software for it, but I think I would like to draw something lovely and starry. Sometime I see or feel."
