Lunch Time Discussion & Facing Her Sisters

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

As Adagio and Sunset arrived at the restaurant, despite everything that had happened the night before and how much happiness they felt, once they were seated they sat there in an awkward silence. Sunset and Adagio had nervous looks on their faces until Sunset finally spoke up, "So, what are you going to do when you get home?"

Adagio replied, "Well, I'm probably going to go up to my room and get some sleep."

Sunset knew what she really meant. She asked, "So what are you going to do if your sisters approach you over last night?"

Adagio blushed, "Well I'm going to just tell them we watched movies and slept in late. I'm going to try and cut any conversation short and just head to my room."

This was something that kind of bothered Sunset. She wondered why Adagio did not want her sisters to know about them being girlfriends. She asked, "Dagi, why don't you want them to know? Are you ashamed that I'm your girlfriend and that is why you don't want them to know?"

Adagio gave her a nervous smile, "You don't understand how they are Sunny. Both of them will give me hell for who knows how long." She gave her a deep sigh and continued, "It's a siren thing Sunny. Yes we've been humans for what feels like an eon or two but inside we're still sirens and going from just being friends to girlfriends so quickly will simply cause them to wonder."

Sunset replied, "Well look at them, they're girlfriends and they are sisters!"

Adagio said, "Yes they are sisters and even that was taboo so long ago back in Equestria, it is different because they have known each other for ages." She gave Sunset a smile and continued, "How about I tell them after our next sleepover if they don't figure it out by then?"

Sunset wasn't overly thrilled about her wanting to hide it for that long but accepted it, "Oh alright but I'm betting they'll figure it out rather quickly."

This conversation had begun to make Adagio a bit nervous but she was happy when the arrival of their food would interrupt their discussion. As they were eating their lunch Adagio couldn't help but dread going home. She knew that no matter how quick she tried to get up to her room, that her sisters would likely interrogate her over why she was gone for so long.

After they ate lunch and Adagio dropped Sunset off, she headed home, hoping that things would not be too awkward between her and her sisters. It was around 1400 when she walked in the door. At first it was eerily quiet in their house causing Adagio to wonder what was going on. "Aria, Sonata, I'm home, where are you?"

She got no response so she figured that perhaps they had patched things up and were upstairs having fun. It would not be long until she realized that was not the case. When she headed into the living room she found her sisters sitting there staring at the entrance with smirks on their faces. She asked, "What have you two been up to? What is up with the smirks?"

Aria replied, "We were worried sick about you!" She then began to laugh, "Had you not shown up in another hour, we were going to come make sure Sunny hadn't suffocated you!"

Adagio began to blush as she replied, "Suffocated me? Why would she suffocate me?"

Sonata giggled, "Don't try that innocent, naive girl stuff with us! We're sure you did a whole lot more than just have dinner and watch movies."

Aria approached her and began to sniff. She asked, "What in the hell is that smell?"

Sonata too approached her, bent down and began to sniff. She laughed, "You know Ari, I know what it is! Our sister must have been thinking naughty thoughts around her beloved Sunny."

Adagio gasped, "Naughty thoughts, now why would I be thinking naughty thoughts?"

Aria grabbed her butt and laughed, "You could have at least washed your underwear before coming home."

Sonata added, "Well at least she remembered to wash the smell of sunshine off of her!"

Adagio shoved them and said, "Hey, we did not do that! We did not....."

Aria again began to sniff her and interrupted, "Hey Nata, think we should go visit Sunny? One of us could tell her we had to use the restroom."

Sonata knew what she was talking about. She laughed, "And we can see for ourselves if she uses lavender soap!"

At this point Adagio's face was red as an apple as she knew that her sisters likely knew what happened. That wasn't going to cause her to break though. She said, "Just because I used her soap doesn't mean anything. I did have to shower before we went out to lunch, I mean breakfast after all."

This caused Aria and Sonata both to break down into laughter. Aria laughed, "Lunch? Go out for lunch?"

Sonata grabbed a hold of Adagio and giggled, "What about breakfast? What did you do for breakfast?"

Adagio nervously sighed, "Uh, well...."

Aria ran her hand down the front of Adagio's pants until she hit Adagio's sweet spot. She laughed, "Don't you know Nata, Sunny ate this and Dagi likely ate hers!"

Adagio angrily ripped Aria's hand out of her pants and yelled, "Look, don't go assuming things ok? Sunny and I didn't do anything like that, alright?"

Adagio stormed up to her room and slammed the door shut, leaving Aria and Sonata downstairs to speculate. Sonata was the first to say anything, "You know, the way she is acting I know she's hiding something! I'm betting they're more than just friends."

Aria laughed, "Yeah, friends with benefits!"

Sonata suggested, "Or maybe they are more than that! Maybe they are girlfriends already!"

Aria countered, "Nah, I don't see Dagi as the type to jump into something that serious this quickly." She began to laugh, "But after their next dinner and movie night, I'm sure she will be Sunset's girlfriend!"

Sonata replied, "Yeah, probably."

While Aria and Sonata carried on with the rest of their day as normally as they could, Adagio had locked herself in her room. She knew that her sisters would give her hell and she was right. Another thing she knew though was that doing this was not fair to Sunset. She sat there on her bed wondering what she should do. She said to herself, "What do I do here? Do I wait until after next time to tell those two or do I simply tell them now?"

She sat there in silence until she continued, "I'll just hold off as long as I can. If I can make it another week, then I'll tell them."
