Power Ponies vs The Red Hoof

  This story is inspired by the animated film, Batman: Under the Red Hood. The prologue is also partly inspired by the film Justice League: Doom.

  The Power Ponies are portrayed in this story as they were in the IDW comic My Little Pony Annual 2014, most of the secret identities given come from the Enterplay trading cards. I am only making up names for Mistress Mare-velous and Hum Drum as they are the only two not provided any on their cards.

Cast:

The Masked Matter-Horn, Trot Summers: Leader of the Power Ponies. A graduate of Professor C’s School for the Gifted. She is able to generate a wide variety of energy beams from her horn

Mistress Mare-velous, Artemis Flurry: Hails from the lost city of Alfalfis, where every filly is born with super strength. She is psychically connected to her magic lasso which obeys her every command.

Radiance, Green Gardener: A fashionable zepplin pilot who saved the life of a crashlanded alien superhero and was givin his power bracelets as a reward, granting her the power to create solid energy constructs in any form she can imagine.

Fili-second, Marey Allen: Former detective for the Maretropolis Police Department. Whilst investigating a chemical plant, was dowsed by chemicals and struck by lighning at the same time, granting her super speed.

Saddle Rager, Spruce Spanner: A scientist who invented a machine to cure animal illness. When the machine overloaded, she protected her animal patients and recieved the full blast of the mysterious radiation. Now whenever the defenseless are threatened, she can’t control her temper and becomes the Saddle Rager.

Zapp, Aurora: Princess of the faraway land of Sleipniscira. Wields the the Thunderer Amulet, which grants her control over the forces of nature.

Hum-Drum, Wick Mason: Junior member of the Power Ponies. No powers, and a bit clumsy, but far more competant than most ponies give him credit for. His understanding of friendship is what keeps the team together.

While this story will take heavily from Under the Red Hood, I will make an effort to still make it as original as possible and not a word for word adaptation.
