Chapter 1: To Equestria!

“W-Where am I? I finished killing Satan, when all of a sudden there was a bright light, and then… nothing.” Isaac said, clearly confused. “I’m still in that devil form I had gotten, but what’s with the weaponry? The sacrificial dagger I recognize, but I also have a sword, a frail, and a scythe. Is that a bag of nails and needles? And why do I feel… magical?” He said to himself. “I see a city up ahead… maybe I could go there?”

(In the city)

“Wait, don’t run! I just wanna… talk.” Isaac said, watching a citizen run away from him… again. “I know I look scary, but am I really making everyone run away?” He then spotted a castle in the distance, on the other side of town. “It may be a long shot, but it’s the best chance I have.”

“Princess Celestia! A monster is scaring the citizens of Canterlot! Shall we take action?” Shining Armor asked the princess.

“Is it actually harming anyone?” Celestia asked.

“No, but it hasn’t had the chance if it means to. Everypony’s just running away from it as soon as they see it.” “Leave it alone, then, maybe it’s just lost.”

“It’s coming to the castle, asking if you are here, Your Highness. The guards are refusing to answer on principle.”

“At least let it in, Captain.”

“Of course, Princess.”

“Can someone please help me, I’m just lost.” Isaac asked a guard.

“Yeah, right, like I’m gonna help-”

“The princess said to let it in, soldier.” Shining Armor stated, shocking the guard at the gate.

“But sir-”

“LET IT IN THE CASTLE.” The scared guard squeaked, and lifted the gate so that Isaac could get into the castle. “Thanks, mister.” Shining Armor was caught off guard by Isaac’s gratitude. “You’re welcome, come on in.”

“Hello young one, I am Princess Celestia, ruler of the land of Equestria. What is your name?” Celestia asked Isaac.

“I’m Isaac, Princess. I… ran away from home.”

“Why did you do that?” A purple unicorn filly asked.

“Twilight, please-”

“My mom tried to kill me, ma’am.” Isaac suddenly answered, shocking both Celestia and her student.

“W-why would a mother do such a horrible thing?” Twilight asked

“She thought she heard the voice of God asking her to sacrifice me, but she was actually really sick and hearing voices. I should know, I read His word, and he calls human sacrifice a sin.”

“I see, that is truly disturbing if a physical illness can do such a thing.” Celestia Said.

“I don’t know if it was even a physical illness. The doctor who took her away once said that something was wrong with her mind, and not her body.” Isaac said, getting depressed.

“But don’t you have a magic cure for such a thing?” Twilight asked, only for Isaac to shake his head.

“We don’t have magic in the same sense that you do. Our magic is just parlor tricks, illusions, and the sleight of hand for entertainment. Any other magic is considered supernatural. People are scared of what they don’t and can’t know or understand, and call it either divine… or demonic. Anything else is explained scientifically, and even then we don’t know everything. Doesn’t help that we had a period of history where the masses couldn’t learn or discover anything because most people couldn’t read. Stupid Dark ages”

“It seems that you have no way to get home, Isaac.” Celestia said.

“Yeah, and I don’t really want to. I should get a job if I wanna support myself. I can fight, I just have no formal training, and I’m also very creative… maybe I could be trained as a bodyguard of sorts?” Isaac wondered to himself, not noticing Celestia’s wide grin. “What?”

Author's Note

Okay, so, A few things.
1) Little personal headcannon here, but in this, Isaac is a child genius of sorts, so that he can keep up with Twilight intellectually.
2) This is specifically Devil USUPER Isaac, that means that he took the devil deals, but then OVERTHREW Satan, this will come into play later.
3) Please, no flames, and if I make anyone fell stupid, I'm sorry. I'm only nineteen, but my mind flipflops between thinking like a 4 year old kid, and an 20 year old scientific genius.
