I woke up in the morning to find my self in a very sort cloud bed and smelled some thing nice I follow the sent in to the kitchen were I find Rainbow cooking breakfast it smelt heavenly I walk to a chair and sit down Rainbow here's the noise of the chair and turns around when she noticed me she smiled and said good morning good morning to you to I say what are you making? it smells great oh I'm just making some toast and jam with rainbow Cake I found this big book normally I don't bother with books but this one had a picture of rainbow coloured cake on the front so I gave it a try and it worked said Rainbow as she put down a plate full of toast and a jar of raspberry jam then she puts down two plates which both have big slices of rainbow Cake I grab a plate from a stack she just put down and put a piece of toast on the plate than spread the jam on the toast I as take a bite i start choking rainbow thumps me on the back in till I stopped choking and spit out some little bits of toast I thanked Rainbow and started eating my toast again when I'm finished I start eating my rainbow Cake it's delicious I tell Rainbow that the cake is amazing she blushed and then said thank you then I hope on to Rainbow's back and she flys us down to the floor Rainbow look's at me and says it's time I teach you how to fly ok? I nod ok start by unfolding your wings I unfold my little wings she nods now you flap then you need to imagine you are very light like paper but in control Rainbow said I nod and start flaping my wings faster and faster in till I start to hover then fly then I looked at Rainbow and said look I'm doing it she nods happily well done kid Rainbow said then Rainbow said that I kind of reminded her of fluttershy I asked who fluttershy is then Rainbow said that she's a old friend so I asked if I could meet this fluttershy Rainbow agreed and said we could go and visit her I said yes then we flew to a little cottage i turned to Rainbow and said I thought you said she is a Pegasus? she is she's just scared of heights ok I replied when we reach the door Rainbow knocks three times then a shy looking Pegasus opens the door reveling a sofa many pictures on the walls a little lamp and a lots and lots of animals hello the pale yellow Pegasus said to Rainbow hi fluttershy this is poppyseed Rainbow said hi i say to fluttershy hello she replied Rainbow was telling me about you this morning I say as I walk through the doorway was she really? That was nice of her fluttershy said I know I say to her I love all your animals thanks she said as she blushed lightly got to go now but it was nice meeting you I'll see you soon bye! I said Bye she said then then as me and Rainbow walked away Rainbow said well you to hit it of I nod my head in agreement she's nice I said a little shy but nice then me and Rainbow went for a long fly wings flaping and tails flowing out behind us

Chapter one

Hi I'm poppyseed I'm a 9 year old filly and this is my story. I look at the bully trying to be brave the bullys name was thunderbolt Thunder for short. thunder looked at me with a smirk. Look it's the little chicken poppyseed said Thunder i looked at him becoming mad. what's wrong you scared? He said what no I'm not scared! I replied is that so then you wouldn't mind me doing this he said then he pushed me hard I fell off the edge of the cloud only managing to get one of my front hooves on the edge of said cloud he looked down at me and said you look scared I wonder why... oh that's right it's because you can't fly and then we herd the bell for class oh got to go said Thunder bye bye I looked at him in fear then just after he left I began sliping and then I fell I screamed but nopony came then just as I had lossed hope I spotted a Pegasus I called help me again and again then finally she looked over when she did her eyes widened she flew down in so she was directly underneath me then I dropped on to her back and then we landed safely on the ground she looked at me and said I'm Rainbow dash what's your name? Poppyseed I said she said what's the falling all about? I explained what happened then she growled stupid bullys she muttered under her breath thank you for saving me I said she chuckled and said it's ok kid after saying thank you one more time I started walking away then my tummy rumbled I am actually quite hungry I thought then I realised that I was now in a small village I walked over to a mare she was orange and had blonde hair tied in a pony tail she had three little freckles on each cheek and she also had a cowboy hat on I walked over to her and asked um do you know where I could get some food? Yep she said just follow me I followed her to a farm this here is sweet Apple acres ma home she said and my name is Applejack I looked at her and said I'm poppyseed. that's a nice name said Applejack here have a apple she kicked the tree then a few apple's fell down she offered me one I took it and ate it then look up at Applejack and asked if I could have a go at kicking trees she said ok but it takes a very hard kick to get the apple's to falk then I walked over to a tree an kicked it as hard as I could then all of the apple's fell off the tree Applejack looked at me with widened eyes h how did you do that? She asked I said I focused very hard then kicked the tree she looked impressed and then told me the I had a good kick by then Celestia was lowering the sun I decided to try to find Rainbow dash again i looked around and then saw Rainbow dash lying on a cloud Rainbow I called she looked down at me and then flew down so she was beside me what is it kid? She asked. can I stay with you please? I said sure she said so then I sat on her back and she flew to her house she showed me were the spare bedroom was she also showed me the rest of the house then we brushed are teeth and went to bed before I went to sleep I thought about how good the day had been
