Being the well known one Spike took point as they left the alley and made their way into the streets, they where swarmed instantly. Sweetie and Silverspoon hung back as Spike masterfully played off his smile.

"Just been so long since I've seen this beautiful city and it's patrons, every place that isn't the empire is just so dull and it's been so long since my last visit, I just can't stop beaming at this beautiful place and all the ponies who live here," The Crystal Ponies ate this up and Spike let them enjoy him for one last time before waving them off and leading the others to the Castle, and the Heart. A Few Guards where patrolling around it but paid them no mind thanks to Spike.

"This was boringly easy," Silver noted as she looked at the heart, before anything else could be said a happy voice sounded and Shinning Armor greeted them.

"Spike," He Cheered Giving him a hug Spike shivered a little at his touch before patting his brother on the back. "You should have called, is Twilight with you?"

"Nope, I weaseled some Vacation days out of her to show my friends around the Empire, they've been bugging me about it for weeks," Spike motioned to them and Sweetie spoke up.

"It's very nice to meet you mister Armor, Spike told us absolutely nothing about you in any personal manner, just the things everypony knows, Captain of the Guards, Husband of Cadance, that kind of stuff, I'm Sweetie Belle Rarity's younger sister,"

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Shining said politely as Cadance approached them with Flurry in her arms, Shining turned to Silver who said very bluntly.

"Spike owed me a butt load of bits and paying for this trip just about covers his debt," She shrugged "Almost," Shining looked over to Spike disapprovingly and Spike gave him a toothy grin.

"Pretty sure she's a cheater," he replied merrily, Cadance smiled at them before noticing Sweetie getting a little to close to the Crystal Heart.

"Whoa, sweetie you really shouldn't be touching that," Sweetie looked at it for a moment before turning to Cadance.

"How did you know my name?"

"Pretty sure that was a coincidence," Silver called back, Sweetie stepped back and looked at the heart.

"Hey Voice, I'm not entirely sure I can fight an Alicorn, at the very least I'm not mentally ready for it,"

"You could fight her but I require you at your full power to be the conduit to take the heart, no worries tho, your distraction should be coming right about-" a guard came rushing out of the castle, tripping down the stairs in his hast.

"Shinning rushed to him and helped him to his hooves,"

"Princess, message from Princess Twilight, the letter was rushed and messy but it appears something is turning children into horrifying monster and she requires your aid in containing those infected," Cadance looked at Shinning before handing Furry to him and extending her wings.

"Shining keep an eye on Spike and his friends, we don't want whatever this is reaching the Empire," She took a running start and took to the air, teleporting in one of many jumps to reach Ponyville. Shining watched her go and Spike looked at the Guard and his eye's shot up when he saw the back of the note before smiling and walking over to the guard.

"Hey buddy," He said getting Shining's attention "There's something on the back," The Guard looked at Spike then flipped the page over.

"Oh it's a list of-" The Guard's eye's went wide as he stared at the letter.

"What's wrong?" Shining asked. The Guard made looked over to Spike who smiled.

"Read it," he said happily.

"List of the 6 who have been infected," The Guard looked at Shining who looked to the shivering guard then to Spike's ever growing smile.

"No," Shining said with realization, The Guard suddenly froze and dropped the note as tentacle shot out of his sternum and splattered blood around, The Guard's eye's rolled into his head and he fell, as he did so Spike's disguise broke apart and he smiled as he rose the blood soaked tentacle

"Bet his last thought was, why didn't I Look at the back," Spike said with a laugh as Shining backed away with horror in his eyes, the Guards in the area having similar reactions as Spike went on "She must have been in a hurry to have used a piece of paper instead of a scroll. Shame, that scroll could have saved lives," Flurry sneezed and Spike's eyes locked onto her. "Awe, she just so cute," Spike looked Shining in the eye "I bet all her widdle organs are cuter than regular organs," Shinning lit his horn and teleported Flurry to the nearest Guard, taking their Sword in the Process, the Guard blinked then turned and ran.

Spike watched the Guard then turned to Shining who was scowling.

"Spike I don't wanna do this," he said as he raised the sword "but you are not touching my daughter,"

"oh I'll do worse than touch her," Spike replied as Silver and Sweetie's disguises melted.

"Spike," Sweetie said "keep him busy, Silver go play with the Guards, I've got my task," Silver laughed and turned to the nearest Guard.

"I'm getting me some bones to munch on!" She cheered before getting down on all four and rushing the Guard, he fell pretty fast but the rest rushed her and she ran to a less crowded area, dragging her prize with her screaming. Most of the guards followed Silver but a few turned their attention to Sweetie who said simply.

"Spike kindly kill any of the none Shining Armor guards left here when I get to 5," The remaining Guards rushed after Silver and Spike turned to Shining, who was holding his sword ready to fight. Spike smiled at him and held out his arms, a glob of water formed in the palm of each hand and began spinning.

"Coming Shining, Let's play ball!"

Every other chapter (for the next few chapters) Will switch from area to area, next chapter will be the Train, then after that will be the continuation of this, so one until this part of the story ends.
