I guess out of all the things that could have happened that day, all the places we could have ended up, we actually got pretty lucky. It’s funny how hindsight reveals that kind of stuff to you.

It's the end of the school year, and nearly the entire college has gathered on the roof to bear witness to a once-in-a-lifetime celestial event. Games, jokes, sodas, and burgers foster an atmosphere of calm and content friendship. However, as the time draws near and the students watch in awe, the universe has other plans for them. Separated from their friends and family and stranded in a strange new world full of magic and myths, will they be able to adapt to survive? Will someone take charge and lead them into a new life, or will they be left out in the cold? And with an unknown threat looming in the shadows, how will Equestria handle the arrival of its newest inhabitants, especially when some of them are none too happy to be there?

This is my first fic on this site, so I hope you guys like it. Timeline-wise, this story will take place during season 7. I may adapt the story to accommodate new events and developments in the show, but for right now, I feel this is a good place to start as no new major developments have been made as to any new threats or major plot twists.
I do not own anything from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as all rights belong to Hasbro. Should I choose to introduce any OC ponies, I will clarify ownership at that time. All humans are mine. I will update the tags as they become relevant.
